I know Five Guys from Canada and was in the Nuremberg branch for the second time. The burgers tasted good, but were a bit dry. In my opinion it is because the meat, unlike anything I know, was already cooked and kept warm. You could already see that in the open kitchen. I know from Canada that the meat is only freshly fried when you order. You have to wait a bit, but that's what the peanuts are for. And you then get a fresh, juicy burger. Otherwise it was good.

I went to see the Five Guys again today. I have to adjust my rating. From 4 down to 2 stars, just because of the price. That's really a disgrace. It was my first time at Five Guys. My first look at the menu shocked me. €10.20 for a cheeseburger in a burger chain? I'm sorry, what? However, I went to the counter and then “configured” my burger. Ordered a large portion of fries (for €6.75) and a drink. This resulted in €20.85. Almost €21 for a burger with fries plus a drink. This is really intense. But what can I say? The food tasted really good, even if the burger was hard to eat without making a massive mess on the table. The star deduction is for the unjustified price and the uninviting atmosphere. It was worth a try, but this definitely won't be my regular burger joint. It's nicer and cheaper.

Had hamburger, taste was convincing and quality too. I have rarely eaten such good citizens. But the staff was friendly and competent

It was the first time I ate at this chain and I have to say it was excellent. The prices are a bit high but it is understandable. I gave 3 stars because the clerk was not able to speak a single word of English making the conversation uncomfortable.

Of course I also have to say that the prices are a bit excessive. If the taste had blown me away and the prices had matched, then the rating would of course be different. It's not a total failure. Hence 2 stars instead of just one. But unfortunately it really wasn't enough to visit the restaurant a second time. There are definitely better burgers in the city for the money. It's just a little hype that spilled over to us.

Overpriced undercooked burger, fries rescued the food to 2 star, as well the unlimited drinks, staff comes lazy and uninterested. Only once experience.

For a quick dinner, the place was recommended by a friend. The double-fried chips and their spicy sauce are good; the hot dog that is found on the site with beef was indicated to me as not being there. I tried the milkshake with banana, biscuits and salted caramel for the first time, tasty and delicious. The environment is very much influenced by the American style of fast food but the thing I least liked was the smell of fried and roasted food that was throughout the place.

Atmosphere terrible, the music is terrible, and you have to eat out of the foil with your fingers and look like a pig afterwards. I like doing this because the burgers are absolutely amazing and make me happy! 5 Stars!

On July 28th, 2024, the four of us ordered 4 small fries from the Nuremberg branch at Karolinenstrasse No. 13. When we ordered, we kindly asked if someone could please clear and clean a table outside, which they promptly agreed to do, because we certainly don't want to snack inside when the weather is nice. Then we paid €21 (that's what you get in Belgium for real fries, fried in beef fat...) for 4 small fries with Cajun seasoning and wanted to provide ourselves with ketchup and mayonnaise. Unfortunately, the latter was out, and a bowl with small packets of mayonnaise was placed at the counter instead of changing the bucket. From an environmental point of view, it's not exactly exemplary if you have to throw away 6-8 aluminum packages, right? Especially since the purchase price of the small packages is significantly higher than the large bucket, which is also commercially unwise. On this occasion, a second request was made to clear and clean a table, which was again answered in the affirmative. Who wants to eat at a dirty and littered table? We sat outside for a total of around 30 minutes and chatted - but no attempt was made to clean up the outside in any way, all the tables were littered with rubbish by the time we left, and the rubbish bin at the entrance was also overflowing. All the chairs flew all over the terrace... see pictures. During this time, several couples and small groups walked past Five Guys, making fun of how it looked here and not wanting to consume anything here = loss of sales included. By the way: The presentation of the fries was subpar: 4 x fries in a paper cup (!) in a brown paper bag, very unappetizing. The fries were soggy. See image. Even if there was a meeting of bards in Nuremberg: There were 4 or 5 employees behind the counter, there was very little going on (you can certainly understand that based on the sales figures at around 9:30 p.m.) and the overall impression of the store on Karolinenstrasse was really poor at that time. Why couldn't any employee comply with our request for a clean table? Must be the worst 5 guys in the world . Mixed my order up, made me a new one, but tried to give the burger I had opened to the lady I was mixed with . Chips were very cardboard , not fresh chewy/crispy bit like those fries to go microwave ones.. when I got my new burger the cheese was cold on it , and bun not toasted

Delicious hamburger, lots of side options and best of all, they're free! the drink is 100% free refill, you can try all the flavors of fanta, coca, they don't catch your attention. The potatoes are very good, you order just one large potato and they fill a 750 ml glass just with potatoes for you, and even more in the bag. the milkshakes are very good too. the atmosphere was a little dirty but classic burger restaurant.

Were there for the first time. According to various YouTube testers at the Five Guys restaurant, expectations were high and were somewhat disappointed when it came to the taste. Too little sauce and too dry. The taste of the fries was only average. It is a better Burger King because the ingredients are fresh, both the meat and fries are homemade, just like homemade at home. Unfortunately the ambience is not to my taste, too much like a canteen. Looks like a warehouse. I would prefer another burger restaurant, it also tastes better.

If you're hungry, Five Guys is the place to go. The burgers are huge, with two beef patties, and you can choose whatever toppings you want from a long list, including tomatoes, lettuce, onions, fried mushrooms, pickles, relish, BBQ sauce and more. Items like bacon and cheese are an extra charge. They also have "little" burgers which I believe have a single patty. And the beef patties are always fresh and made daily. No matter what size fries you order, they always throw an extra scoop into the bag. The burgers are delicious and you'll leave full. Didn't try the shakes.

First of all: it is important for allergy sufferers to know that this shop uses a lot of peanut products. In my opinion, this is not communicated clearly enough given the potentially life-threatening consequences. I can't really judge whether the hype that many reviewers are citing here still exists. When we were there (Monday around 1:00 p.m.), it was very empty and we were able to order straight away. The prices are quite high compared to the (supposed) competitors. However, this is quickly put into perspective when you look at the portions and the quality of the food: the "normal" burger comes with two fresh, frozen patties and is generously garnished with lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, mushrooms (!) and sauces. The fries really more than live up to their reputation, are cut on site and fried with peanut oil. In terms of taste and appearance, it cannot be compared to anything from the competition. You draw your own drinks (with free refills) from the Cola Freestyle machines. Evaluating the service is relatively difficult, as there is practically no concept. Apart from taking the order and preparing the food, the employees don't actually do anything; it's just a fast food restaurant with the down-to-earth flair of an American diner. If you can get used to it, you can get very tasty burgers and fries here at a high but reasonable price - but not much else beyond that.

The food is delicious and also plentiful. The ambience is just like a fast food restaurant. At peak times, there is a lot of staff busy preparing food, but the tables sometimes remain untidy for longer. Some of the staff talk very loudly.

Not bad and not good, so three stars are very appropriate here. You can't go wrong going here, but you can also find better.

Five Guys in Germany, or in Nuremberg, cannot be compared with the hype that exists (partly) justifiably. The ambience and restaurant is typical 5Guys - although in NBG better ventilation should perhaps be considered. Some chip fat and a burger smell are to be expected - but if your eyes water while waiting for the burger... well The important thing - the burger. For the price of 13€ cheeseburger - unfortunately the taste was extremely lukewarm and mediocre. Size, ingredients and look as you would expect from other countries - but unfortunately the meat was extremely poor. Hardly any / no taste, even though freshly fried. Here you can only assume the quality or selection of the meat/minced meat is simply not the same as elsewhere. Fries were good, but nothing outstanding. MamMam offers more in terms of taste.

So Five Guys is and remains the best fast food chain in terms of quality. The burgers can be put together individually, the fries are really freshly made and there are all sorts of self-service drinks.

Highly recommend getting the fries while you're there, they're 100x better than McDonald's

First of all, and most people agree on this, the burgers are good. You can create your favorite burger with the toppings. However, they also have their price. There are also no menus, so you have to order each component (fries, drink) individually. This means that a menu comparable to the Big Tasty Bacon costs a good 50% more. Personally, I don't find the atmosphere appealing either. Had more of a subway station than a diner. Service is non-existent except for the order. You get a drink yourself and you take a paper bag with your food at the reception. I don't understand why the food isn't at least offered on tablets.

Last Sunday I went to Five Guys in Nuremberg for the first time. The employee there was really friendly and explained to me in detail how to order there, since it was my first time. When I asked her why the prices are higher for a fast food burger, she explained that everything is made fresh, every morning. And the meat is specially supplied from Ireland and prepared with great joy so that the guests have a special taste experience. The fries are also supposed to be freshly cut and fried in peanut oil, I didn't know that beforehand. Conclusion: The burgers are really juicy and taste great, and the fries are definitely the best I've ever eaten. I was even persuaded to try a shake and that was definitely the highlight.

Sorry guys, the prices are too high. In the USA, burgers and fries are made for ordinary citizens. The taste is similar to In and Out Burger in the USA. But a cheeseburger menu costs half as much as yours. Remember that you sell fast food. You are not a restaurant. P.s MC Donald and Co, I have the same opinion. Burger shop / fast food joint. Employees are friendly and try to keep the store running. Bacon in my burger was already black and very small pieces, almost all of them fell out, which was good (because it was almost charred). Burger patties and sauce were good, fries were good too. Ambience simple and functional.

Open almost 24/7. One of our son's favorite places.

The burgers are impeccable. Not the best but well above the level of the typical competition with the M and the B. The size is fine. The ingredients are quite fresh. Likewise the frieze. Delicious. The shop is beautifully set up and is very reminiscent of a classic burger shop in California. Unfortunately, the prices are absolutely unacceptable for me personally. I paid €26.50 for a burger, fries and shake at lunchtime. This is clearly too much. In the evening I like to pay this in a location that invites you to linger but not in a nice but still typical fast food burger joint.

It's ok... When the chips are fresh and the burger is made well, it can really hit the "fast food" burger spot just right. But when the chips are cold, soggy or dry and the burger is a mess then it becomes a bag of disappointment. Very hit and miss.

This is my husbands favorite burger joint and we made the trip and were not disappointed. Burgers are juicy and delicious, fries are thick cut and perfect, you get a very generous amount for a little order, just like in the US. The place is packed and it can be difficult finding a spot to sit down but thats to be expected. Bathrooms are clean.

Friday 1 p.m., the shop wasn't even half full, the tables were dirty. Garbage problem with aluminum, paper, napkins, disposable cups and everything on disposable concept without separation. Something like that is no longer up to date. Everything is made in peanut oil, no allergy information on the counter, the employees were only able to tell me this after 5* specific questions. The bacon burger was stacked really badly and kept falling apart. For €13.50 a disgrace!!

Super fresh, delicious burgers and fries. The drinks machine offers a very large selection of drinks. The staff is also motivated and you get a smile in return. Free Refills' offering of beverages is generous, however the user experience of the beverage machines was disappointing. Overall, the restaurant offers an interesting concept and a pleasant atmosphere, but there is room for improvement, especially in terms of the taste quality of the food and the usability of the facility.

Totally disappointed, there is no relationship between taste and price, they are expensive, you have to buy the fries separately and the smallest one costs 5 euros... The burger itself has no flavor... only the toppings that you can add save a little, but nothing, it's not worth paying more than 40 euros for two burgers and some fries...

Sandwich for 7€ was just an upside down burger bun, little on it, cold and my girlfriend got sick from it in the evening. My burger was better, but also cold (as were the fries) and definitely too expensive at €13. Tables were only partially clean.

Ich war das erste Mal bei Five Guys. Als Vegetarier kann man diesen Ort definitiv nicht empfehlen. Wirklich jede Fast-Food-Kette bietet mittlerweile Burger mit plant based Patty an, was hier nur durch ein Sandwich ohne Patty "befriedigt" wird. Dieses fliegt beim Essen allerdings einfach nur in seine Einzelteile auseinander. Die Preise sind sehr teuer und es gibt auch keine Option, ein Menü zu nehmen, außer sich die Komponenten einzeln zum jeweils vollen Preis zu bestellen. Dadurch lag das Menü mit dem Veggie-Sandwich, dem Getränk (immerhin free Refill) und den Pommes bei 16,30€! Die Pommes waren tatsächlich noch schlechter und labbriger als die von McDonald's, auch wenn sie ja teilweise so hochgelobt werden. Nachdem meine Nummer aufgerufen wurde und ich nicht auf Anhieb aufgestanden bin, wurde ich zudem noch recht unfreundlich von der Kassiererin behandelt.

Heute das erste mal bei Five Guys in der Nürnberger Innenstadt gewesen. Ich muss sagen, wir waren begeistert. Die Pommes der absolute Hammer genauso wie die Burger. Man darf nicht vergessen, das es ein Fast Food Lokal ist. Alles ging schnell und war lecker. Wir kommen wieder 👍🏼

Waren heute das erste mal dort - haben es nicht bereut! Super lecker die Burger, Pommes und auch der Milchshake! Ich kann es nur empfehlen. Auch alle super freundlich - wirkt authentisch. Preise finde ich in Ordnung - wird alles frisch zubereitet und ist kein Vergleich zu anderen bekannten Fastfood Ketten. Da viele auf die Sauberkeit in den WCs hingewiesen haben auch hierzu was - es ist in Ordnung sollte aber öfter mal kontrolliert werden dann ist es auch wirklich perfekt! Vllt ist es ja eine Option eine Reinigungskraft hierfür anzustellen.

Essen ist okay aber nicht super Dafür was man bekommt viel zu teuer ! Und das Essen bekommt man in einer Mülltüte, in die die Pommes einfach reingekippt werden und der Burger in Alufolie eingewickelt liegen. Burger war vom abholen zum Tisch schon komplett durchweicht

Hamburger o.k. Aber dass man im Restaurant nur auswählen kann ob man aus einer Aluschale oder aus Alufolie essen kann, ist heutzutage eine Schande. Ein Lokal, das heutzutage seinen Gästen Essen in Einwegeschirr aus Alu ausgibt, sollte man wirklich meiden.
