Asia Prinz in Cuxhaven

Excellent food and great appetizers. Prices are okay. Meals can also be ordered in senior-sized portions (senior's plate, child's plate).

We've been to Asia Prinz several times over the past few years, and during our last vacation we ate there four times in one week. The food is always delicious, the staff is very friendly, and the prices are reasonable.

A wide selection of different dishes; you're sure to find something delicious every time you visit. Very friendly and fast service. Plenty of seating is available in the restaurant. Takeaway is also possible.

It tasted very good. A slightly different kind of Asian cuisine than what you'd get everywhere else. Definitely recommend it.

Pros: Food is great. Home made drinks are also special Con: Payment only by EC card and cash. In my case even the EC card didn’t get accepted in the machine

A very nice, quiet restaurant. The decor is simple and offers a pleasant ambiance. The staff are very friendly, as is the manager. The food is delicious and of high quality, and the prices are incredibly fair. Twenty bucks is enough to fill you up, and it tastes good, too! I would eat here again anytime 🤍

The tofu curry and crispy duck with fried noodles were excellent; we would go back anytime. Service was friendly, and the wait time was very short.

The restaurant is fine; the service and ambiance were OK. It was quite hectic at lunchtime. On the positive side, the food was served quickly. However, it was only average. There are certainly restaurants in Cux with more flavorful and authentic offerings. Feel free to try them for yourself.

Hmmm, spontaneously decided to go there today, and unfortunately it was disappointing! I was a bit doubtful whether the very extensive menu might be alarming (as is often the case), but the return journey by train to Hamburg was approaching. Unfortunately, my doubts were completely confirmed...a very extensive menu is usually not an indicator of good food! For the meal: I chose the duck with mango sauce, rice, and vegetables. Duck - okay in terms of quantity, but so-so quality. Mango sauce - okay, but somehow everything was swimming in the sauce. Vegetables - peas, cauliflower, carrots, etc. Just cheap stuff with no Asian connection at all. Rice - okay, but you can't really go wrong with that. I travel frequently and eat in Asian restaurants, so I can compare and say, "If you have very low standards, it might be fine, but definitely not for me!" Next time I visit CUX, I'd rather try something else! Service was quick and friendly...unfortunately, it can't compensate for the quality of the food.

Waited 55 minutes for our order. All visitors who came after us received their food before us. We were told beforehand that we only had 1.5 hours until the table was reserved. Starter soup came with my friends' main courses, my sushi came later and was just not good. Super little taste - 1cm of wasabi & carelessly prepared. After everyone was unhappy with their food, we got baked bananas on the house while I started writing this review. Nice gesture, but it doesn't change anything. Tip for next time: Maybe inform the guests beforehand if it takes longer and don't just leave them sitting there without any information.

We've eaten there a few times now and are absolute fans of Asia Prinz. The sushi selection is awesome, but the other dishes are also MEGA. Everything is freshly prepared and you can taste it. The store could perhaps be a little larger as the spaces are often filled quickly. I can only recommend the Asia Prinz!

I am completely thrilled. I haven't eaten Asian food this well in a long time. Lots of choice and very good quality. The plates were all empty in no time and the portions were very good. I'll definitely be back

I've been going to Asia Prinz for years and it's still the best sushi I've eaten. I have already tried many sushi shops in Cuxhaven and the surrounding area and generally throughout Germany. Just so delicious and fresh sushi. The peanut sauce is also great, only sometimes there is a little bit of rice or vegetables but with an appetizer you will definitely be full. I am and will remain a regular customer.

I brought 3 hot dishes for us today. The food was still nice and warm at home, the vegetables were crunchy, the meat was tender and the sauces were delicious. The portions are quite large.

I really liked it, the food was delicious, the prices were reasonable and the service was extremely accommodating and polite. I'd love to come back.

I would like to share my wonderful experience in Asia Prinz. As soon as I entered the restaurant I was warmly greeted and immediately felt welcome. The atmosphere was pleasant and stylish, perfect for a relaxed lunch. -The selection of dishes was impressive, and each dish was prepared with great care and attention to detail. -Sushi: 🍣 fresh, authentic, harmonious taste, harmonious aromas. The combination of the spiciness of the mustard and the freshness of the sushi could be a real taste explosion! - Drink:An aromatic mix of fruits. Sweet and sour -Service was excellent - the staff was attentive, friendly and always willing to make recommendations. I felt completely comfortable and was able to enjoy my visit to the fullest. I can highly recommend this sushi shop and look forward to my next visit. A big thank you to the entire team for the fantastic experience!

We always enjoy going there. Price-performance ratio is excellent. The food is very tasty and the portions are large enough.

The sushi is the best in the area. However, you wait too long for the food. External orders are brought forward and ready within 20 minutes. But people who eat there always wait at least an hour for their sushi. That's a real shame considering the store is a restaurant.

Best Suhshi in all of Cuxhaven. A very good price-performance ratio. And everyone there gets full. We briefly “went out” to another restaurant once and we were promptly disappointed there too 😞. AsiaPrinz is Cuxhaven's best sushi restaurant and our No. 1!!!

Before Corona, I was one of the regular customers who must have easily brought in around €5,000 for the store since it opened. Since the prices have been raised so drastically, I go once or twice a year but also order several things for home. But I have to say it doesn't taste anymore... very German, very bland - no seasoning, just fatty... a shame. I come back every year now.

Delicious sushi and very good service. Various cocktails and “home made” drink variations. Location doesn't offer quite as much space and seems a bit cramped, but the best was made of the circumstances. Child friendly. Prices reasonable.

We've picked up food twice so far and were very satisfied both times. The portions are large and everything tasted very good. Can only recommend it.

The food was okay, but I found the price really too high.

Just a disaster! I had dinner with my family today. Raw vegetables, raw meat. When I pointed this out to the chef, he didn't even want to make new food and was generally very unfriendly. In the end, I didn't touch the food and didn't get anything new or my money back. I think it's a shame and the prices aren't low either. No recommendation!

We've been there several times when we're there and so far we can't report anything negative. The waiting time on site was completely reasonable and the service was friendly. The prices were also okay, unfortunately sushi is quite expensive, so you rack up a lot of euros very quickly. They starters were tasty and plentiful. The sushi was well prepared, the rolls didn't fall apart. The rolls all tasted good and we have nothing negative to report.

Very poor service, the waiting time was over 1 hour with little business. I can't recommend anyone!

I like eating out because I just can't cook, but if I had known how bad the food at Asia Prinz was, I would have preferred to starve that evening... Where should I start? Service was available, just not with us. Nobody in the entire restaurant spoke German, I ordered a normal sushi tempura roll with salmon, in the end I received curry which I simply accepted because I didn't want to wait another hour. Duck was cold and salty, curry was OK. When we complained at the end after paying we received a fortune cookie as an apology, thank you??? Well my conclusion, if I could give the restaurant 0/0 stars, it would definitely have happened, but oh well then next time I'll just order duck curry, maybe I'll get my tempura roll afterwards.

Very friendly on the phone. And very fast delivery even though it was Saturday evening. Non-alcoholic beer was also available. And the meals for delivery are really big portions. We don't have that much in Hanover. We will order here again.
