We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The staff was unfriendly and even refused to bring us napkins, claiming that too many people throw them away. When I went to get the napkins myself, one of the staff members came over, took the napkins from my wife’s hand, shook her head, and walked away. We felt more like we were in a prison than a restaurant! This behavior completely ruined our meal, and we left as quickly as possible.

And when it came it was all rubbery and discussing looking. That the health office allows such things beats me. For 100+ customers they were way understaffed with only 3 service staff. The food was well lets say you get what you pay for low quality cheap stuff. The buffet not seen once fresh food put on. So its old food! Service staff are unfriendly and rude!

Unfriendly, bad and expensive. I asked for two portions of rice with vegetables to take away. I was shown unappetizing leftovers of overcooked beans and fried potatoes at the buffet, which I could scoop into plastic boxes. When I wasn't satisfied with that, I was reluctantly offered to freshly fry various vegetables. Then I took it. It was ok, but nothing special. We had to add a lot of seasoning at home to make it edible. But the big thing: “Special price” 30 euros when paying in cash. With a card they even wanted 33 euros! For 2 x a handful of vegetables with rice in the plastic box to take away. Unfortunately we were very hungry after a trip, otherwise I would have returned it. In addition, the service was very reluctant and unfriendly. Never again!

Definitely not recommended. We are here on vacation and were really hungry after the long drive. Then we stumbled across this restaurant...quickly googled the rating...3 stars...hm...but the place was quite full. We thought to ourselves, it can't be that bad. We took the all you can eat...we thought something would be tasty......big mistake. Beef completely tough. Soup really sloppy, more than usual but the taste was OK. Sushi absolute disaster. Pudding watery. The food wasn't even ok for my taste. But the big hit was still to come. Each of us had 1 drink and we paid almost 60 euros. That also motivated me to write a review. Not only is the food not good, the price is also a disgrace. Price-performance = impudence

We have been here at Ginza several times and have always received a warm welcome. We always got a good seat from where you had a good overview of the buffet. The food tastes very good and is regularly replenished so there is always plenty of it. The table was more smeared than cleaned. The toilets were extremely dirty and sticky. The restaurant is extremely loud, so there is hardly any room separation. The glasses are not cleared away because otherwise they no longer know how many drinks have to be charged. There were five of us at a table of six that was full of glasses at the end. If you need a waiter you will be ignored. Half the drinks had run out but were still on the menu. The food was very good. There was a huge selection and the price was fair. That will be the reason why the restaurant still exists. If there were staff training here and a cleaner, quieter atmosphere, it would be a great restaurant. What a shame!

I'm very very very disappointed. You could also put a price on the flies because there are so many of them and they're all over the food at the buffet... When I didn't want to drink anything, the boss came to me every 5 minutes and asked me several times to order something to drink. Then of course I ordered something to drink because I was getting uncomfortable. The service employees all walk around with a poker face, no smiles, nothing, except the nice old man at the grill. He's always been very friendly so far. He was the only positive thing in there. The toilets also look horrible. Urine residue on the floor, dried urine stains that smell unpleasant. When I pointed this out to the service employee, she told me not to go to the toilet and ran away. Very unprofessional and disrespectful. I would definitely never go there again!!

We've been there a few times over the past few years. There is now an extra charge for everything. The prices on the card are no longer correct. Everything is communicated via handwritten signs in the restaurant. While I understand the surcharge for too much food that is not eaten, I find the surcharge for meals that are ordered without drinks an absolute disgrace. The food is, as you would expect, mass produced. Nothing surprising but for a price of €22, well... the buffet itself is sparsely refilled and there were a lot of flies on the goods. The service is also subpar. When we were asked if we wanted to pay and we replied, "not yet, only later", the waitress was at the table less than a minute later with the bill. When we kindly pointed out to her that we wanted to pay later and she probably misunderstood us, she replied that she also wanted to go home... at 9:30 p.m. When we told her that it said 10:30 EVERYWHERE, she argued that that wasn't true, that it had been that way for a long time, that it wasn't on the map either... it's just stupid that it actually said 10:30 when they showed it to us wanted. When I told her it wasn't a good customer experience and was also very unpleasant as a guest, she told us we should stay until 10:30 p.m., there's just nothing left to consume. I then said that it was fine and we would go, but definitely not come back. We'll leave it at that. Ginza is no longer recommended.

The level of service here is terrible. Came as a group of eight people, including 4 kids. They didn’t want to provide more than 3 straws. Spending so much money as a group here and the staff are arguing with me about providing straws which cost pennies. Cannot recommend this place at all. I've been coming back for years; Nothing special but ok - like many things in Konstanz. Today we came with 2 children and we were assigned a place from a distance where it said "reserved" (right side, everyone was empty and "reserved" everywhere). We were then rudely asked by a young brat (seems to be from the owner's family, if you understand me) why we should sit at a reserved table. When we were told that it was her colleague who had assigned us the seat, she turned around and left. My suggestion that I would like something to drink was ignored. Such a brat definitely doesn't belong in customer service. Same thing at the front bar, another rude young boy from the owner's family said he didn't take drink orders. So I had to look for the one colleague who happened to assign our seats and was able to order. Ideal visit - we will definitely not be coming back. The owners don't seem to care at all, the Swiss make sure the place is full. During the previous visit, the wrong sauce was used, which can also be a problem for pregnant women. They just said they didn't make any mistakes and then wanted to charge an additional €5. We kindly waived it. Let's be honest --> Who wants to experience something like that when you want to have a quick and nice meal with the family...

The waitress was more busy standing at the counter, bored and hardly motivated. Unfortunately, this has happened to us many times. That's why 1 star, if any, regarding service! In our opinion, the food is perfectly fine for the price-performance ratio. Cleanliness is also problematic (plates dirty, table not cleaned)... a shame because we think the restaurant had more potential. As I said, food was perfectly fine!

On the positive side, there was a decent variety of ice cream, which is a plus if you have a sweet tooth. However, it's worth noting that buffet prices increase on weekends and public holidays, which is typical but still something to keep in mind. Overall, our experience at Ginza was just okay, and we give it three solid stars.

My friend and I tried mushli for the first time and when they brought us the grill it smelled like missing fish, but the workers said that this is how it should smell and the mushli was fresh. When the manager approached us, he began to be rude to me and said that if we did not finish the sushi on another plate, which I did not complain about at all, then we would have to pay 10 €, although everywhere in this establishment there is a warning that for a plate not eaten food - you need to pay ONLY 5€. He (the manager) said that this price was just for us, or rather for me. There was also a problem with the language, we are tourists and we do not know the German language perfectly to express the situation correctly. When a friend tried to talk in English, they didn’t want to listen to her at all and said that this was our problem, that we don’t know German in Germany. I DO NOT recommend visiting this establishment, because you may also be unlucky with stale food and boorish behavior of the employees.
