Food was tasty, drinks were great. Service was good too. Waiter even spoke some english, greeted us and asked if we speak english or german. Great ambience, very cozy. Would definitely recommend and would come back again.

Unfortunately, neither the service nor the quality of the food is very important in the house. After what felt like an eternity of waiting for our food and having to change the order three times because various dishes were unavailable (which can happen from time to time), our long-awaited food finally arrived - but then the real drama began. Among other things, we ordered a rump steak with porcini mushrooms. The porcini mushrooms were cold, obviously from a can, and were simply placed carelessly on the meat. All I can say about the quality of the meat is: catastrophic. The rump steak was full of tendons, thinly sliced ​​and well-done, even though we ordered it medium rare. The absolute low point, however, was the schnitzel with fries. After 5-6 bites, we noticed that there was a long hair stuck between the breading and the meat - so long that we could use it to lift the schnitzel off the plate. When we asked the waiter about it, he only responded with a terse "I'm just bringing out the food, I'll let the kitchen know." An appropriate reaction, such as a new dish or a small apology in the form of a coffee on the house, remained completely out. After a few minutes of being ignored we decided to ask for the bill. To our surprise, we were fully charged for all dishes, including the schnitzel with hair and the bad rump steak. We definitely won't be visiting this restaurant again. Both the service and the cuisine were disappointing across the board. Feedback on my visit to your restaurant ### Dear Bella Italia team, With your response to my criticism you show how you deal with feedback from your guests. There were six of us and I only criticized two dishes - objectively and justifiedly. Do you really want to claim that there wasn't a hair in the schnitzel? Or that the porcini mushrooms didn't come from a can and were placed carelessly, coldly on a piece of meat riddled with tendons? Is this really how you and your company deal with legitimate criticism? Criticism should always be an opportunity to improve and increase guest satisfaction. Food was good. Service was a little slow but server was kind. But in German restaurant you wont get normal water on the table. You are advised to take your own water bottle otherwise if you buy it on place, it will cost you 7.5 euros which is not worth.

That's probably history now, as I could also read in other reviews, e.g. at fadi abdo The last 3 visits have been a huge disappointment and the short, stocky, choleric man was rudeness personified! On my last visit I ordered gnocchi, butter and sage and received an indefinable colored substance in which the gnocchi were swimming I didn't complain When the waiter came I simply said that he could take the plate with him and that I didn't want to take what was on the plate with me either then came “the performance”!!! If the man were the boss, he wouldn't treat guests like that. He immediately started shouting "if I didn't know what I ordered" and "he's been making the dish like this for 36 years" I asked him to get the menu, there it was, as ordered, Gnocchi, butter and sage not sauce, not indefinable substance or similar. In this case you usually get: Sage fried in nut butter and sautéed gnocchi the angry man grew louder and continued to shout I paid The gnocchi wasn't on the bill - for this one rating point - shame about the spaghetteria There was always very nice, courteous staff there where are the nice gentlemen? The environment of the restaurant was reminiscent of Francis Ford Coppola's "The Godfather" film series. And the food in the same quality Italian pattern. Like the calt film. Simply wonderful

We ate dinner here. The waiter was grumpy and unfriendly. The food was way below expectations. We tried 3 different kinds of pasta: the ravioli was more or less ok, the canelloni had a very strange and unpleasant taste and the spagetti Carbonara was eatable but nothing special. The tomato soup was the best among all the dishes we ordered. The prices are affordable, but in general I would not recommand it.

Sorry, the pizza is unfortunately not good, calamari is not recommended, typical frozen calamari, tasted like rubber. Honestly, this is canteen level. The rating of 4.4 is incomprehensible. There were hardly any people there on a Thursday evening.

There wasn't much activity but unfortunately it was very loud. The salad was fine, the pizza was well topped, but the pizza dough was very hard and the knives were hardly suitable for cutting it.

We were regular guests here for many years and were always thrilled. Not anymore and the fact that Bella Italia even went to Google with a lawyer to delete bad reviews says a lot. Dear Bella Italia, it is a great shame how you have changed for the worse. You were once THE spagheria in Freiburg, I think that has changed. We certainly won't be coming to you again and if you read the reviews here, we're not the only ones who think that way. Think about it.

Bella Italia, le nom et la carte donne envie mais a l’arrivée de l’assiette quelle déception…. J’ai commandé des raviolis à la ricotta beurre à la sauge. 6 ou 7 raviolis pas plus épais qu’une crêpe, farcis de ricotta rouge (!), le tout qui trempe dans une sauce jaune insipide. Je cherche encore les saveurs. 14€ très cher payé pour des pâtes du supermarché du coin…une insulte à la vraie cuisine italienne

Habe noch nie in meinem Leben eine schlechtere Pizza gegessen, da wäre die Tiefkühl Variante 100 mal besser gewesen. Bedienung war schwer von Begriff, nachdem alle Bestellungen aufgenommen wurden kam der Kellner drei mal zusätzlich und hat am Tisch gefragt wer ein bestimmtes Gericht bestellt hat, was keiner von uns hatte. Wir waren zwar eine große Gruppe aber trotzdem. Als dann letzten Endes das Essen kam, fehlten zwei Gerichte. Das von meinem sitznachbarn und mir. Stattdessen kam einmal das Gericht an, was niemand bestellt hatte. Frust. Nach wenigen Minuten kamen dann unsere Pizzen ebenfalls an, jedoch hat auf meiner eine Zutat gefehlt, obwohl der Kellner diese 3 mal erklärt bekommen hat von mir. (Pizza Schinken Champignons mit Oliven, bekommen habe ich Schinken und Oliven) Der Boden der Pizza war noch teig, man musste rupfen statt schneiden und nach zehn Minuten habe ich Bauchschmerzen bekommen. Noch nie so ein schlechtes Restaurant gesehen. Unfähig. Gegen Ende konnte ich es kaum abwarten zu gehen, jedoch wurde dies durch das warten auf die Rechnung maßlos in die Länge gezogen. BITTE GEHT WO ANDERS HIN!

Liebe Pizzeria Bella Italia, der Koch raucht 🚬🚬🚬🚬 während das Essen zubereitet wird in der Küche!!!! Man muss nicht mal dort essen gehen, denn man kann sehr gut in die Küche schauen von außen! Der eine oder andere mag ja rauchiges flavor. Allerdings ist das hygienisch bedenklich und auch echt respektlos gegenüber der Kundschaft. Spaghetti Carbonara probiert: Nudeln gut, Sauce sehr sahnig, aber für meinen Geschmack nicht ausreichend gewürzt. Unter der Woche mittags waren noch viele Plätze frei - mit Blick auf die anderen Rezessionen komme ich zum Schluß dass dieser Laden schon bessere Zeiten gesehen hat.

Wir waren zu dritt hier. Alle 3 Essen wurden gleichzeitig gebracht, allerdings war eins falsch…Der Kellner war daraufhin aber trotzdem freundlich und hat sich entschuldigt. Für den Preis war das okay, allerdings würde ich nicht nochmal herkommen.

Großes Restaurant in einem imposanten Gebäude. Schlicht, aber durch die Raumform gemütlicher Innenraum. Umfangreiche Speiselarte. Faire Preise. Bei meinem Besuch war der Kellner eher lustlos. Die Pizza selbst war gut; ich persönlich mag den Teig allerdings eher etwas softer.

Total freundliche Bedienung. Früher waren die Preise genial, inzwischen sind sie stark gestiegen (liegen im Durchschnitt). Pizza war gut aber auch nichts besonderes.

Günstig ja, aber der Rest... Es wurde uns kein Kinderstuhl angeboten, obwohl es einen gab, den ich uns dann selbst geholt habe. Das Essen war in Ordnung, mehr aber auch nicht. Eine kleine Portion Lasagne, die nach nicht viel geschmeckt hat und die Nudeln meiner Frau waren auch kein Highlight. Für uns enttäuschend.

It was nice and quiet inside. The service was a bit slow as we had to wait for a little time to receive the menu and get our orders taken. But from then, our drinks and food came relatively fast. We all enjoyed our food. It's nothing special, but still good. I would recommend to rather eat pasta then pizza at this place. :)

Sehr gute Pizza's. Gnocchi Gorgonzola ist sehr lecker. Glutenfreie Pizza gibt es hier leider nicht. Für ♿️ schwierig da es ein paar Stufen nach unten geht, ob es eine Rampe gibt weiss ich nicht.

Der Besuch war lange ersehnt, die "echte Spaghetteria" lockte. Wohl auch wegen dieser großen Erwartungen war der Besuch dann eher ernüchternd. Die Auswahl an Speisen (auch vegetarischen) ist gut. Aber die Kellner*innen waren sehr unaufmerksam, scheinbar lustlos unbegeistert und wirkten gestresst (Dienstagabends, Lokal ordentlich besucht). Das Essen war zwar relativ günstig, dies überraschte aber umso weniger, als es dann tatsächlich vor uns stand. Die hier bereits erwähnten, kleinen Portionen kann ich bestätigen. Wenig kreativ und definitiv keine große Kochkunst steckte in deren Zubereitung. Das war schade, da wir uns gute Spaghetti und Ravioli erhofft hatten. Auf den übrigen Tellern im Raum sah es leider ebenso wenig kreativ aus, geschmacklich kann ich diese Gerichte natürlich nicht beurteilen. Beim nächsten Mal kochen wir das dann lieber wieder zu Hause. Macht mehr Spaß, schmeckt leider auch besser und ist noch günstiger. Für wirklich gute Pizza kann ich als Alternative das nahegelegene "Firenze" empfehlen.

Ich war mit Sohn, Schwiegertochter und den Enkeln dort zum Essen. Reservierung lief online perfekt. Bedienung, Service, Freundlichkeit und das Essen hat gepasst. Hier kann man noch zu vernünftigen Preisen essen. Wir kommen wieder.

Das Essen war ganz okay und lecker. Leider ist das Personal sehr unfreundlich und hat es scheinbar nicht nötig freundlich zu den Gästen zu sein. Was für mich ein wichtiges Kriterium ist. Ich arbeite auch in der Dienstleistung. Ich bin zu allen Gästen freundlich und höflich und das erwarte ich auch, wenn ich irgendwo hingehe. Aber wenn man als Gast das Gefühl haben muss unerwünscht zu sein, läuft irgendwas schief. Wer keine Lust zum arbeiten hat soll zuhause bleiben. Oder wer professionell, ist lässt es sich nicht anmerken.
