Bistro Roseneck in Lindau (Bodensee)

Unfortunately, I didn't read the reviews here before my visit! "Classic Menu" in the restaurant (under "Maennerwirtschaft"): Sparse display, drink only 3/4 full, no 🍋 in sight, one or two? tiny scraps of parsley on the potatoes. Unloving - a real shame! Okay - the fish was warm - at least.

I was here as a guest for New Year's Eve. The food/menu and the service were excellent. Very child-friendly and easily accessible by bus (Gitzenweiler Hof stop). A ramp for strollers and wheelchairs is available. Reservations are recommended.

Stopped here spontaneously for lunch. Friendly staff. Beautiful building and very good food.

We were guests today. The restaurant is beautifully located on Lake Constance. The staff was very friendly and the decor is very attractive. We each had a steak, the quality of the meat was top and it was cooked wonderfully medium. Unfortunately, my steak was totally over salted due to the sea salt that was sprinkled under and on the meat. That's why, despite the quality of the meat, I can only give it 1 star. When we asked if we liked it, I said that it was very salty. They wanted to pass it on to the kitchen. After dinner we ordered an espresso and a cappuccino. I'm not a person who looks for a fly in the ointment. But I would have liked to have had the cappuccino paid for on the house after the shortage. Personally, I think that's a shame and it was very difficult for me not to tip. But I couldn't tip for it. Unfortunately, the impression has now left a bitter taste in my mouth. But maybe we'll get there again. We would be happy to give you a second chance. As already written, the location is simply beautiful.

Positive: Friendly welcome, nice reception, information about the food and wine. The food was okay. Negative: We had to wait quite a long time for the drinks. Waited 1.5 hours for the food!! There were 6 of us, and we all ordered the same dish (lamb rump fregola stew). The evening seemed very disorganized. Not a good atmosphere. Unfortunately, there were lots and lots of mosquitoes 🦟 flying around our table. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it at this time.
