Burger King in Hamburg

How should I rate the food? The staff is friendly. However, the waiting times are not acceptable. I felt like I waited longer for a milkshake than I did for my meal at the Greek restaurant at 8 p.m. on a Saturday.

Under no circumstances should you go here if you need fast food. This may be the slowest Burger King in the country. And that at a train station. The burgers are piled up in the back and a person in the front is filling the bags so slowly that you feel like it's on purpose. Had to get on the train without my order because it really took forever.

The conversion didn't achieve anything and ended up being a CLEAR disadvantage for the customer. No matter how full or empty it is, orders take a long time here. Since the renovation, the prices have increased significantly and at the same time coupons are no longer accepted. Despite modernization, mobile orders are still not possible. Food is below average in comparison

I thought the shop addressed the other comments about the patties not being plant based, apparently they are still putting in animals in plant based products. Someone needs to sue them.

Still on the ICE, hunger is rising - and the question is whether I'll enjoy the on-board bistro. But then finally: the gates open, after getting out I see the restaurant I've been waiting for: five screens await my order. Tables are not available, but are not needed either; hunger has increased again. After a short time my freshly prepared cheeseburgers arrive, the nice employee clearly saw how hungry I was. Full of anticipation, I bite into the first burger, and lo and behold: my expectations were fully met! Full of euphoria, I inhale the second one and can then think clearly again. Sure, the price is steep, but it was really quick. 5/5, if you want to sit, take the train!

How slow can fast food be? Burger King: Yes

It is really nonsense that the application cannot be used in this industry in 2024 and I would rather eat kebab from a hundred meters deep.

The Burgerking in Hamburg Central Station is relatively simple. There are 7 order terminals, but at least 1 of them is always defective. The orders take a relatively long time and are often incorrect. There is also relatively little space at the ordering area. But all in all, the Burger King serves its purpose.

The slowest Burger King in the history of Burger King. The entire staff works slowly and listlessly. What happens to fast food if you're too slow? it's getting cold! This Burger King has just been rebuilt and yet at least 2 terminals are always defective.

Welcome to the fine dining restaurant in the main station on the Südsteg. Here you take your time. Lots of time. Out of 12 open orders, each one is individually carefully packaged, checked again and then issued. My order is number 5206 and the 11th in the order. I've been waiting for 8 minutes. And in that time 2 orders were issued. Are there process times here???

Total rubbish, the employees don't want to use the cash register and point to the terminals. Lie and say there is no cash register. An interpreter had to be called until someone understood me after five minutes...

I placed an order with my partner earlier. 2x burgers, fries and drinks took 20 minutes and that was only because we pushed the service. People who came long after us came before us. 1 drink and a chip were missing and we missed the train. Now we have to wait an hour for the next train, totally exhausted. A real juice shop!!!

Apparently coupons cannot be used here. The Whopper had been put together carelessly. Ketchup was missing. There was mayonnaise stuck to the outside of the packaging. The waitress took receipts from customers. There were beggars and what appeared to be drug addicts among the waiting customers.

If you are vegan or vegetarian find another place. I ordered the veggie double cheese burger with vegan mayo. After taking a bite of the burger I knew it was not veggie. They packed it in the "plantbased" paper, but the patty was real meat. I could not go back to return the burger, because I was going with train to another city. This is not okay and they should not advertise about having veggie options, when they do not know how to serve them. Avoid.

I was unable to redeem my crowns or win my Wheel of Fortune promotion. The staff was unable to explain to me why this was the case. This is very bad.

Long queue because the employees couldn't keep up with the preparation. When I asked, I received the Kids Boxes I ordered after 15 minutes because I pointed out my lane. Otherwise I probably would have stood there longer. Boxes were packed incorrectly, but we only noticed it on the train. Hygiene was really a significant shortcoming. Employees in preparation worked without gloves. THIS DOES NOT WORK AT ALL! My first and last visit there!

Food for the bin - in the truest sense of the word. I just bit into meaty nuggets even though I ordered the plant base. I couldn't exchange them anymore because the train was coming.

The new buns are sooo much better... Hotter 🍔 . Had a whopper, everything was great. Flesh still slightly pink. Lettuce, onions, tomatoes, everything crunchy... That's how it should be, that's how it should stay 🙂

The BK has never been good. But even worse since the renovation. No coupon accepted, too expensive. 15€ for a fries and coke what the hell. And the selection was also extremely limited.

The staff is always extremely friendly and works quickly, even at very stressful times. A few times I said that my train was leaving soon and they took great care to ensure that I received my order on time. Was completely satisfied so far!

New Whopper with soft bun announced - no roasted aromas taste :) just too much soggy bread. Patty also not completely fried/grilled. But promotional price. No cash register - just machines, only 2 of which work while you're being begged. Tastes so-so - there are no extra jalapeños on it - I'm regretting it :)

It was quite empty for a Saturday evening, but it went quickly. The only bad thing was the beggars, but there's nothing you can do about that. Kind regards, come and eat with you again.

To date, the food has always been of the typical fast food quality and even relatively warm, and the staff has always been quite nice. Today, however, was a disaster. The waiting time was far too long and there were already a lot of people standing around waiting for their food. However, the staff were in no hurry at all and it took several minutes before they could hand over their order to anyone. Nobody was employed there if you think so. Anyway, at some point my order (2 large portions of fries) was finally handed to me and I had to hurry up to catch my train. Only then did I realize that there was only a medium portion of fries in my bag. I no longer had the receipt because the employee simply took it from me when I took my order. All in all, I cannot recommend this Fillale because it is relatively dirty and poorly equipped (no ice cream machine, for milkshakes, etc.)

Unfortunately you have to give one star. Disgraceful for Burger King, should be closed. Cola lukewarm, not carbonated, I've never experienced anything like that. Waiting time was about 15 minutes, with about 5 orders beforehand, but these were also served slowly, staff running all over the place and complaining to each other. Can be completely forgotten since the renovation. No King of the Month and no coupons available. That probably won't bring in enough sales otherwise. Prices are also relatively high for a menu.

Only cash in 2024 late in the evening, so to McDonald's (cash - what is that? At least 30 minutes further as a detour) for better Beyond Meat vegan food on a credit card. If Burger King doesn't want my money: it's your own fault... Maybe they should hire marketing & sales experts with a brain.

Xtra long chill chessburger didn't taste good at all, very dry, old, hardly any cheese and coupon is not accepted, point you can't collect

3/7 terminals work, no coupons are accepted and ordering food at the checkout was also not possible.

You cannot redeem coupons, which I was rudely told after several attempts at one of the 2 working terminals by an employee who was watching me the whole time. I then found out that the card reader seemed to be rejecting all cards (Sparkasse, Debit, Visa, Google Pay). I gave up, went to one stall and bought a pizza with my savings bank card.

They should remove the fast from fastfood on this one...if you are on a rush, dont buy here

That’s it… You have completely lost me as a customer. No cash accepted without using the terminal. Unfortunately, this isn't customer-friendly at all if you can't even enter an order on your POS terminal and collect it. And this price increase doesn't work at all. A single burger has always been expensive - ok... But over €7 for a long chicken??? For a warmed portion between two bun halves with a drizzle of sauce and mini salad??? Luckily the competition is right across the street.

How can it be possible that such a fuss is made as soon as a customer orders. In addition, every order is processed in order, which in my opinion is inefficient if a large family orders before you (1 drink!). This can actually be done quickly with good service. Wrong burger in my order and it took forever

It's the worst food establishment I've ever been to, you can't order food here, the terminals don't work. There is only one seller at the cash register. The food is terrible, it's dirty. Half of my order had to be thrown in the trash because it was impossible to eat. It is more pleasant to eat in the toilet than in this Burger King. I don't understand how they are allowed to work with such sanitary standards. I love Burger King, but I will never come to this place again. I often travel to Hamburg by train. My recommendation is that there are many times better places within 100 meters where you can have a great time and satisfy your stomach.

The worst Burger King I've ever seen. You can't read the coupon, I heard it after waiting 5 minutes. You can also hang this information on any terminal if this doesn't work then you save yourself the unnecessary queuing and the unfriendly employees Kitchen employees prepare everything visibly from the checkout without gloves (totally unhygienic)

I had to wait about 15 minutes for a hamburger and then there was nothing in it except the thin meat, ketchup and 1 slice of pickle. It's quicker at McDonalds.

Very bad and slow service! No official parter, NO coupons and dressing! Terminals are very slow, accept cards after 2-3 times. Employees work very slowly. They have no idea how to simply change paper into the machine for the receipt. That's why the line is always long. There is a feeling that some employees have not completed any training. They make so many mistakes and are very chaotic. You have to stand in front of the cash register and really scream for someone to come. Otherwise you can't order anything. Managers communicate with employees like slaves. Insanely unpleasant experience. Never again

The service in the branch in Hamburg main station is really bad... last time the additional sauces ordered for the children were missing, today the extra cheese wasn't on the Whopper. You can only order takeaway, even the bar tables are gone - so you only notice this on the train. Instead of doing a little advertising on your own behalf while the competition is rebuilding at the other end of the station, customers are being scared away here. And the store number required for feedback cannot be found on the receipt :)

I always thought the customer was king but that wasn't the case. I wanted to order at the counter and pay by card. The worker said that this was forbidden by law and that I should go digital via their new ordering display. If I want to order at the counter then there is a reason for a short discussion and in the end I go to the competition. Thank you for the nice hospitality with respect to the free customers. 7 terminals... 4 are broken... so wait, wait, wait, then place your order yourself because the customer is not a king. The cola is lukewarm and non-carbonated. As you can see in the photo, the fries are very dark. It is obvious that the fat is rarely changed here. It would be best to close this branch and exclude the operator from the franchise. There are enough people who can do this job properly.

I didn't order anything heavy, a big King xxl and a Chessbürger and didn't get any of it. Instead I got a Burger with bacon and two. Patty and paid 12 for it, I think you've got it since the bad finale that I experienced here in Germany anyway

Very bad service!!! Takes a really long time! It's damn expensive and why they don't accept coupons there 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ but the main thing is that there are advertisements for the coupons on the screens! It's a real shame and it's the last time I was there!

I wanted to give Burger King a chance after the renovation. That backfired badly. There wasn't a huge rush of customers, but the staff was still completely overwhelmed. The employee in the kitchen wipes her nose dry with the back of her hand. Pooh!!! I had to wait more than 13 minutes for an ice cream and a burger. The guest makes his order alone and still has to wait for a long time without a huge rush. To top it off, the burger was cold. Nothing learned after the disgusting scandal!!!
