We went here for dinner as part of a birthday party. The table was beautifully set with folded cloth napkins. The service staff were all very nice, attentive and quick. The food was great! The only drawback is that when it's warm, the air in the rooms just stagnates and it was very hot and stuffy.

Unfortunately the food was sometimes cold, but the service was good as usual.

I don't know what else people are told, but I definitely can't confirm the reviews and the taste of the quality. I'm from Bavaria and know what a good roast pork and good dumplings taste like. We ordered roast pork that evening. Unfortunately, the sauce was made from ready-made powder, the dumplings made from ready-made mixture tasted like nothing and the meat didn't taste good either. I wouldn't recommend this place for roast pork!

We had dinner there with 5 people on Monday. Everything was really great. The service was very friendly and accommodating and the food was simply great. We had a plate of meat with potatoes, goulash with dumplings and a small salad (+extra) and neck steak with a fried egg and fries. Everything tasted great and nothing was left over! Worth an experience.

Two years ago we were much more impressed by the food, maybe it was just the choice of dishes. But after last night I'm deducting a star. The wood chipper steak was tasty but fried in a lot of oil. The side salad was relatively expensive (approx. €6.50) (1 slice of cucumber, 1 piece of tomato, etc.) and the dressing wasn't very balanced in terms of taste. The Postkeller Pfandl was also not convincing. But the quantities were plenty.

Pure disappointment. This evening we wanted to eat something around 8 p.m. However, we were told that although the curfew is at 10 p.m., there is no kitchen anymore. We were directed to the pizzeria opposite. Very disappointing and an untrained staff. If I'm in Mittenwald again I definitely won't go to the restaurant again.

We were very satisfied all around, from the reservation to the dessert. The dish from the daily menu was fantastic and the seasonal wild garlic cream soup was also on point. We had a very, very nice, attentive service person who really served us with a lot of joy and enthusiasm. If we vacation here again, we will definitely come back!!!

We have been loyal guests for several years. Unfortunately, the quality of the food does not keep up with the price increases. The dumplings, for example, were served with the cheapest grated cheese from the bag. The waitress was asked about it and offered a small compensation at the house's expense. We were there a total of 3 times during our vacation, and 2 times the food didn't come at the same time! Price and performance no longer reflect the level of recent years.

Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen und zu unserem reservierten Tisch gebracht, die Kinder bekamen gleich was zum Malen und wir wurden sofort bedient. Obwohl das Restaurant voll war, war die Wartezeit normal und sehr angemessen. Das Essen sehr schmackhaft und richtig gewürzt, auch die Mengen waren sehr gross für den Preis. Das Bier schmeckte fabelhaft und ist nur zum Empfehlen, sie haben sogar mehrere Sorten wo für jedermann was dabei ist. Und obwohl das Restaurant wie gesagt voll war, wurden wir mehrmals gefragt ob wir noch was benötigen und ob alles gut ist. Das Personal und das Ambiente ist Top und nur zum Weiterempfehlen.

In today's world, when savings are often made, quality declines, the selection is reduced and the staff rarely speaks German and is stressed out because of being understaffed, a place like this stands out extremely positively. The service was friendly and quick, the food was plentiful and extremely tasty (both the soup and the main course (roast venison)). The prices are also absolutely reasonable and below comparable restaurants in similar tourist areas. The guest room itself could be a little less hall-like, but they make an effort to decorate it appropriately and I felt comfortable as a guest. All in all, highly recommended and even worth it due to the quality of the food. See you next time

Good brewery, delicious food (say my fellow diners). However: points deducted for the mushrooms. They were swimming in an ocean of cream, as if the chefs wanted to make up for the missing meat in fat. They can't be vegetarian. But the beer was delicious.

Wir waren am Silvesterabend im Postkeller. Es gab eine reduzierte, aber gut ausreichende, Abendkarte. Das Bier ist sehr gut und auch das Essen (Suppe, Hauptspeise und Nachspeise) war sehr gut. Trotz vollem Haus ging es überaschend schnell. Die Bedienerinnen waren freundlich und gingen auch auf Sonderwünsche ein. Alles in allen ein perfekter Jahresausklang!

8 von 5 Sternen. Wir waren jetzt öfters da und durften gleichbleibend leckeres Essen genießen. Ich empfehle das Braumeistersteak. Die Bedienung stets freundlich und 100% Serviceorientiert. Sehr lecker das helle Kellerbier. Bitte macht weiter so, der Erfolg wird euch gewiss sein.

Die Brauereigaststätte Postkeller ist ein Ort mit einem sehr angenehmen Ambiente. Schon beim betreten des Gebäudes, kommt der bayrische Flair nicht zu kurz. Die Geschichte des Hauses ist fesselnd und die leeren Fässer, die als Wand Dekoration verwendet werden, haben das gewisse Etwas. Der offene große Raum, der aber trotzdem nicht zu offen wirkt, lässt einen heimisch fühlen. Um die Ecke rum gibt es noch ein großes Separee, welches sehr gemütlich eingerichtet ist. Die Kellner sind alle rundum sehr freundlich, höflich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war von sehr guter Qualität und geschmacklich super. Zur Abrundung gibt es noch das köstliche Bier, welches einem die Kehle nur so schmeichelt. Ausnahmslos in allen Aspekten eine 5/5

Während unseres Wochenendes in Mittenwald haben wir im Postkeller abends gegessen. Der Service ist sehr gut, dass Essen schmeckt hervorragend und das Ambiente ist Klasse. Leckere Mittenwalder Biere vom Fass. Empfehlen können wir das Wiener vom Kalbsrücken und die Sülze mit Bratkartoffeln und Remoulade. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
