Burger King in Köln

I went to Burger King last week and ordered churros. While they were being prepared, I saw an employee, who usually only takes drive-thru orders and handles a lot of money, touch my churros without gloves. To be honest, I found that very unhygienic and quite disgusting. I expect a restaurant to handle food carefully and hygienically. I hope the team will be more careful about this in the future.

Good, but very slow; they should prioritize peak hours.

The employees apparently can't read the order from the display. And if you want to be ripped off, you should buy something there, because something's always missing from the order. #SkilledWorkers

Everything's fine - everything's warm!

The product standards vary each time. Sometimes they're made according to BK standards, sometimes they're the budget version. I have no idea what the employees here are working with.

The spotlights were very bright when you were sitting in the restaurant. The chicken wings were very spicy and too crispy.

Burger was made so fast and so tasty

The food was hot and came quickly. Unfortunately, when we ordered, they didn't take into account that we wanted a refund. We paid the deposit and still didn't get one. That's really annoying. We got our money back after asking.

The order is immediately marked as ready for pickup, so you have to wait patiently until the food is actually ready. They demand money for the toilet, which needs to be repaired.

I'm very happy with the Burger King Holweide! 🍔 The food is always freshly prepared and tastes absolutely delicious. The burgers are especially juicy, and the fries are crispy. The staff is friendly and helpful, and orders are quick and easy to place. The branch is also clean and tidy, and you feel at home. A big thank you and kudos to Karim, she does a great job. I always enjoy coming here and can highly recommend Burger King!

August 15, 2025: I ordered twice at the self-service kiosk, but at the end of the order, I still received a price adjustment of €2.50. The receipt also states the price adjustment. Why?! 50 cents for using the restroom, despite ordering. So, do you have to pay or eat with dirty hands? Why? The quality of the food is also poor; the salad is dry, the fries are very salty, impossible to eat. I can't recommend this restaurant.

Unfriendly staff, dirty restrooms, and all the tables were greasy. And I was there around lunchtime. There wasn't much to do. I had to find a reasonably clean table first.

As a customer, I generally expect to be able to use the restroom for free at a restaurant or fast food joint. Here, there's a person permanently stationed in front of the restroom, expecting 50 cents. This has been annoying me for years. The operator should urgently rethink this concept. The food is fine so far.

This Burger King is really great

They charged me 80 cents instead of 50 and didn't even put it in the cash register. When I asked for 20 cents back, they looked at me with contempt; their staff was very poor.

They should hire German staff who actually understand what you're ordering. We got 4 wrong burgers and 2 wrong drinks, and despite asking, they wouldn't exchange them. Very unfriendly. Maybe they should hire staff who actually speak the language. Disgusting bunch.

I've been here several times now, both at the drive-thru and inside as a regular customer. The food is typical Burger King: solid, fast, and tastes as expected. Sometimes it's better, sometimes a bit standard, but overall it's okay. One thing to note: Parking is rather limited, and it can be difficult to find a free spot, especially in the evenings. Nevertheless, I'm quite satisfied; if you know what you're getting into at Burger King, it's fine!

Authentic Syrian falafel. The kind service from the shop owners... A trip back in time to the shops of Damascus. The best falafel in Cologne and surroundings. The staff are very friendly.

Ordered a cheesy bacon double and got a single patty with lots of cheese and bacon. I should have been mad but i was too hungry to get upset about such a trivial mistake. Regardless of the chef slightly forgetting half the damn burgers, I have to admit that was a really tasty burger. Revisit. My mum came over and got a big beef with no toppings. The burger arrived as ordered and she says she enjoyed it more than any burger. I ordered a big king, was pretty amazing. The staff were great and helped us find our way to the outside area to enjoy our meal. Very cool decor too. Burger King is King.

I've been there several times in the evening (around 11 p.m.) and for the second time almost half the order was forgotten. 2 instead of 4 burgers what's the point? This borders on fraud. Do you have to count every salad leaf these days so you can't even trust an order? In addition, instead of 30 euros, you will receive a burger worth 15 euros. That's theft lol. This store is absolutely unacceptable.

You can't expect much from a Burger King. And I'm also satisfied when the food is warm and I receive the correct order. Unfortunately, this store doesn't always manage to fully implement these two points. A small incentive would be to have someone at the checkout who actually speaks German. So fluently so that the person I'm talking to understands what I want. The ordering terminals offer a solution, provided that all four people no longer want to order at the same time.

If you're in a hurry, you can eat well there. I always eat vegetarian burgers, I hope this is the case. Most of the employees are nice and the waiting times are okay.

We were there today. Since we still had a longer journey ahead of us, we wanted to quickly use the toilet. We discovered that the toilet was not in good condition. Toilet paper, soap not available. We then spoke to the employees who assured us that everything would be filled, unfortunately no one came... Another time we experienced an employee throwing rum with citizens and fries in the restaurant. Unfortunately it's more of a habit breaker...next time we'll go to another branch...

If you're just craving a burger, it's OK

So far I have always been largely satisfied. The food is some of the best BK food you will find and the waiting times are also acceptable. Sometimes, for example, when there are concerts or other events nearby, it gets very crowded but otherwise everything is great. Only the parking situation is a bit difficult at times. The location right on the A3 is perfect.

The Burger Kling is what the toilet facility failed. We were there on two different days for a quick stopover. On both days there was no soap, disinfectant and toilet paper in the toilets. The usage should be 50 ct. cost. The toilet paper dispenser (large roll dispenser) is installed too low.

It's just a fast food restaurant

The staff hardly understands you, unfortunately it often happens that you don't get what you order. Unfortunately it happened twice again in the last few days!

The staff at Burger King is not friendly at all. Do not drive your car as Burger King may have your car towed from the park while you eat. Result: 270 euros fine and an unhappy evening.

I would prefer to give zero stars. Is the very last one. We had to wait over an hour and a half for our food and when we asked how long it would take we were blocked by a call. 40 euros are gone and there is still no food. I've never experienced anything like that before. Not recommended at all.
