Unfortunately, I still don't understand the hype surrounding this chain. The quality and taste don't justify the exorbitant price of almost €30 for a small meal. The burger has practically no flavor – do they even use salt and pepper? The massive burger bun has the consistency of a massive yeast cake. I won't be going back to this chain…

The burgers are really good, however the fries are very soggy and salty, and I find the prices very high for the quality.

Absolutely overrated and way too expensive. The front part of the "dining hall" is unheated and freezing cold in winter. The food is served on a dented aluminum tray that looks like it belongs in a prison. The very silly server tried to sell me a Diet Coke for €4.75, claiming it was a refill. Who drinks liters of Coke in this cold? Then suddenly the bottle was €3.70 plus a €0.25 deposit. My bacon cheeseburger cost €15.70, and with the bottle of Coke, I paid €18.95. The only highlight was the Texan couple, also wearing coats, who told me they quite like Nuremberg sausages. Conclusion: There are better burgers in a more pleasant atmosphere at lower prices in Nuremberg.

There's just nothing left, no skilled workers, no good food, and it's way too expensive. No wonder they went bankrupt.

Unfortunately, this was our first and last time at Five Guys Nuremberg. Overpriced for the quality; anyone expecting something good will definitely be disappointed. The burgers and fries were quite a letdown and rather disgusting. The cheese on our burger wasn't melted at all, and there were even hairs on it! Absolutely unappetizing! For us, it was an expensive and unpleasant experience. The whole thing cost €40 for two burgers and fries, so you'd expect decent quality.

I visit the Five Guys in every once in a while, and it’s always a solid stop when I'm in the area. But today was something special. There was this really nice and friendly team member an American woman who provided hospitality on a completely different level. It’s been so long since I’ve experienced service that thoughtful and welcoming. She went above and beyond, proactively asking if I wanted things I never even knew they offered or could do. She wasn't just efficient she was genuinely kind and respectful, which made the whole visit feel great. That kind of positive energy really makes a difference.

I love this place! There's a man with glasses who is very kind and cool. I like to comeback sometimes. And the food..? Simply amazing!

All you’re gonna do is waste your time and money on a mediocre burger that you can get from McDonald’s. 5 guys is not it. Don’t waste your money. Took 15 mins with nobody in front of me for a simple burger. Place is clean though. Next time somebody asks for a sauce on a burger, put the sauce on the burger. No reason to be frugal with your sauce when this corporation makes as much money as it does high pricing mediocre burgers. Workers were okay.

Some of the best fries around, and good shakes. Less suitable for vegetarians. There's only one dish (which can be customized) that doesn't taste as good as a burger.

My visit to Five Guys in Nuremberg was a really positive experience overall. I was particularly impressed by the strawberry milkshake with whipped cream – for me, the highlight of the evening and definitely one of the best milkshakes I've ever had at a fast-food restaurant. The staff were very friendly, especially the manager at the register, who was very nice and immediately created a pleasant atmosphere. Since it was my first time at the restaurant, she explained things to me. I also found it convenient that you could refill your own drinks. The selection was huge and went far beyond the usual standard drinks – you could try all sorts of varieties and combinations. The fries were also excellent. I especially appreciated the information about which farm the potatoes came from – a small detail, but it added a nice touch. I had a vegetarian sandwich, which was also very tasty. It's great that you can customize it completely to your liking. This personalization is something I particularly appreciate about the Five Guys concept. Another fun feature was the wall where children (and adults, of course) could leave their little drawings and notes. This gave the restaurant a relaxed, friendly feel. I was there in the evening, and it was pleasantly quiet. While the prices are a bit higher than at the usual competitors, the quality, the selection, and the many customization options make it absolutely worthwhile for me. In conclusion: Five Guys in Nuremberg won me over. I would definitely go back.

The burgers taste incredibly good, and the atmosphere is intentionally diner-like – don't expect candlelight and waiters. Prices are, of course, extremely high, but not unusual for burgers, especially considering the downtown location.

I don't get the hype. A regular meal costs over €20. I can almost get two meals for that price at a competitor. It tasted okay, but nothing special.

Valza is the best manager! The burgers she makes are simply fantastic, incredible and the fries were amazing. We had a small problem with our credit card, but she contacted the bank for us and fixed it right away. Perfect and very professional service. I recommend her 100%!

Honestly, I don’t get the hype around Five Guys. The burgers were nothing special — just average, greasy fast food that you could get almost anywhere for half the price. The only decent thing on the menu were the fries, I’ll admit they were crispy and tasty, but that’s about it. The prices are absolutely ridiculous for what you get; I paid way too much for something that tasted so basic. On top of that, the staff seemed completely overwhelmed and chaotic, shouting orders back and forth like they were in some kind of emergency. It was more stressful than enjoyable. Definitely not going back anytime soon.

For a double party burger for €13.50, it was too small in my opinion, and the sliced ​​cheese felt like cheap toast cheese. Of course, it wasn't melted either. But it was still reasonably filling. Hence the 3 stars.

The burgers were cold, making the meat barely edible, and the fries weren't as crispy as you'd expect. For the high price, I expect much better quality. It's a shame – I'm really disappointed and probably won't go there again, even though I actually love the concept and the taste.

Proof of Vaccination required even for TAKEAWAYS! Never again! I visited FIVE GUYS often for its excellent chocolate milkshake and generous amount of fries in the past. This FIVE GUYS location refused the service unless I showed the proof of vaccination! I was dumbfounded beyond belief that this order taker would discriminate against the unvaccinated guests! He lamely explained it is "corporate policy" to require the proof for every order regardless. He was very adamant in refusing the service. An important note: the Free State of Bavaria does not require the proof of vaccination for takeaways, only for sitting down and eating at the restaurants and cafés (indoor and outdoor). This has been since November 2021. Two vaccinated or recovered guests overheard the whole conversation and came to my rescue. One of them yelled at the order takers while other one offered to order on my behalf. So sweet of the guests to intervene! What's so weird is the poster on the window proclaiming the restaurant to be open for takeaways, click & collect, Lieferando, and curbside! No other posters demanding the proof of vaccination for every order was posted on the doors or windows. Only verbal announcement at the cashier. The recent visit at FIVE GUYS is to be my last time I would spend €20 for the meal. Since I am unvaccinated (of my choice), I have no problem ordering the meals and drinks for takeaways at other locations such as Mam Mam, Burgerista, etc. I certainly hope FIVE GUYS will end up following Wal Mart, GAP, and other American companies that failed in Germany soon.

Unfortunately, you can see that many people order in and don't eat there. This obviously affects the quality of the food. I'm very careful about my diet and went to Five Guys for the first time yesterday. First because I needed to go to the bathroom... and then I spontaneously stopped in for a bite to eat. I had a little hamburger with all sorts of things on it... You can choose your own, which is great. The raspberry Fanta was a bit too sweet for me, and the Sprite with grapes unfortunately tasted like cleaning products. The water was great 😀 The hamburger was enough for me without extra fries... I don't think I could have ever managed it with fries :-). I'm only getting four stars for the service, because my friend's had ingredients left on it, which he had opted out of. The ambiance was so-so... nothing special, and the table outside just tipped over. 😶 It was also a bit of a shame that we had to wait in the middle of the aisle for the food. I'll definitely be back, because it was delicious. And criticism is never a bad thing; at least then the restaurant knows what they can do better next time :) Thanks for the great food!

To be honest, too expensive and not worth it

I hope you go bankrupt! The prices are simply completely inflated! It doesn't matter what you want to buy there—everything is overpriced and in no way justified.

We know five other guys and usually like to stop by this chain every now and then. Unfortunately, we weren't able to eat here this time because we had our dog with us, and they aren't allowed inside. We could have eaten outside, but it was really scorching hot, so we didn't consider it. I really appreciated the way one of the service staff came to tell us this unpleasant news: he was visibly embarrassed by having to do it, but he found the right words and the right way to communicate with us, even in a language that wasn't his own. We appreciated the manner and the kindness.

I'd like to share my experience here, as I was a bit disappointed. Unfortunately, I didn't like the burger I ordered; the bun was weird! I also didn't think the price-performance ratio was quite right. Furthermore, the atmosphere in the restaurant wasn't particularly pleasant.

Top five guys location. Everything was fresh and great, as usual. Even though it was busy, it was still a bit dirty, and there were overflowing trash cans everywhere.

It's very expensive, but they're by far the best fries in Nuremberg. Especially the chocolate pistachio Milky Way for dessert, it's simply amazing. The service is very friendly, and you can even brush up on your English at the cash register. Firefox Guys are simply unbeatable in terms of taste.

I am actually confused by the reviews on this page. They must either be old or those people have the highest standards on this planet. I've ordered here more than 5 times by now. This year and last year. The food was very good each and every time. The burgers have always been hot to warm and I've never been served a cold one. The fries are always crispy and well seasoned. In addition to that, the area with the mayonnaise and ketchup dispensers were always clean and never short of anything (salt, pepper, vinegar, the sauces). The staff is nice and most of them speak English and German. They always yell out the numbers so you cannot possibly miss your order. When it comes to the price, the burger is more than enough to saturate you. I eat quite a lot at once and still manage to struggle with one burger plus large fries. If you order those two plus a drink you will get to around 25€. If you're there with somebody I definitely recommend sharing those fries. And trust me the portions are definitely not small. Unlimited refills make the price of the drinks worth it. Last but not least, the bathrooms are clean.

Very good burgers and, above all, delicious fries. Unlimited refills on drinks, as well as ketchup/mayo with the fries. It was super quick, and the atmosphere outside in the pedestrian zone was nice, too. Definitely recommended for fast food in Nuremberg!

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the burgers. The buns were neither fresh nor flavorful. They were simply dry and bland. There was barely any sauce, which made the burger very dry overall. There was virtually no seasoning. The fries were dark, tasted of old grease, and were anything but crispy. The only good things were the mayo and the drinks. For over €50 for three burgers, a portion of fries, and two drinks, I expected a lot more. Especially considering there's a burger place just two minutes away that's worlds better. I definitely won't order from there again.

Really good place for having food

Very poor delivery! The food arrived completely cold, the fries were stale, and both milkshakes (over €7 each) leaked into the cone. Everything was wet, sticky, and unappetizing. Absolutely disappointing for the price. Ordering like this is no fun.

Very, very tasty burgers. Juicy, large, and delicious. Everything you'd expect from a burger. Excellent service. Received a free shake. Received a free bag of fries. Wonderful service for groups. Lots of free extras, as described above. I highly recommend it and love coming back here again and again. I drive 40 minutes from Bamberg to eat here. The milkshakes are delicious.

The food and service are great. The decor is a bit too functional, leaving you standing in the middle of the restroom after ordering, a bit perplexed. Still, highly recommended.

We were there last night. It was a really delicious burger. The price is reasonable. If it's too expensive for you, just go to McDonald's. The employees were simply fantastic. Courteous, helpful, and friendly. And that was half an hour before closing time at 10 p.m. Truly great.

I went to 5G for the first time yesterday. The prices aren't entirely justified. The atmosphere is like an operating room. Two hours earlier, I got exactly the same 0.5-liter soft drink for much cheaper at an Italian restaurant. But the employees are friendlier, and the products are much better than at McDonald's and Burger King.
