I was in the beer garden on Saturday August 17th, 2024. Terrible. The food was served like this (unfortunately I didn't take a picture, no one will believe me). Schnitzel with cheese spaetzle, the schnitzel was ok but the spaetzle was served in a metal (canteen bowl) that was in the plate. So sry but for around €25 I really expect something different. I will never go there again, the first and last time.

Were there as a family. Staff seemed understaffed and hectic. Food was mediocre but expensive (city...). However, the milkshakes were great.

Das Essen war sehr gut, die Servicekräfte sehr nett. Wir hatten einen Tisch draußen. Als es plötzlich anfängt, stark zu regnen und alle nach innen stürmten, blieben die Kellner ruhig und haben das Chaos sehr gut gemeistert.

Wie bisher immer war der Service perfekt, das Essen gut, das Ambiente angenehm. Ich bekomme dort jedes Mal jeden Wunsch erfüllt und fühle mich sehr wohl.

Very friendly service. Great atmosphere and the food was fantastic. Four of us ordered the 2kg Holy Trinity platter. The meat was perfectly fried. A recommendation for everyone are the baby back ribs. Would come back to eat here at any time.

The service is still the best. To be honest, everything else is more bad than good. Atmosphere is like in a train station hall. Quality of the fillet is underground. The meat has no taste and is completely tough. You would expect it to be different in the slaughterhouse. Unfortunately, Spritz is not only disappointing, but rather a rip-off. Just ice cream. Hardly any liquid. Price performance doesn't fit here at all. Sorry.

Wie immer sehr lecker. Service auch wie immer top. Nur leider sind die Preise gestiegen und die Portionen kleiner geworden.

Wir wurden von 3 Servicekräften bedient, so dass wir nicht wussten wer das erhalten Trinkgeld soll. Es gab so leider kein Trinkgeld.

Food was delicious, had the meat platter for 2 people with beef brisket, pulled pork, baby back ribs and a tiny portion of fries. We sat outside and the service was very slow, even though there were only 4 other tables occupied besides ours. Even just bringing cutlery upon request after the food was already there took a very long time.

The food wasn't legendary, but very good. If you want to eat good American food, you should go here. We had a lovely evening, which we ended with cocktails.

Immer wieder ein Genuß, nur schade, daß normalerweise Sonntag mittags nicht mehr geöffnet ist. Sonst könnten wir öfter kommen.

What a treasure we found. Not even sure where to start.....but this place is mind blowingly good! We had such a hard time trying to choose what to order since everything sounded amazing. We had the steak which was cooked to perfection and the Chili Cheese Burger with Cheese Overfloat. What a spectacle. As sides we had mac and cheese, onion rings and Truffle Stampf (mashed potatoes will never be the same again!). And for desert we enjoyed the Pineapple Blaze and the Toasted Donut. I cannot wait to go back and try more of this menu! And not to forget the glitter cocktails.

Sehr gutes Essen, schönes Ambiente, aber leider ziemlich teuer. Kann ich aber trotzdem sehr empfehlen.

Ein Besuch wie ein kleiner Urlaub im American Style

We were there for Father's Day and the offer was really great. Dinner platter for 2 people was really more than enough and everything tasted great. Only €44 is really cheap these days. Plus a liter of beer on the house as a Father's Day offer that's really unbeatable. It was super crowded and people thought it might take a while to eat. Nevertheless, it came quite quickly and everything was warm and fresh. At the end there was a surprise voucher for the next visit. We'll be happy to redeem it.

Tolles Restaurant mit schönem Ambiente und übersichtlicher Speisekarte. Das Essen und die Getränke waren gut und ausreichend. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den freundlichen und humorvollen Service - da fühlte man sich willkommen.

Went to the BBQ today. Really tasty !! Brisket, short ribs, burgers etc etc. Everything at its finest!! We'll do it more often now.

Ideal for an informal evening with friends

Angenehme Gaststätte, urtümlich, rustikal .Das Essen war sehr wohlschmeckend, das Bier kam bei den Männern auch sehr gut an. Die Bedienung war nett und zuvorkommend und geduldig, da die Auswahl etwas länger dauerte. Trotz letzter Gäste und Feierabend, wurden wir mit dem Nachhauseweg nicht genötigt.

The four of us had an incredibly great evening in the slaughterhouse. Great food, great ambience, incredibly nice waitresses, first class service, pleasant music in the background 😀 Thoroughly recommended.

We had a very good dinner in a beautiful location. The service was simply great. We were allowed to try the wine we had chosen first and were then fortunately able to switch to the waitress's recommendation. Super accommodating, friendly and funny. Jasmina was one of the best service staff I have met in a long time. I would like to give the service 10 stars, unfortunately a maximum of 5 is possible 😉👍 We'll be back!!!

Good evening, we were at the Route 66 buffet evening with friends today. Everything went well, it was a successful evening, a very rich buffet with various side dishes. Totally friendly service, also many thanks to the kitchen staff!!! We would love to come back! Drinks were absolutely delicious, especially the lemonades! Espresso/coffee from Dinzler!

The Schlachthof Restaurant is a cool location with a warm bar lounge atmosphere. Food is great, steaks are top notch, highly recommended tuna steak. Side dishes freely selectable, with a large selection. Very personable, attentive and quick service - thank you Jenny for a lovely, delicious birthday meal for our son. Small criticism: if you mention your birthday when making the reservation, you can also congratulate and I think a tiny gesture might be appropriate :-) Nevertheless, recommendation and thumbs up!

We were there yesterday and had a meat platter for 4 people. Everything was very tasty and we were served friendly by Max. From the hot chocolate to the meat plate, everything is tip top! Gladly again

We were treated to a department lunch and chose the slaughterhouse in Augsburg. We had made a precise landing. The atmosphere in these old factory walls always has something nostalgic about it and there was enough space so that we all had space at a long table. Max, probably the nicest and most patient waiter in the world :-) gave us very professional advice and skillful service. Each of my colleagues was completely satisfied with different steaks and very cool sauces and side dishes. Even vegetarians got their money's worth with the range of side dishes and there were also delicacies on the menu for vegans. Some of us also had dessert and praised it too. The lady who cleared the room also fascinated us with her skills! All in all, a very successful evening that we still like to talk about and that certainly wasn't our last at the slaughterhouse. Gladly again! We were told that in the summer you can also sit and enjoy outside - we will remember that

The atmosphere is very pleasant and the tables are generously placed. We were there in a larger group and from the starter to the main course to the dessert, the food was excellent. Max took great care of us throughout the evening!

Got a table spontaneously on a Saturday evening. The burgers 🍔 were very good and the great service from Jazmina and her team make it an absolute recommendation.

Top! There have been ups and downs in quality over the last few years. But apparently that has now come to an end. Saturday evening with friends, we were well entertained. Pastrami burger was a hit, super tasty and fried to medium rare! The side dish portions could be larger. Mac&Cheese was boring, but it should actually be different. There is a wide variety of food to try. That's why we'll be back soon! Keep it up 👍 oh yeah, service very friendly and competent

My husband and I are visiting Germany from the US. We spent the whole day sight seeing and stumbled onto this steakhouse. We were not sure what to expect since the website, online menu, and reservation website were all in German. We were a little nervous of how the atmosphere would be since we dont know the languauge. But the service was awesome! Max greeted us at the front, took us to our table and served us. He answered all our questions and made sure we were happy with our food. My husband had beef short ribs. I had the Mighty Shovel with pulled beef. The food was great. Service even better. We would definitely come here again!

We've had dinner there several times. The food so far has always been good and reasonable for the price, we were particularly impressed by the spare ribs and the burgers. We were well served today by lovely Max :) We've never had any problems finding a parking space, just park on the street.

Cozy, excellent idea of ​​corn on the cob as an appetizer, I ate a good hamburger. Worth a try if you are in the area.

We've been there several times now and have never been disappointed. The food is always great, the service is fast, attentive and incredibly friendly. Max deserves special praise here, great entertainment, immediately on hand, loves what he does. Price-performance fits here. Cocktails are well mixed in contrast to other locations (not watered down by too much ice and no skimping on alcohol). Parking is possible in the surrounding area, but sometimes difficult. We had another great evening and will definitely come back.

Unfortunately I can only give a mediocre rating here. We went for dinner a week ago with 4 adults and 1 child. And I have to say compared to the last time in November 2023, the prices have increased dramatically. We had eaten about the same as last time, starters, 4 large main courses, each with dessert, and some drinks. We paid almost €250 for it. Last year we paid €186 for it. I don't think this can only be attributed to the increased VAT. The price screw was turned upside down. And the highlight is that you charge €5.50 for 1 liter of sparkling tap water, which is outrageous. We won't be eating at the slaughterhouse again any time soon. Pricing should be reconsidered.

The food was incredibly bad. I didn't eat it and ended up paying €100.

Wir waren gestern im Restaurant zum Route 66 American Buffet. Wir waren so enttäuscht wie schon lange nicht mehr. Das Beste war der Rotwein, das Bier und das Walnusseis. Sehr fettiges Fleisch das leider nur lauwarm oder kalt auf nicht vorgewärmte Teller kam. Qualität und Geschmack war das nicht. Dafür gabs Salate die nach nicht viele schmeckten und Pommes aus der Warmhalteplatte???? Geht gar nicht, Matschepommes. Der Erste Bissen in die lauwarme BBQ Rinderbrust, nur Fett. Der Abend war gelaufen. Enttäuschung pur.

Der Rumpsteak hat das letztes wo ich bei ihnen war ca. vor 14 Monate hat viel besser geschmeckt. Diesmal war es nicht so lecker wie vorher.

Great service, felt very comfortable. Unfortunately I didn't get the right table despite ordering online. Unfortunately the fries aren't that crunchy, but the ribs melt in your mouth!!

Essen war sehr lecker nur für den Preis Portionsmäßig etwas zu klein. Die Musik von der Lautstärke lieber im Hintergrund laufen lassen. Ansonsten Super Service!!

Um ehrlich zu sein, entsprach der gestrige Besuch nicht unseren normalen Erfahrungen. Meiner Meinung nach gibt es die besten Steaks in Augsburg normalerweise im Schlachthof, besser als im John Benton, besser als im Block House. Gestern habe ich, weil es ein besonderer Anlass war, das Ribe-Exe-Steak bestellt, das am teuersten ist, im Gegensatz zum normalen Steak, das etwa 10 Euro weniger kostet. Allerdings waren nur die ersten 25 % wirklich köstlich, der Rest war ziemlich knorpelig. Die Kellnerin nahm meine Kritik höflich und ernst und bot mir als Entschuldigung einen Kleinigket an. Ich vermute, dass dies an diesem Abend einfach nur pech war. Ich denke immer noch, dass der Schlachthof eine gute Adresse für Steaks ist.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Der nette Kellner hat uns gleich auf die am Mittwoch günstigeren Spare Rios hingewiesen. Wir wurden immer gefragt ob alles ok sei, ob wir noch Getränke brauchen. Service wdr Top! Essen lecker!!!! Wir kommen wieder 😀

I ate a sirloin steak there with cole slaw and fries. There was no spicy tomato dip (it's available everywhere else). So we ordered ketchup which costs €0.50 and is served half full in a tealight glass. There were also side dishes in homeopathic doses (approx. 20 chip sticks and approx. 3 tablespoons of ColeSlaw). The steak was well cooked and of medium quality, €23.90, side dishes > €4 each. In my opinion, price/performance is bad. There are much better steaks in Augsburg e.g. Abacco's, steak same price including fries and dip!

Terrible service we went to celebrate and the waitress forgot to bring my order, my family waited to eat all together until after 20-30 minutes I asked for my dish. They ended up eating cold food. Then we ordered dessert New York cheesecake ☹️ it is nothing what we expected (no strawberrys) and tasted as it was on the refrigerator for several days. We will never go back again!

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, kommen gerne. Wer ein ruhiges Restaurant sucht für gewisse Gespräche, muss sich ein anderes suchen. Außer wenn der Biergarten geöffnet hat, dann hat es einen anderen Geräuschpegel.

Wir waren schon mehrere Male da, sehr freundliches Personal, Essen sehr gut, klare Weiterempfehlung.

Die neue Preisgestaltung mit überteuerten extra auszuwählenden Beilagen finde ich nicht gut. Deshalb die Abzüge bei der Gesamtbeurteilung.

Das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Preislich weit oben angesiedelt. Essen geht leider in eine US Richtung wie Burger Schwerpunkt usw. Nun ja das muss man mögen. Personal sehr freundlich!

So my better half and I live at the other end of the city. That means we're not there that often. But 2-3 times a year. We love the steaks and the ambience. We have never had any complaints about the service. The steaks are great and the kitchen always gets medium-rare and rare right. Unfortunately, this is not a given elsewhere.

We had a very nice evening in a welcoming, cozy atmosphere. We were all completely satisfied with the food, but a little more side dishes could have been served. Particularly noteworthy was our nice waitress Jasmina. She looked after us very courteously and we didn't lack for anything!

We were warmly welcomed. The service was super nice. The lighting at the table was nice, but too dark, reading the drinks menu was a challenge. We found the food really tasty and lots of it. Unfortunately there were no shellfish or steaks. Which was of course also due to the price. The drinks were incredibly delicious and were celebrated beautifully by our waitress.

Das Essen war extrem lecker, mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Wir waren schon öfter zu Gast und jedes Mal sehr Begeistert. Jasmina ist jedes Mal sehr kompetent und super freundlich. Von uns eine absolute Empfehlung.

Die Preise der Speisekarte online stimmen mit der Live Speisekarte nicht überein. Teilweise macht es die MWSt.-Erhöhung aus, teilweise ist es von Grund auf deutlich teurer. Wir kannten noch den „alten“ Schlachthof und waren daher ein wenig enttäuscht. Neutral betrachtet ist es aber ein sehr gutes Restaurant mit hervorragenden Produkten; mir ist es kein typisches Steakhouse mehr. Trotzdem würden wir es erneut aufsuchen.

Wir waren zum 1. mal im Schlachthof Restaurant.. schönes Ambiente, die nettesten Bedienungen Augsburgs (vorallem Jasmina war super nett, hat sich viel Zeit genommen und uns kompetent beraten :-)) und sehr leckeres Essen! Wir waren begeistert und werden definitiv wieder kommen. Es war alles super und wir hatten einen tollen Abend bei euch! Macht weiter so! :-)

Sehr schönes Ambiente, sehr leckeres Essen und guter Service. Vor allem Jasmina ist einfach super. Man merkt,dass sie ihren Beruf mit Leidenschaft macht. Hatten selten so eine nette, freundliche und flinke Bedienung. Super Service liebe Jasmina...wir kommen sicher wieder .

Alles in allem waren wir begeistert, das Essen war hervorragend. Was uns nicht so gut gefallen hat: Die Vorspeise auf einem Papier in der Mitte vom Tisch..da gibt es doch sicher ein größeres Brett dafür. Das durchgeweichte Papier fanden wir nach 15 min nicht mehr so „lecker“. Der Preis für die beiden Beilagen: 4,50€ für 2 EL Cole Slaw (das kleine Gläschen war nicht mal 2/3 voll) und 6,50€ für das bisschen Beilagensalat ist nicht angemessen, sorry. Lecker war alles, was wir auf dem Tisch hatten und die Location ist wirklich toll!

Es war ein schöner Abend, mit gutem Essen und nettem Service. Aber eben auch nicht mehr. Preis-Leistung hat für uns nicht gepasst. Da erwarten wir einfach mehr Qualität/ Geschmack und vor allem mehr fürs "Auge". Positiv fanden wir z.B. dass die Tische mit angenehmem Abstand platziert sind.

Ich bin von der Speisekarte etwas überrascht und enttäuscht, wenig Auswahl, zu viel überteuerte Extras. Der Beilagensalat oder auch Pommes als Beilage ist eine Miniportion und dafür zu teuer Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis passt nicht und zu bedenken bei einem nächsten Besuch… Sorry!

Die Location ist, wie soll es auch anders sein Geschmacksache und über Geschmack lässt sich nicht streiten. Wir lieben diesen Stil. Vor allem was mir als Bauingenieur auffällt ist die großflächig schallabsorbierende Decke. Und die ist Gold wert. Trotz sehr gut gefüllten Lokal konnte man sich am Tisch in normaler Lautstärke unterhalten. Unsere Bedienung Jasmina (glaube ich hieß Sie) war trotz Unterbesetzung auf Grund eines krankheitsbedingten Ausfalls im Service munter, auf Zack und doch unaufdringlich, man merkte sie mag ihren Job und den Umgang mit "ihren" Gästen. Das Essen hat etwas gedauert und hat auch seinen Preis, aber mal ehrlich Leute: Was schnell geht und nix kostet ist nichts wert, wer sich darüber aufregt soll bitte zum großen gelben M gehen... Und wenn ich zum Essen gehen, dann möchte ich genießen und nehme mir Zeit. Wir waren zu 6 da und jeder war mit seinem Essen ohne Ausnahme sehr zufrieden. Wir freuen uns auf Route 66 übernächste Woche!

Das beste Steak und Fleisch allgemein was ich je gegessen habe. Essen kam sehr schnell und die Bedienung Jasmina war sehr sehr freundlich. Insgesamt ein sehr schönes Erlebnis bei euch im Restaurant gewesen. Gerne wieder :)

Sehr gutes Essen, sehr aufmerksamer Service, tolles Ambiente. Gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis, Portiongröße ist ok. Was tatsächlich fehlt, ist die Übersetzung der Speisekarte in weitere Sprachen - zumindest in Englischer Sprache sollte sie vorhanden sein.

Bestelltes wurde nicht korrekt umgesetzt. Es wurde ein Teil der Bestellung erst gar nicht gebracht. Bis das Essen kam hat es über eine Stunde gedauert. Es gab an diesem Tag 2 Speisekarten von denen wir auch nur eine erhalten haben. Der Preis den wir bezahlt haben war nicht gerechtfertigt für dieses Essen.
