You need a quick bite to eat late at night, so you head to the drive-thru. Unfortunately, the one on Sigmundstrasse is a disaster. You wait FOREVER for your food. The staff almost NEVER speak German and constantly misunderstand orders. And even when they do understand the order correctly, they send the wrong thing. All in all, a complete catastrophe. The Wißkirchen company is clearly incompetent.

It's okay, but not really my thing.

It always sounds silly, but if you haven't eaten McDonald's for months, this stuff is actually pretty good! The McRösti was really delicious! And the rest was just like always!

Charging them so disproportionately for this is simply brazen and unfriendly to customers. Anyone who attracts families with children should also understand that they won't be done in 60 minutes. Instead, they're treated like a nuisance and have their money taken out of their pockets. I will definitely not eat at this McDonald's again and would rather find a more pleasant place without such unnecessary time pressure and rip-offs.

The last time we were there, there were three families. All well and good, but after about two and a half hours, we all got up and went home together. Now we've all been fined €20 by the parking depot for exceeding our parking time. Bravo, now we have even more reason to never eat McDonald's again. The employees are nice and friendly. Well, the few that are there, that is. At night, the wait is endless; once the line stretched out into the street. It's 3:00 a.m., and I've been waiting for a quarter of an hour (2 minutes until my order and 15 minutes so far), and I still haven't even gotten past the first window. McDonald's and the like have become very expensive. There should be enough money to hire one or two more people in the store.

Unfortunately, you have to give it one star. We were there today around 12:30 AM and ordered something. We waited 45 minutes and kept asking for our order. After 50 minutes, I lost my patience and asked for our order. The lady said, "Just a minute," and we finally got cold, old food. It tasted disgusting.

I became suspicious, compared the bill with what was on the table – and lo and behold: an entire meal was missing, as were fries and various sauces. So I went back to the counter, explained everything, and waited again. Everything just seemed totally disorganized – as if no one knew exactly what the staff were doing there and what impact this was having. And then came the icing on the cake: because the children hadn't eaten everything, I wanted to take a carrier bag. The employee looked at me in surprise, called a colleague, and I repeated my request. The two of them went to the bistro and asked what I meant, or what a carrier bag even was. I don't want to offend anyone personally, but it seemed as if many of the employees weren't really trained or on board. A competent manager should take a closer look and bring order to the process. It's a shame, because I remembered McDonald's as better. The food itself was okay – typical fast food, nothing to complain about. The atmosphere is also neutral, like any McDonald's. But when I wait almost half an hour for something that's supposed to be "quick," I do wonder if the brand's core philosophy hasn't been lost somewhere. Apparently, judging by the reviews, this has been a long-standing problem, which is why I can't understand why nothing has been done about it. I would have understood if the employees had finished the orders they had taken first and then accepted new ones, since the store is open until 5 a.m. Instead, I couldn't order anything at all at 1 a.m. and was left standing. The customers in front of me had already waited an hour. Without receiving any information. I don't think that's right.
