Burger King in Nürnberg

I'm completely frustrated with this branch. Almost every time I visit, my order is prepared incorrectly, or half the items are simply missing. It seems like no one is seriously checking the orders. For me, this is no longer an isolated incident, but a persistent quality problem. What's particularly annoying is that even simple, standard orders are consistently mistaken, which shows that the internal processes are clearly broken. This is nonexistent customer service, and you leave the store disappointed and annoyed. I've made up my mind: I will never shop at this Nuremberg branch again. The repeated unreliability is unacceptable.

The order arrived cold, and only partially... disappointing.

I ordered a plant-based Big King without onions from a delivery service. An hour later, I received a cold, unidentifiable something that had absolutely nothing to do with the product I ordered, but it did contain onions. This is by far the worst service I have ever received.

This Burger King was a bit dated and not exactly clean. The toilet was awful 🤢 and the floor in the dining area was so sticky you could stick to it. The advertised Christmas ornaments were already gone after two days.

The lady at the drive-thru barely understands a word of German. It was impossible to order anything without repeating myself countless times, and she repeatedly used the wrong coupons. I'm usually very understanding, but this was just too much, sorry!

Stopped on my lunch break and there was a woman with two children already there waiting for food and that was all that was going on. The workers were chatting and laughing and I thought no big deal I have time. Ordered a whopper bacon cheese with an extra patty and cheese with onion rings on the side. After waiting about twenty minutes they called my order number, the lady with the children had received the wrong icecream and was at the counter about that. I had ordered to go and the lady had my food for in restaurant eating on a tray. I was a bit under pressure at this point with no time to relax and eat my food and would have to eat while driving, so I asked her to please pack it that I could be on my way, she apologized and said she was trying to ge quick and didn't realize it was to take out. In my work vehicle I ate the fries that were over salty and hard. Opened my burger while driving and there was no extra cheese or extra patty. Having no time left to wait for these incompetent people tomanother twenty minutes of food I would now be at work the rest of the day hungry and was understandably upset. I went back, parked, asked for my money back and asked how it was that they messed almost every complete thing up. It's BK not a science lab. Would NEVER suggest this location unless you want the wrong food and wait times. Drive a bit further to an actual good BK.

Friendly staff, food was good and attractively presented. But the branch...the worst, dirtiest, and coldest (!!) I've ever been to!

Really bad Burger King. No wonder McDonald's is a thousand times better now. The cashier was unfriendly.

25 minutes in the drive with 4 cars ahead of me. The restaurant is practically empty.

The staff was very friendly, however their language skills were so limited that they couldn't respond to a complaint (not enough sauces were dispensed). Cleanliness was mediocre; of the two Coca-Cola Fredstyle vending machines, only one was working, while the other had many varieties sold out, or the iced tea was already fermented. The ice cube dispenser was also out of order.

Very disappointing! The Burger King restaurant had no heating, and it was extremely cold. It was truly unpleasant to sit and eat there. I will definitely not recommend this location.

Unfortunately, I had an unpleasant experience: The cashier refused to give me my burger until the chef intervened. Fortunately, the chef reacted quickly and resolved the issue immediately. Many thanks to him for his prompt assistance! I'm giving this restaurant two stars only because of the chef, because he's the only reason I like this restaurant at all.

The place was an absolute disaster. Dirty, dirty and broken toilets. Doors were disgusting. Waited 30 minutes for food, for 2 cheeseburgers and 1 fries. Tables not cleared, stained... filthy. Food was okay. Staff completely overwhelmed!!! In summary: Disastrous

We had to wait 45 minutes for food, which was then cold! The staff was completely overwhelmed. Outside, cars were lined up in a huge line at the counter. The Coke was warm!!! Unbelievable. The cleanliness was abysmal. It'll make you freak out...

Burger King Staffelsteiner Straße. On October 3, 2025, we waited from 6:52 p.m. to 7:32 p.m. until we received our food, which we ordered via the on-site terminal. Not bad for a fast-food restaurant. The food was still only lukewarm, despite the long wait, or perhaps precisely because of it. You could almost have built yourself a burger from the tables.

Cleaning and wiping tables isn't really a priority in this store!

Food as always at Burger King, but the atmosphere in the place quickly drives you to the brink of despair. It's constantly ringing at such a loud volume that it distracts you from all your thoughts. The vending machine didn't deliver half of the drinks (like a regular Coke), and the ice cubes didn't work either. It's not that bad, but this ringing is simply insane.

Been there twice, and twice they forgot to put something in the bag. Worst BK in the area.

We went to the drive-thru last night. We waited a bit and then had a super friendly employee at the counter. We were absolutely thrilled. Whether ordering, paying, or receiving our food, it was simply wonderful to be served so incredibly friendly so late in the evening. Otherwise, the burgers were good and everything was perfect.

This burger joint is a disaster! You order, and it turns out half the items are out of stock (e.g., cotton candy for your drink, cheese sauce for your burgers). Plus, you wait 30 minutes for your food. You can't be serious. NEVER AGAIN!

I wanted to buy two Big King burgers: they cost €12.98. I swallowed and bought them. But they were just plain hamburgers! Small, and the taste was forgettable!

This is the worst Burger King I've ever seen. The employees are a disaster! You wait at the drive-thru—where it's supposed to be fast—for over 15 minutes before you're served. Don't go there, people... Eat somewhere else, but not at them.

I want to thank the person at the reception who took my food order. He was extremely kind, polite, and professional, and he made the whole experience very pleasant. It’s not just about the food , but also about the way customers are treated. This man treated me with genuine respect and friendliness, and I truly appreciated it. I am writing this review mainly to say thank you to him — people like that make a big difference!

I'm absolutely thrilled! They were the nicest Burger King employees I've ever met. The food took a little longer, but it tasted amazing. The cook apologized for the slight delay and, like the woman at the counter, was incredibly friendly. Keep it up!

Dirty. ...endlessly long wait times...German is a foreign language there. ...by the time your order arrives, half of it is already cold...complaining is useless. ...no matter if something is missing, wrong, or, as I said, simply cold...no one there understands you anyway. You can get your own drinks from the vending machine. ...but the cooling was broken, and the most popular varieties weren't available. ...if I read the reviews from the last few days, that's probably not just since yesterday. ...Sorry...if it doesn't work out for some reason, but it's always a mess, always dirty, and no matter what you eat, it's really not recommended.

The food was not good, the fries were fried in old oil and the burgers were not fresh.

Absolutely not recommended We went to Burger King in Nuremberg – an experience you can really avoid. We ordered at the cash register, not at the terminal. The place was anything but busy, but it still took over 30 minutes to get our food. I politely asked twice about our order – both times I was just fobbed off. After over eight hours of driving and with another three hours ahead of us, I finally had enough. I wanted my money back to get something to eat somewhere else. But that was apparently not possible because I paid by card – even though I had ordered at the cash register and not at the terminal. A cash refund was refused. Absolutely incomprehensible and outrageous to me. They make me wait over half an hour and then refuse to refund me? So we had no choice but to keep waiting. When the meal finally arrived, we wanted to at least get something to drink – but several varieties from the vending machine were empty. So there was no drink included with the meal. When we went to wash our hands after eating, the soap in the restroom was also empty. Conclusion: A fast-food restaurant that doesn't live up to its name in any way. The service, organization, and condition of the premises were disappointing. I can't recommend this location in the slightest and will definitely not be going there again. I've never experienced anything like it anywhere in the world.

BK is generally not considered to be particularly hygienic, but compared to the other branches, it's okay here.

A fast-food restaurant is actually called that so that ordering and pickup are quick, because the customer is short on time. Fifteen minutes at the drive-thru is a bad joke, especially when Daniel 9 nNggets only serve a sauce. It's especially annoying with a taxi when the driver loses an order due to sluggish service. If we treated our passengers like that, there would be fewer of them. Update 6/29/25: After five pointless minutes at the order line, I pulled up to the drive-thru to order at the window. There's another unattended vehicle in front of me. I've now wasted over fifteen minutes here and haven't even ordered yet. It couldn't be worse.

The staff doesn't speak good German, can't serve you what you want on time, and cooked two hamburgers incorrectly three times. When we thanked them, they let it go. A children's menu was offered without any problems. The chili cheese fries came without cheese. The entire order is a disaster. The boss isn't there; the supposed restaurant manager is the chef, who speaks some German, but only minimally. And he doesn't really know the differences between hamburgers. Simply a disaster. Thank you for this service; it's worth €70, never again 😂😂😂😂

After a visit to the Porsche Center, BK gets fit 👍🏼

I wanted a chili cheeseburger again; I was so looking forward to it. But it's just a copy of what it was years ago. And even though everything is supposedly freshly prepared, the food was only lukewarm. One guest complained about it, but I ate it because I was hungry. Such a shame!

Had great time with family. Our kids love burger king and toys with kids meal. They have variety of vegan things and cheese chilli fries are awesome. This place is quite nice and clean.

I was at the drive-thru (the only one) and the meat was simply forgotten in my burger. Instead of two large fries and a Coke, I just got small fries and a Coke. The staff were nice, but... no words.

The food was okay, but I don't even want to start on the rest. The staff were completely overwhelmed in an empty store, and it took an unnecessarily long time.

We arrived, placed an order, paid, went outside to wait, and when it was time to pick up the order, they closed the doors and said that they were already closed, so in the end, no money, no food.

The lady at the counter was super nice. But unfortunately, the hygiene wasn't great. The rag used to wipe the table smelled really bad.

I ordered a lot at the drive through this evening because I was feeling really bad and needed fast food, and the cashier 901 was the nicest person I had today and now I feel better because he was just so ultra nice :) Big shout out to the ultra mega lovely employee 901 at the drive through <3

I waited 25 minutes for my order - and that was just for 6 chicken wings. There were maybe 10 guests in the entire store. Unfortunately, the waiting time was not at all understandable. The wings themselves were really good, the rest was PAH

Clean, friendly staff but not the fastest

Empty shop, easily 8 employees: after 8 minutes our order is noticed and a discussion begins about the paid receipt being handed over, tables dirty, other parts of the order are wrong - we have to discuss again who is right. The incorrectly prepared ice cream was dumped together and when I left the shop I was harassed and asked to clean my glasses... References to the subterranean service were received with less sophistication and dismissed; the food was thrown onto the tray in an unappetizing manner, just as unkempt as the staff seemed

Good Burgerking and employees were friendly too. Can't complain.

I have to thank the everyone working tonight (11.04.2025; 20:50) at Staffelsteinerstr. 1, Nurnberg. Beside the stress and workload they did a great job! Never seen a friendlier team.

Update: There were three of us with a child who really wanted fries. Must say 180 degree turn. Ordered from the terminals that are now available. The now completely friendly staff came to the table to ask whether there was really an order to go and one to eat on site. It was intentional, but super nice to ask. Brought everything to the table. The drinks machine was explained to me again and even offered to bring them (by the way, there are a lot of drinks there, from Cola Zero raspberry to ice tea in wild varieties! I didn't know before! ☺️) Which really doesn't have to be the case! But super attentive, nice and everything! It was clean, it was tidy, which is not a given in a fast food shop where people can bring their things back themselves. But also the tables were wiped down and a completely different climate. I told the others about my bad review and promised to change it. Ok, a sauce was missing. Maybe you can take a look at it there. As you can see, it's not so bad if the rest just fits! Thank you dear new team, you feel very comfortable and welcome! 10 months ago: Last time I swore to myself that I wouldn't go to this BK again. Unfortunately he was closer and I really regretted it. 😅 As already described, the floor was stuck and everything was dirty and dingy. Unfortunately I only noticed after I ordered. I have rarely experienced such bad service. I don't even know if the guy said anything, he was super bored and almost fell asleep. Sorry I disturbed you while you were chilling. It was the only one when ordering. The food was only lukewarm (I already ate some on the way home) and the burgers were very dry. And when I got home I noticed that not only the salad was missing, but also the sauces I had specially ordered. I was really annoyed and don't understand how a store like this can be allowed to run into such a state of disrepair. He only lives through his situation. So that was it for me, there is still a chance, if only under new management. You'd better move on and find someone else! 🙂

If you want your food quickly and, above all, correctly, you should look for another Burger King. If you are extremely disappointed with your comfort food because the simplest orders are accompanied by sauce... then you went against your better judgment and went to this one.

In one order, the top half of the bun was missing from a burger. With the chili cheese, just a jalapeno and just a hint of cheese sauce. I would only go there if nothing else. Goes. Incredibly bad.

It's just fast food...the king. For quick, high-calorie food..Great:) There's also salad :-D Always available, no need to walk because I drive the car straight to the window and the burger etc. into my throat. The King workers are quite nice there. Sometimes something is missing in the bag but next time this will be compensated with three ketchup sachets. It's on the way to work. I'll be back no question...

My favorite Burger King in Nuremberg. You can always refill your drinks and there is a large selection of different flavors. The store also looks very modern. And you can pay at the machine. :)

Der schlimmste Burger ever: Lauwarm und völlig geschmacklos, wahrscheinlich Mikrowelle. Bacon auch nicht kross. Alles in allem furztrocken und geschmacksbefreit. Im " Menü" 14 Euro for nothing. Nie wieder!!!

I waited half an hour for my ice cream

My order took almost 25 minutes, too long for a fast food restaurant. There were only two menus with Big King and fries. There were 3 other normal orders in front of me - so not exactly busy. The fact that I also have to pour my two drinks myself afterwards (!), although there is nothing else available at a machine apart from Coke (no Zero or Light) and the Coke tastes as if there were still Fanta and Sprite leftovers in the syrup, is what makes it all worse then unfortunately the sad crown comes up.

They have no idea about cleanliness. Ordered then had to wait an hour for the food. The order was ready and the fries were cold and the whopper was cold too. Then I was fed up with the cold fries and the employee told me that if I didn't like it I should go eat somewhere else. That's what I call a very good customer review 🤦. This Citizen King is not recommended.
