Unfortunately, the food quality has deteriorated significantly. This time, the food served to six people tasted of nothing.

In short, the pasta (number 57) with Polo Pesto was excellent. Made with fresh ingredients, and we also had a delicious cheesecake for dessert. The prices are fair – neither expensive nor cheap. Next time we'll try your pasta. We'll definitely be back.

A very inviting restaurant, a mix of fast food and fine dining. You order at the counter, drinks and cutlery are provided immediately, and the food is then brought to your table. The pasta and pizza selection is extensive, with fair prices and excellent taste. The homemade lemonades are also fantastic. We were delighted.

The concept is a bit like a train station: you order centrally at the front, get a number, and find your own table. It's perfectly fine, but it doesn't exactly create that cozy Italian atmosphere. The salad came with a good amount of dressing (perhaps a little too much), and the pizza rolls were unfortunately cold. On the plus side: The portions are huge – so you can easily take half home and have another taste of Italy in your fridge the next day. On Wednesday, I went to the restaurant for the first time. After shopping downtown, we were hungry and decided to go to Buster Pasta. The place is fantastic, the portions are huge, and the staff is incredibly polite. I received a very warm welcome, and even though it's self-service, the waiter brought everything to my table. Chiko and Laurent always had a smile on their faces and were incredibly friendly.

Last Saturday, I went to a restaurant and placed an order. When I paid, I asked the cashier's colleague who had served me, and he told me the cashier's name was Toschko. When I paid with a 50-euro note and asked for a receipt, Toschko said I would receive the receipt and the change (20 euros) only when the food arrived. The bill came to 26.80 euros, and I only received 3.20 euros back immediately. When the food arrived without a receipt and without the remaining 20 euros, I was puzzled. When I confronted Toschko about it, he tried to deceive me. Only when he realized I wasn't going to give up did he give me the 20 euros, but still without a receipt. After repeatedly asking for a receipt, I only received the order slip, which seemed to be for the kitchen. ... I would find it very unpleasant if such practices were common in the restaurant, and I hope that you can clarify this situation.

The food is always good. Never disappointed. Good, solid food, from salads to burgers and pizza. Absolutely great value for money.

The service was an absolute disaster. The staff were disrespectful, unfriendly, and spoke in a tone that was downright derogatory. I brought three plates of pasta and a pizza to the counter and politely asked for everything to be wrapped. The staff member simply responded with an annoyed "What?" and a disrespectful look. Instead of simply asking, he pressed a pizza box into my hand. While I had to wrap the pizza myself, he simply threw away my three pasta dishes – even though I clearly told him twice that they should be wrapped. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable. I'm truly shocked at how guests can be treated this way.

Unfortunately, I can't give less than one star, otherwise I would. I had to wait ONE HOUR for my food even though I was sitting at a table right at the front counter. My food was only given to me when I asked for it; it had been sitting there on the counter for quite some time! Instead of apologizing, they just said they didn't know who it was for and that someone else had packed it up. The cashier saw me the whole time and knew I was waiting for it. No apology, no understanding, just excuses. 2 employees who blamed someone else, and they were extremely rude. Very disappointing and completely unprofessional. That's not how you treat guests.

A good place for pasta 😀 Tasty and fresh. I like the tagliatelle with tomatoes and arugula there. If you order tortellini, the portions are smaller. You have to go to the front to order your food. The pizza rolls are also recommended. The homemade drinks are also great. Unfortunately, the staff don't always understand you. You can have leftovers packed up, but you have to go back to the front to do so.

One star deducted because the tables aren't clean. Wipe them with an old rag. Not hygienic... The food is delicious, and the homemade iced tea is great.

Good place to have pasta and other foods.

The food is delicious, but there is one particular employee who made it difficult for a friend of mine and me to enjoy our meal. Instead of waiting tables, he was making out with a girl—and I specifically said girl, not woman! We overheard him saying in broken German, "I have to go, my wife will see us otherwise." Unfortunately, we didn't understand anything else. I don't think this kind of thing should be normalized in the workplace. Not only that, but when we ordered, our drink was forgotten, so my friend went to the front to get it. This employee unfortunately forgot it. We then had to find another employee and ask if they could bring us the drink. That's completely unacceptable. It's okay to forget something, but it's different when you do it in a workplace.

The staff are overwhelmed and don't really listen. We ordered penne pasta and got spaghetti, but the other food was delivered completely wrong. We sent it back, but we had to argue with the cashier before they would even take the food back, where we were then called liars. Most of the staff are really rude and disrespectful. Don't go there!!!!!

The restaurant is absolutely fantastic, and we really enjoyed the food. It was served at just the right time. And it tasted fresh and delicious! The service was very friendly and we felt very comfortable, and the music was very well chosen! We would definitely recommend it! We will definitely be back!

Unfortunately, it was a total disappointment. Mixed in with the noodles in the plate was a piece of napkin. How it got there, and especially why, I'll leave that aside. Much more disappointing, however, was the waiter's reaction. After we complained, they took the plate and walked away. Nothing happened for a long time. After we complained again, we were met with, "Well, what do you want now?!" and then, "Oh, you want a replacement... well, just say so." Of course, we declined the replacement and took our money, which was unkindly handed to us. Personally, I don't recommend the place and won't go there again. There are much better, more hygienic, and tastier noodle restaurants in the village and surrounding area. It's just our bad luck that we chose one of these. Oh yes, the only pleasant thing was the decor. But that's of little use if the noodles aren't/weren't even well made.

Value for money pizza and pasta. Food is generally on point and a generous portion, usually their 1 pizza is good for 2 to share. The Homemade Ice Tea is also one of my favorites here. No compulsory tipping but it'll be nice to.

Buster Pasta is a nice place in Düsseldorf where you can eat pasta, pizza and drink various drinks and taste different dishes. I definitely recommend it. Bon appetit...

If you are a tourist in Düsseldorf, please avoid this place. While my friend and I went to get our drinks (it’s self-service), a rude man took our table and moved our stuff. The servers witnessed this happening and did absolutely nothing to help us. Since we don’t speak German, they chose to ignore the situation and simply went back inside. As visitors, we felt disrespected and unwelcome. This was by far the worst experience I’ve had in Düsseldorf. Shame on this place for treating tourists this way. Shame on the people who work there.

The main downside for such a place. You have to go order food there is no waiter who would take care of it. There is no information on the subject. We sat at a table for more than 15 minutes before someone decided to inform us that we can order at the cash register. As for the food, the portions are really large. And tasty. Two of us went there today for dinner. The table was dirty and was only wiped down after we asked. There was a long line at the ordering counter. When the food arrived: the pizza was okay, the salad looked delicious, but it hadn't been washed properly. I bit into sand several times until I lost my appetite. The soda tasted like sugar. It had been better on previous visits, so this was my last time at this restaurant.

I've been to Buster Pasta in Düsseldorf several times now, and each time I'm impressed not only by the food but also by the service. I'd especially like to mention Laurent Kamp, who works here as a waiter.

We were there recently, and even though we only had a short amount of time, the visit turned out to be a real highlight. 😊 The cashier/waitress team were so warm and friendly that they saved our entire day. After all the stress with insurance claims and trouble with the neighbor, we never thought we'd go home feeling so happy – but thanks to them, that's exactly what happened. 🌞 I'll be happy to buy them a drink next time I get the chance – such kindness deserves a special thank you! The restaurant itself is also impressive across the board: the food is plentiful, extremely delicious, and the ambiance is all-around relaxing. I visited this restaurant on August 26th and was absolutely thrilled. I ordered Penne Napoli and the dish was incredibly delicious – I can highly recommend it to everyone! I'd especially like to highlight the service: The waiters were all very friendly, but especially the young man with short hair (no beard) who arrived around 6 p.m. was exceptionally attentive and courteous. He made the best impression – huge compliments to him!❤️❤️ The cocktail I tried was also excellent and I really enjoyed it. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I will definitely be back.

I would like to describe my experience during a private restaurant visit in Düsseldorf. It was one of the most negative dining experiences I've ever had. Order and Service: Together with my daughter, I ordered a Margherita pizza, spaghetti with tomato sauce and crab, and two drinks at the counter. During the ordering process, I noticed that the waiter in charge was paying close attention to two female customers, giving the impression of flirtatious behavior. This led to other guests – including us – initially being ignored. Only after I pointed it out did the waiter take our order correctly. Food Quality: The food served was in no way of an appropriate quality level: • The spaghetti had a very artificial taste, the sauce was more reminiscent of instant products (similar to Maggi), and the portion contained only two crabs. • The pizza had a hard texture, so the dough didn't seem crispy, but rather inedible. Handling complaints: A complaint to the service staff was ignored. Instead, I was referred to the manager, who was supposedly not on site. No solution or concession was forthcoming from the staff. Conclusion: The overall experience was characterized by poor service, unprofessional behavior from the waiter, and significantly below-average food quality. From a customer perspective, this restaurant in Düsseldorf is not recommended. A return visit is out of the question for me.

I have to order food at the counter. It would have been nice if the server had mentioned it, as I only noticed it in small print on the menu 10 minutes later. The food is filling in terms of the portion size, but it doesn't taste like parmesan, and the parmesan didn't smell like parmesan either. Crappy place...! We wanted to eat here tonight. We sat there for at least 10 minutes without anyone saying a word. They raised their hands twice because we wanted to order something. They acted like we didn't exist. Such a shame. So we sat in the next place.

Unfortunately, it was terrible. My colleague got a drink at the bar. I asked and was told there was no time and I would get mine at the table. I asked again after 15 minutes...then again how the food was already there, then again and then the drink was canceled because I had already finished eating...and then on top of that, the seemingly new employee behaved very hostilely: "I'm alone here, I don't have time, you see that's not possible, I don't have time, then you'll just take the money..." The man who was supposed to take our order left us standing there for five minutes while he made a phone call. There was a long black hair in my pasta. That wouldn't happen if people wore hairnets in the kitchen. My mom's pizza was okay. I used to come here so often, but these days it's really not my place to eat in the city anymore. I was having pasta, completely unsalted. I went to the counter and asked for salt. The employee said it should be on a table. I said there was none. The food was also very, very spicy; I can't tolerate a lot of spices. It had nothing to do with the food, and I was given the wrong drink. A disaster. Run away. A table of 10 at 10:30 p.m., we're accepted, we have to give our order at the bar, we have to pay beforehand. We sit down. The 4 cheese pizza was amazing, the dough was very thin and baked. Tea with fresh mint, orange and lemon. Pizza was only 12 euros! We didn't have to wait long at all. The hall is equipped with an exhaust hood and excellent ventilation. Not noisy. We sat comfortably and chatted. This is important, because in the summer other places are stuffy, the kitchen stinks and you can't hear anyone at the table. But here - everything is great!!!! Thank you.

Just had lunch: feta cheese and pizza with ham. The bread with feta cheese was good, the salad was simply cheeky! Just a boring salad (€2.99 at REWE)! Here it was €13.90. Sure, go to REWE then. Maybe just spice up the salad a bit. The pizza was good value for money.

It was a complete disaster. I've never been so disappointed and angry in a restaurant. I have a different understanding of service. We initially wanted to sit outside, but no server cared. But what was completely unacceptable was that my second order was a children's portion. It never arrived, then it was revealed that the order hadn't reached the kitchen. I heard about it and wanted to cancel it. I don't know if it was the restaurant owner or an employee; he said it had only been 10 minutes. Then the order came, but it was wrong... And after 30 minutes, nothing came. I paid for something we didn't even get. It's a real joke... even though I mentioned it. They didn't even offer to refund the money. I mean, it was 5 euros. What a rip-off. I didn't even feel like arguing, I was so angry... The one star is so I could write a comment.

Today, June 13, 2025, around 4 p.m., I was there briefly because I didn't have much time, but I have to be honest, the two guys at the cash register/waitresses saved my day/made it happier, as I'd actually been having a really bad day up until then, even though it was the sunniest day of the year... Incredibly nice people, and if I see the guys again somewhere, I'll definitely buy them a drink for their kindness!☺️ I can 100% recommend the restaurant, the food, and everything in general! Unfortunately, our visit to Buster Pasta was anything but satisfactory. Upon entering the restaurant, we noticed that the staff was neither friendly nor particularly attentive. We had called a few days in advance and informed them that we would be attending with a large group. Unfortunately, no preparations had been made in this regard, so customers had to take the initiative and push tables together. It felt like they were more of a nuisance than a welcome – an absolute no-no in the restaurant industry. The staff seemed disorganized and uninterested in the well-being of the customer. The meal itself was also a huge disappointment. The pasta was very weak in flavor, the sauce tasted like it came from a can, and the pasta had a questionable consistency. The appearance of the dish also seemed carelessly presented (see picture). The taste was more like a meal at a youth hostel than a restaurant. Overall, a visit that could have been avoided. For the prices and the central location, I had hoped for much more. I definitely won't be coming back.

We went there for lunch today. The Dolly pizza and tuna salad were delicious and plentiful. I would have given it five stars, but unfortunately had to deduct one because of the pigeon problem outside. Otherwise, very good pizza.

Food is ordered ar the counter. All the pasta looked the same. The tabasco is shared between tables and you need to find someone willing to share it. The staff is only concerned with serving dishes. The toiletes are the dirtiest I have ever seen with faeces on the walls and all over the floor.
