Burger King in München

Hygiene and Quality Issue Today, December 6, 2025, at 4:15 PM, I purchased a Long Chicken Meal at the Bodenseestraße branch. When I opened the product at home, I saw that the lettuce was spoiled (rotten) and the quantity of the contents was very insufficient. This is an unacceptable hygiene and quality issue. I have also attached photos. I expected more care regarding hygiene from you. I have also complained to customer service.

Confusing menu ordering, typical of a fast-food restaurant, no enjoyment!

It would be really helpful if there was a sign at the drive-thru entrance indicating that card payments aren't working again (this problem has persisted for several months). Currently, you drive in, sit in traffic for 10-20 minutes, only to find out when you try to order that card payments aren't accepted. I don't want to have to go into the store or waste time unnecessarily. Please put this sign directly at the entrance in the future. Thank you! The order display is very slow to respond 2. The printout doesn't work because the roll is empty 3. Employees unfortunately don't understand the instructions, and you have to communicate with your hands and feet, just like abroad, to show that the order that was called out is really mine 4. The employees still don't switch rolls, even when other guests report the same issue 5. Several items from the order are missing (ketchup/mayo/a real toy/a real milkshake), thus returning to the lack of communication options 6. The tables were all dirty, despite a moderate number of guests 7. Some of the food was cold 8. At several tables, guests were using the loudspeaker to make phone calls in various languages ​​(including German)

I've NEVER given a Buletten König a bad review, BUT: To send a burger I complained about back to the kitchen and return it with the microwave trick (despite the mayonnaise, franchise ban!), minus the brown lettuce leaves, and the word "Schulligung" (a complaint), is utterly cheeky! I don't even want to start on the missing fries sauce, yesterday and again today (drive-thru and restaurant). The next King isn't a big detour either.

For a fast-food restaurant, the food is decent, the staff is friendly, and service is usually prompt. There are occasional minor mix-ups or forgotten orders, but overall, it's a solid visit.

I think one star is far too many. Firstly, the lady at the drive-thru hardly understood anything. Half of our order was missing and the sauce was wrong and given twice. She actually didn't even have to enter anything herself because we were scanning coupons, so theoretically she was only supposed to prepare the list. When I went back to complain, it was another difficult process. It took me at least five minutes to explain what was missing, but there were no surprises waiting to happen. When it came to eating, we found out that dish after dish the food tasted like garbage swimming in sauce, chicken nuggets like cardboard, and right at the end the last burger had half a head of blonde hair in it. Definitely never again. And now we're praying that today we can make it without diarrhea.

A red-haired woman who works there tried to convince me that the strawberry shake was vanilla. She said, "It looks like it." I replied, "No, the strawberry shake is pink, not white." Then she took strawberry sauce and mixed it into the shake and tried to give it to me. Sorry, she works there and treats customers rudely. I'm going to complain to the manager personally.

Very clean place run by "non-Germans" nice service, very clean and nice. Staff friendly to crying children - quick small talk and immediately the customer feels like in a friendly place "for people".

It wasn't busy, and the staff chatted in groups. This could have been done if: - the outdoor area wasn't littered and the tables and benches weren't dirty and sticky with leftover food - the indoor area wasn't clean either - the food return carts weren't overflowing. Worst Burger King I've ever visited. Ordered and paid at the terminal. A 400ml chocolate milkshake and a King Fusion Twix caramel. When the number was called, I was given two King Sundaes (chocolate and caramel). My first reaction to my "That's not my order..." was "Yes, caramel and chocolate." Showing the order receipt again elicited a shrug, and they made me the chocolate milkshake. When it came to the supposed King Fusion, which looked like a King Sundae, the (supposed) shift manager (in the black shirt, who also filled the order first) simply took the caramel sundae, threw on some Twix toppings, handed it over, and said, "Now done." This branch is awful. It was very dirty. Outside, every table was sticky, and the full trays were stacked high. There were enough staff on site, but no one seemed interested. The food was bland. It was dirty inside, too, and the tray carts were overflowing! That's unnecessary!

Absolutely not!! Orders were completely wrong, all three burgers were wrong and only partially eaten. Extra sauces were wrong, and some weren't included at all. The atmosphere is fine.

After complaining to the branch manager (Burger King Freiham), I asked for help three times because three teenagers were throwing trash and ice cubes at me. The Big King Burger was lukewarm to cold, not very tasty. The ordering terminal was a disaster, unresponsive to touch, and the menu navigation was illogical. It worked much better at competitor McDonald's.

Coupons from app don't work at the kiosk. Need to order with staff at the cash desk to use coupon. No sun shade in windows, extremely hot inside, no air conditioning. Food ok.

The employees at this branch rival any government agency when it comes to speed and efficiency. Every order is processed from above, which means that if the burger is not ready for the current order, they simply wait 2-3 minutes and stand around instead of starting the next order. So you wait over 15 minutes to get an ice cream. In addition, the Indian-looking man behind the counter is an extreme distraction as he has no job other than chatting to people and keeping them from working. This man does absolutely nothing except stand around. Seems to be the shift or branch manager. You can often see him behind the counter in his private clothes, which is very unprofessional. In general, the willingness to work at Burger King branches is absolutely underground, no wonder McDonald's is much more successful.

After complaining three times, everything was received except ketchup and mayonnaise. 2 out of 3 people we ate there suffered from cramps and diarrhea all night long. Ordered a burger for €6, then there was one in the bag for €3, which tasted pretty boring and was exactly the one I DIDN'T want, the ketchup for the fries was also forgotten. The chili cheese fries were sour instead of spicy. Bottomless impudence on Bodenseestrasse! There were 4 of us there. We had to wait almost half an hour for our 4 burgers. 3 out of 4 burgers were ice cold. A written complaint was responded to. Burger King has really changed for the better! After the extensive renovations, the difference is clearly noticeable. The service is much better now: the staff are attentive and friendly. The cleanliness is also at a new level; everything looks neat and well maintained. I was really pleasantly surprised by these improvements. This store is a disaster. The ordering machines didn't work and no one wanted to take the order in person. We then drove through the drive in. Fries were given out without salt, forgot mayo and ketchup, instead of 1x chocolate and 1x caramel sauce, 2x caramel sauce was given out. There were also no bowls for the sauces. The lady wanted to pour the sauces directly over the churros. I wanted the sauce in a bowl, as shown in the picture. She shakes her head and says, "I've never experienced anything like that before"

Wow. Two attempts (via the BK komepage and then directly by email) are apparently ignored. Apart from an automatic "YOUR CONCERN blah blah blah" NOTHING has come from the head office even after weeks. They don't seem to give a damn about the service disaster there. Decent Burger King that is often busy in the evenings. There can be a good five minute wait at the drive-in. I think it's great that all burgers are also offered vegetarian and recup cups 👍🏻.
