Brauhaus Am Dreieck in Düsseldorf

I was skeptical because of the reviews, but I had a very pleasant evening, including excellent service from the waiters. I never had an empty glass, and the food was delicious. Everything was perfect. Edit: Five years later, they suddenly stopped accepting card payments. We had to walk to the machine after our meal, which significantly worsened the experience.

I always feel quite at home in this rustic brewery. The service is attentive and fast, and the prices are great, too. The food is, of course, more traditional home cooking, but even vegetarians can find something delicious here. Another great advantage is the bowling alley in the basement and the adjoining party room, which I also used for my birthday and which can accommodate up to 100 people.

The location is really nice, but the food and service are unfortunately not so good. The potato soup tasted like cream; there was no sign or taste of potatoes. The schnitzel was cafeteria-quality at best, and the pepper sauce came from a packet. My wife drank Alt and I drank Pils, and I was only served every other round. My complaint was met with a rude response: "We drink Alt here." Don't get me wrong, I'm from Düsseldorf and I'm a local brewer, but I also enjoy a Pils with my meal. We won't be eating there again; there are much better restaurants around the corner.

We ordered a normal meal for two people. We were given a generous beer, but we had to wait over an hour for our food. Then the waiter became rude and we canceled the meal, only paid for the beer, and had a huge argument with the waiter. It was completely unacceptable.

You get yelled at by regulars, and the staff even laughs about it. But they can't do the math, so you have to do it yourself as a guest.

We went bowling and then had dinner at the restaurant. Everything was fine during the bowling. Unfortunately, after that, things got frustrating. We had to wait forever for everything. Drinks took forever and were sometimes missing, and we had to actively approach the waiter to get something. The food took another 45 minutes. Luckily, it was at least very tasty (Brauhauspfanne), so I can turn a blind eye to it. Another negative point is that you can only pay in cash. In short: the food and bowling were great, but the service could greatly improve.

Dined there spontaneously with nine people. Nine different meals. Everyone was satisfied.

The bowling alley was reserved for 10 p.m., but we said we might be there as early as 9:30 p.m. When we arrived at 10 p.m., we were turned away because the ticket office was already closed. When we asked about our reservation, all we got was, "You're late!" We reserved for two hours and were turned away like criminals. Unfriendly service, and we were simultaneously blamed for being late. Reservations aren't taken seriously here, and you get a lot of rude comments for them. You shouldn't go to this place!

Overall, it was okay. The service was a bit chaotic but friendly. The outdoor seating is quite pleasant. However, the quality of the food didn't impress me. Everything tasted very much like pre-made sauce, frozen food... and the mushroom sauce on the Jägerschnitzel was cold.

They only accept debit cards. The steaks are delicious and are worth the price. Service was friendly and relaxed.

The bowling alley was OK, but the atmosphere in the basement was lacking, and the server was unfriendly. Afterward, at the brewery, we were assigned a table in a bad location, despite having made a reservation days in advance. I probably won't be coming back here.

Beautiful Düsseldorf brewery. Delicious beer, good food, football broadcasts, bowling alley. You can also sit outside. The service is good and attentive. You can pay by card! I highly recommend the Holstein schnitzel; the portions are generous and filling! The beer snacks (Mettbrötchen, halve Hahn, Frikabrötchen) are also definitely recommended. The BAD is located right at the Dreieck (Triangle) and is therefore easily accessible by public transport.

We have been scammed. We ordered drinks as stated on the menu. Without saying a word, we were given larger glasses, for which we then had to pay double — €5.60 for a Fanta instead of the stated €2.80. These 'upgrades' were not mentioned anywhere on the map and were not discussed with us in advance. In addition, payment with a debit or credit card was not possible. Cash or German bank card only. Ultimately we had to transfer the amount to a private account of one of the waiters. This feels anything but professional or reliable. Very unreliable experience — definitely not recommended.

Wij zijn opgelicht. We bestelden drinken zoals vermeld op de kaart. Zonder iets te zeggen kregen we grotere glazen, waarvoor we vervolgens het dubbele moesten betalen — €5,60 voor een Fanta in plaats van de aangegeven €2,80. Deze ‘upgrades’ stonden nergens op de kaart vermeld en werden niet vooraf met ons besproken. Daarnaast was betalen met een betaalkaart of creditcard niet mogelijk. Alleen contant of via een Duitse bankpas. Uiteindelijk moesten we het bedrag overmaken naar een privérekening van één van de obers. Berekening werd gedaan via een bierviltje. Dit voelt allesbehalve professioneel of betrouwbaar. Zeer onbetrouwbare ervaring — absoluut geen aanrader.

Absolutely not recommended. In the refrigerator accessible to guests there were beers without labels or with an expired best-before date (some since February 2025). The taste of some bottles suggested they were spoiled - a serious breach of hygiene and food safety regulations. In addition, the bowling alleys were in a catastrophic condition - so crooked that the balls literally bounced across the lane when they rolled. Unprofessional in every way.

We used to come here regularly to eat and drink. Unfortunately, after a long break, we didn't get to eat this time. The regular waiter “L...”, who has been with us for a long time, skillfully and deliberately ignored us. Beer always came quickly as we passed, even though the glasses were still a third full. The lines were “waxed” onto the lid with skillful momentum. After a long wait, I actively asked the waiter if we could please order something to eat. This was answered with a meager “yes”. The waiter then made two or three more rounds of beers to the other guests, only to eventually lean on the counter directly in front of us and take a break. He picked up his smartphone and started swiping, even looking at us at times. After about 2! After a few minutes he went back to the bar for his next round of beers, tray in hand. He walked past us completely dry! We then immediately got up, paid (suddenly he was standing there with his wallet) and left the BAD immediately. We weren't unfriendly, nor did we criticize anything or anything like that. Really nothing. Thank God there are enough great and friendly alternatives in the area. This behavior was simply outrageous and cannot be justified. Karma will take care of it. We will definitely not recommend the BAD anymore!

Beware of rip-offs! The waiter was unfriendly and obviously drunk, there was no real cash register and they only wrote things down on random pads. We were then accused of cheating, which is just silly.

Food ok, ambience ok, service unfortunately just bad. Things can go wrong, but when waiters, obviously drunk, start insulting the guests, understanding ceases. There are no bills, neither are card payments and questions about the bill are answered with insults.

It's actually nice, but you should be fired for service. In short: Bad service, unfriendly waiters, food ok, incorrect billing.

Food fairly priced, good portions. The taste is also quite ok, but there is room for improvement. Unfortunately, my knuckle was a bit dry and my wife's steak wasn't bad, but nothing extraordinary. The service is so bad and needs to be reminded more often, everything could run more smoothly.

Bowlingbahnen und -anlage in sehr schlechtem Zustand. Bahnen auf Grund technischer Schwierigkeiten nicht für die volle gemietete Zeit nutzbar – werden aber voll abgerechnet. "Rechnung" nur auf handschriftlichem Notizzettel; Kartenzahlung nicht möglich. Keine Empfehlung!

The bathroom has two bowling alleys in the basement. Actually, this is or was once one of the nicest places in Düsseldorf to play bowling if you don't feel like going to a big hall. Unfortunately, bowling here is now discouraged. The tracks and the entire facility are in poor condition. The tracks are uneven; in many cases the balls rumble and jump across the track. The ball return very often does not work. During our last visit, the staff initially had difficulty getting the system up and running. So we couldn't start until 10 minutes later. In the end, despite our request, we were not granted an extension beyond the booked time - but were nevertheless charged the full price for the full period. The fact that instead of a receipt there was only a handwritten note about the price of the trains and drinks, in connection with the insistence on cash payment - cards were not accepted - leads to further questions regarding financial behavior. Conclusion: Not recommended (anymore).

The food was very tasty and the portions are very large. Only the service is a bit slow. You don't really have the option to order anything other than the beer that's placed in front of you. You have to actively stop the waiters if you want something else. We also had to wait a long time for food.

The brewery on the triangle looks a bit inconspicuous from the outside and only has a few tables outside in summer. Inside there is plenty of space for larger groups as well as a bowling alley in the basement. With the brick arches in the interior, you feel like you're in a Mediterranean tavern. However, the decoration consists of many devotional items from Fortuna Düsseldorf: jerseys, scarves and a large F95 wall logo. Good to know: Further back, the Brauhaus am Dreieck offers another room with a screen where you can watch Fortuna Düsseldorf games. The service is quick and friendly, but the most important thing about a brewery is of course the beer - and that's delicious here, because Uerige Alt (currently 2.0 for 0.25 L) is served. It's always worth taking a look at the daily menu. Mondays, for example, are schnitzel day and all schnitzel dishes only cost 10.90 euros. For the same low price, I got the ultra-tender pork chop with fried potatoes and salad on a Wednesday. I can also recommend Himmel und Ähd (11.90 euros).

Great traditional German food and the only place that opens at 11am on a Sunday! The food took a bit long (which is expected, since we were the earliest and only guest at this hour). But overall, it was a good experience!

This is how a brewery should be. Great food, good drinks and nice service. We felt like we were in good hands as a group.

Stopped here today by chance. We got a seat straight away, drinks and food were there in no time and the delicious, hearty food was good in the cool autumn weather. The only disadvantage was that no credit card was possible for payment. Next time we are prepared for it and would like to come back again.

After several visits during the EM 2024 and a few Fortuna Düsseldorf games, all of which will be broadcast live here, I have to clearly state that we are dealing with a solid district restaurant pub. The beer (Altbier) is always and regularly delivered automatically. That's how you want it to be. The operation is attentive and robust. The price of the food has been adjusted in 2024, but everything has remained within reasonable limits. I had already tested different dishes and none of them were a complete failure. Everything is very solid and there is an open, friendly atmosphere at the Fortuna games. A clear recommendation for me.

Went to this brewery for the first time for the public viewing in the back room. We were the first guests and immediately ordered something to eat and drink. At first we were left to sit in the dark for a long time! The subsequent asparagus order was a mistake! The asparagus didn't have much flavor, which the kitchen couldn't help with, but it was lukewarm, which was probably the kitchen's fault! The hollondaise sauce was more like a curry mayonnaise! Pork fillet, 2 mini pieces, also lukewarm and very dry! The “jacket potatoes” were so big that some had to be cut away! Honestly we ate it because we were hungry and the game was about to start...it's our own fault!! All the other food, schnitzel variations, etc. around us looked and seemed to taste excellent. We were really looking forward to eating asparagus, but we were disappointed! At least the drinks supply went very well!

You can drink beer there. Nice, quick waiters. Traditional beer on tap, food average. Football location.

Das bestellte Schnitzel sah zunächst sehr ansprechend und einladend aus. Es zeigten sich jedoch zunehmend erhebliche Mängel. Schnitzel und Salat waren gegen Null gewürzt, deshalb fad und geschmacklos. Der Salat (Kopfsalat, Rucola, Mais, Bambussprossen) zeigte zum Teil schwarze sowie faulige Stellen und war mit einem Dressing aus der Fabrik lieblos übergossen. Die harten Pommes wiesen stellenweise einen hellgrünen undefinierbaren Farbabstrich auf. Das Schnitzel schmeckte aber von allem - bis auf die künstliche Paprikasoße - noch am besten. Gott sei Dank war Montag, sodass das Gericht gegenüber anderen Tagen um 5 Euro günstiger als Tagesgericht angeboten wurde. Auch so war der Preis von 13,99 EUR für die miserable Qualität mehr als überteuert. Es wäre schön, wenn sich die Küche die Kritik als positiv gemeinte Anregung zu Herzen nehmen würde.

Was there again. Visited regularly 10 years ago, now only sporadically. Food is still ok, Uerige of course anyway. You don't have high expectations, and the "Brauhaus" atmosphere is more marketing than reality. But you also have to stay honest: If you want a “Brauhaus”, go to one of the breweries in Düsseldorf’s old town. If you simply want home-style cooking at moderate prices and quick, cold Altbiers, you can also try BAD. So: visit!

We were there in a large group. Everyone liked the food, the service was very friendly, although it seemed a little reorganized in some places, but that wasn't so bad (we waited 20 minutes for drinks, for example - it wasn't full) There are a lot of dishes to choose from, there is something for everyone 👍 Price performance is okay here. Overall, it is recommended and we would come again 🙂👍

We had reserved a table until 8 p.m., so pressure was put on us right from the start, and at some point the waiter looked at his watch every time he came near us. The table was probably already given away from 7:30 p.m. He spread an uncomfortable atmosphere throughout and at 8 p.m. we were 'evicted' from the place so rudely that my mood was pretty much in the basement at first. The food was delicious, but it doesn't make up for the uncomfortable service.

Food was very tasty, I had schnitzel with fries and salad, the portion was decent and delicious 😋 Ambiance in the Brauhausstiel. Service friendly, you feel comfortable!

Unfortunately my experience wasn't all that great. At lunchtime at 12:00 p.m.: There is a table occupied by two people in the restaurant. The restaurant is dark, only the counter was lit, the rest of the restaurant had to be illuminated with the weak daylight that tried to penetrate through the small windows. The toilets also had no artificial light. The perceived ambience is not that of a brewery but rather of a cellar dungeon. The waitress was a young man, extremely accommodating and very polite. Our food didn't correspond to the information on the menu but it tasted ok. No hammer dish is edible. I would choose an alternative next time.

The food is delicious and the atmosphere is fitting for a brewery. You should just estimate in advance how much you have to pay. We were ripped off when paying. When we did the math, we realized that we paid €10 more - by the way, there was no bill either! ;)

Netter Service, gute Schnitzel, vernünftige Preise

Laut, Tütensaucen, lange auf das Essen warten. Nur Bier, das geht schnell.

War heute nicht gut, Kellner sehr stark verkaufsorientiert, liegt's an der Umsatzsteuer Erhöhung? War immer gerne da, aber nach heute gibt's wohl erstmal eine Pause.

Gemütliche Lokation. Zwar ein wenig laut, aber gemütliche Atmoshäre. Das Essen schmeckt durchweg gut. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis, om Vergleich zu anderen Lokations, stimmt. Es gibt besondere Tagesangebote und eine gute Auswahl am Speisen. Ein Besuch lohnt sich.

Naja, Service war bemüht, aber nie wirklich auf der Höhe des Geschehens. Essen ist deftig, okay aber auch nichts Besonderes. Ambiente: Viel Holz, wenig Inspiration oder Kreativität, also eher rustikal, okay.

Wir waren dort zum Bowling. Bahn ist nicht die allerbeste, Balls auch nicht (Löcher zu klein). Nur just for fun!

Wir waren dort und Fortuna spielte. Das Brauhaus war knallevoll und die Stimmung super. Der Service hat hervorragend geklappt und auch das Essen war sehr lecker. Ein toller Abend in einem guten Lokal.

Man muss ja erstmal bedenken, dass es ein Brauhaus ist und kein Nobel-Restaurant - und Brauhaus bekommt man auch. Schnell steht ein lecker Bierchen auf dem Tisch. Trotzdem ist auch das Essen wirklich lecker, die Portionen von der Größe schön, die Preise überraschend günstig und die Atmosphäre echt kuschelig-nett. Wir sind mal zufällig hier gelandet und besuchen das Brauhaus seitdem regelmäßig. Für mich eine klare Weiterempfehlung. Allerdings sollte man als Gruppe vorher reservieren - es war nie leer, als wir dort waren.

Gemütliche Kneipe, das beste Bier!!

Ein Bier aus einer Hausbrauerei. Ein Industriepils, ein Industrieweizen und das war es. Für ein Brauhaus etwas dünn. Die Bratkartoffeln der Gerichte waren kalt. Mag vielleicht regional üblich sein, für viele von uns ( waren mit 18 Personen dort) war es mindestens komisch. Bebienung nur bedingt blickig.

Waren gestern mit der Firma da. Bowlingbahn ok aber das bestellte Essen war ne Zumutung 4 Teller mit überwiegend Gemüse . für zusammen 280€ , finde ich ne Frechheit.Nicht zu empfehlen, zumindest nicht auf der Bahn.
