Caspian in Lindau (Bodensee)

I normally only leave positive reviews when I visit places. However, the service was so bad I feel I have to leave honest feedback so the place can improve. It was our last night staying at the campsite so we decided to eat at the restaurant. The other food options were closed because it was Monday. We had not booked. A lady showed us to a table. Although between my husband and I we speak 4 languages, German isn’t one. When the lady serving us realised we didn’t understand she left our table to serve everyone else, loudly mocking us. We then ordered. The food came out quite quickly and was ok for what it was. Our young children grew restless by the end of the meal and so my husband took them outside. Miscommunication on our part meant I thought he had paid. When I went out to join them at the play area we discovered that neither of us had. I went straight back in to pay and apologise only to be shouted at by the lady to the point I came out crying. It was such a shame because we had enjoyed our time at the campsite but this experience has put us off returning.

Very unfriendly, and you stand in front of locked doors even though they are actually open......

Fish cutlet, rice, and cola for the first time in a long time... I didn't choose any sauce, just lemon.

I would like to write a review but since we didn't even get a menu after 15 minutes even though we were welcomed and asked to sit at the table and then saw us waiting several times, we left.

I don't understand how people don't look at the sign that says "we'll take you to your table." Many customers enter the terrace avoiding the sign. We are polite and know how to read. We are led to the table in the blink of an eye. This is where the beauty begins for any tourist who wants to experience peace on vacation. The waiter speaks a little Portuguese and I feel like I'm on vacation. Everything is calm with the terrace full, a pleasant atmosphere. Then the food arrives, which did not disappoint us. The ribs are unique. My wife and I liked everything.
