We had dinner here with a large group. We liked the concept of free refills and being able to "cook" your own steak. The price is also reasonable for the quality. The ambiance is nicely decorated, but too large for my taste, so it's not very cozy. Two points of criticism: about an hour passed between taking our order and receiving our food. Secondly, the quality of the waiters varied; we were served by three different people. One waitress was friendly and professional. Of the other two, one was not very service-oriented, and the other was friendly but inexperienced. This isn't a problem in itself, but it's more fitting for a student pub than a high-end restaurant. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and these two issues can easily be addressed. We recommend it.

I ate at a steakhouse yesterday. The steak itself was good and delicious. However, the restaurant was very cold because the ventilation wasn't working and all the windows were open – which unfortunately resulted in uncomfortably cold feet. Another negative point: There was a small stone in my steak fries. That definitely shouldn't happen and significantly detracted from the overall experience.

As always, the food was excellent. The service was superb, friendly, and attentive. However, the kitchen ventilation system seems to be broken. Immediately upon entering the restaurant, you're hit with a very strong cooking smell. Even at our table in the back, the smell was pervasive. Something definitely needs to be done about this. That's why I'm not giving it 5 stars.

We've been to Abaccos several times before and have always been very satisfied. This time was different. The staff seemed completely overwhelmed. At first, the waiter brought the wrong salad, which we sent back. Then we ate, and the meat was good 👍. When the bill arrived for €380, we checked it and discovered that we had been charged for two drinks and one steak too many. We received a refund. The waiter then asked if we wanted a shot, but then he came back and said the manager had left and he couldn't do anything. Once home, we checked everything again and discovered that we had been charged for another expensive steak. When my husband tried to clarify the situation the next day, the same waiter claimed he knew exactly what kind of meat he had brought us and that it wasn't true. He argued for ages and only credited us for the cheaper item. This is no way to treat guests. We canceled our New Year's Eve reservation and won't be returning.

We found our steaks here to be very good, and of course, we appreciated the option of ordering additional side dishes free of charge. However, we have to say that the atmosphere just wasn't for us. The tables for two are crammed close together, so you feel like your neighbors are sitting right next to you and can overhear everything they're saying.

I had a perfect dinner tonight! From the waiter's professional briefing to the super-fast service and the ever-attentive waiter, everything was perfect. I'd gladly come back again! Two years later, I unfortunately can no longer stand by that assessment. Yesterday, 16 of us went out for dinner with work. The room was well-filled but not overcrowded. Nevertheless, our group only received one drink after 20 minutes, and the rest took a full hour after we entered the restaurant. The food then took another 30 minutes. So, a whopping 1.5 hours until we received the seared meat and the prepared side dishes. However, a colleague who ordered an appetizer and a salad as her main course received everything at once. And she was the very first to get it. She then only had to wait another hour for her food. It was simply awful and something I never experienced before. I've also heard from many acquaintances that the service has become terrible. Unfortunately, I can only confirm this. We won't be going there again. Far too expensive for such disastrous service. Sorry. Only one star for the good meat.

Great atmosphere and excellent service — the staff was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant has a really nice vibe. The rump steak was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and all the side dishes were spot on. The only downside was the sirloin steak, which didn’t quite meet expectations this time. Still, I’ll definitely be back — next time we’ll just try a different cut!

The food, the steaks, the side dishes, etc., were really good; there's really nothing to complain about. The steakhouse itself is also a great location with a lovely atmosphere. Now for the "but": The service was disappointing. I don't know if this is always the case, but: 1. We had to wait an unusually long time at the entrance before we were shown to our (reserved) table. 2. We then waited 15 minutes at the table before a waiter took our order. 3. Not only were some of the orders delivered incorrectly or in excess at our table, but the next table also received too much of their order. A request to add more sauce was completely ignored. 4. Two items from my original order were missing, and this was at 6:00 PM. All in all, this somewhat spoiled the evening, even though the waiters and waitresses themselves were very nice and friendly—but unfortunately, they seemed overwhelmed. And the restaurant was only about 60% full. For that price, you'd expect a bit more.

A good steakhouse, but unfortunately our evening wasn't perfect. The food tasted very good, the meat was cooked perfectly, and you could decide how to serve it on the hot stone. Cool. The quality of the meat was very good, tender, and very flavorful. The side dishes were okay, but could have been warmer. The spinach and potato gratin was lukewarm, and the fries weren't hot when they arrived with the steak; they'd been sitting for a while. The dessert was also delicious, but according to the waiter, the cheesecake wasn't from New York (as stated on the menu) but from somewhere else in America (oh well). The staff, however, was awful. At a restaurant like this, and especially at this price point, you'd expect the waiter to have a minute or two to spare—not a chance. They were very curt and not at all friendly. Okay, by the time we'd ordered everything, and at this price point, you'd expect a group of six to eat together and have their food arrive at the same time. Not a chance. Two dishes (I checked the time) arrived more than nine minutes after the first four. We only noticed this after asking about it. What was also disappointing was that we had the garlic bread as an appetizer, and it eventually came with the main course—by which time we didn't want to eat it anymore. We're still waiting for the bottle of water we ordered. What a shame. Well, we'll try it again sometime, but it really makes you wonder if you should go somewhere else. 😌

I booked online, which worked well. We were greeted warmly and served even more warmly. We were really looking forward to a delicious Argentinian steak and a good Argentinian red wine. But pure disappointment: they didn't have any Argentinian meat at the moment. Okay, then an Iberian pork steak. Yeah, right—also conspicuously absent! I can get a perfectly normal steak at any other restaurant. I felt sorry for the server when she had to tell us all this. So, two-thirds of the meat dishes on the menu were missing. But if you look at the website, you get the impression that the place is something special. In the end, no steak and no wine, just a quick salad and then straight out, because the ventilation obviously wasn't working either. It reeked of burnt grease the whole time. If it weren't so sad, you could almost laugh.

Not recommended – disappointing despite the staff's best efforts We went to dinner with a friend and unfortunately had to wait a very long time before anyone came to our table. While the staff was friendly and helpful, they were clearly understaffed – simply overwhelmed by the busy restaurant. The food finally arrived with a significant delay. The prime beef (USA) we ordered was unfortunately overcooked and disappointing in quality – tough and very marbled, which is unacceptable at this price point. Even refills (drinks, etc.) only arrived after repeated requests. Overall, a nice atmosphere, but the service and quality of the meat were disproportionate to the price. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it.

A very good steakhouse for special occasions, but also for discovering a slightly different kind of restaurant! The meat prices are expensive, but the meat is of high quality - so that's fine. I think the option to pay only once for different side dishes and reorder them for free is great! The ambiance is beautifully decorated, and the outdoor area comes into its own when the weather cooperates (it's covered, so you can dine even when it's raining!). The service is friendly and attentive, but I sometimes get the feeling that the waiters are very stressed, which leads to longer waits for drinks and food. Personally, I would like to see more ventilation installed here, as with busy customers, you often smell of smoke, and it gets quite stuffy if the windows aren't open. Otherwise, a great restaurant with an exciting way to grill your steak!

A complete disaster - a poorly thought-out concept with everything missing! 1.5 hours of waiting for a piece of meat that you grill yourself???? The effort involved in serving a sausage sandwich is greater & I find it completely incomprehensible how such a simple process could go so badly! Due to my worst fears, we were already reminded during serving - after 95 minutes, mind you - to please bring side dishes a second time as advertised to avoid further waiting. Another disaster here: after repeated reminders, the goods only arrived after the meat had already been eaten. For me, the system doesn't work here. Disappointing from start to finish! Augsburg definitely has better alternatives. Amazingly, everything worked smoothly in Ulm with the same number of people. This is primarily the reason for the criticism of the Augsburg management. You can also scare away your paying customers! Similar to McDonald's chain restaurants - only here the entire evening isn't wasted in one restaurant!

After numerous visits to Abaccos, last night was definitely our last visit. Saturday evening, 8:00 p.m. with a reservation. Upon arrival, the restaurant was about half full. The first thing we noticed when ordering steak: the 300g Argentinian sirloin steak was sold out. How could that be? An absolute classic wasn't available on Saturday night... Well, we opted for the rump steak instead. After that, we waited a full 60 minutes for our food. No info, no apology, nothing. How can it take an hour to sear two steaks and fry the standard fries? The food finally arrived, with no apology for the wait. One steak was good, but my husband's piece was a disgrace, consisting mostly of tendons and difficult to cut even with a steak knife. The herb butter we ordered was rock hard (probably fresh from the freezer) and couldn't be used at first. Our "hot stones," on which the steak was cooked to the desired doneness, were far from hot. Reordering a stone or new side dishes is generally extremely difficult, as the waiters tend to ignore you—despite your waving—or simply disappear completely. When we finally got the second stone, it was just as cold as the previous one. When I asked again if it was possible to get a hot stone, the waiter replied in a rude tone that they were busy and had run out of hot stones. (The restaurant was still only one-third full by then.) Remember: the steakhouse's concept is to finish grilling the raw steak on the hot stones! If they run out of stones on a Saturday evening when the restaurant is far from 100% full, it's either a complete lack of organization or absolute ignorance. This was followed by half-hearted "explanations" from the waiters and an attempt to salvage the ruined evening with a "dessert on the house." When we declined, no further solution was offered, no reduction in the bill, etc. We will definitely not be returning and will not recommend Abaccos to anyone.

We've been here several times, but yesterday was probably the last time. This restaurant used to be our favorite in Augsburg, but a lot has changed, which no longer justifies the high prices. An Italian Spritz for almost €8 was a glass full of Prosecco with water, the sirloin steak wasn't marbled but full of gristle, the vegetables were out (on a Saturday night!), the fries were floury, and the sweet potato fries were cold twice in a row. My stone didn't work well; the meat stuck to it so I couldn't even get it off properly. The service was lacking. All in all, it's just not up to par for the price. A real shame...

Too bad, the wrong side dishes were delivered. By the time the right thing was ordered, the meat was already overcooked, and dinner was ruined for me. Mistakes can happen anywhere. If they're discovered, how do you react? Do you give the dissatisfied guests a free dessert, a coffee, or something else...or do you simply bring the bill and just do what's normal? There's definitely a lot of room for improvement here.

Yesterday, a group of six of us went to Abacco's for the first time. We'd heard nothing but positive things from our friends and family. Unfortunately, I have to say that our visit was disappointing. The food was good overall, but the service could have been improved and wasn't appropriate for a restaurant with high standards. When the food was brought to the table, I asked for ketchup – but even after asking four times, it wasn't brought. The restaurant advertises a free reorder of side dishes. However, it's quite difficult to find a server and get their attention. When the side dishes were finally reordered and brought to the table, something was missing from our order again. When we weren't asked if everything was okay when paying, I brought it up myself: The food was very good, but the ketchup wasn't brought despite repeated requests, and something was missing from our reorder. The server's response was rather rude: "It's very busy here, so things like that can happen." This surprised me greatly, as it wasn't the customers' fault, and I don't think the restaurant was full. I've never had such an experience at other steakhouses. I'm pretty sure: I won't be visiting Abacco's again.

The restaurant is located across from the Plärrer and is beautifully laid out. Its terrace is particularly lovely in summer. The food is fresh and lovingly prepared. Side dishes cost extra, as usual, except for the "house fries." Great 👍 Sauces are included and can be reordered as often as you like (barbecue, garlic, horseradish). The staff is friendly, competent, and not pushy. 😉 The value for money is excellent. Card payments accepted. We'll definitely be back. 😊

We've eaten at Abacco's Steakhouse a few times and always had a positive impression. Our last spontaneous visit with three people was all the more disappointing. The start was promising – quick table service, quick menus – but then a completely different picture emerged. Our server seemed to have disappeared. While other tables were served regularly, we waited over 20 minutes before we could even order – and that was only because we actively asked. Even here, they could have at least taken our drink orders earlier. The fact that the desired wine wasn't available is bearable, but that was just the beginning. The wait dragged on throughout the entire evening. We had to wait over half an hour for our food – and even then, the two dishes weren't served at the same time. Given the concept of cooking the meat at the table itself, this wait is hard to understand. We were also served the wrong salad, briefly questioned, and immediately cleared away. There was no apology either during this or when the correct salad was served shortly afterwards. The cocktails were unfortunately no savior either. We had originally ordered a Whisky Sour and an Espresso Martini – the latter is even the only drink featured on the menu. However, we were told it couldn't be prepared at the moment, so we ended up ordering two Whisky Sours. Especially for a signature drink, the only one featured in this case, the ingredients should always be available – it's extremely disappointing for guests and rather embarrassing for a restaurant with such a reputation not to be able to offer such a drink. Unfortunately, the two Whisky Sours were no alternative either: They were more reminiscent of thin lemon water with sugar than a classic drink – no trace of whiskey. Visually unspectacular, taste insignificant. The Mango Mojitos served later (as an apology from the house) fell into the same category: watery, practically alcohol-free, and carelessly prepared. The biggest annoyance, however, remained the service. Our server was repeatedly missing for extended periods – even when the restaurant was already significantly emptier. After more than 30 minutes of no attention, we had to ask for payment at the bar. Only after another wait did another server come over, apologize, and offer us drinks on the house. A nice thought, but one that couldn't save the evening. All in all, the visit was a bitter disappointment. In a more upscale restaurant, you expect significantly more in terms of both service and drinks. Perhaps it was a slip-up, but we won't be visiting Abacco's Steakhouse again anytime soon.

Awesome restaurant You grill your own steak on a hot stone. It comes with three sauces and homemade fries. The food was delicious, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and very attentive. The cheap steaks were all sold out – whether that's just bad luck or a system is debatable. The wait for our food: over an hour. Even the bread we ordered didn't arrive any faster, which is a no-go for a restaurant in this price range. The service staff seemed completely disinterested, almost listless. Anyone who would rather drink coffee somewhere in the civil service probably shouldn't work in the hospitality industry – that's exactly how it felt: lots of standing around, little engagement. A one-time visit – definitely not a second one.

Ein tolles Konzept und schöne Lokalität, jedoch ist die Qualität des Essens nur mittelmäßig. Das Steak war ganz ok, jedoch die dazugehörigen Pommes sehr trocken. Diese möchte man dann auch nicht kostenlos nachbestellen. Das Brot bzw. Baguette geschmacklose Aufbackware - schade, es gibt hier gute Bäckereien und ein Bezug von den hiesigen Bäckern wäre doch möglich. Der César Salat - geschmacksneutral - schon viel bessere gegessen. Frechheit ist der Preis der kleinen Schälchen, insbesondere da anscheinend nicht frisch zubereitet - die Zwiebelsauce hatte oben bereits eine Haut. Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Fazit: in der Anfangszeit war deutlich mehr los und bei unserem Besuch gähnende Leere. Kann ich jedoch nur subjektiv bewerten. Schade, hier steht anscheinend Konzept vor Qualität - werde so schnell nicht wieder kommen, da es qualitativ bessere Steakrestaurants in Augsburg gibt.

No response on Instagram - so I'm posting here: For my mother's birthday, we wanted to spend a special moment and decided on Abacco's Steakhouse. The concept there: The steaks are served on a hot stone slab, and you cook them yourself at the table to the desired doneness. Since my mother is in a wheelchair after a stroke and is physically limited – she can only use one hand – I asked the waiter if they could cook her steak to medium. The answer: no. Okay. That's why I deliberately ordered a large 500g steak (€59.90), which I wanted to cut and cook for both of us. I could just as easily have ordered three small steaks (€19.90 each) – the price would have been almost the same. So it wasn't an attempt to cut costs, but purely out of consideration for my mother. The manager came to our table and, in a rather patronizing tone, pointed out that sharing a steak between multiple plates was "not permitted"—each person had to order their own steak. According to him, these were the internal guidelines. In a nearly empty restaurant (only two or three other guests at lunchtime), the whole thing seemed simply excessive and unwelcoming. A lack of consideration—very disappointing. Are these really your rules? Then please state it clearly on the menu: "Each person must order their own steak—sharing is not allowed." And then you have to be honest: people with limitations or disabilities are simply not welcome here.

We arrived at Abacco's Steakhaus Augsburg with high expectations, as it's advertised as one of the best steakhouses in Germany. Unfortunately, we were thoroughly disappointed. The concept of having beef served "English" and cooking it yourself on a hot stone is certainly a matter of taste – we personally didn't like it. What was absolutely incomprehensible to us, however, was that the chicken also arrived raw and had to be cooked yourself – an absolute no-go from a hygiene perspective. The service unfortunately didn't live up to the high standards the restaurant aims to convey through its prices and appearance. Even at the beginning – when it was still quiet – the staff was inattentive. Empty bottles were taken without comment as people ran past (some even literally "hopped" through the restaurant) and without asking for new drinks. The dishes weren't served at the same time, so everyone ate their food one at a time – not a communal dining experience. We ordered a bottle of wine with the main course. We weren't initially told whether the wine we wanted was available. After a long wait and repeated inquiries, a bottle finally arrived – without any comment as to whether it was the wine we wanted or an alternative. The discussion about additional butter was also unpleasant. Although there were four of us and we had already ordered several portions, we were advised against two more – on the grounds that "enough had already been ordered." The waiter also mentioned that he earned a commission on additional sales, but that he "really wouldn't recommend" it. With a per-head turnover of around €120, the request for a little more butter shouldn't be a problem – especially since we, as guests, want to decide what we order. The sparkling wine service also lacked professionalism: The cork wasn't secured, the bottle was simply held on the table – at other tables, the sparkling wine even overflowed. Overall, everything seemed disorganized, hectic, and unprofessional. While the restaurant's decor is appealing, the overall impression was more of a "fancy atmosphere without the corresponding level of cuisine and service." When you cook your own meat, get fries from a deep fryer, and drinks are served with a delay and without explanation, the high prices are hard to understand. For us, it was a disappointing evening – we had expected much more. There are definitely better restaurants in this price range. In our opinion, this is by no means the "best steakhouse in Germany."

I've visited Abacco's many times and have been very satisfied every time! The restaurant is quietly located on the Wertach River and boasts a modern, stylish ambiance with warm furnishings and a glass facade that creates a welcoming atmosphere. The terrace is especially beautiful in nice weather. The steaks are simply unbeatable – high-quality, sustainably raised meat, such as the juicy US Prime Rib-Eye or the Argentinian Rump Steak, is served on a 400-degree hot stone, allowing you to control the doneness. This is not only fun, but also keeps the meat piping hot until the end. The homemade "Sössli" (sausages) and crispy house fries are a perfect accompaniment, as are fresh side dishes like the coleslaw. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and offers competent advice without being intrusive. Even when the restaurant is full, service runs smoothly, and special requests are happily accommodated. The prices are absolutely fair for the quality, the generous portions, and the special experience. This isn't just a meal, it's an event. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Very interesting concept. You prepare your own steak using a hot plate. Unfortunately, our steak was delivered medium rare, so we didn't get to take full advantage of it. The restaurant was very accommodating, but they also included desserts on the house. The streak was still incredibly delicious, and you could order side dishes again after paying once. Definitely a must-try.

It's important to note that there's no grill master here. Guests have to cook their own meat on a hot stone. In my opinion, this somewhat diminishes the typical roasted flavors of grilled meat. Otherwise, it's very nice!

Leider war das Personal sehr unfreundlich. Es gab keinerlei Kommunikation – lediglich ein kurzes „Was darf’s sein?“ und das war’s. Es wurde nicht einmal nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Der Service wirkte kalt und desinteressiert. Insgesamt ein enttäuschender Besuch.

First and foremost: The meat quality is top-notch - anyone looking for good steaks in a modern, appealing atmosphere has come to the right place... But: The gastronomic concept only works to the extent that the staff are capable of implementing it. The service was friendly, but overwhelmed and haphazard. Orders had to be reminded several times, and a promised explanation of the principle behind the hot stone was completely missing. The stones were heated to different temperatures - my US prime steak with a fat edge splattered everything on the table within a one-meter radius with fat. Another rump steak wasn't even close to medium-rare by the time the plate cooled. It's nice that you could theoretically reorder all the side dishes for your steaks several times, but if the service staff doesn't respond despite repeated attempts to attract your attention (clear beckons), you get relatively little of that. In general, it seemed to me that the staff only noticed a certain clientele and worked extremely slowly. The place was about one-third full. The side dishes are very bland and tasteless, and apart from the very good fries, they're not my thing. One batch of salad was dripping with house dressing. Another had almost none at all. I realize that good staff is hard to find these days, but as long as the negative experience outweighs the positives, I'm unfortunately out of the question!

This was our fourth, but unfortunately last, visit. As nice as the first time was, the crowds disappeared just as quickly. On May 31, 2025, we reserved a table for 6 people. The receptionist asked in surprise (6 people?). Then we followed her inside. There was still room on the terrace, but not for us. That's fine, right? Then a table was set up (even though we had reserved in advance?) and the menus were placed on the table. After a while, a waitress came to take our drinks. She was friendly, but when we ordered our food, she had to inform us that most of the steaks on offer were unavailable. The problem was that they only had steaks 400 grams and larger, which is too big for our female companions and me too. When we asked why we hadn't been told this in advance, the lady (I'm just a waitress here) suggested we get the manager. He then came and asked us what was going on. He explained that they had little meat in stock so they wouldn't have to throw anything away. So why do we make reservations, so we can plan ahead? When asked what options were available (to find a solution), he stoically repeated that they only served large steaks. When asked whether a 400-gram steak could be made into two 200-gram portions, for example, he categorically denied it. When asked why he hadn't been informed of the restrictions when making the reservation, he told us: "We don't do that." The ladies were essentially "out" because the relevant portions weren't available. Then they suggested we leave. And that was the last straw! We did that, and we certainly won't be coming again. Last time, we were already out of many side dishes, and this time we were treated condescendingly by a member of the staff. Personally, I don't believe the gentleman was a member of management, as there was no willingness to find a solution or even regret regarding the situation caused by poor planning. Every waiter is taught how to deal with customers, de-escalate a situation, and find solutions during their training. Arrogance doesn't help much, except to keep wealthy customers away in the future. And that worked. It's a shame that such a great restaurant in Augsburg, which actually wants to offer a special experience, distinguished itself on this visit through poor planning and unfriendliness (to say the least). And the information that we could leave the restaurant instead of looking for solutions or at least apologizing for the situation means that we and a large part of our circle of friends will not be coming back. Then again, the Steakmanufaktur, where guests are still treated like guests. Building a good reputation takes a long time and is a combination of team spirit, ambience, and performance. Destroying a good reputation can happen quickly and is difficult to heal. Please consider this criticism a lesson learned for your behavior toward new or existing guests. Bernhard Huber

First class food. My steak was served on a hot stone. It allowed me to decide if I wanted it cooked rare, medium, etc. The staff were fantastic. We ordered a bottle of wine which was decanted into a jug, something rarely seen nowadays. Reserve a table with confidence. They will look after you.

I'd been to Abacco's before and had a good experience, so I wanted to show the restaurant to friends and celebrate a special occasion there. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing. About half of the menu was unavailable – we weren't informed of this beforehand. Only one person in our group actually got the dish they originally wanted to order. The usual steak-cut fries were replaced with simple frozen fries, which significantly diminished the quality of the food. The meat itself was, as usual, excellent and tasted of a high standard. It's all the more unfortunate that the rest couldn't keep up. I didn't really want to blame the waitress, but when I was paying, the card reader offered a 10% tip – or €20 – as the lowest option. I didn't think it was justified considering the overall experience, so I didn't leave a tip. The waitress then left without a word, which unfortunately reinforced the negative impression. It's a real shame – I actually had fond memories of the restaurant.

Wir waren jetzt das vierte, aber leider das letzte Mal hier. So nett es beim ersten Mal war, so schnell hat es abgebaut. Am 31.05.2025 haben wir einen Tisch für 6 Personen reserviert. Die Empfangsdame fragte verwundert nach (6 Personen?). Dann folgten wir ihr in den Innenraum. Auf der Terrasse war zwar noch Platz, aber nicht für uns. Das ist ja noch i.O. Dann wurde erst ein Tisch zusammengestellt (obwohl im Vorfeld reserviert war?) und die Speisekarten auf den Tisch gelegt. Nach einiger Zeit kam eine Bedienung um die Getränke aufzunehmen. Sie war freundlich musste uns aber bei der Essensbestellung mitteilen, dass ein Großteil der angebotenen Steaks nicht verfügbar sind. Das Problem war, dass es nur noch Steaks mit 400 Gramm und größer gab, was für unsere weiblichen Begleitungen und auch für mich zu groß ist. Auf die Frage warum uns das nicht im Vorfeld mitgeteilt wurde, schlug die Dame vor (Bin hier nur Bedienung) den Chef zu holen. Dieser kam dann und fragte uns was los ist. Er erklärte, dass sie wenig Fleisch im Bestand haben um nichts entsorgen zu müssen. Warum reservieren wir dann, dadurch ist der Verbrauch planbar? Auf die Frage welche Optionen es gibt (Lösungsfindung), wurde stoisch wiederholt, dass es nur große Steks gibt. Auf die Frage, ob aus einen 400Gramm Steak z.B. 2x 200 Gramm gemacht werden kann, verneinte er kategorisch. Auf die Frage warum er nicht über die Einschränkungen nicht bei der Reservierungen informiert wurden, teilte er uns mit: Dass machen wir nicht. Die Damen waren dadurch eigentlich "raus", da die relevanten Portionen nicht zur Verfügung standen. Darauf wurde uns vorgeschlagen, dass wir auch gehen können. Und das schlägt dem Fass dem Boden aus! Das haben wir dann auch gemacht, werden sicherlich nicht mehr kommen. Bereits beim letzten Mal war ein große Anzahl der Beilagen aus, diesmal wurden wir von einem Mitarbeiter des Hauses, auch noch von oben herab, behandelt. Ich persönlich gehe nicht davon aus, dass es sich bei dem Herren um ein Mitglied aus der Geschäftsführung gehandelt hat, da keinerlei Lösungsbereitschaft oder auch Bedauern bzgl. der durch Fehlplanung herbeigeführten Situation herrschte. Den Umgang mit Kunden, Deeskalation und Lösungsfindung bekommt bereits jeder Kellner bei seiner Ausbildung vermittelt. Arroganz hilft da wenig, außer zahlungskräftige Kunden zukünftig fern zu halten. Das ist gelungen. Schade dass in Augsburg ein solches tolles Restaurant, welches eigentlich ein besonderes Erlebnis bieten will, sich durch Fehlplanung und Unfreundlichkeit (gelinde gesagt) bei diesem Besuch ausgezeichnet hat. Und die Information, dass wir das Lokal auch verlassen können, anstatt Lösungen zu suchen oder sich zumindest zu entschuldigen für die Situation, führt dazu dass wir und auch ein Großteil unseres Freundeskreises nicht mehr kommen werden. Dann halt wieder die Steakmanufaktur, da wird der Gast noch wie ein Gast behandelt. Sich einen guten Ruf aufzubauen dauert lang und ist ein Zusammenspiel von Teamgeist, Ambiente und Leistung. Einen guten Ruf zu zerstören geht schnell und ist schlecht heilbar. Nehmen Sie diese Kritik bitte auch als "lesson learned" für das Verhalten gegenüber den Gäste die noch oder neu zu Ihnen kommen. It's a shame. We had a good meal there last time, but this time our visit was terrible. First, it took about 20 minutes for us to get our drinks and our food orders to be taken. We wanted another drink before we got our food, and again we had to repeatedly alert the staff. I wanted to try a patty and cook it only medium-rare, to my liking. When it finally arrived, it was already completely cooked and burnt black on one side. The flavor was therefore very mediocre. The caramelized onion sauce, which I was really looking forward to, was completely missing. The meat from my companions was also quite cooked. After about 10 minutes, the waitress asked if everything was okay. She completely ignored my "no," turned around, and disappeared. She didn't appear again until we wanted to pay. The terrace was full, but there were only about 20 people inside. So, it wasn't a packed house. With a bill of €200 for three people, I expect more from a restaurant. I won't be coming back.

If you are looking for a steak meal at the highest level, Aboccos is the right place. The higher price range is definitely justified by the outstanding quality of the meat. I've never had a steak of such quality before. Preparation at the table on the hot stone works excellently. The meat takes on color quickly and everyone can prepare their own meat the way they want.

Great restaurant with lots of space, chic and modern furnishings. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The meat selection is very good, a wide variety of cuts in different sizes. I really liked the preparation on the hot stones; the steaks are delivered to the table “kissed by the flame” and can be cooked there as you wish. The meat quality was absolutely top, no tendon or anything like that. The taste was just as convincing. The included fries were OK, the 3 sauces tasted good. You can get a second helping of this upon request - with only a short waiting time. The only point of criticism was the Abaccos Special Salad - this was actually a bit special, it was delivered as half a head of lettuce. Difficult to eat and overall quite a dry affair despite the small bowl of dressing. I see some need for optimization here. Nevertheless, I was very satisfied and can absolutely recommend Abacco's to steak lovers.

I was really disappointed with my visit to Block House Augsburg. The food arrived completely cold and the wrong order was wrong – and instead of apologizing, the owner was extremely disrespectful and unfriendly. Such behavior is absolutely unacceptable. Never again!
