Very attentive staff, great food.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful dinner at this restaurant and loved it from start to finish. The ambience was upscale but not over the top, creating a very pleasant and inviting atmosphere. We particularly liked the view into the open kitchen, which gave the whole thing a special touch. When it came to eating, we were supported in our selection by helpful recommendations. We chose steak, salad and dessert. The steak was grilled to perfection and the presentation of the dishes was simply outstanding. Every bite was a pleasure and the taste was great. The price was absolutely reasonable, especially considering the quality and excellent service. Of course it is a steakhouse, and we paid a total of €110 for a starter, dessert, two steaks (180g and 350g each) including a baked potato and three drinks each. In my opinion, this was absolutely fair for a successful evening. Overall, a great experience that I would happily recommend.

The Blockhouse can be found directly on Ulrichplatz. Here you have the option of sitting inside or outside. My recommendation is of course to get out in the fresh air, as there is almost no traffic here. So you can have a conversation there at a normal volume. The food is delicious and the price/performance ratio is also good. Only drinking is expensive. For example, a Spezi 0.33 l costs 4.70 euros.

I ate very well here and was served in an absolutely friendly and prompt manner. Because there was no (meat) weight on the menu, I was not disappointed with the small amount of meat in the filet mignon with two good side dishes. Only one of the two pieces was not as tender as I had hoped, which I pointed out in a friendly and understanding way, since meat is a natural product. I was still absolutely satisfied at a fair price and would be happy to come back. The piece of meat, which was fortunately slightly larger, was very tender and delicious, along with the good side dishes!

Definitely exceeded expectations

Food is delicious. But not all burgers are the same. Unfortunately here you only have a piece of minced meat, only a leaf of lettuce and no roll. The piece of minced meat lies on the garlic bread that is part of the “menu”. There are also more minced pieces to order, unfortunately our waitress forgot to mention this. Portions are sufficient.

Very spontaneously I went to the Blockhouse with my friend. We were welcomed and served very friendly. The steaks and side dishes were great! We were very satisfied. The ambience and atmosphere were great, and also comfortable.

The anticipation is great!! When it says we're going to the blockhouse. We love the fitness plate and are happy about the very friendly service.

Very nice to sit outside, long sun in summer. Quality always the same and good. Both meat and vegetarian. This time we had burgers, really great meat, juicy and fresh! Since there is little bread (can be put away without any problems), it is also good if you want to eat low carb. Service always courteous. What's really great is that there is free parking for guests on Maxstr. a real benefit.

Today I went to the blockhouse in Augsburg again, as I have often done before. The food is really tasty and very inexpensive, especially at lunchtime. The service is also very good. In any case, Dilek deserves special mention, as she always tries very hard and is always friendly.👍

Wie hat sich das gute alte Block-House verändert! Wir kennen es seit über 40 Jahren (aus HH, Mchn. und Augsburg). Von 4 Leuten waren 4 Leute unzufrieden! Fleischqualität minder (Flachsen, zuviel Fett etc); Salat lieblos (irgendeine Hasenfutter-Mischung, keine Champignons, keine Zwiebeln, keine Paprikastreifen - gerade mal eine dicke fette nach nichts schmeckende Tomatenscheibe); auch Sour-Creme und American Dressing nicht mehr in alter Qualität. Einzig der Ober - Herr Van (ich bin Chinese) - ist originell, bemüht und tüchtig. Deswegen 2 Sterne.

We went there without registering for our 85th birthday. Even though we had chosen a new table three times, everyone was friendly. We were treated to prosecco and a birthday card with a picture. Great idea! Steaks look good, potato gratin not so much as everything is pre-made by Blockhouse.

While looking for a good steakhouse in Augsburg, I came across the Blockhaus while strolling through the city. Even before the food was on the table, I was extremely impressed by the service. After I placed the order with my colleague, the waiter Benny immediately understood that we were currently following a keto diet and adapted our menu optimally and gave us great advice.

The food and service were very good! However, we were a bit disappointed because we had reserved especially for our son's birthday. We were promised a great scenario on the phone including dessert, music, etc. We were even asked for his name. However… nothing happened. Was it forgotten?! Very unfortunate 😓

We had a good meal with our children for our silver wedding anniversary. The service was excellent from our waiter Benny. We received good steak advice and information about the season when it was time for asparagus. Unfortunately, when we made the reservation on the phone, they didn't pick up on the fact that it was the celebration of our silver wedding anniversary. But that didn't detract from the good food and the lovely atmosphere. We will be happy to come back.

Today we and my husband had the worst steak, or I bit into it once and left it alone. It was more like a lump of meat, totally tough, briefly fried, almost raw and lukewarm. We actually wanted rib eye, the waiter Mr. Benny recommended 780 grams of another meat. We didn't actually want to, he said it should be 100 percent very tasty and soft. But unfortunately it was completely bloody like chewing gum. My husband and I left everything there, and the open potatoes were hard and cold. We paid another €84 for that!!! We'll never go there again. I don't recommend it to anyone

Even though we made reservations early in the morning, our name wasn't on the guest list. The receptionists gave us a table but didn't open it my satisfaction. Two other tables that I asked about were reserved. All good, but we also had a reservation?! So first impression 0 stars. (I must also admit that it is difficult for me to be satisfied on this topic. But a well-experienced staff can turn the situation in his favor.) With the current strategy, this is the reason why this restaurant will remain average and no higher than 4.3 stars. Since my wife was 20 minutes late, she asked if my wife would come at all since the tables were scheduled every 1.5 hours. Absolute no-go!! I've been to so many restaurants so far, but it's the first time I've experienced something like this being communicated with the customer. In a high-priced restaurant, I expect my drinking glass to be reserved without dripping from the dishwasher. Ultimately, I'm not in a snack bar. The cutlery was shiny and clean. The waitress was nice and I can't complain about the food. By the way, important tip: They have parking spaces in the backyard. (We didn't know it either, the search for a parking space was also one of the reasons why my wife was late)

Of course not the exclusivity and high-end like the Steak Manufaktur, but a solid steakhouse in a central location. If you don't feel like eating a large steak, the fitness pan with fried, crunchy vegetables and strips of beef steak is a good recommendation. 5 stars because the price/performance is right and the service too. Been there several times and consistent quality. The facility is also very pleasant; if you don't come at peak times, you usually have a free choice of seats in coordination with the staff.

I love going to Block House in Germany, they are a chain that started in Hamburg. This time my family was visiting the city of Augsburg, in Bavaria, for the Christmas Market! The food is always excellent, the steaks come as you ordered, the sides are huge. The staff is very attentive and the venue is always so cozy and neat! Recommended!

Overall, friendly SERVICE staff, especially the waiter of Vietnamese origin (during one visit, however, the waitress rarely stopped by in one corner of the restaurant and then it took a little longer). The FOOD basically tastes good, the salads are also recommended - I just didn't like the dessert (chocolate/lava cake with liquid filling). Overall, the AMBIENTE is beautifully furnished, both for 1-2 people and for larger groups. PRICES are very mixed - some dishes (such as Caesar salad or desserts) are relatively cheap, whereas other dishes (e.g. fillet medallions with vegetables) are significantly too expensive for the relatively small portion. Payment is easy with all common cards (including American Express).

Also ich war vom Ambiente und vom Service absolut zufrieden. (27.12.23) Leider fand ich, dass die Preiserhöhung in Form von "weniger auf dem Teller" dort schon stattgefunden hat, was bei den Preisen (für 4 Personen mit Getränken ca. 170 €) hätte mehr sein müssen - deshalb nur 3 Sterne.

ich war jetzt zum Wiederholten Mal in diesem Lokal in Augsburg, und würde gerne meine Eindrücke teilen. 1. Service Wir waren wie immer nachmittags, Lokal war gut gefüllt, aber es bediente nur eine Person. Diese war wirklich freundlich und sehr bemüht, aber alleine völlig überfordert, die Kollegin an der Theke hatte nichts zu tun, aber servierte die Getränke trotz Nachfragen nicht, Resultat Bier war abgestanden Wein war warm. Außerdem mussten wir beobachten das Sie die Reste aus 4 Weinflaschen zusammen geschüttet hat, und aus dieser Flasche dann serviert wurde. 2. Salat und Fleisch hervorragend, aber die Pommes und das Brot trocken und sicher die billigst mögliche Qualität. Das passt doch nicht zusammen, könnten bei dem Preis der ja nicht gerade günstig ist nicht auch vernünftige Steakhouse Pommes angeboten werden, für die man ja durchaus auch mehr verlangen könnte? Nach dem Motto ob ich 100,-€ oder 110,-€ bezahle ist doch sicher jedem Gast egal wenn er im Gegenzug eine gut Qualität erhält.

Wir wurden von der Bedienung Frau Dilek richtig mega toll und extrem aufmerksam verwöhnt,was heut zu Tage ja eher selten vorkommt! Superklasse war der Service und das Essen wie schon immer sehr sehr 😋 lecker!!!!

Waren als kleine Gruppe zum Mittagessen dort und haben das Mittagsangebot bzw. das Wochengebot genommen. Service war freundlich und nicht all zu zügig, war aber im Rahmen. Essen war gut und seinen Preis wert. Getränke waren etwas sehr hochpreisig, was aber das günstige Angebot wieder ausglich. Alles in allem ein gutes Mittagessen, das seinen Preis wert war.

Sehr gutes Essen zu einem angemessenen Preis und sehr freundliche Bedienung

Es gibt deutlich bessere Steakhäuser in Augsburg für das gleiche Geld. Essen teils kalt, fad und die Servicekräfte teils absolut überfordert gewesen. Kaum Parkplätze vorhanden, da bekannterweise Maximilianstraße.

Super gutes Essen, höflicher Kellner. Vlt etwas überzogene Preise und kleine Portionen, aber das was drauf ist, ist super!

Auch hier gilt: Man bekommt, wofür man bezahlt: die Preise sind absolut fair, das Essen schmackhaft und die Qualität nicht zu beanstanden. Dass man in einer Steakhauskette keine überragende Nachspeisenqualität erwarten kann und somit der matschige Mikrowellenapfelstrudel in Fertigsosse schwimmend vier Minuten nach Bestellung auf dem Tisch steht, ist dann halt so. Steak, Salate, Beilagen dafür TOP und nicht überteuert, Mitarbeiter*innen sehr freundlich und Ambiente absolut passend. Sogar kostenlos WLAN (null Mobilfunkempfang im Inneren des Restaurants) ist verfügbar 👍

Hervorragender Mittagstisch. Leckeres Steak, perfekt gebraten. Zuvorkommender Service.

Ich esse hier sehr gerne Stake. Das Ambiente ist gut und man fühlt sich wohl. Sobald mein in den Laden reinkommt wird man nett begrüßt (ist in Deutschland nicht immer der Fall). Der Stake wird sehr gut zubereitet. Medium ist wirklich Medium und Well Done ist wirklich Well Done. Der Koch kennt sein Handwerk. Der Beilagensalat schmeckt super. Vor allem mit dem American Dressing. Die Kellner sind freundlich und professionell. Nur die Parksituation ist schwierig. Man sollte am besten in der Tiefgarage parken, wenn man mit dem Auto unterwegs ist. Das sind ca. 5-10 Gehminuten vom Restaurant entfernt. Im großen und ganzen stimmt die Preis Leistung. Für eine 400g T Bone Stake, mit Getränk und Salat, Pommes und Kaffee zahlt man hier ca. 55€ mit Trinkgeld.

Ursprüngliche komme ich aus der Hamburger Ecke und wir habe viel Block House in Hamburg. Daher war mein Anspruch auch dem entsprechenden groß. Ich muss es sagen, es ist genau so lecker wie in Hamburg oder Lübeck. Danke für das super Essen, ich kann Block House einfach nur empfehlen.

Preis-Leistung passt nicht mehr ganz zusammen, die Portionen sind im Vergleich zum Preis sehr klein.

Sehr bemühter Kellner, der sich auch entschuldigt wenn es mal etwas länger dauert mit allem. Allgemein sehr tolles Ambiente mit reichlich Platz. Essen war auch sehr lecker.. allerdings waren die Speisen als Sie ankamen nicht mehr richtig heiß wie man es sonst gewohnt ist, sondern eher kühler. Vorallem die Kartoffeln oder das Fleisch. Eventuell wäre es hier denkbar, für ein oder Zwei Gerichten einen Lava Stein für den Tisch zu machen sodass man sein Steak selbst grillen kann und es dann noch sehr heiß ist. Ansonsten geschmacklich wirklich top.

Hallo, also wir waren zur Durchreise in Augsburg und dachten uns, gehen wir ins Blockhouse. Da wir den herzlichen und zuvorkommenden Service aus Berlin kennen, egal in welchen wir dort hin gehen. Ob am Alexanderplatz, Karl Marx Allee oder in Zehlendorf. Überall sehr nett und bemüht um den Kunden. Qualität des Essen war auch in hier in Augsburg wie wir es kennen, aber der Service ging gar nicht. Da meine Frau eine Magen OP hatte und auch dementsprechend auch ein Ausweis hat. Kann sie nicht mehr soviel essen, also nur noch Kinderportionen und keine Erwachsenen Portionen und trinken geht auch nur noch in sehr kleinen Mengen. Da hat meine Frau hoffentlichst gefragt ob es möglich wäre eine Kinderportionen und ein Kindergetränk (Kindergröße 0,2 Liter) zu bekommen. Die Antwort von der Servicekraft und der Chefin dort. Das ginge nicht und die Erwachsenen Portionen sind viel kleiner und sie müsse eine Erwachsenen Portion nehmen mit Salat und soweiter. Wir wollten nicht streiten und haben die beiden Gerichte für mich und meiner Frau bestellt und die kleine Ihre Pommes mit Rinderfilet. Es war alles lecker, vom Salat bis hin zum Essen keine Frage. Qualität war top. Hätte mir schon gewünscht zum Hüftsteck grobes Blockhaus Salz zu bekommen. Macht noch mehr her mein Geschmack her. Selbst zu Hause haben wir das grobe Salz vom Blockhouse und das Pfeffer. Wir sind es eben nicht gewohnt, wie man mit meiner Frau die ja alles vorweisen kann so umgehen kann und auch das man dann so hochnäsig als Restaurant Chefin sein. Also in Berlin egal wo, gibt es solch eine Art von Service nicht. Auch wenn es mega voll ist. Immer nett und zuvorkommend und immer eine Lösung inpetto. Hier in Augsburg war das Restaurant leer. Meine kleine hat um Ketchup gebeten und die Dame vom Service machte erstmal ganz Inruhe drei Tische sauber, bis meine kleine 5 Jahre nochmal vor ging um um Ketchup zu beten. Also wenn wir nochmal in Augsburg sein werden, werden wir dieses Restaurant meiden. Und lieben doch sehr die Blockhouse Kette in Berlin

Ohne Reservierung dierekt einen Platz bekommen, super freundlich und sehr gutes und leckeres Essen, Die Kellnerin war sehr freundlich und hat mir sogar ein gratis Bier gegeben weil ich halt bisschen warten musste ich sehr selten sowas. Würde ich auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und nochmal hingehen.

Das Fleisch war genau auf den Punkt gegrillt und es hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Sehr gemütliches Ambiente. Preis-Leistung stimmt auch und es hat nettes Personal.

Immer gerne dort gewesen und ebenfalls leckeres Essen gehabt! Heute ist es leider an einer Reservierung gescheitert, da die Dame am Telefon keine Lust dazu hatte. Meiner Meinung nach sollte Anna einen anderen Bereich betreuen, da ggf. hierfür die Kompetenzen weiter ausgebaut werden müssten. Nach meinem Empfinden war das geführte Telefonat Ihrerseits von Unfreundlichkeit, Überheblichkeit, Arroganz und purer Überforderung (mit einer solchen Kleinigkeit) geprägt. Es wurde ein Problem erzeugt, wo eigentlich keines ist. Wir sind nun in ein anderes Steakhaus gegangen und waren hier mit allem sehr zufrieden!

33 Euro Steak erst kalt, dann aufgewärmt, dadurch dann alles andere als medium...man hätte es neu zubereiten müssen. Keinerlei nette Geste als Entschädigung, voller Preis, fast 100 € für 2 Personen. Kann man sich sparen und wo anders lieber 20 € drauf legen. Hat abgebaut über das letzte Jahr. Schade.

Ich war dort in letzter Zeit zwei Mal zum Abendessen und war sehr angetan. Man bekommt dort auch mal spontan einen Platz ohne Vorbestellung, sehr schön. Das Steak Menü war außerordentlich gut und reichhaltig, mit einem großen Beilagensalat, Empfehlung! Die Dessertkarte sollte man sich unbedingt ansehen, lecker 🙂

Sehr gemütliches und ruhiges Restaurant. Es war sehr lecker und die Preise in Ordnung. Falls wir mal wieder nach Augsburg kommen essen wir auf jedenfall wieder hier.

Wir wollten Gegrilltes, also Fleisch, und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Das Restaurant ist gemütlich, der Service gut. Es gibt vor dem Lokal eine große Außengastronomie.
