Burger King in Nürnberg

Soooo, So first of all it should be said that you get what you expect here. Not a gourmet 3 star meal, just fast food. But it becomes problematic when that almost disappears. Ordering at 8:55 p.m. and then not having any food in your hand at 9:15 p.m. and missing the train because you've already paid €20 and never see it again is really annoying. Especially when the next train doesn't arrive for 40 minutes...admittedly BK can't do anything about the public train network but 20 minutes for a burger + fries at prime time...well. Now comes the really annoying thing, I can understand that not everyone can understand this, but everyone wants to get what they order. Ergo, if I order a plan base wopper, then wait 20 minutes for it as usual, only to find out on the train at the end that it is not plan based...then I just threw €6 out the window.... In general, in the two visits to BK Hauptbahnhof it cost me almost as much as a visit to a nice restaurant, but unfortunately with a lot more worries and no possibility of having my food returned. All in all, I think it's great that they're trying to offer affordable vegan food with solid quality. Unfortunately it only reaches the guest every now and then.

BurgerKing/FastFood locations are there to provide a toilet at train stations. This BurgerKing has no toilet and therefore no consumption of inferior products.

It took forever. Fries were forgotten. And it's Nuremberg HBF, what kind of ambience should you expect. “Almost” doesn’t mean anything here. Yesterday I waited almost three quarters of an hour for my food. Absolutely bottomless.

The meal took 30 minutes to prepare! I had 45 minutes to change my train and almost missed it because the employees were working at a snail's pace. All with a migrant background and half asleep. There's no way I'll ever come here again, that's a cheek.

Burger King never disappoints! I had the double patty Whopper, and it was absolutely delicious. The beef was juicy and flavorful, the veggies were fresh, and the sesame seed bun held it all together perfectly. Highly recommend!

The food was okay, typical Burger King. But what I didn't like is. I ordered at the checkout and the employee greeted me nicely. But first I touched the money with my hands and then and then I touched the fries with my hands. It's great that you have tables for travelers where you can charge your cell phone via USB. Unfortunately all the tables don't function... There wasn't much going on, but the garbage trucks in the lobby were all full, so unfortunately I had to leave the tray on the table like many other people. But the three ladies behind the counter have time to chat.

Basically it's okay - but what doesn't work is the unfriendly cleaning lady who wants to throw you out of the shop at night and speaks stupidly to you. Happened on April 18, 2025 at 1:00 a.m. - if someone doesn't feel like working, that person should stay at home and not talk stupidly to customers.

It was November 2024 when I visited the place. The food was genuinely good, but the fact that the immigrant lady at the counter would insult me in the name of "Woher kommst du aus? (Where are you from?) in a subtle way, even when I am speaking German is completely unpardonable!

Burger tasted like a cookie because the bun was so hard. Simply disgusting!!!

Tested multiple times. Food quality in the lower range of Bürgerkings. Lettuce is brown, tomatoes are falling apart and are definitely no longer fresh. The burgers themselves are “okay”. But food is ready quickly and employees are friendly.

Very long waiting time for takeout

On my trip to Hungary I stopped briefly at Nuremberg train station. Burger King has a very high standard. The ordering machines simply work perfectly and the service is also very good. My food was prepared quickly. The nuggets were very hot and delicious! But it was a bit noisy in the store.

Ordered 2 menus yesterday but got them completely mixed up and things were missing. Employees speak German poorly. One of the worst Burger Kings I've ever been to!! 😒

Two words to describe the burger king at the Nuremberg station, DIRTY, and DISGUSTING, the workers, preparing orders without gloves, touching the meat with their hands, and upon entering a horrible smell of sweat and armpits, yes. I doubt I don't know how people can come in and eat the food from that burger king, regrettable!!!!

Now after the renovation, things look completely different here. You can sit down here and eat a few burgers. For all veggies there is a nice note somewhere: Veggie patties may be fried on the same plate as meat patties. This is of course an absolute no-go and almost makes the veggie patties obsolete. Guys, please fry this on your own grill, it's not rocket science.

Everything is okay so far, but it could be better. Burger was a bit "squashed" in the packaging...

Caution! If you're in a hurry, don't order! You wait about 30 minutes for the food. I also find it very unprofessional that orders are not processed after they have been received. This would be especially important at the train station (you are leaving)!

I'm only giving it 3 stars because I think it's great that Burger King offers so many meat-based alternatives, and I have to admit, it was very busy. Unfortunately, the wait here was unbearable, especially at the station where people are catching a train. The organization seems very chaotic; I've rarely seen anything like it. We waited over 20 minutes for our order. I ended up leaving empty-handed because my train was leaving. Please work on the organization/training of the staff!

Worst place in the station to try to get food. After ordering, you wait in vain for your food. The staff is very unfriendly.

Sin. I ordered a 3 euro sandwich as a snack and waited 27 minutes. I informed the staff about the delay but they refused to refund me. They explained to me that the room was full of people ordering (I'm not blind and work in the restaurant industry), but the sandwich I had ordered was sitting there behind the counter, waiting for someone to come over and bring it to me. People ordered from me at the counter and were the first to finish their drinks and chips. Sin. I had to make a scene at minute 27 because I was losing my patience as I watched two kids order at the counter, pay at the register... and pick up their food, eat, and then leave while I'm STILL WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO HAVE MY SANDWICH. Too bad, too bad, the sandwich was lukewarm and only tasted like caramelized onions, which you usually buy for 3 euros for a 650 gram bucket, and it was only lukewarm because it had been waiting on the grill, otherwise it would have been frozen after all that waiting. It was waiting the whole time and it took 27 minutes before one of the 6 employees noticed that number 076 was a SANDWICH that had already been in line for 27 minutes.

The worst experience for this Burger King, more than 25 minutes waiting (maybe because of the bread baking machine out of work), but finally I got wrong burger from what I ordered, and also no dressing and fork for the salad..no willing to come again.

Hey Burger King 2.9 out of 5 stars, you're getting mediocre. Your employees are disinterested and don't pay attention to the fact that I mention without rocket salad or onion that I am allergic. They put rocket salad in my burger. While we are eating, the cleaning lady asks us to lift the tray so that she wipes the tables. There is a very poorly trained manager.

We stopped here because it was across from our hotel. The food was standard Burger King except there were a few different items. There were a good number of plant based food dishes and some Mexican style burgers

Staff terrible!!!! Cleaning lady takes pills and packaging from you while you haven't even finished eating!!!! And then says: "Do you want to stay here? Buy food again!!!! Friday evening. The store is busy but not overcrowded. Although various tables are not occupied by customers (see below), an order without special requests takes over 15 minutes. The food meets the expectations of BK. What makes the stay very unpleasant, however, are the numerous obviously homeless people who use the shop as a warming room. In principle, of course, it doesn't matter whether someone is there to eat or kill time. Unfortunately, many of those present in this group are characterized by difficult social behavior. Severe lack of personal hygiene, staring at people, sitting at the table without being asked, begging for food or rummaging through the trash, and last but not least, talking loudly and disturbingly to oneself. Unfortunately, this does not contribute to an atmosphere in which you feel comfortable as a guest. Or you want to leave your luggage etc. unattended at your seat so you can quickly pick up your food from the counter. The neighboring McD. has this problem under better control, even though it extends over two floors. The trick seems to be to have more employees on site in general, and in particular those who don't care about everything.

I don't understand negative reviews here. Of course the restaurant is always full because it is located in the main station. But if you are patient to wait 15 minutes you can easily pick up a good meal. The tables are cleaned regularly.

When asked whether the cheese and sauce on the plant-based burgers they ordered were vegan, the answer was annoyed with “yes, everything vegan, everything plant-based”. When I asked again that, as far as I knew, BK didn't have any vegan cheese in its range, the mood became slightly aggressive and the gentleman at the checkout said again "the cheese is vegan". Then I did some research myself and found that there is still no vegan cheese and the sauce on the burger is not vegan either. So you can find vegans annoying and hate them, for whatever reason. But this can have extreme health consequences if you have allergies. Please train your staff wisely. Plant-based is not the same as vegan or without milk/egg. And if you don't know for sure, you can always look at the list of ingredients, which should be included in every BK. I worked in the catering industry for many years... knowing what's in the dishes is an absolute basic standard.

So personally I can't complain too much. The staff was friendly, the order was ready quickly and it was clean. It's difficult to judge the ambience because we're talking about a Burger King and not a toque restaurant with a dress code. The restaurant is in a train station building, but in a clean and architecturally beautiful train station from 1844. The only thing that bothers me is the fact that there are no toilets in the restaurant itself and you are forced to use the station toilets. These are a short distance away and you pay €1.50 to use them. What should be highlighted positively, however, is the fact that they are clean. Unfortunately, this cannot be said about most toilets in Burger Kings.

Where to start. Smashed menu screens, rude staff. Dirty, no where to sit. Huge queues, food was cold. Abysmal experience and I'm amazed I didn't get ill from the food. To add insult to injury, overpriced. Daylight robbery here.

This Burger King only survives because it's in the main train station and people have to eat quickly before they get on the train. The BK has no organization. The staff no motivation to work. So I had lunch there today and had a menu and an extra burger. 2 1/2 hours later I vomited so violently. I haven't eaten or drunk anything else since then. And even before that, I had nothing else that day.

Wanted a KitKat ice cream. Ordered and paid for it online. At the counter they told me they didn't have any KitKat and that I should get an Oreo. Only after a very unfriendly discussion did I get my money back in cash.

I ordered something there for just under €40, got a burger and a portion of fries... after asking, other customers were served for 10 minutes instead of taking care of my business! They threw away my receipt so I couldn't tell what exactly was on it!!! After endless back and forth the police were even called in, they didn't want to help either! So I spent €40 for a service I never received! Never again! Hopefully you all lose your jobs and sleep on the streets!

The worst service i ever seen, it took a lifetime until my food came

You order a cheeseburger with 4x meat and 4x cheese, but you get one with 3x meat and 3x cheese. However, you pay for 4x meat... Somehow this is theft and the customer's good faith is being exploited.

Unfortunately, I didn't fully unpack my takeaway order until I got home. I was given regular nuggets instead of 20 plant-based nuggets. Since they are visually different, I at least noticed that before I ate them. Still a no go, I definitely won't order vegan nuggets here again :(

At a Bahnhofs Burger King, I expect my food to be served quickly. Waiting at least 20 minutes every time, nothing like a quick burger on the trip when you're hungry. The highlight was reached yesterday with an announced waiting time of 1 hour after ordering!!! Cancellation and money back was not possible! I had 32 minutes until my train left - you should mrinen that's enough for fast food to go go.... By the time I was finally able to place my order at the checkout, it had already been 17 minutes!!! When it came to the issue it was pure chaos - my repeated requests as to whether it would be possible for me to receive my order were simply ignored!! I left the restaurant WITHOUT the order and barely made my train, hungry and hungry!! By the way, it was platform 1 I would like to have the €21.97 back

Worst Burger King ever, waited 1 hour for food, after half an hour we asked to cancel the meal because it was taking too long for us. The employee just looked at me listlessly and didn't answer. After 45 minutes I asked again, still no answer. There are probably no cancellations planned at the store!!! Never ever go there if you need to catch a train! It took them 25 minutes to prepare some chili cheese fries. Just when my order number was on top of the screen they moved it all the way down. After complaining they prepared my order. Stay away. The'yre not friendly because they have to deal with angry customers all the time which causes them a lot of stress.

The cashier responded to me in a blatantly rude manner and billed me for a completely incorrect order.
