A very nice restaurant with great food like burgers, salads, pasta... and equally delicious breakfast options. The service is excellent... friendly and fast.

Small and charming. And located in a beautiful spot.

Superb location. But... less than 10 minutes before ordering a beer. And even then, we had to raise our hand and flag down the waiter, who walked past us twice, ignoring us. Then another 5 minutes before being served. The service is deplorable. We also wanted lunch, so we went elsewhere. And to be honest, right across the street, where we received a superb welcome.

The Viennese fried chicken with potato salad tasted very good. However, at €18.90, the portion is poor value for money. The meat is limited to 1/4 chicken.

Great restaurant, food and drink very tasty and great selection. Staff also very friendly and attentive. Only the seating outside is not very comfortable and advantageous.

We ate the best burger of our lives here (Chicken Burger 🍔). The service was excellent, everyone was very personable! The furnishings are very tasteful. Music was very good 🎵 😉. Next time we are in Lindau we will definitely come back!! ❤️

We're sitting inside right now. It's a very nice cozy restaurant. Delicious food, from sweet to savory, from tried and tested to unusual dishes. Great atmosphere among the staff and a stylish ambience. Really successful all round!

Highly recommended! Very good food!! We had the cheeseburger and the falafel burger with sweet potato fries. The menu offers a lot of choice, including many vegetarian and vegan options - I couldn't decide what to get. The atmosphere inside is totally pleasant and the waiters are very friendly. The food came quickly even though it was busy. I'd love to come back 🙂

Really great tagliatelle made from a parmesan wheel with walnuts and attentive service. The espresso afterwards (made from beans from the Hensler roastery next door) was a crowning finale.

We were completely satisfied. The food was very tasty and filling. We had a vegan bowl, the island bread salami, the burratta and the chocolate cake. A nice restaurant that lives up to its name in terms of ambience. The service was excellent, always a smile on your face and a cool saying on your lips. All in all a very nice evening, we will definitely be back. ☺️

Very inviting at first. Cozy atmosphere. The staff is nice and attentive. And you don't have to wait long until the drinks arrive. We just wanted something to drink, so I can't say anything about the food. However, 0.80 ct each. I think plant milk and caffeine-free are sporty! For me, a reason to find another cute café.

The vegan island bread was really tasty. We'll come back and eat exactly the same again :).

Food was very tasty and the atmosphere is very nice. I also think the regional products are great. But the boss puts on a bit too much show and the service is neglected. - Empty drink bottle was cleared away during the meal, but no reorder was asked. - Starter arrived at a different time even though both were cold dishes. - For my companion, the fries with the meat came much later, by which time the meat had almost been eaten or would have been cold. - the salad for the starter wasn't really dressed.

Unfortunately, the delicious breakfast that is supposed to be served until 11:30 a.m. is either no longer available shortly after 11 a.m. or is no longer served. This has happened to us four times on Saturdays and we didn't get one. This is very annoying. Maybe that can be changed.

We were there for lunch today and had a salad with Mediterranean vegetables, an island bread with mushrooms and sweet potato fries. Very large portions, everything was very fresh and we really enjoyed it. We didn't manage to eat everything. The service was also very good and friendly. We felt completely comfortable. We'd love to come back.

Very tasty breakfast. The prices are completely humane. You come out of the store very full with around 15-20 per person. Ambience is great!

Defective parking meter that did not accept cash, I could not pay digitally either... I did get a fine! City refuses to cancel fine, because apparently I should have known (as a tourist) that I should have installed an app and paid via the app... VERY unpleasant experience. Lindau was a bit deserted and is no longer the beautiful place it was 20 years ago. Most houses and streets are less well maintained, which means that the beautiful Lindau of the past seems to be in decline.

Went there spontaneously with the Schlemmerbock and it was very worth it. Food was very tasty and inexpensive. Ambiance is very nice and the conditions were also very nice.

Very very good food. Very nicely prepared and tasted really good. Very attentive staff, very friendly. Price-performance is right. Our burgers were fantastic. The dessert, Kaiserschmarrn, was not a ready-made product, it was very good. The ambience, the entire restaurant invites you to linger and is very comfortable to sit.

We really enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere. We were immediately given a friendly welcome and informed about fresh monthly dishes on the menu. As promised, these were very tasty. We felt completely comfortable.

Literally everything about this restaurant is perfect. The food = wonderful and delicious The ambience = modern style but feeling of home The service = simply nice and fast The only thing you have to say is that the food is a bit expensive, but completely justified because they source all the ingredients for the dishes locally, such as the burger buns from the bakery next door.

Seen from the outside and immediately fully addressed. First impression was brilliant. We felt very comfortable the whole evening. Great staff, very friendly. The homemade ravioli was a poem.

I was only there for 10 minutes, the main door was dirty, there was a lot of noise pollution, I mean you could hear the banging the dishes exaggerated, the floor looked really dirty, and when I saw the menus they looked full of leftover food, dirty... I decided to look for another restaurant instead.

We ate there on a quiet Monday and felt comfortable in the homely atmosphere. The service was first class and very nice. The drinks came quickly and we were well advised. Unfortunately there were significant deductions when it came to food. Unfortunately, the fried chicken was just fried chicken and not seasoned. Pity about the meat. I thought it was good that we had a kind of cruet at the table and could add spices. With potato salad it's a matter of definition and unfortunately it was cold and so it couldn't develop the full flavor. The other court was probably not entirely convincing either. The burrata with salad as a starter was also quite mild in taste but quite good. The menu also causes some confusion, but it is clear. The prices also raise a few questions, as there are some dishes with the same price that are out of proportion. The sweet potato fries were also middle class and more soft than crispy. Overall it's only a 3 out of 5. The service was the best thing of the whole evening. In terms of price, an evening for two with a starter and two main courses as well as drinks for €100 is worth considering.

It's not a real restaurant, but you can always go there for a "normal" meal. It's great that it's open even in winter. Price/performance is absolutely right! Very nice operating staff!

Unfortunately we had a very unpleasant experience at the Heimat restaurant in Lindau. When we walked in we were immediately treated rudely, while other guests who looked European were warmly greeted and seated. The man behind the counter was extremely unfriendly and told us straight away that there was no room for us. This unequal treatment was shocking and disappointing for us. Anyone who values ​​politeness and equal treatment should avoid this restaurant.

The restaurant is located right in the old town. The atmosphere is very cozy, especially if you sit in the upper back part like we did. There are two rooms in this "back, upper part" of the restaurant. In these you don't even notice how many people are in the restaurant, you're on your own. The disadvantage of the tables in the upper part is that it sometimes took a while for the service to arrive. But the service was very friendly. The food is also very tasty.

A very interesting place. The food has a bit of a Mediterranean feel, although a local influence is clearly visible. The island bread in particular is recommended, even if you might superficially mistake it for a German version of pizza. But there is a lot more. There is also enough choice for the sweet time in the afternoon. The rooms are attractively furnished in a rustic Bavarian style. Liked that. The service from the lady working was pleasant and friendly. However, you can also feel the lack of skilled workers here, because the lady in question was traveling alone and simply didn't have enough people to handle the crowds, because the restaurant is already well-known and sought after. I therefore found it remarkably positive that the supposed boss behind the counter turned away new guests by pointing out the tense staff situation. And that there were certainly places available. I don't know many bosses who act like that - respect! The risk that these guests will not come back should not be underestimated. Therefore 5 stars plus! So if you want to eat delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere, then you've come to the right place.

Food ok, service ok, toilets a disaster. No hand drying paper, overfilled trash can. I report it, “the cleaning lady is coming soon”. 2 hours later even worse. The cleaning person has to travel an extremely long way...

Wanted to eat here based on the reviews. Were there at 4:30 p.m. We actually tried to wait at the entrance so we wouldn't just sit down somewhere. There were at least 5 service staff. Nobody wanted to take notice of us. We then looked for a table ourselves. Then around 4:40 p.m. a waitress came and brought us the menu. Previous customers' empty glasses were left standing. We got up and left at 5 p.m. Because none of the service staff was able to take the order. In my opinion, the staff was completely overwhelmed. Empty glasses at the next tables too. Other customers wanted to pay since 4:30 p.m. and also didn't receive an invoice until 5 p.m. It was also quite cold because the door was constantly being opened

Despite the high rating, we were a little disappointed with the food. The chicken hamburger came from the fryer, basically just a kupnugget on a bun. The chicken salad was boring, watery with just a lot of lettuce, tomato, cucumber and a lot of corn. The chicken on it was tasty.

Food was good, had a portion of eggs with bacon. It was a bit little but good. But 2 points deducted because the toilet room was totally dirty. Dirt in the corners everywhere! The toilet itself was clean.

Wir gehen immer, wenn wir auf der Insel sind, sehr gerne in die "Heimat" . Ich weiss nicht, wie die negativen Kommentare zustande kommen, ich kann sie jedenfalls nicht nachvollziehen. Klar, wir waren am Jahrmarkt da und es hat ein paar Minuten gedauert, bis die sehr freundliche Bedienung die Karte brachte. Aber, wenn man keine Geduld hat, sollte man an solchen Tagen einfach nicht weggehen. Wir wurden top bedient, die übrig gebliebenen Brötchen von unserem Frühstück wurden uns sogar eingepackt. Das Angebot ist stimmig, sowohl Essen wie auch die Getränke. Leckeres Leibinger Bier aus Ravensburg und Hagnauer Wein - Herz, was willst Du mehr? Wir kommen wieder!
