We stopped by on Thursday for schnitzel day because a schnitzel with a starter and side dish was advertised for €11.50. My companion ordered a standard Viennese style schnitzel. This was then charged at the standard price, which was well over €11.50 and the starter was not included either. For me it's an absolute disgrace to invite people to schnitzel day and only sell selected schnitzels cheaply. However, the schnitzel, whatever the quantity, is charged more expensively. I just hope for the future that someone orders a schnitzel with mushrooms and cheese gratin and has the cheese and mushrooms removed when ordering. When I asked for an extra sauce for my schnitzel, the waitress made a face and asked the chef. When this schnitzel was also charged at more than €11.50, my bill came with the same number of drinks as The couple and their 2 children who accompanied us paid almost the same amount as you. This was the first and last time I ate there…

Great pub/restaurant. Food is great and rich. Beer is extremely tasty. Service is also great and friendly. You can sit outside very well. Highly recommended. Also very good for family celebrations. Price-performance ratio definitely fits.

Very nice owners. We felt comfortable. Attentive. We just had a drink outside. A yellow angel...orange juice with vanilla ice cream. However, I would like to eat there sometime.

We 4 girls spontaneously went to eat there today because the menu appealed to us. We were greeted very friendly and the lady assigned us a table straight away where our walkers could also fit. The menu was clear so that we weren't overwhelmed. I Had the Bergischer Hof and I can only say taste explosion for me. Of course some people like it more... others like it less, but they had salt and pepper with them. My other girls were also very happy with their food. The price-performance ratio was also very acceptable .Not overpriced.All in all very satisfied.The service was always friendly and attentive.Thank you very much ❤️

The food was very tasty and the service was very friendly. The daily menu: Chicken Schnitzel, Baked Tomato Pesto Salad with soup and dessert 12.90 euros, very cheap. We recommend.

The food is home-style, solid, inexpensive and tasty, even if the recipe lacks a little bit of sophistication. The service was very friendly and invited you to linger longer. Here you are welcome to order another drink. The interior is simple but clean and intact. Just like the toilet facilities. You can sit outside in front of the restaurant, but it's right on the street. Overall, a good German restaurant where both price and service are convincing. Gladly again.

This 1-star rating is an exaggeration. I would like to give 0 stars, something like that has never happened to me in my life. When we visited the restaurant we immediately met the unfriendly waitress, who definitely missed her job. It would be better to choose another profession, you would be better off there. We visited the restaurant with our 2 year old daughter and were immediately told by the waitress that it would disturb the guests and that their dining room would be a mess. It's an absolute disgrace to say something like that to a young family!! This reaction was followed by an immediate reaction from our side and we left the restaurant after paying of course. Such behavior is inappropriate, you should really think about eating here. For us it's a clear no and we can't recommend this restaurant under any circumstances!

Children not welcome!!!! Family with 2 year old child was asked to "keep the child quiet, it would disturb the boss and could disturb the guests sitting outside" or to leave the restaurant. Children bring with them a certain amount of noise, but there wasn't even the slightest bit of a disturbance for others. Nobody expected such an exaggerated reaction from the restaurant. The already very unfriendly waitress said it in such a dismissive tone that the family took the right conclusion and left the restaurant immediately! Never again! Absolute no-go!!!!!

After we ate, this staff member noticed that our children had dropped some food on the floor and complained that they should clean it up, which was quite inappropriate. When we wanted to pay we were told that only cash payments were accepted. We were not informed of this policy in advance, nor was it posted anywhere in the restaurant. Overall, this particular waitress's behavior was very unprofessional. I hope the restaurant's management can address this issue. Very unfriendly service, children are absolutely not welcome here and you are advised to keep children quiet, unbelievable!!!!!!!! If I could I would give 0 stars, that's not possible!! We paid for our drinks and left the restaurant because of such statements to a two-year-old child!!

I would like to express my disappointment with my last visit to your restaurant. Unfortunately I had a very bad experience. Firstly, I found a long hair in my food, which is extremely unhygienic and spoiled my appetite. In addition, the dark-skinned waitress was very unfriendly, which further worsened the overall impression. If someone wants to spoil their mood while eating, then this restaurant is definitely the place. I will not visit your restaurant again and cannot recommend it.

We spontaneously ate here today. The Wienerschnitzel and the pork loin were super tasty.😍😊 The staff give you a very warm welcome and are attentive. We'd love to come back.

Cappuccino and coffee with milk are tasteless and come from a capsule machine. This has nothing to do with real coffee. When it comes to service, it depends on who is there. The blonde young lady is great, the owner herself is surly, snippy and rude. You can make the menu, the rest is a french fries shop….

Mal auf ein schnelles Bier…….Der Service war mit rund 12 Menschen, die nur etwas getrunken haben, schon überfordert, dazu auch unwirsch und unfreundlich. Mein zweites Kölsch hatte einen seltsamen Beigeschmack und schmeckte nicht wie das erste. Es war mein erster und vermutlich letzter Besuch dort.

Wir waren gestern zum ersten Mal hier zu Mittag mit der Familie, alles zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit, leckeres Essen, aufmerksamer Service und das alles zu einem fairen Preis. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Am 17.05.2023 haben wir hier die Beerdigung meines Vaters ... zum Abschluss gebracht. Es gab ein Buffet, dass allen Wünschen gerecht wurde, der Service war vorzüglich und es war an alles gedacht. 1988 hat mein Vater hier auch seine 2. Hochzeit gefeiert. Überall die Jahre waren wir immer wieder hier zu Gast. Nicht ohne Grund. Daher war es klar, dass wir auch die Beerdigung "feiern" würden. Wer eine Lokalität für eine Familienfeier oder für ein Vereinsfest sucht ist hier im Bergischen Hof vorzüglich aufgehoben. Küche ist "gut bürgerlich" mit frischen Zutaten, die Karte reichhaltig und für jeden etwas dabei. Nur muss man auch Hunger mitbringen, den mit dem Salat wird es ein wenig viel. Man wird also für sein Geld auch satt. -:))

Sehr freundliche und hilfreiche Bedienung und angenehme Preise. Ich hatte kurzfristig für 15 Personen reserviert aber als es dann doch fast 25 Gäste wurden, wirde alles problemlos den Umständen angepasst! Sehr empfehlenswert!

Nach einem langen Wandertag haben wir uns gemütlich im Bergischen Hof zusammen gesetzt und lecker gegessen und getrunken. Die Bedienung war super nett und ganz lieb und zuvorkommend. Das Essen total super und lecker. Preisleistungsverhältnis einmalig. Wir waren das erste mal da, kommen aber definitiv wieder!

Da ich in ihrer Nähe zur Reha war waren wir zweimal bei ihnen,trotz Sonderwünsche was gar nicht in der Karte war kein problem.echt lecker und super Klasse Bedienung 🤗

Wir waren sehr begeistert! Service super nett und aufmerksam. Zum Essen gab es vorab einen Gruß aus der Küche 😋. Auch der Salat war Top genauso wie die Schnitzel und Pommes. Karte ist übersichtlich ohne viel schnick schnack. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Leider habe ich und meine Frau keine gute Erfahrung gemacht ! Als Salat gibt es dort leider nur Sachen aus den Glass/ Dose auf der Karte steht zwar Beilagen Salat vom Salat Buffet aber man hat uns eine Salat dahin gestellt Nachdem man die Bedienung darauf hingewiesen hat das der Salat nicht so toll wäre bekommt man nur die Antwort das die anderen Kunden das so haben möchten ! (Also unser Geschmack ist halt nicht die Dose/Glass ) Empfehlen können wir es leider nicht und wir werden dann auch lieber da essen gehen wo man frische Sachen bekommt !
