Burger King in Nürnberg

It's been over 20 minutes since ordering in the drive-thru, and they still haven't come to the window. People are standing in front of the open door next to the open drive-thru window, smoking... It's definitely nice when you're inside and the smoke wafts in... Employees were friendly but obviously understaffed due to the long wait times. Food was okay.

Worn-out decor, excruciatingly long wait times, and then—who would have guessed given the number of customers waiting?!?—lukewarm fries (the portion consisted of only tiny scraps) and a lukewarm burger... I've rarely experienced anything so strange. And trays of leftovers were piled high everywhere. Worst Burger King I've ever been to.

Obviously poorly managed. Wait time and food were okay. The atmosphere was rundown, not clean, and the air conditioning didn't seem to work (properly). There were handwritten notes on the ordering machines saying they were out of ice cream. I'd rather stop somewhere else for lunch or a snack.

Clean BK a bit warm. What I like are the vending machines, they have some more unusual varieties.

This is truly the worst Burger King in the entire city. The employees only understand you if you repeat yourself ten times, if at all. I have no idea what vegetarian or even vegan means; they simply say "yes, yes, it's vegan," even though that's obviously not the case. But what's really bad (in the truest sense of the word) is: every damn time I make the mistake of getting something here, I feel sick afterwards. It's currently 3:19 AM, I have to work in two hours, and I'm hunched over the bowl because my stomach is rebelling, and it's the same every time! I can only hate myself every time for giving this place another chance. Something has to change; this branch is a complete disaster!!!!

The food and the staff have always impressed me positively over the past two years, but today I unfortunately had to watch an older female employee with blonde hair and glasses shout at the staff in front of the guests. I hope this doesn't happen again.

I go here for a quick bite every now and then. The double chili was great.

I went to Burger King and was completely satisfied! The burgers were freshly prepared, well-topped, and tasted great – exactly what you'd expect. The fries were also crispy and hot, and the food was served quickly.

Until the day before yesterday, I was suffering from severe food poisoning for a week after getting some plant-based long chicken and a portion of chili cheese nuggets from the drive-thru at this BK. After telling many people what I had recently eaten, I was alerted to a documentary by Team Wallraff about BK. I'll just say one thing: If I had seen this earlier, I would have stopped eating at BK long ago.

Long wait times... the place and the kitchen were very dirty... I disinfected my table myself, and afterward, my food was black! This place needs to be closed and renovated! Every time I come, the drinks machine doesn't work properly... no carbonation, and the fermentation is dirty! The staff needs to be treated better...

The burgers have become ridiculously small. The entire restaurant is dirty and run-down. It's not nice here anymore. In our case, even the Coke was out. Even the wait time is a problem—everything takes far too long. This place needs some serious change.

I was at Burger King for the first time in a long time. I didn't see the vending machines, so I went straight to the counter. An employee was standing there looking rather listless, and I waited to be served or spoken to. It lasted a few minutes during which I was completely ignored, without even a "Hello" or "Can I help you?" She then preferred to talk to her colleague instead of saying anything, and I stood there like an idiot. When she then walked away from the counter to refill the paper rolls, I only then noticed that there were vending machines. I then went to the vending machine to enter my order. Then back to the cash register to pay. Then this person again (Etna, I think her name was) said in a tone of voice that they had to pay first and then they would get their food. Then I lost my temper and said she was so rude. "Why?" came the reply, and I said to ignore her first and then address her like that. She could have said "Hello" or "Can I help them." That's not how you treat customers. She clearly missed her job. She then wanted to blame me herself and shifted everything onto me. NOT like that!!! I'm still a customer! Then she'll just get a complaint! It's not even fun to eat there with service like that!

Unfortunately no. One of the worst Burger Kings. One drinks machine is broken and the other is empty. The employees didn't even notice this.

Every time at least 20-30 minutes waiting time - last time even over an hour. You can't blame the employees, some of them rotate. But also the cleanliness - terrible. Never come here again, rather take the detour to Schwabach. Maybe it would help to take a look at the last reviews and make drastic changes here! Edit: It's also great if people who seem to be known personally are given priority and get their food quicker. Would I say what I think…. NEVER AGAIN

Very nice and friendly staff even in stressful situations. Chapeau to the shift manager who was on Tuesday April 29th. He was on shift at around 5 p.m. and despite the small staff and many orders, he was so nice and friendly and still had a smile on his face for every guest

Unfortunately, the experiences you have here are very mixed. Often either the burger or the fries are cold, which is a situation that can be seen in many fast food restaurants in Nuremberg. A real no-go in my opinion. The staff ranges from dissatisfied and slow to super friendly and committed, you should probably work here as well as on the food. Nothing has improved at all, but it's always funny to see how stupid people behave at the self-service drinks machine and every second person shoots a load of ice cream into the cup and then dumps it away. Unfortunately, poor service, cold food repeated. Abel (I think) is a great employee, by far your best

We just ordered via Ubereats. There were 2 items missing, but we were billed for them. Nobody answers the phone at Burger King or Uber. Actually zero stars.

Extremely slow machines. At all other Burger King locations, the machines work extremely quickly!

No BK I know has ever been this bad. Wait 30 minutes for 1 Wopper menu, 1 small fries and onion rings. The drinks are warm and non-carbonated. Fries wobbly and without salt. The poor man in front of us had to go to work but was already standing in line like we ordered. 6 Other orders were made to go even though it had been there for a while. He then asked the MA about it and only got a rude answer. It then took another 10 minutes until he finally had his food!!! I don't even need to start talking about cleanliness, because it didn't exist. The floor was so sticky that you could hear and feel it when you walked. We “wiped” our table ourselves with napkins. All in all NEVER AGAIN! I'd rather go to Schwabach to BK or McDonalds. But something like that no is not possible!!

Juice shop After half an hour I got my money back because I asked how long it would take. Every next customer got their food before me, then it got too much for me. I got my money back without any problems but was insulted badly. FAST FOOD in Nuremberg isn't that fast here

I ran something and have been sitting on the toilet for almost an hour with stomach pain, nausea and ungodly diarrhea. I'm absolutely sure this is food poisoning. I never thought I'd pray in the toilet. Especially because I'm an atheist. I am also absolutely sure that I have excreted the recommended daily amount of 2 liters of water rectally several times. I hope I don't throw up because the toilet is currently occupied (by me) and I would hate to mop the floor today. (Much less after such a horror session). Also, my anus burns like hell. Thank you very much for that, I'll avoid Burger King from now on! I'll spare you photos.

I would like the burgers the way they look on the advertising posters. Namely with processed cheese, which also melts under the appropriate heat. You can forget about the lukewarm stuff. I was here again today, March 25, 2025, and found that nothing had changed. Slightly warmed burgers with unmelted "processed cheese" and warm fries. Very sad.

The colleague at the counter only became quick when his branch manager came to the front and helped, before he was about to fall asleep. Guys, that's not possible, your income is paid by the customer, even if it's poorly paid. The customer can't help it, he just wants to order and eat in a relaxed manner and there's a wait of almost half an hour with two people in front of me who only ordered a burger - a no go. Having to wait 25 minutes for an order with 4 items is a complete disgrace. And that's what fast food complains about. In addition, the opening times on Google Maps differ enormously from reality. Right now, for example, I want to order via Über Eats. Uber Eats delivers 24/7 and BK closes at 11:30 p.m. according to Google Maps. It's now 9:45 p.m. and I can't order because BK is closed. Trotz Kassenautomaten hat unsere Bestellung 40min. auf sich warten lassen. Die Temperatur im Lokal war an die 30°. Ständig kam eine Lieferando Fahrer, was unsere Bestellung noch weiter nach hinten geschoben hat. Für uns ist das leider nichts, wir kommen nicht mehr.

There was little going on and apparently very clean. Unfortunately, our ordering terminal was a total disaster - had a mind of its own and didn't respond to our touch. Unfortunately, the nuggets had (visibly) been on display for a long time and were therefore worn out.

The food came with a normal waiting time. The counter where the food was handed out was dirty, and on the shelf behind it where the burger slide is, the roasted onions were lying next to the boxes. You don't actually want to sit down anywhere because the guests leave their dirt everywhere. Bad enough, but things are rarely cleaned up. By the way, there were only a maximum of 20 guests in the store. Some of the seats are torn. The whole store looks run down. The food was a joke for 14.18 euros. FRIES TOTALLY SMOOTH. Both sauces had to be paid for. The so-called “Premium Burger” was just mud inside due to all the sauce. Because of the dirt everywhere, I just felt like I had to get out quickly and disinfect my hands. I don't even want to know what it looks like behind the counter. REGIONAL MANAGEMENT!! PLEASE change operators and staff and renovate the place. The prices are a complete disgrace for what is on offer. Save yourself comments like we're sorry you weren't satisfied. Change this eyesore for your business. The first “burger shop” when you come to Nuremberg and then something like that. Burger King, in German, king of burgers. If it weren't so disgusting you could laugh. No more! Greetings from a lost customer. 0,000 stars. As you can see from the comments, the problems have been going on for months. I've been waiting for 34 minutes and still have no food. Everyone is completely overwhelmed - the manager is completely clueless and runs around in circles. Wow, that's an imposition! BK Shame on you! - update: after a total of over 40 minutes I got my double Whopper - cold meat, warm salad! Bread was already hard at the bottom! So my Double Whopper waited just as long as I did... Never again - BK I want my 28.27 EUR back!

The two stars are only there because a nice gentleman who understood German and was on the ball worked here at the drive-in for a long time... apparently he is no longer there :-(

Unfortunately I have to express my opinion after yesterday evening. As you can see from the pictures, everything was full of rubbish and there weren't even any trays left for consumption on site because, as you can see, the employees didn't clean it up. So it has piled up even more on top. Which isn't actually an invitation if you go in as a customer. :/ I had to wait 40 minutes for my take-away order :/ (it wasn't a complex 4 burgers and a few finger food items) After 30 minutes I asked what it looked like and whether I already had my cup to fill myself and asked whether I could get a small 2 because we had already been waiting 30 minutes. Customer friendliness etc. but was then coldly told no wow :/ Of course, the food wasn't great either. Parts of the food were cold and burnt, the onion rings, etc. As the previous speakers have already noted, this branch has unfortunately really drifted into the negative in the last few years :/

BurgerKing is BurgerKing, don't have high expectations. However, you always have to wait an incredibly long time here, for a smaller order at least 20 minutes+, no matter how busy. In addition, always sticky floors and overfilled trash cans.

Seriously. They offer burgers that you can only get with the app. I didn't get the weekly special at a reasonable price, nor did I get the One Piece Burger. It's only available with a T-shirt but not in the right size. Happened to me 3 times now. I always go home without a burger. I can also eat somewhere else. Very bad service during the day. That doesn't happen in the evening.

As I was waiting for my order I was told to please leave. The LongChicken tasted more like a LongFish and then I was threatened that the shrimp would come straight away (there are no shrimps here). It's just the next day and I'm sitting on the toilet, I'm not feeling well at all. Never again. But the churros were good.

I ate a cheeseburger and a crispy chicken with fries. Everything was wonderful and tasted good too. But then in the evening I had such extreme heartburn that I kept burping. The finale was that I threw up and ended up having to drink hot lemon tea. Thank you Burger King.

We've been here several times, but it's never been as bad as today. 1. The BK employee tried hard, but it didn't change the fact that she couldn't explain to a customer that vegetarian burgers in the BK are called "plant-based". The customer then ordered a burger with meat, since there were no “veggie burgers”. 2. She also wanted to tell me that the mini size, which fits 4 whole lattice potatoes, would be the largest size. Then I let it go. 3. The chicken nuggets were really disgusting. Like shoe soles. Nothing at all tasted like the familiar nuggets. Maybe it was the Advent calendar special... 4. The cola tasted even more artificial than it always did. Had absolutely nothing to do with Coca Cola anymore. All in all, unfortunately a failure.

Worst one I ever been to. The lady was super rude for no reason. Food was soggy and tasted weird. The fountain drinks had no Carbonation and tastes like syrup. The place was dirty both in the kitchens and in the dining area.

Unfortunately I have to agree with the previous speakers. We wanted to “quickly” get a Coke and a burger. We then stood in line for over half an hour, which doesn't really correspond to “fast food”. On top of that, there was no ice in the drinks machine. When asked, there wasn't enough time to refill the ice cream. At least this could have been pointed out in advance. Half a liter of warm cola isn't exactly what you want. Last but not least, I ordered and paid for a burger with fried onions - but they were nowhere to be found on the burger. The burger wasn't bad otherwise, but unfortunately it didn't do much to compensate for the annoyance of the rest. All in all, the visit reminded me why I usually stop at a gas station quickly to get a (cold!) Coke Zero and why I almost never go to Burger King.

I used to really enjoy visiting this Burger King branch, but now it's a rather frightening impression. I would like to give 0 stars for ambience and service. The seating and tables look impossible and have become completely worn out and neglected over the years. Even though there wasn't much going on during my lunchtime visit, the napkins and straws in the dispensers were empty, the food took a long time and wasn't really tasty. The ice in the drinks machine was also empty. I had actually ordered takeaway, but was ignored by the service staff, so I ended up eating there. A visit is really not recommended, it's best to avoid the branch!

The food was very tasty, it tasted like I was in a psychiatric hospital, I would eat there again and again. The employees were also very foreign, that fits with a Burger King bar, I would recommend it😁😁😁😁

In my entire life I have never experienced such humiliation as today in this branch. I ordered at the DriveIn and wanted to pay with a card, but the card reader didn't work because it always said that there were two cards on display. The employee then tried using my card, but it didn't work either. He then called his manager named Rebin, who restarted the cash register, then asked me if I could pay in cash, which I said no. He then just said to me, “Then go, get out of there.” I replied what was wrong with my food and whether I could at least pay for it inside. He replied in the affirmative, then I drove up. When I was in the branch he loudly insulted me in front of all the other customers that I wasn't allowed to stand there, that I had broken the card reader and that I should run away. After I parked in the regular parking space, I went in again to calmly clarify the matter, then he loudly insulted me again in front of everyone in the restaurant that I had broken the device and that I should leave now, he was so angry and rude that I had the feeling he was about to grab me and pull me out. When I replied that this was no way to deal with customers, he just explained that he didn't care because he had been there for 20 years and could do whatever he wanted... This way of dealing with the manager Rebin is really the last thing, and according to the other reviews there is always trouble with him. I'm still in shock.

It's very sad that they discontinued Vegetarian Country Burger 😔

The Burger King used to be good, but now, like all BKs, it is run down and dirty, with listless, unmotivated staff, poor service and burgers that are so shrink-flatted that they fit into the hollow tooth.

Self-service drinks. One of 2 machines doesn't work. You pay for coke but don't get it. Just with some flavors that no one likes. The toilets smell awful and cleaning the dining area is not a priority for the staff

Everything here is warm and fresh, the shop is always busy, so allow for some time. Staff very friendly despite stress.

Burgers are better than McDonald's, obviously none of this food is good for you but a standard whopper is the normal choice and is good.

Long waiting time, high prices, many drinks not available and last but not least, the food was cold and the sauces ordered (and paid for!) were missing from the bags. We don't come here anymore 😕

What can you say, the introduction of the touch order boards have accelerated the order acceptance process, now you wait even longer than before for the food to be served. The staff is helplessly overwhelmed with the orders. The taste of the food is fine, as expected from BK. If the machine for mixing drinks wasn't there due to the waiting time, I wouldn't choose the BK anymore. Sometimes you get your food already cold because it has been on display for too long. I am a regular customer here and am describing the average experience over several visits. Not just about one person.
