Very tasty meat, expensive but good

I know the restaurant from before when it was still called Fischerstube. In contrast to back then, today you should book your place in advance. The food is delicious. Since it is served on the hot stone, you are guaranteed to enjoy a great steak right up to the last bite. The selection of meat is exceptional, at least for Augsburg. There are parking spaces directly in front of the restaurant and a few around it.

There were 4 of us here today. Quality leaves a lot to be desired. Waited 40 minutes for the starter. 35min for main course. The stones were already cold when they arrived. The meat was tough and rubbery. Price performance definitely no longer applies here. Not recommended anymore.

We have been to ABACCO'S many times, but unfortunately the quality and service has decreased so much that I will no longer come here in the future. I used to be a real fan of the store, it's a shame...

I applied to this restaurant, did a 3-hour trial work, and never received any follow-up about whether I was accepted or rejected. After a few months, I applied again and was invited to come in, bringing all my documents with me. When I arrived, I was told that there was a mistake and they were rejecting me. It’s frustrating and unprofessional that I wasn’t informed earlier, especially after spending my time coming in for nothing. At least send an email letting applicants know they weren’t chosen instead of wasting their time. Extremely disappointing experience.

Unfortunately it wasn't as good as last time, the grilled vegetables didn't come, even though the man grilled the steak himself on the hot plate, it took a long time until it was at the table.

Keller didn't know his drinks or his menu and he should have looked at the device he was going to use to take the order first. Meat quality was good. Since every table roasts its own meat and the ventilation is too weak, the whole restaurant stinks. Price performance is definitely not justified.

It's a splendid place! Basically the waiter, after ordering, brings you a "plate" with two stones: one cold and one hot. The steak is on the cold one and they give it to you almost raw, you can then cook it however you want (rare, medium rare and so on)! The food is excellent, the place too, and the waiters are all helpful. The food arrives very quickly precisely because they almost don't cook it. I would like to give it 5 stars and praise.

We were there for dinner on December 20th with 8 people. The food and the quality of the food are 1a. Steaks were very tasty as were the side dishes we ordered. The home-made fries would have taken a little longer. Unfortunately, the service (at our table) was a bit disappointing. 35 minutes until we got drinks, another 30 minutes later we were able to order the food starting from the starter to the main course. Waiting time for the meal was 50 minutes! A repeat order was even forgotten. The restaurant was certainly very busy, but other tables that came after us were served much faster and also had their food before us. The ambience itself was very nice, but the large room had a background of noise that made it almost impossible to have a conversation with the other person. Very nice restaurant, The waiter was reserved and friendly, made you feel welcome and gave useful tips. That's exactly how I imagine it. The food was super good. You sear the outside of the meat with a hot stone and then finish cooking it on the stone as you like. That was an experience. The waiter was attentive and offered new hot stones to cook on his own. Top. I also think the prices are OK for a steakhouse. (the portions are larger than usual in a steakhouse) We will definitely be back :-)

The beauty of the restaurant ends in the toilets. Although the restaurant is not that old, the toilets really need to be renovated. No disinfectant for the toilet seat or hands. No automated dispensers. The cabin door is so broken that it's almost impossible to close. The toilet lids are in such bad condition that they need to be replaced. Even though it was around 6 p.m., both toilets were so dirty that you lost your appetite. Try to do something about the smell with scented sticks. However, the fragrance sticks were not changed as often as the fragrance. Therefore the wooden sticks are already rotting. I was really very shocked!

The meat, service and the ambience are simply top. People like to go there for a business lunch or a date. Highly recommended

We had our Christmas dinner here, our mistake. A steakhouse is of course unsuitable for this. You can make a turnover of €1,000, but you should then leave the field as quickly as possible. The table was taken again. You could also let us know when you make your reservation. Service quite slow but very friendly!! The food was very tasty throughout. When it comes to steaks, there is something for everyone, even in terms of price. Starters and desserts are quite expensive considering the quantity. At peak times the background noise is almost unbearable. Completely inappropriate background music also contributes to this. So, going out for a leisurely meal in the evening is not the case here. But it was still packed - I don't need it anymore.

The thought of the meat sizzling in front of you was already cool in advance. We then tried that out and yes…. You can do it. The meat was good! I found it a little too unsalted and I missed the side dish with special salts. Couldn't do anything with the included dips. The herb butter also tasted bland. And what I can't stand is when the fries aren't crispy. It was too doughy for me. The sweet potato fries were better. I will still come back to try it again. Then I'll probably know better what to order. Overall 3 stars from me. Maybe next time there will be 4 😊

Super nice restaurant and the food is extremely tasty. The rump steak was perfectly done. And you could order as many side dishes as you wanted. The homemade lemonades are recommended. What is extremely annoying, however, is the smell of frying, as the meat is fried directly on site. When the restaurant is full it smells really bad and in the end you and your clothes smell like steak.

Great restaurant. Cool idea to roast “meat” yourself on the hot stone. Fries are included free of charge (as are three sauces) and can be reordered free of charge. Furthermore, every supplement ordered can be reordered free of charge. Nice service...delivery was made at any time!

The two of us were eating there. We reserved a table via the homepage, which worked brilliantly. We were there about 35 minutes earlier - very nice reception and shown straight to our table. Food was super tasty, the waitress had forgotten our garlic bread, which we then told the branch manager (because he asked if everything was ok). He apologized several times, although it wasn't that important to us - we were just amazed at the great quality of the meat. Ultimately, the gesture of apology was two espressos at the end. A very successful evening, courteous staff, in no way over-excited or played nice. We will be back and highly recommended!

If you're looking for a good steakhouse, this is the place for you. The food was very tasty and there was a good selection. You could grill the steak yourself on the hot stone as you wish. You could reorder the side dishes you ordered with your steak as often as possible free of charge. Simply great! The desserts were also really good. The staff were all very welcoming. Definitely coming back.

Went to this castle this evening, 5 people - paid 231 EUR. First of all, the good - cold outside, warm inside with a slight hint of grease burn. What wasn't right - poor service, concept of mini raclette without cheese (hot stone) impossible to achieve an acceptable result. What else can I say 20 minutes? From ordering to drinks, 15 minutes from drinks to ordering food. Starters only came after we asked, 45 minutes later. Courage the words, there was probably a communication problem. Another 20 minutes later a partial success of 4 out of 5 meals, and the 5th came 10 minutes later, but two of the hot stones were already so cold that you couldn't do anything with the meat, so I ordered a new stone and that came too I actually asked 10 minutes later. Overall, this visit was the worst I have experienced since the Corona pandemic. Here you can clearly see the shortage of skilled workers, as gigolos were recruited as service workers here. I can justify the theory because at the tables where young women were sitting, the service staff stopped by every 4 minutes to offer Schäfers and himself and his services, but everyone did other tables were not even noticed. How about the tour itself going undercover into your restaurants to see the misery there. Maybe you can change something so that the price and the desired statement also match the performance. I have already seen better service and a better price/performance ratio in Frittenbuden than in this castle. This wrong transfer doesn't earn another euro from me!

We went to this restaurant for the first time yesterday and were pleasantly surprised. When you come from the RV park and see the restaurant from the back, you don't necessarily expect such a good restaurant. The interior design is really nice (just as others have written, the tables are a bit narrow) and exudes its own, well-thought-out touch. The menu is good and the idea of ​​the hot stone is good, the quality of the meat is great and has an excellent taste. The sustainability of the breeding is described in the card, we are only missing the labels, in our opinion they are very important in times of green washing. A highlight at the end was the wine knowledge of the very friendly and polite waiter. We were very impressed by his knowledge of the smell of the wines. The second Lugana wine was very convincing and I think it's a shame that I didn't write down the name. Maybe he still remembers our visit yesterday. The restaurant is highly recommended and the high ratings in the reviews are absolutely justified.

The loud music is totally annoying. It gets louder and louder because you can no longer understand the other person. The hot stone thing is nice, but otherwise the prices are exorbitant. This is definitely not my number 1. Fast processing so that the table can be released to the next guests as quickly as possible. No feel-good effect. In any case, no more coming. There are better steakhouses in Augsburg.

No matter - anyone who thinks they're fancy gives free reign to paper money. Cloth napkins. Hot stone for individual cooking level of the very good meat, good idea. Attentive, pleasant service, probably trained internally. I had to wait 15 minutes for the third portion of fries. Ketchup costs an extra 90 cents per serving. Breaking down the invoice is not necessarily possible. Toilets are very clean, some a bit tight. Still, all in all - I'd rather eat somewhere else again.

The food was great and the side dishes were offered to be refilled. The only thing we didn't like was the service. Sometimes we couldn't be found or when we called other waitresses to order something else, we weren't allowed to do that because it only works with this one waiter, which isn't a bad thing, but it would have been nice to at least let our waiter know. Unfortunately there is no good communication between each other.

Had a delicious meal at Abaccos after visiting the zoo. Great idea with the hot stone where you. You can then grill your steak the way you want. The service was very friendly and accommodating. Steaks very tasty but not exactly cheap. All in all we will come again.

I really have to say, frying the steak yourself is a great concept! You pay for the supplement once and always get one for free. The ambience is very nice and pleasant. The employees are very friendly and always there. So the waiting time is really short. A huge compliment to the kitchen for the excellent food and it's worth every cent!

Pleasant restaurant with really good food. I think the concept with the hot stone and “find your own cooking point” is great. The restaurant is chic and functionally furnished. Due to the really late visiting hours, it was relatively empty during the week, but this quickly changed by the time we left! Due to the low number of visitors, the staff were committed and did what they were supposed to do! The food was great, the quality of the meat was top notch and the various side dishes went very well with it. The “all you can eat” approach to side dishes has something, but in my opinion it is more of a lure. I loved the horseradish sauce with the steak! All in all, the price you pay is completely justified and definitely worth another visit or two! The only small drawback: explains to people how best to fry and, most importantly, cut which meat and cut!! A flank steak cut with the grain could quickly attract negative reviews as it would then be very unpleasant to eat.

Schönes Ambiente! Wir waren an einem Donnerstag recht früh (17:00) dort und hatten noch freie Platzwahl. Im Laufe unseres Aufenthaltes füllte sich das Restaurant noch. Freundliches und vor allem aufmerksames Personal. Die kleinen Dinge machen einen guten Service aus! Weiter so! Unser Fleischstücke (US Flank und arg. Rumpsteak) waren echt lecker und die Qualität war top!! Toll ist auch, dass bei dem Gericht Saucen und Pommes beliebig nachbestellt werden können, ohne Aufpreis! Selbst als wir kein Fleisch mehr auf dem Teller/Stein hatten, konnten wir noch Pommes nachbestellen. Die Meerrettich und BBQ Saucen sind mein Favorit! Endlich schmeckts auch mal nach Meerrettich! Als Beilage habe ich noch Coleslaw bestellt. Der war fein (hab in Deutschland schon schlechtere gegessen), hier ist aber noch Luft mach oben. Ob in einer Restaurantkette eine Rezeptur so einfach geändert werden kann.... ? Auch die Gäste an den anderen Tischen sahen sehr zufrieden aus. Jung und alt waren vertreten. Wir kommen wieder!|

Parking is great (probably not so good when it's busy) 🙋🏽‍♂️ Staff is super nice and friendly, definitely made the stay pleasant, we felt very well looked after. 💰 Reservation can't hurt even though we still had plenty of free time outside during the week. Good quality meat combined with friendly service. Meat is served on hot stone plates so that you can determine the degree of doneness yourself. There is a cucumber salad here that tastes like it was made by grandmother. Price wise for the quality and not really above the prices of other steakhouses

Was in this steakhouse for the first time today. After we were friendly escorted to the table and the order was taken, my little furry friend was given fresh water. The drinks were nice and cold. The food was a dream. House salad, cucumber salad, house fries, the herb butter, the steak on a hot stone and the sauces are a real taste experience. There are also bibs if desired. It was very accommodating to my almost blind mother. The extremely friendly waiter asked several times if everything was OK. What a beautiful experience. I'll be back.😋

Eigentlich war das Steakhouse sehr gut.Aber bei meinen letzten Besuchen hatte ich das Gefühl Qualität und Service lassen stark nach. Essen wird vergessen das nachordern klappt nur nach wiederholter Aufforderung freiwilliges Nachfragen beim Gast ob noch etwas gewünscht wird ist nicht erkennbar Vorbeihetzen an leeren Gläsern geht nicht Schade da das Ambiente eigentlich passt. Wer hohe Preise aufruft muss auch den notwendigen Service bieten

The steaks are always very tasty and of good quality. We like the hot stone concept. Also that there are always fresh stones when the old ones get too cold. The house fries are good and can be ordered free of charge, as can all the side dishes. There is delicious bread to go with the butter. There are bibs for adults if you're worried about your top. The homemade lemonade is particularly refreshing in summer. The meat comes from America and Argentina.

DIY grill house...... Sunday afternoon, with my wife - not much going on - Our first visit Abacco's and probably the last one too. Nice ambience - nice restaurant My wife had a fillet - could be finished cooking on the hot stone. That was fine with my wife. I wanted an arg. Rib Eye 400gr. 49.9€ - I wanted it "medium rare" - not on the hot stone - The waiter then said to me: "Then you're in the wrong place"... not a good start... you could have just explained that Here everything is served on the hot stone... I didn't comment on this unfriendliness. We wanted garlic bread beforehand...this came with the steaks...garlic bread was good. My 400 gram rib eye came "English fried" on the hot stone... everything in this restaurant comes "English" on the stone. When I cut the steak, I couldn't cut it properly because there were thick tendons everywhere next to the fat eye were... no matter where I cut it... well... The waiter wanted to bring me a new steak because he also saw that my meat was not edible (plus point).. but I had already lost my appetite... . I finished dissecting the steak... - the waiter gave us a hot drink (2nd plus point)... I've been to a lot of different steakhouses - My expectation when it comes to a piece of meat for €49.9 is that my steak is served to me with the degree of doneness I want - I wanted to go out to eat, not grill it myself - and now I'm getting an inedible one I was probably unlucky when I received a piece of meat... The 2 points in my rating are for the ambience and the "compensation espresso"... If you want to cook your own steak for a lot of money, this is the right place... Personally, I prefer to do it at home... I want one in a restaurant I got good meat with the desired degree of doneness... Unfortunately, this option is not available here. In hindsight, I should have believed the waiter that I was in the wrong place...

Sonntag Nachmittag, mit meiner Frau - nicht viel los - Unser erster Besuch bei Abacco´s und wohl auch der letzte. Schönes Ambiente - schönes Restaurant Meine Frau hatte ein Filet - konnte auf dem heißen Stein zu Ende gegart werden. Das war für meine Frau in Ordnung. Ich wollte ein arg. Rib Eye 400gr. 49,9€- Ich wollte es "medium rare" - nicht auf dem heißen Stein - Der Kellner sagte dann zu mir: "Dann sind Sie hier falsch"... kein guter Start... man hätte auch einfach erklären können, dass hier alles auf dem heißen Stein serviert wird... Ich habe diese Unfreundlichkeit nicht kommentiert. Wir wollten Knoblauchbrot vorab...dies kam mit dem Steaks... Knoblauchbrot war gut. Mein 400 Gramm Rib Eye kam "englisch gebraten" auf dem heißen Stein... alles kommt in diesem Restaurant "englisch" auf dem Stein.. Als ich das Steak anschnitt, konnte ich es nicht richtig schneiden, da neben dem Fettauge überall dicken Sehnen waren... egal wo ich geschnitten habe.. nun ja... Der Kellner wollte mir ein neues Steak bringen, da auch er sah, dass mein Fleisch nicht genießbar war (Pluspunkt).. aber mir war der Appetit bereits vergangen... Ich habe das Steak noch fertig seziert... - der Kellner hat uns noch ein Heißgetränk ausgegeben (2. Pluspunkt)... Ich war schon in sehr vielen verschiedenen Steakhäusern - Mein Anspruch bei einem Stück Fleisch für 49,9€ ist, dass mir mein Steak mit meinem gewünschten Gargrad serviert wird - ich wollte ja essen gehen, nicht selber grillen - dass ich jetzt ausgerechnet noch ein ungenießbares Stück Fleisch erhalten habe war dann wohl Pech... Die 2 Punkte in meiner Bewertung sind für das Ambiente und den "Entschädigungs-Espresso"... Wer für teuer Geld sein Steak selber garen, bzw. grillen möchte, ist hier richtig... Ich persönlich mache das lieber zuhause... Im Restaurant möchte ich ein gutes Fleisch mit meinem gewünschten Gargrad erhalten... Dies kann hier leider nicht geboten werden...
