I'm not a fish eater, everything I've tried tastes extremely delicious!

Tam bir portekiz restarurantı. Mekan küçük ama yemekler çok lezzetliydi. Fiyat performans bence çok iyi. Deniz ürünleri ve steak ikisi de başarılıydı. Heleki bir tatlısı vardı enfes.

Excellent food and very attentive service. The selection of dishes is very diverse, with the focus being on fish dishes. The food is perfectly prepared, the staff is extremely friendly and very competent. An absolutely recommended place for a special culinary experience in Hamburg.

It's a small restaurant. It is advisable to book a table in advance. The food is very tasty and very good. What I personally think is very good, although there is a lot of fish on offer, there is never a smell of fish in the restaurant. The fish is always very fresh. Even when the fish plate is served there is no pungent smell of fish. Highly recommended.

Very tasty food in a family atmosphere

Restaurante pequeño y muy popular cerca del puerto. Tuvimos que esperar un poco por nuestra paella, pero valió la pena. Muy buen vino y excelente si se acabó - personal trabajado. Haga una reserva y será recompensado.

Authentic little restaurant away from the hustle and bustle of tourists. Very tasty food made from fresh ingredients and the quality is on a par with the cuisine in Portugal. Open and friendly employees. Fair prices. Unfortunately there is hardly any vegetarian offering, it would be nice here, for example. B. a plant-based protein source (beans, legumes) as an alternative to the wide range of meat and fish - Portuguese cuisine definitely has one or two dishes to offer 😉

Very dignified restaurant, good food and really great service

We went there specifically because of the high rating. Ambience more chilled than Portuguese. The service attentive and quick. I had a pot of calamari and shrimp that was excellent. Unfortunately, the other two main courses, shrimp with redfish and shrimp with vegetables, were completely wrong. Shrimp completely dry because it was broken and grilled and everything was completely over salted! Ok, we were asked if everything was OK during the meal... but in the end a lot was left lying around and no questions were asked. I then waive the explanation. Price performance would have been OK without the dropouts, a shame

We were in Hamburg for a weekend and discovered this excellent restaurant by chance. An absolute insider tip! Both fish and meat dishes were excellent. The price-performance ratio was absolutely fine. The hosts Rui and Melanie are super warm and just spread a good mood. You feel welcome and, despite the restaurant being full, there is always time for a quick chat. We will definitely visit this restaurant again when we are in Hamburg! Simply perfect hosts and super delicious food.

Ganz spontan haben wir uns für das Beira Rio entschieden und Glück gehabt einen Tisch für vier Personen zu bekommen, da es ziemlich gut besucht ist. Nach unserem Besuch völlig nachvollziehbar! Angefangen von der liebenswürdigen, lustigen, sehr freundlichen und kundenorientierten Bedienung, über das sehr gute Essen, und dem angenehm modernen Ambiente. Kurz wir wurden wie sehr erwünschte Gäste behandelt und haben uns daher super wohl gefühlt. Wer also portogiesische frische Küche mag, ist hier absolut richtig! Wir kommen wieder!

Very tasty and reasonably priced restaurant. There were five of us and we had a paella for 2, a fish platter for 2 and a fish platter for one and we all got very full. Luckily we got a seat here on a Saturday around 6pm without a reservation, which we were very happy about in the area. Nice staff, prices are completely justified for the quality of the food. Gladly again!

The bread and the scampis in garlic oil are the highlight.

The service here is first class and very attentive. Unfortunately the food is just okay. The calamari had a great bite, but was unfortunately very greasy and apparently hadn't been blotted off. The breading was not well thought out, the taste was boring. The fries without crunch, not hot. Unfortunately, the lamb fillet was completely cooked through, almost dead, with great meat quality. The lamb sauce tasted perfectly again. The aioli, on the other hand, is a dream, I've rarely had one this good. The bread served with it was super fresh and tasty.

I strongly recommend staying at the hotel, where I met Rita, as well as visiting the restaurant where you can taste the wonderful flavors of Portugal. I will come back on my next trip.

We stopped by spontaneously before our St.Pauli night watchman tour. The food was very tasty, the service was friendly and we can highly recommend the restaurant.

Beira Rio restaurant is very easy to find. You can take the U3 to Landungsbrücken and get off there. After leaving the subway station, it's only about a 2-minute walk. The service in the restaurant is super warm, the owner is very talkative and humorous. We felt the hospitable atmosphere of Portugal. It is generally known that Hamburg, as a famous port city, is home to numerous fish restaurants. However, I strongly recommend Beira Rio. In terms of quality, price and service, this is so far the best fish restaurant I have experienced in Germany. Obrigado!

Wir freuen uns über jeden Besuch im Beira Rio 🤗...einfach alles super 🫶🏽 vor allem aber hebt die Bedienung Riu nochmal alles auf einen anderen Stern ! Waren am 29.12. und am 31.12.2023 wieder total glücklich bei unseren Besuchen

Ich war am 31.12.23 mit einer Reisegruppe (16) dort. Ich hatte die Karte schon im Vorfeld studiert und hatte mich auf gegrillte Lammkoteletts und ein gemütliches Ambiente gefreut. Wir wurden in einen Raum geführt, der alles andere als gemütlich war. 2 große Tische nett gedeckt und ansonsten kahl. (Abstellraum). Der Kellner übertrieben freundlich, ging aber nicht auf meine Wünsche ein, sondern belächelte sie. Bei der Bestellung bat ich um etwas Knoblauch an meinen Lammkoteletts. Das ginge nicht , wenn da jeder solche Extrawünsche hätte. Provokativ stellte man mir ein Schüsselchen Knoblauchmayo hin. Die Tapasplatte . Überwiegend Frittiertes, mit undefinierbarer mehlgestreckter Füllung. Highlight,.... 2 gegrillte Sardinen und zwei Ringe Calamari. Meine große Hoffnung die Lammkoteletts. Eine Frechheit. Viel zu dick geschnitten, zäh und voller Sehnen. Kartoffeln matschig und fade.

Wir waren mit zwei Kindern essen und obwohl unser jüngster sehr lebhaft ist, war es, dank Rui, ein toller, entspannter Abend. Leckeres Essen, toller Service und portugiesische Gastfreundschaft - wir kommen gerne wieder!!

Wirwaren mit 17 Personen am Silvesterabend essen. Alle Gerichte, von der Vorspeise bis zur Hauptspeise waren top. Ein wirklich guter Portugiese!

Wir sind erst gg. 22 Uhr im Restaurant gewesen, die Küche war geschlossen. Doch der junge Gastwirt hat die traurigen Gesichter unserer Kinder gesehen und hat uns in Kürze trotzdem noch ein kleines Abendessen gezaubert. Diese Herzlichkeit und das Engagement findet man heute in Deutschland sehr selten. Danke nochmal für die kurze, schöne Zeit in ihrem Restaurant.

Für mich bestes portugisisches Restaurant am Hamburger Hafen ( direkt gegenüber den Landungsbrücken ), super Essen mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnissen . Sehr freundliche Bedienung. War gestern wieder da. Alles bestens, weiterhin absolut empfehlenswert.

Visited this restaurant during a weekend visit with friends and we had an amazing time. The food was to perfection, drinks were great and the service was just brilliant. Kleines, aber feiner Restaurant im Portugiesenviertel. Sehr guter Service bzw. Beratung. Es gab vorher Brot & Aioli und zum Abschluss noch einen Kräuterschnaps auf‘s Haus.

Wir waren nach einer Besichtigungstour der Reeperbahn, als Abschluß im Beira Rio. Ein kleines portugisisches familiengeführtes Restaurant mit einer sehr guten Küche. Für den jenigen, der auf Fisch oder Meeresfrüchte steht, ein idealer Ort um seinen Gaumen zu verwöhnen. Ich hatte das Schwinefilet in der Weißwein Rahmsauce. Das Fleisch war zart und auf den Punkt gebraten. Der Salat hätte bloß größer ausfallen können, war aber nicht schlimm. Ich konnte noch die Nudeln in Pilzrahmsauce probieren, auch sehr lecker. Die Bedienung hatte der Chef persönlich gemacht und war immer da, wenn man ihn brauchte. Er war immer nett und zuvorkommend. Die Einrichtung war gemütlich und einladend. War ein Besuch wert 👍🤙

Kleines feines Restaurant mit sehr guter Küche. Wir haben lecker frischen Fisch gegessen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Seit Jahren mein Lieblingsrestaurant mit portugiesischer Küche. Trotz starker Konkurrenz im Viertel (selbst getestet) für mich die Nr1. Hervorzuheben sind die stets gut gelaunten beiden „Kellner“. Absolut auf Zack die beiden. Der gesponsorte, hochprozentige Absacker rundet den Abend im Beir Rio lecker ab (manchmal 2 Kurze).

Wir haben hier am 01.04.2023 eine Fischplatte für 2 Personen gegessen. Superlecker. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und freundlich. Wenn wir wieder nach Hamburg kommen gehen wir da wieder hin.

Toller Service mit Spaß an der Arbeit und das Essen und die Getränke waren top. Mojito und Lammfilet in Knoblauchsoße waren wirklich ein Traum und kann ich besten Gewissens empfehlen.

Wahnsinnig guter Service. Alle Mitarbeiter waren top motiviert und haben sich bestens gekümmert. Das Essen würde frisch gekocht, daher etwas längere Wartezeit. Sehr lecker und wärmstens zu empfehlen!
