Hin & Weg in Düsseldorf

wow... you get more to eat in the jungle camp than at Hin & weg! Given the portions you get there, a lollipop would have provided more energy.

This lunchtime I treated myself to a salad to take away from Hin & Weg at the market stall on Carlsplatz. The offer looked very attractive. A large number of vegetarian options and a few vegan options are offered...including a special lunch special that I couldn't say no to. Everything is obviously and tastefully freshly made. The service is super friendly. Top score!

Looks good, but I've never seen it open! In the afternoons and evenings, there are quite a few people waiting for the train and could become potential customers 😉

A very inconspicuous snack bar from the outside. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it tasted here.

Friendly staff, delicious food, BUT: They close the restaurant too often, probably for business catering reasons. It makes it impossible to trust them. I wish they could make the extra effort, because there are many private customers who rely on Hin & Weg.
