Burger King - Neumarkt in Köln

Horrible. There's constant dirt on the second floor, no one cleans, and it's stuffy. I pooped in the hands of the person who took my order. The potatoes were scattered all over the packaging, and the burgers were sloppy, even though I'd ordered takeout from the restaurant.

The food is not tasty. The potatoes are not good. The sauces are very warm. It is very hot in the restaurant. Everyone is constantly sweating. We ordered food in the restaurant and everything was packed in a bag so that everything fell apart. It is terribly dirty!!! I have never been to such dirty restaurants! The tables are dirty, there is garbage everywhere, we made a comment to which they said "ok" and did nothing. If it weren't for the Naruto promotion, we wouldn't have gone here. The bottom.

They cheat customers and laugh in their faces. They pretend to forget to put something in, but they do it on purpose! And caramel doesn't dissolve in cold coffee, by the way! And it's very dirty.

We received our food quickly. My little one still got a nugget to pass the time while we waited, as well as a small sampler of ice cream for dessert. The employee was very friendly #Mash

The Burger King looked solid from the outside as I fancied a hamburger and ordered one at the cash register. The person there was OK. They shouldn't have really told me that the counter was sticky all over before I got there, but it was OK. I paid quickly, but unfortunately I had to wait at least 10 minutes for a normal hamburger. That's a long time for fast food. The people responsible for folding the bags always tried hard, sometimes a little clumsy, but still OK. In contrast to the people in the kitchen, they were haphazard, without a concept, listless, and didn't work particularly quickly. I hope they work hygienically there. Finally finished after 10 minutes. The hamburger was freshly prepared and the taste was as always, but only 2 stars because 10 minutes for a hamburger is a no-go.

I was here recently at Neumarkt and had a good experience. The staff was friendly and my order was delivered quickly. My burger was freshly prepared and tasted good. The place was reasonably clean, although it can get a bit crowded during peak hours and on weekends. A solid place for a quick burger, but nothing exceptional.

Yesterday, I ate at the Schildergasse branch with my family and spent around €60 there. Unfortunately, our visit was overshadowed by a highly inappropriate and disturbing incident. When I went to use the restroom afterward, I was stopped by three dark-skinned men outside the restroom area who demanded €1 for use. I simply didn't have any change on me and politely asked for their understanding – but instead of accommodating them, they became loud, insulted me, and verbally harassed me. One of the men even followed me back into the dining area and to the exit. This behavior was aggressive, intimidating, and absolutely unacceptable. The idea that guests should even pay to use the restroom in a restaurant where they have already eaten is questionable to me anyway. Combined with the demeanor of these people, it almost seems like a kind of organized intimidation. For my family and me, this was definitely the last visit to Burger King. I hope other guests are aware of what to expect at this branch – and I hope the company urgently reviews the conditions under which the sanitary facilities are “managed” there.

I'm truly at a loss for words. You're not even allowed to wash your hands before or after eating without paying a single euro! If you don't have cash, you're not allowed to use the bathroom. Not even children! The cleaning staff is insistently demanding your euro! If you ask the staff on site, they just shrug their shoulders! Everyone is super stressed out, especially since no high-ranking guests can pay! This whole thing is absolutely unacceptable!

The staff is unfriendly and doesn't respond when you talk to them. The toilet costs extra, which isn't right. If I spend money on food here, I have the right to use the toilet without paying. That's the case in every store. Best regards

Today, we were visiting from the Baltic Sea with two small children in the beautiful city of Cologne. We quickly stopped by Burger King this evening to pick up some fries for the road. We received a very friendly and warm welcome from employee #Mash, who made the children laugh again and even gave them a treat with a Burger King crown and chips! The children were delighted, and it made the wait for their food easier and, of course, helped to ease the bad mood that evening. Many thanks to the wonderful employee Mash!

After using the bathroom, I wasn't hungry anymore. Maybe we should replace toilet seats altogether.

Extremely unfriendly restroom attendant who immediately yells at you and barely speaks German. It took me ages to finally understand him. He insisted on paying 1 euro for the restroom, even if you're eating there. It also took the other employees a long time to understand the problem. When I go out to eat, no matter where, I expect to be able to use the restroom, and if it costs a few cents, that's fine, but I won't let myself be yelled at! The Sprite tastes like sparkling water!

The large fries are the small ones. The burgers are also understuffed and don't look very tasty. My impression is that they're cutting corners here, and you don't get what you pay for. Keep looking!

Here is good and fast service. It is so center for city. They are working until late time so it is better for after party 😈 Always hot and tasty food.

The two African employees next to the restrooms saw me coming, and when I tried to go in, one of them stood up and blocked my way, demanding that I give him the tip. AS A PAYING CUSTOMER! That's extremely rude. You don't ask for tips like that, and you don't ask for them before entering the restroom either!!! PLEASE HAVE A TALK TO THEM ASAP!!

Nice wee burger king in the middle of the city's neumarkt shopping street. Staff are friendly and helpful. Toilets are clean and have an attendant. Burgers are a bit over sauced but still tasty.

What's with the random guy with a handwritten sign asking for money to use the bathroom? He was shouting at everyone and the staff didn't care. The tables were dirty and service was really slow, even with few orders in. Food was fine.

Honestly, I don't know what some people's expectations are for a Burger King. It's not a luxury restaurant after all. Plus, this one is located in the middle of Schildergasse - a very busy place where many people just want to grab something quick. You shouldn't expect everyone to treat you kindly if you insult people like they're a running bull. And yes, sometimes you have to wait a few minutes - but that's the price of keeping the store busy. If the wait is too much for you, you might want to think twice about whether you're really ready to spend 15 minutes of your supposedly special life right here. Anyway: the food was okay, the staff too - I'm satisfied. Just like any normal person with realistic expectations of a Burger King. Slay Queen keep it up 😝

I was a guest in one of your branches today where I ate. When I then wanted to use the toilet, an employee or an external supervisor pressured me in an extremely intrusive manner to pay 1 euro to use the toilet. In my opinion, the behavior was completely inappropriate - the tone was rude and the way the amount was demanded seemed like a real scam. In a restaurant like Burger King, I expect respectful interaction and no such treatment of paying guests. I ask you to take this matter seriously and consider appropriate steps. Such behavior damages your company's reputation and is unacceptable for customers.

Unfortunately, cold burgers despite being busy. Very dirty at 1:00 p.m. Then the toilet came after we ate €1 per person despite the cheese note. Very unfriendly man at the toilet entrance. A receipt couldn't be obtained, so the money went straight away. He put one euro in his collection box and the other went straight into his trouser pocket, which looked well filled. I hope they do something about it.

Outrageous, you have to pay €1 per person for the toilet. And with my menu I had to pay extra for my mayo even though it was included. Incompetent staff who try to rip off customers at every opportunity.

Back again after x years. The ordering machine wasn't working properly. It took an extremely long time to even order anything, and then no receipt with the order number came out. They just handed out the food without me having to show it anything. And then there was zero sauce on it. I complained, but they shrugged their shoulders. That was all. That's all the folks...

They were delayed in delivering, there were a lot of customers, and sometimes they deliver orders that come later first. I also think the portions should be larger for the price.

Two strange men at the entrance to the toilet started demanding €1 in cash from me, even though I was a visitor to the establishment and had paid for lunch there. Unfortunately, I don’t speak German well, I’ve just started learning it so I don’t know all the words and switched to speaking to them in English. They said that I had to pay €1 because I was a guest. I said again that I had paid for the food at the establishment and had the right to use the toilet. They continued to say that I had to. The orders come out as they want, you can eat at the premises and they give you take away, they forget the sauces, closed bathrooms, closed upper floor. Unfriendly and poorly trained staff.

50 people have placed their order and they don't let them go up to the second level to sit down and eat. Only 4 tables at the entrance were occupied. Plus slow service. The worst burger in my life and look there are many in several countries.
