Today, I went to BBQ with my two sisters for the first time, and it was an absolute experience from the very beginning. The service was fantastic. We received a warm welcome, service, and excellent advice like I've rarely experienced before. The steaks and side dishes were incredibly delicious, as the salad with its homemade dressing already suggested. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and master of these delicacies in person and were so impressed by the love and passion he brings to his craft that we were able to pick up some very valuable tips straight away. Disappointing and absolutely unfriendly I've truly never experienced anything like this before. I only wanted to order an appetizer at this steakhouse – with or without a side dish – and deliberately forego a main course. However, I was refused, with the explanation that the kitchen wouldn't accept it because it "wasn't worth it" for the chef. Honestly, this is simply outrageous. Being treated this way as a paying guest is disrespectful and completely incomprehensible. I felt truly stupid just because I wanted to order something completely normal. Flexibility and hospitality don't seem to play a role here. The entire situation was ridiculous, unprofessional, and extremely unfriendly. Anyone who values pleasant service and respectful treatment should avoid this restaurant.

And no question, the prices are a bit higher than perhaps at other steakhouses, but the quality is absolutely justified. We had the duo with Nebraska and Argentina, and it was amazing. Argentina was amazing, and Nebraska was like something from another planet. We also had grilled vegetables and fries. We started with a salad. Everything was delicious. Another very positive thing was the service. The owner in the kitchen was a super authentic, cool guy, and the service was also on point—very pleasant. We just felt welcome right away. I'll definitely be back.

A friend who has been a regular customer for a long time introduced us to this taste experience! We walked in and immediately felt at home! I had the pleasure of enjoying a medium-well beef fillet from the USA at the restaurant, and it was simply excellent. The meat was grilled to perfection: beautifully caramelized on the outside, very tender and juicy on the inside. The personal advice and preparation by the chef himself is particularly noteworthy. Not again, given the prices you just expect the steaks to be perfect. Ours were burnt and each of my 3 steaks had a different level of doneness... The last piece of meat was simply inedible... The boss then explained that the meat was too light to recognize that it was medium rare and that the burnt was roasted flavors... The garlic bread wasn't good either and the fries were too salty. At least we were given two drinks. However, the lady from the service tried very hard, she was the only bright spot in this restaurant visit...

The three of us went to the steakhouse yesterday and were totally thrilled. We were warmly welcomed by the chef. The open kitchen is right at the entrance so you can see directly onto the grill. We were shown cuts that are not otherwise on the card in their raw state. We then chose 3 different cuts that were grilled for us. You could immediately tell that the chef has a passion for good meat and is really keen to pass this passion on to his guests with a lot of love and dedication. Cooking point, quality, presentation, everything was exactly the same or even better than I had imagined in advance. At first glance, the steakhouse charges high prices for the various products, but in my opinion they are exactly right because the quality offered is very, very high. If you want to treat yourself to some really hot meat every now and then, you've come to the right place. We'll definitely be back.

Before the food was brought, the chef came over to ask if he could change the cooking level because what was ordered didn't quite match the steak and he wanted to deliver a taste explosion. There were three different pieces of meat on the plate, supposedly prepared exactly the way the guests liked it best. To this day I still wonder who that guest was who knew my taste so well. Maybe it was the chef himself. By the way, I wasn't alone, but with colleagues from the company - eight men, all tough guys. This is where taste preferences come together that could hardly be more different. It was like a medieval martial arts tournament at the table - everyone had their own opinion, but everyone was happy. As a starter there was Thuringian Mett on bruschetta. Okay, okay, let's call it what it is: tartare. Definitely a fantastic appetizer and, hand on heart, actually my highlight of the evening. Simply delicious. The waitresses? Insanely friendly – ​​maybe even a little too friendly, or I just imagined it. But after a few casual exchanges, I was told about the secret points system: Regular guests who make around ten visits get their own knife with engraving and all the bells and whistles. The status is taken to the next level! But back to reality. Next to the wine fridges, a staircase leads down to the toilets. They weren't worth mentioning, just clean, and that's enough for me. BUT - something went wrong because the smell of the toilet wafted up into the guest room. Unfortunately. A greeting from the house that I could have done without. And last but not least, a fun fact for the 20 percent cell phone battery generation: If your smartphone dies, you can charge it here - only with Google Pay. Conclusion: Great food, relaxed atmosphere, and with a bit of humor you'll be happy to accept the rest!

A shame! This steakhouse claims to serve hot food until 10 p.m. Says the website. I went in at 8pm; it was full. I was told I could reserve a table for 8:30 p.m., which I did. I am of the opinion that your own requirements and pricing should fit in with the rest. Buying good meat and processing it properly is no great feat. But you have to learn to show guests the necessary respect... You can already tell who you are looking at by the reaction to my review. ..:-)) A really good restaurateur who takes his job seriously knows that it shouldn't be a problem for the guest to decide on their own menu. It should also be irrelevant whether it consists of two starters or another combination. A gastronomic training could help. You could also work on the obvious writing weakness here... ;-))

Been here three times now. For me the quality of the steaks is number 1 in Hanover. It is of course more expensive compared to Block House, but far better. You will receive good advice from the staff or the boss regarding the selection of steaks and the cooking temperature. Steak fans are in good hands here.

We've already tried many shops in Hanover and most of them weren't as convincing when it came to the meat factor as they were when it came to BBQ! And the best part is - it's Halal! Reception was friendly. The starter (vegetable mix) was tasty with the vinaigrette. The main course was the duo, not too large pieces of meat but 2 pieces which provided the necessary variety. Too bad there was no sauce available, but there was a very salty herb butter. The dessert was chocolate mousse, which was tasty, but we make it with different chocolate, so the taste was new. Top restaurant, not too much ambient noise, so you can talk quietly.

Spontaneously got a spot around 8:30 p.m. US Prime fillet of very good quality. Cooking point “Medium well” hit perfectly. Rosemary potatoes also excellent. Unfortunately no sc. Bernaise. But green pepper was good too. The only point of criticism: The salad dressing tastes OK. but too much for the amount of salad. Next time I will ask to serve this separately in a small bowl. Service top and very quick. Unfortunately, I wasn't actively asked if everything was okay. They also didn't ask if I could have another drink when mine was almost empty. But complaining at a high level. I would love to come back and will recommend the restaurant (also because of the nice atmosphere).

But, we were there on a Wednesday in winter and that's why it's unfortunately only 4 stars, because it was quite cold in the almost empty restaurant, so it wasn't possible to feel comfortable despite everything. The wine glasses had water stains. And there was no “greetings from the kitchen” or anything like that beforehand. Given the rather high prices, I also expect a little more “around it”.
