Das Essen im Joes la Perla ist super lecker, alles kommt heiß und frisch auf den Tisch. Lecker geschmeckt haben auf jeden Fall die super zarten Rippchen, die Wings, der Quesada und der saftige Burger. Die Nachspeise mit flüssigem Schokokern war der Hammer! Das Ambiente erinnert an Urlaub, die schöne Beleuchtung macht tolle Stimmung und der leckere Joes Marguerita im schönen Glas hats in sich :D . Die Bedienungen sind sehr freundlich und kompetent! Das Restaurant ist ein riesen Gewinn im Schlachthof-Quartier. Wir freuen uns sehr über die Eröffnung und werden regelmäßig vorbei schauen!

Anyone who loves burgers and beef is well served here and gets their money's worth

We had a wedding with around 50 guests on Saturday, July 19, 2025. The service staff kept an eye on the guests at all times and responded immediately when reorders were needed or food needed to be warmed up. The ambiance in the Schlachthof is very attractive due to the old brickwork, and the rooms create a very comfortable atmosphere. The dishes ordered in advance were brought to the tables. Drinks were ordered individually. The Schlachthof is a highlight in Augsburg, and it is truly worth a visit, even for two or in smaller groups. Advance reservations are recommended. My thanks to the event organizer Jazzy, who had everything under control at all times and who allowed us to decorate the catering rooms and dance floor two days in advance, Thursday. July 19 was a very relaxed evening in the Schlachthof.

The food (cheeseburger €11 and sweet potato fries €6) was okay. It's a shame you have to order everything separately. That makes it quite expensive. For the price, the bun was too crispy and dry. There wasn't enough sauce either. The elderflower-lemon lemonade (€4.90/500ml) was just still water with lemon. Too expensive for what it was. The service was very friendly and fast. Overall, though, everything was okay.

Die Location ist soweit OK, aber der Service lässt zu wünschen übrig. 20 Minuten Wartezeit für Getränke ist nicht akzeptabel. Die Ofenkartoffel war nicht richtig durch - das sollte ein Koch schon sehen. Nachspeise wurde nur auf Anfrage angeboten - obwohl nicht wirklich viel los war. Der Höhepunkt des Abends war aber die Bezahlung - ich wollte die Rechnung (ca. 85€) mit einem 100€ Gutschein begleichen. Scheinbar was ganz neues, denn weder Bedienung noch ihre Chefin, wussten wie man das ins System eingibt. Als die Bedienung mir dann gesagt hat, ich soll lieber Bar zahlen, denn die Höhe des Gutscheins ist zu hoch, bin ich etwas lauter geworden und wollte mit der Chefin sprechen. Dazu kam es dann nicht und der Restbetrag wurde ausbezahlt. Fachkräftemangel ist scheinbar wirklich ein Thema beim Schlachthof :-)

Cleanliness & Organization: The entire restaurant makes a very well-maintained impression. Tables and restrooms are always clean, and processes – from check-in to payment – ​​run smoothly and quickly. Value for Money: Absolutely fair for the quality offered. The portions are generous, the ingredients are high-quality, and the enjoyment justifies every euro. Conclusion: The Schlachthof Augsburg restaurant is a top address for anyone who wants to enjoy excellent food in a special atmosphere. Whether for a relaxed dinner, a business lunch, or a special occasion – you will definitely not be disappointed. Clear recommendation – I would love to come back!

There were five of us. The atmosphere is pleasant and inviting – ideal for a relaxed meal with friends or family. The steak was simply outstanding – perfectly grilled, juicy, and full of flavor. The meat quality is noticeably high, and the side dishes were also fresh and well-matched. I particularly liked the fact that the meat was prepared exactly as requested – they know their craft here. The service was friendly, attentive, and quick, without being intrusive. Even small special requests were fulfilled immediately and with a smile. An all-round successful experience – I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates a really good steak.

We spontaneously stopped by for dinner today, with a reservation, which was definitely a good idea, as the restaurant was busy. Our server was exceptionally friendly and very accommodating. Our food was delicious, the meat was of truly excellent quality, and everything tasted great! Thank you for the delicious food👍❤️

What a treasure we found. Not even sure where to start.....but this place is mind blowingly good! We had such a hard time trying to choose what to order since everything sounded amazing. We had the steak which was cooked to perfection and the Chili Cheese Burger with Cheese Overfloat. What a spectacle. As sides we had mac and cheese, onion rings and Truffle Stampf (mashed potatoes will never be the same again!). And for desert we enjoyed the Pineapple Blaze and the Toasted Donut. I cannot wait to go back and try more of this menu! And not to forget the glitter cocktails.

There were nine of us at Schlachthof Augsburg – and what can I say: It was a true experience for all the senses! I had the Smoker's Plate, and it was simply phenomenal. As soon as it was served, this wonderfully smoky aroma hit your nose, immediately making you want more. The meat was cooked to perfection, beautifully smoky on the outside and with a wonderfully aromatic crust, tender and juicy on the inside – you could immediately tell that true professionals were at work here who knew their craft. Whether it was brisket, ribs, or pulled pork – every single element was perfectly balanced and of impressive quality. The side dishes were also absolutely convincing: From creamy coleslaw to spicy BBQ beans to fresh cornbread – everything went together perfectly and completed the overall package. The portion was more than generous, so no one left the table hungry. The service was friendly, attentive, and pleasantly relaxed despite the busy restaurant. Drinks arrived quickly, special requests were fulfilled without discussion, and the advice on food choices was competent and honest. The atmosphere at Schlachthof is quaint, modern, yet cozy—perfect for an evening with friends or colleagues. You can tell the passion and attention to detail goes into the work here. In conclusion: If you love BBQ or just want to enjoy something special, this is the place for you. The Smoker's Plate is an absolute must—and my visit to Schlachthof Augsburg will definitely not be my last.

The food and service were very good, unfortunately it gets a bit noisy when there are more people there. Nevertheless, we will definitely come back for delicious meat!

We came for the 4-course menu for Valentine's Day and unfortunately we were very disappointed. Our waitress tried to take our drink order without showing us the wine list. When we had questions about the wines available, she didn't explain the list to us or let us know what was available. She also never asked about us or our food, she just put the plates down and didn't come back until she came with the plates for the next course. Most of the food was good, but after the soup and salad we expected our waitress to come over and ask us how we wanted our steaks cooked. In fact, the steaks were simply delivered to our table without anyone asking how we wanted them. Both of our steaks were pretty badly overcooked, but no one came over to ask us how they were. We had very expensive and beautiful pieces of meat, but we had a hard time even cutting or chewing them because they were so overcooked. We came expecting a nice meal in a welcoming environment, but instead my partner and I felt uncomfortable and unwanted, and the service and the steak, in a nice steak restaurant, were poor. When I reserved a table for the menu I felt like it was a good deal - I left the restaurant feeling like I had paid way too much. I can say with certainty that my partner and I will not be returning and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone wanting to go out for a nice steak. I posted the above review over 2 years ago, and to date (04/22/2025) the restaurant has attempted to have the review removed from Google three times - all three times I was successful in my appeal and the review being reinstated. Once the Schlachthof restaurant claimed that I had not visited the restaurant at all, which I was able to refute with documents. Twice the Schlachthof restaurant claimed that I had committed defamation, which I was able to refute because I was simply describing my experience - I did not defame anyone. At least one of these attempts to remove my review was made by a private company that had hired the Schlachthof restaurant to remove bad reviews, whether or not they were true reviews. Who knows how many bad but true reviews could be removed this way.

An den Knoblauchgarnelen fehlte Grundwürze mit Salz, sie waren deutlich kleiner als beim letzten Besuch und bestenfalls lauwarm. Das Bienenstichtörtchen mit „Eierlikörsahne“ enthielt zwar Sahne, aber keinen Eierlikör. Das erste Mal, daß wir nicht begeistert waren - schade...

Interesting culinary area, which has been lovingly prepared and "The Slaughterhouse" is one of several locations on the site. The ambience is appealing, cozy and the service is top notch. It was tasty.

Were at the beef tasting today and were absolutely thrilled. For us it felt like it was our own noble garden party. The staff was super nice and very communicative, you could really tell that they were passionate about it 🫶 Would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Very friendly reception without reservation. We had burgers and they were very good. Unfortunately the fries were missing, were delivered later and were not charged for. Homemade lemonades are also very good. Super friendly service. Prices okay too! Fully recommended.

We've wanted to go there for a while and were really excited. Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed. The flank steak was too dry for my taste and the fries weren't particularly crispy either. But what tasted very good were the homemade lemonades and the corn ribs. Nevertheless, if we feel like steak again, we would prefer to visit other restaurants in Augsburg.

Man konnte von der LiveMusik leider nichts hören. Tische waren zu eng gestellt. Service war zu wenig und die wenigen waren somit überfordert. Schade, da ich regelmäßig zu euch komme.

The food was really very good, but the portions (example: prawns, lamb) were a bit poor compared to other Augsburg steakhouses: three tiny slices of white bread and a glass of salad with the prawns as a side dish. In my opinion, the wine price is not ok: There are e.g. B. of red wine either a bottle (0.75l) or an eighth(!). The price for 0.125l was on average 6 - 7 euros. This means that the otherwise quite common 0.2l glass costs around 11 euros. That's really steep for an Augsburg steakhouse in the middle segment.

Super friendly service. After the operations manager (Jazmina) noticed that one of our group was celebrating his birthday, she came over with a bottle of Prosecco on the house and congratulated us. We went to the Route 66 Buffet. Large selection. Tastes good and sufficient. We'll be back

Enjoy your meal. It's a shame it's taking so long. Not recommended for families: the restaurant only has two children's chairs. Additionally, our waitress was very rude and unaccommodating. Politeness would be the least I would expect. I would like to come back for the food. But not if my family and I have to risk being served by the same waitress again.

We love going here and would come again and again. However, today we were there with four small children (4, 3, 2 and 1 year old). The waitress seemed a bit stressed and sighed as the children ran around - there were only two other tables occupied. That was fine with us, but what I found really rude was that she opened the kitchen door quite abruptly without checking to see if anyone was passing by. She almost hit my daughter. She saw what happened but didn't apologize. We were there right at 5:00 p.m. precisely because we were traveling with children and wanted to get there before most of the other guests. A little more understanding that small children cannot always sit still would have been greatly appreciated.

Great ambience. Food ok but partly cold so we went back. Service underground. Drinks last 20 minutes. No glasses, no cutlery when eating and so on... orders are only taken from part of the table, etc. I won't be back, especially since the prices are already high

Nice restaurant in itself, but the burgers didn't impress us in terms of taste, as we had gotten much more delicious burgers at another restaurant nearby for the same price. In addition, the chicken fingers were a bit dry and the cheese sauce that came with it wasn't very strong in taste either. But I have to say that the service reacted nicely and understandingly to our criticism and compensated for the problem, which I think is a very good thing.

Very spacious and good for celebrations

Schönes Ambiente, sehr nette Bedienung aber: Essen ambitioniert und nicht ganz billig, in der Ausführung aber allenfalls mittelmässig. Maronensuppe mit vielen Maronenbröseln drin, dafür vom Trüffelöl geschmacklich völlig überdeckt- hier wäre weniger vielleicht mehr. Übersichtliches Filet Mignon- zu dünn geschnitten- dadurch deutlich Mediumwell statt medium. Als Beilage wurde einfach eine Hand voll Maroni auf den Teller gelegt. Hier ehrlich: entweder „fancy“- dann macht Euch die Mühe und macht ein Maronen-Kartoffelpüree ( hier aber richtigen Maronenreis verwenden!) oder lasse es einfach- Kartoffelspalten oder Bratkartoffeln sind auch ok! Sonst lange Wartezeiten bei den Getränken, ständig wurde etwas gebracht, was keiner bestellt hatte, beim Abräumen „kann ich bitte mal den Teller haben“ usw…. Hier ist vom Gesamtpaket viel viel Luft nach oben.

Were there with 14 men. It's all ok. From steak to hamburgers to delicious spare ribs, everyone was happy with their food. Service was quite accommodating. We'd love to come back.

We've been enjoying coming to the restaurant for years, the garlic prawns as a starter and then a rib-eye steak afterwards are the best ;) Our regular service always makes our visit a lovely evening where you feel good. Our son already feels at home there 😂 Thank you very much J.....a ;)

Tolle Location, sehr gemütlich, das Essen hervorragend, die Bedienungen sehr freundlich und aufmerksam! Hervorheben möchte ich Jasmina, die stets zur Stelle war und alles im Griff hatte! Service staff courteous and very nice It was a very nice evening, nice atmosphere Potential for improvement: Steak was on the table after 51 minutes - in my opinion it took too long Steaks and baked potatoes were only lukewarm - this could certainly be better There were a lot of service staff present, but in my opinion no one was able to keep track of things because everyone was also serving. The helicopter view was simply missing.

We have on December 7th. married in the Schlachthof Restaurant. From the very beginning, Jazmina advised and supported us as an “event/wedding planner” on behalf of the restaurant. She was flexible, always open and very, very likeable. The location was really well prepared on the 7th. We decided on a simple, cozy set-up and took care of the decoration ourselves. The brown brick building, inside and out, harmonized perfectly as a winter location and our guests were more than pleased. We chose the Route66 buffet, which the restaurant is known for. And it didn't disappoint at the wedding either. It was tasty and varied (meat, fish, vegetables) as well as well presented and here too the guests were more than satisfied. It was a great wedding, the team in service and in the kitchen with/behind Jazmina was very friendly, very hard-working and uncomplicated. Jazmina, our contact person, was always available during the wedding and open to all of our wishes. It was perfect and we and our guests fell into bed more than happy afterwards. Many thanks to Jazmina and the entire Schlachthof team for this unforgettable afternoon/evening and night :-)

There is a Route 66 Buffet every first Saturday of the month. We were able to enjoy this. The reservation etc. went smoothly. Parking spaces were plentiful. The buffet was plentiful and constantly refreshed. Especially the meat and the burgers and hot dogs that you could serve yourself were excellent in terms of taste. The service was always on point and very accommodating. All around a very harmonious experience. The fact that the American flag was used as a tablecloth might bother a patriotic American, but fortunately that's not me.
