The tomatoes on the Tijuana fries were unfortunately completely spoiled and inedible. Completely sour and rotten, we had to spit them out. When we told the staff, they weren't really shocked and it seemed as if they already knew the tomatoes were bad. At least they prepared us new fries without tomatoes, which we then gave to some homeless people.

The fries were left in the oven too long. They were rock hard. I don't understand why it takes 10 minutes to cook fries with gravy. The employees prefer to chat with each other the whole time, but they're friendly and happy to explain everything. When I say no parsley, I mean it. Very disappointed. Next time, I'll go back to the Frittenwerk on Schadowstrasse.

The shape of the potatoes is nice. Of course, they are fried in oil and may be a bit heavy. The protein-carbohydrate balance is poor, the chicken could be increased a bit. I tried the filling shawarma, its portions were good.

Awesome interior design, but seemed a bit pricey and upscaled. There are other places in Altstadt to get fries and german bar foods. There was also a very hefty wait time and very little space inside. However, I enjoyed the variety. The food is tasty.

Unfortunately, when the second dish was finished, the first curry sausage was cold. When we complained about this, the curry sausage was torn out of my hand and thrown into the trash can... Are you serious? That's not how you handle food. Conclusion for us: Never again!

Frittenwerk in Düsseldorf's old town is definitely worth a visit if you're in the mood for delicious food. The fries and the various side dishes are really great - the taste of the offering is convincing across the board. Particularly noteworthy is the quality and variety on offer here. In the evening, however, there is a small catch: you can only eat outside, and since the old town is the old town, it quickly gets loud. There are bars everywhere, a lot of alcohol is consumed, and the noise can be overwhelming. If you don't have a problem with that or just stop by during the day, you'll definitely be happy here. Overall, a strong recommendation for fans of good fast food in a cool location!

Late in the evening of February 28, 2025, the employee tried to foist another guest's order on my wife. The guest and the employee apparently agreed on this shortly after my wife placed her orders - that's really bad!

I advise you not to be prejudiced and try their blends. When I said Istanbul Style, they gave me the potato in the photo. I think I finished the whole plate in about 6 minutes after I tasted the first fork :) It is my recommendation.

My friend and I each wanted to order 1 Currywurst Special. The cashier immediately behaved strangely, asked whether it was vegan or normal and then went to her colleague. We wanted two normal ones. The two discussed something briefly and then she came back. She sold us 2 currywurst specials... Unfortunately they were the vegan sausages. We wouldn't have such a big problem with it if they had said it and not lied to us about it. Therefore 1 star. The fries were delicious but the lie was just bold...

Today I ordered a portion of red and white fries. Unfortunately, the sauce was not handed out separately in small containers as usual, but was added directly to the fries. I would like to share with you my experiences at Frittenwerk. Was in Düsseldorf at the weekend and came across this by chance Locality became aware. Friendly young employee upon entering. The first impression of the clean facility was confirmed even though there was a lot going on that day. I ordered classic fries currywurst. Order arrived promptly, presented clean and hot. Unfortunately the curry sauce was too spicy for me personally, but that's my impression. Fries super crispy and well baked. Overall, satisfied and happy to return.

We were so excited to try some currywurst here during our holiday in Dussledorf. The food was delicious but sadly the service was terrible. The staff were laughing at me and sniggering as I ordered, again when I was paying, and again when serving our food 👎👎 they made us feel very unwelcome, we won't be coming back

I likened it to Turkish style baked potato. Both the crispness of the potatoes and the sauce and salads of your choice were delicious. We paid 37.50€ for 3 main courses and three drinks. I liked it very much. I also bought Istanbul Street Fries from the menu. My daughter got Chicken Shawarma, we didn't like the curry sauce. My wife also bought Pink Persia Poutine, it was with falalelli, we liked it. I recommend.
