Warm welcome and very good advice from the hostess. Carefully prepared and generous dishes. Excellent Bavarian cuisine. Very good address

Highly recommended. It's not a huge menu, but it's plentiful and has a bit of everything. Super tasty and large portions. Very friendly service, but definitely reserve a table. The interior is quite small, so it fills up quickly. It would be a shame to be turned away because there are no more tables available.

Far away (!) from the center (appr. 2 minutes walk), nicely located in a quiet place, this restaurant offers delicious local food from Bavaria. The waiters are very friendly and warm; maybe a little outnumbered by the customers. The vegeterian Pfifferling (mushroom) dish was unbelievable, very fresh and nice sauce. The veal was also delicious, but the presentation is a little crowded (big plate, many ingredients, none of an order) The ground is slipping, be careful. We loved this place.

We ate here twice during our vacation. On our second visit, the kitchen had just closed, but we were still able to quickly order. The food is simply delicious, and the atmosphere is beautifully decorated, with lots of animal antlers on the walls. One server was a bit brusque, but that's really not something to judge the restaurant on; the other server was all the more cordial. All our requests were fulfilled, and even changing tables was no problem. We'd love to come back!

We were very pleasantly surprised by the food and service. The large portions were well worth the price. We highly recommend it to everyone.

Dear Sir or Madam, I was able to make a spontaneous booking with you as we were just passing through. I also inquired about card payments, which is very important to me personally, and that they offer them. The restaurant offers such an option, which I was pleased about. I ordered a German meal, which tasted very good and authentic, which I was pleased about. The sauce tasted salty, spicy, and peppery when I ate it. For starters, I had a large salad, which was beautifully and flavorfully prepared. The prices are reasonable for German food. The service regularly asked if everything was okay, demonstrated professional conduct, and the staff is very friendly towards the customer. The atmosphere is informal. The staff answer questions in a straightforward and straightforward manner. The ambiance is made of wood, which I found very nice, and I felt like I was in a familiar setting. I can recommend the restaurant to everyone. Best regards

To make a long story short: amazing place! One of the best the German cuisine we’ve ever tried! Big portions, balanced out taste, no matter what you try you should be completely satisfied! Highly recommend visiting!

Highly recommended, super delicious food. You do have to be patient; it took 45 minutes from ordering, but drinks came immediately. But it's worth it; everything was fresh, really tasty, large portions, and we had schnitzel. Nice, friendly service. It's a shame we only got there at the end of our vacation; the other places where we were weren't comparable.

A really nice restaurant in a very central location (pedestrian zone). The service is always attentive and friendly, even when it's full and the busiest. It's okay if the food takes a while. There's plenty to look at and a delicious beer. The wait is worth it, by the way. Tasty and nicely presented. That's how you feel good on vacation. Thank you very much and maybe see you in 2026. Finally, yeast dumplings! After almost all the food stalls (restaurants, inns, bars) from the Timmelsjoch to the Austrian border were closed due to the end of the ski season, we drove hungry all the way to Mittenwald in our Bavarian homeland. But then! In Mittenwald, there were several restaurants open, so we were spoiled for choice. We chose the Wildfang restaurant because they offered yeast dumplings on the menu. And then came the disappointment: The yeast dumpling was too firm, almost hard, not at all as deliciously fluffy as I remembered it from our ski vacations. I wouldn't order it again. On the other hand, the venison goulash my husband ordered was very tender and, according to my husband, the best he'd had in a long time. Somewhat frustrated, I ordered an apple strudel. It completely reconciled me: delicious, fluffy, exactly as it should be. The service was very friendly and attentive, so we'd love to come back. Haha, by the way, I had to chuckle at the kids' menu; it pretty much reflected our grandchild's food choices! 😁

Probably the best service from the waitress we’ve had since coming to Germany. Great menu, amazing food, and good prices. For lunch I had a small salad with the beef goulash and it was enough to fill me up. Our family will definitely be back.

We had dinner there with 6 people. Among other things, 2 children (5 and 6 years old). The service is very friendly, courteous and on point. Drinks were taken immediately and brought promptly. The food we ordered came after a short wait and was extremely tasty. Empty drinks were immediately “filled up” as requested. All in all, a very nice and enjoyable evening. We'd love to come back. What struck me as particularly positive was the interaction with the children. The waitress asked without being asked whether the children's food should be brought forward and then brought it with the adults' starter. Very attentive.

We were at Wildfang on Christmas Day and were thrilled that there wasn't just a small Christmas card. The atmosphere was very cozy and appealing. The staff, especially Miss M.😊, very attentive and friendly. We felt welcome straight away. The food was of great quality. Absolutely recommended. My personal highlight was the Penne a la Wildfang. Absolutely incredible experience. The service was fantastic. Came for lunch and sat outside, once it rained we were graciously transitioned inside and I can't say enough about the service of the waitress.
