Located near the motorway. Perfect for a quick fast-food stop. Clean, very friendly, food hot and tasty. Restrooms were also clean. Plenty of parking available. Even though you're supposed to order from the self-service kiosks, the cashier was very friendly and helpful.

Typical BK. Everything was fine as always. I just wonder why it sometimes takes so long. It's the same every time in Hagen 🤣

The burgers, despite being freshly prepared, were lukewarm to cold. The tablet return area was full and needed clearing. Tables also needed wiping, and some weren't even cleared. No receipt came out of one of the ordering kiosks. The restaurant was a complete disaster. What a shame. They used to be so much better.

After a 30-minute wait, I received exactly the water and fries I ordered. The rest of the order was something that had sprung from the imagination of some employee. A complete joke!

I ordered the King's Crunchy Chicken meal. The chicken was rock hard, extremely dry, and completely inedible. I had to throw it away at home. This isn't a matter of taste, but a serious quality issue. After this experience, I will never buy anything from this branch again.

I've never seen such a bad Burger King in my life. The employees are a joke, and if you want to order at the drive-thru, you have to order at the counter where you pay. So, unlike usual, you can't order at the counter beforehand, pay, and then pick up your food; everything has to be done at the final counter, meaning every car has to wait 15-30 minutes. Burger King has completely failed at this location!

I finally went back here after ages. Verdict: Absolutely awful! I ordered fries with chili cheese sauce and a double Whopper to go. First of all, it was freezing cold in the restaurant, all the restrooms were out of order, and there wasn't a receipt roll in the terminal (but none of the staff seemed to care). The fries and sauce were placed upright in the bag, so the sauce and fries ended up all over the other items inside. Great, especially when you only notice it in your car after you've already left. A chip fork or napkins? Forget it. The customer is expected to eat the whole mess from the bag with their bare fingers. And the freebie I ordered at the terminal was wrong, too. I'm definitely never going back here. FAIL.

The toilet was out of service!! The tables were not clean, I had to clean my table myself. I recieved my order after 15 minutes and my friend had to wait more than 20 minutes. I didn't even dare to order Iced coffee after meal because I was afraid to lose extra 15 minutes.

Unfortunately, this is one of the worst Burger Kings I've ever been to. We've been there several times, and there's always something missing when you go through the drive-thru. The burgers also leave much to be desired in terms of quality. I hope this changes.

Waited forever because the terminals and the cash register system were down. Poor service, incompetent. Half the order was missing. After informing the staff, we weren't charged for the missing items, but instead received something completely different that we hadn't ordered. So we had to inform the staff again, and it took a while for the order to be completed. Customers who ordered before and after us had the same experience. And we're talking about a Monday evening; the place was empty. All in all, not recommended. All the burgers were cold, if they were even the right ones, and the staff was completely overwhelmed. The Burger King in Witten does a thousand times better.

This place is awful. I ordered food on the screen. Then I ordered an extra burger with a gift, and they said the gift wasn't included. I showed it to the staff, and they argued with me. Then suddenly they said there were no more gifts/balloons. Then they were rude and snappy. The food looked soggy and was cold. In my opinion, it's very unhygienic since they're working without hairnets or gloves... Oh well...

They take way too long to process an order; you wait the whole time just for two burgers. That's unacceptable.

The Burger King in the Hagen district is the worst. I ordered a burger and waited 22 minutes, which is far too long. They take way too long; don't make that mistake and go to the one in Iserlohn instead.

Hey, that's a great place for a quick bite. And considering it's in Vorhalle, it's still pretty well-maintained and super clean. The new Double Meal could now be ordered from Uber for €31 instead of €48. The meal consisted of a small and a tiny burger, six small chicken nuggets, six tiny cheese nuggets, and a portion of fries. A drink was "forgotten." The photo accompanying the meal shows two Cokes and two orders of fries... At least I got a €4 refund from Uber, but the whole thing wasn't even worth €20. Ordering from a fast-food chain for the first time in many years was definitely the last time; there are many much better alternatives.

I'm currently sitting in the Burger King in Filderstadt, comparing it to my last visit to the one in Hagen. It's like they're two completely different businesses. In Filderstadt, everything that's negative in Hagen is positive. My personal favorite: in Hagen, we waited 50 minutes at the drive-thru. The next time, we went inside, thinking it would be faster. We walked in, saw the annoyed faces of the other customers, and immediately turned around and went right back out.

Never in my life have I had to wait so long for food. Even though they only sell burgers. From ordering to receiving my food, a whopping 92 minutes passed. And there were only 11 people in the restaurant. I like Burger King, but this is unacceptable.

An absolutely unique experience! 💗 I was a little apprehensive after seeing the reviews and hesitated to go. But I was more than pleasantly surprised. I was there on Saturday at 10:30 pm and it seemed quite busy to me. (There were 14 other orders on the monitor.) But after less than 10 minutes, I was able to pick up my order at the front. A blond, stocky young man handed me the order with a broad smile. He coordinated everything while he worked. TOP!!! I can truly recommend this branch to everyone, even though it has negative reviews. The food arrived quickly despite the crowd, was hot, and of high quality – exactly what I expected. I'll definitely come back and look forward to another positive experience.

Worst shift manager ever (a veiled woman over 50). So rude I wanted to leave the restaurant immediately. I understand there are problems with the terminals, but that's no excuse for being unfriendly to customers. I came to apply for a job—I'm more qualified than 99% of the current staff—and the woman even refused to accept my resume, which I had with me. Never again! Better to avoid it altogether or go to KFC, which is only 100 meters from Burger King.

This used to be a great, welcoming Burger King with friendly, young employees who created a really good atmosphere and were incredibly fast. Now, nothing of that remains. The atmosphere is more chaotic than a restaurant. Most of the managers seem overwhelmed; only the big boss in brown usually seems to have everything under control. It's a shame how much the quality and atmosphere have declined – I don't know, something urgently needs to be done. What a pity! My plea: Rehire the teenagers! We don't want a sleepy atmosphere; we want employees who are smiling and in a good mood. Well, I'm still giving it two stars because I remember it being better before.

Went there today, what a joke! This place is a joke. The burgers were cold, and with the kids' meal they just give you a Coke... you order a normal burger and no, they write down the XXL... I don't understand why they don't hire people who know their job and understand what you're ordering.

When I came in, there were only a few people there. I went to the toilet. The toilet was clean, but there was no toilet paper.

Too bad... I agree with the forgotten fries, and the Jr. Whopper was cold... The two stars are only because my kids don't want to work in the restaurant industry because of the constant complaining. They should close down the multitude of stores and concentrate the few good ones. P.S. Yesterday there were more employees than customers there...

An absolutely negative experience – neither service nor customer service! I visited the Burger King branch on Herdecker Straße in Hagen on October 19, 2025 – and had one of the worst customer experiences in a long time. After waiting for over 25 minutes (in a nearly empty restaurant!), my order was only partially served. We ended up returning the entire order because the beer was simply full. What followed was even worse: Instead of an apology or a straightforward refund, the branch and customer service sent me in circles. Despite having a receipt, no refund has been issued to this day – instead, I'm asked to submit bank statements (!). For a fast-food restaurant, this is simply embarrassing and unacceptable. That's not how you treat paying customers. I certainly won't visit this branch again – and I can only advise everyone to go to McDonald's a few meters away. Apparently, service there still works.

Ordered there for the first time yesterday via Uber (the Family Value Pack). The order arrived quickly. However, they forgot to pack a few fries. People work there, yes. Mistakes happen, and that's okay. But parts of the order you paid for simply shouldn't be missing. Two stars are only for the fast delivery (thanks to Uber) and the fact that it was delicious. But nothing should be missing from the order!

I was at the drive-thru today around 5:15 p.m. and was served by a very friendly, competent employee with a black beard (presumably of southern origin). He was extremely polite, attentive, and had a warm smile on his face. I've never experienced such great service at Burger King before! My order was taken perfectly, my special requests were handled perfectly, and everything was delivered in a friendly and complete manner. Huge praise to this employee – many others could really take a leaf out of his book! 👏🍔

Bad service, far too long a wait, and the food is simply abysmal; it tastes like it's from the day before yesterday! Never again in this life will I visit this filthy place! The wait was extremely long, even though it wasn't busy. Burgers were missing from the order, and others were incorrect. The lettuce on the burgers seemed old and tasted unpleasant/stained. The staff also seemed unmotivated and unattentive. For me: never again.

Today, after waiting forever, I wanted to eat something before my dentist appointment, and after about 20 minutes, my food still wasn't ready. People who came much later than me got their food earlier. When I asked what was going on, I was simply told that it would be ready in a minute, in poor German and rather unenthusiastic! I then asked to cancel my order, but someone said I'll still have to wait! So, as far as I'm concerned, I'd better forget about this place!

I don't know if the people who work there earn €2 so they don't feel like working, but first of all, it's almost impossible to communicate because the language barrier is the first problem, and then there's the lack of competence to carry out simple orders. All they do is chatter, no work, everything in slow motion. Three burgers take 40 minutes, and they're cold because someone was too lazy to pack them up and drop them off as soon as they arrived. Sad.

There's always something that doesn't work as it should in a chain restaurant. The franchisee has obviously changed over time, so I think things have gotten better. If you're looking for something to complain about, you'll probably still find something. For example, I have a real beef with the ordering terminals because the software often crashes or the device gives incorrect information about the availability of food, for which the operator of the location cannot be held responsible.

My first visit here and unfortunately also the last ❌🍔. We waited forever for our food ⏳, and when it finally arrived, it was cold 🥶. The fries were at least lukewarm 🍟, but completely unsalted 😕. Everything takes forever, and no order, whether in-store, at the drive-thru, or online, is correct. Recently, we ordered two Whopper meals online and only received the drinks, sides, and sauces. BOTH BURGERS WERE ACTUALLY MISSING!! COULD IT GET ANY WORSE?! Maybe the owner should stop cutting back on staff. This is just embarrassing. If I were Burger King, I'd revoke his franchise license.

I wouldn't go back even if they paid me. I ordered Naruto ice cream and it came without the ice cream sauce. I only got ice cream and Oreo, nothing like it. I ordered a Happy Meal box and it didn't come with a toy. They didn't provide napkins, much less straws. In short, they don't know how to do their job.

We ordered through Uber Eats for the first time, and it was definitely the last time. I can tell you why: something was missing, and apparently, it wasn't the first time. We usually eat there, but even when eating there, you can tell that people aren't in the mood. That's how I feel. Even in the store, I've had to go back to the counter several times because someone forgot something (there were times when it was empty except for 2-3 other people).

Burger King is truly different in every way. It's been open for a while and is completely disorganized. The drive-thru is awful and takes way too long. The service is okay. The interior looks relatively modern. The food looks like it's going to give you a stomachache. When you open the burger, it's all thrown together, with sauce sticking everywhere, hardly any lettuce, and the meat not evenly grilled. I don't know, I wouldn't recommend it at the moment, to be honest. It's very questionable, especially considering the direct competition next door. It's a shame there's no Burger King nearby.

The employees need better training. It took them 35 minutes.
