Spontaneous visit with two children today. Attentive, warm service. Everything relaxed and quick at the same time! Food was very good and matched the price level.

The cappuccino and tiramisu were great! Great view of the beach and very friendly and fast service!

Waited 1 3/4 hours for food which was also cold. No apology, nothing came from the service person. It's pretty cold in the whole restaurant. I hardly believe that that should be Henssler's claim.

Well, how can you say that when you order a burger dish and the burger is cold, that the burger bun is also cold, the drink you ordered comes in glasses that have just come out of the dishwasher, really hot, so a special tastes particularly good, like that I can't taste a cold drink, sorry, my wife had ordered a dish and they arrived 20 minutes after ordering and said we were sorry, would you like something else with your dish, we were out of potatoes, it should be noted 20 minutes after ordering. Service employee asked about it, but nobody was interested, his answer was that at my previous job in Lübeck it was just as bad, no apology and nothing. Sorry, I can't recommend every snack bar here is better, I wouldn't eat here again.

Very nice staff. Order was taken quickly. Drinks and food were quickly at the table. Tuna bowl and panfish. Very tasty and quite reasonably priced.

Unfortunately I'm not thrilled at all. The food was not justified. The tartar sauce didn't taste like anything, the fries were too bland. Paid almost €17 for this. About the service: The remoulade contains chili, when we ordered we asked whether you could leave out the chili because you have an allergy. When the food came, the remoulade with chili was included, although it was extra but no alternative was offered. When I asked whether there really was chili in the remoulade, the response was “yes, it was there, you can leave out the sauce” instead of offering something else. Unfortunately, no consideration was given to the serious allergy. Very unfortunate. We were here as a family and unfortunately we all left feeling dissatisfied. The 2 stars are for the nice ambience and the beautiful view. We won't come here again.

Very nice restaurant, with delicious food, great service, a cool waiter who was cool. What I didn't know was that dogs were allowed in the restaurant.

Wonderful view of the Baltic Sea. First row with fantastic views. But that was it. The food wasn't as bad as the place around the corner. We ordered fish & chips. Really greasy and unfortunately only below average in taste. We were aware that there was no restaurant with star cuisine here. But the level was really a good snack at best😤😤😤

Wir hatten hier vorher bereits gelesen und mit dem Schlimmsten gerechnet. ABER um es vorwegzunehmen… uns hat es gut gefallen. Wir waren auf einen Samstagabend ohne Reservierung dort. An der Tür angekommen kam eine Servicekraft vorbei die gerade Getränke servierte, uns aber ansprach und sagte das sofort jemand kommt. Dem war dann auch so und wir bekamen sehr freundlich und nett unseren Tisch gezeigt. Die Bedienungen waren alle samt sehr freundlich und auf Fragen zum Essen wurde sehr freundlich reagiert und Auskunft gegeben. Das Essen fanden wir sehr lecker. Rundherum gab es für uns nichts zu meckern und wir hatten ein schönes Abendessen! Gerne wieder!

A lively restaurant; in October only active on the upper floor. Everything is designed and painted quite coolly, but also quite loud because it's open. (Good if you're there with children like we were!) The selection was good and the menu repeatedly refers to Henssler specialties such as hot spices. Children's schnitzel, children's burgers and burgers were tasty, but not great. I found the chicken teriyaki bowl to be the tastiest. We were happy to come back again.

My son and I wanted to have our birthday dinner there. A table was reserved and we were also asked if there was a special occasion. My husband confirmed this. When we got to the restaurant, our table had yet to be set and looked just like everyone else's. The menu wasn't what we expected either. Just a snack 😞 We were in Cologne in May, there were really delicious starters (sushi) and also other dishes like salmon steak and pan-fried fish. We would have wanted something so special there for our birthday. Even at dessert there wasn't even a sparkler on the chocolate cake, even though the reason for the visit was asked. The food was average and nothing special, unfortunately. The service was inattentive. My son and I were disappointed with the Ahoy 👎

Went to the restaurant 3 days ago to have a nice meal, Baked Fish Hensler Style twice. Rabarber spritzer also twice. We liked the food, but it was probably frozen but still very good. The negative thing this afternoon was the service. Very attentive right up to the ordering and bringing the food and drinks. But since I had already finished my drink halfway through eating, no one in service paid attention to whether everything was still OK. is . A lot of people tried to place the empty glass so that it couldn't be overlooked. Four times the assigned service employee went to the next table and didn't even look at us, even when he also cleaned an empty table next to us, our gaze went blank. The icing on the cake came when paying, a service employee alerted us to it and arrived 20 minutes later. NO ONE ! By the way, at this point the restaurant wasn't even half full. We then got up and went to the counter to pay. We got to understand that the service employee wasn't there to collect the money and that no one else was allowed or perhaps could collect the money. After another 15 minutes. We were then allowed to pay at the checkout because the employee couldn't be found despite all attempts. It's a shame, I hope the employee showed up again. Unfortunately not worth a second visit for us..

Eat underground fish and chips under the breading, hardly any fish...every snack is better

Really a cool shop 🤗, We (2 adults and 3 children) came by spontaneously and immediately got a great table. The service was first class and the food was absolutely delicious. Gladly again 😃

We were greeted very friendly and escorted to the table. There was a cup of salty popcorn at the reception. The children received a coloring and reading book with a really “delicious” Henssler story. Fish n chips were on point with a delicate truffle butter that I wished I had the recipe for when I first tasted it. Children's wishes were taken into account, listened to and asked about our well-being from time to time. All in all, the food and service were perfect and left nothing to be desired. The ambience in the evening with a view of the beach was gorgeous. We would love to come back.

Overall very disappointing visit. We had dinner at Ahoi with 7 people. The toilets are the dirtiest we have seen in Scharbeutz so far. Both for men and for women. Urine on the floor, toilets broken, no sign of cleaning, no evidence of it either. Unfortunately, the guest rooms are also quite dirty. The windows are cloudy. Dust trickles down from the ceiling decorations. Stains on a chair and the table greasy. Unfortunately, the food was just as disappointing, especially for the price. Here you pay for the name, but unfortunately the performance is far behind. The fries were cold. The currywurst shriveled and dry. The avocado in the tuna bowl is rock hard. The tuna was not lightly fried as promised, but almost cooked through and still cold. The service then went one better. First, ketchup was forgotten - certainly just a small thing. But getting it delivered was quite a task. After asking a waitress at the next table several times, it came. There was never a question about the quality of the food/satisfaction. When we were finished and were able to point out the deficiencies, the service only reacted curtly by accusing us of why we hadn't said something earlier and then reported that the deficiencies with the currywurst were already known - so why didn't we fix them or leave them alone? dish on the menu (for just under 20 euros!). Finally, drinks were brought when we wanted to pay, which no one had ordered and they tried to force it on us. We just wanted to pay and call it a day, but the waiter wasn't finished yet and wouldn't let up. Very intrusive. It was certainly nice, but it wasn't helpful that he then ordered two ice creams for our children to come from the kitchen without asking. With two tired children, exhausted from the hustle and bustle, with their jackets already half on and ready to leave, it was only luck that we managed to keep the kids from seeing it. Otherwise there would have been the next drama straight away. A nice holiday experience looks different. Since the currywurst wasn't charged and the ice cream deal was certainly meant to be nice, at least two stars were given.

Food was good! Staff nice and friendly but unfortunately it was too cold in the restaurant. Almost all guests sat at the tables wearing jackets. The toilets underground are dirty and broken.

The food was delicious again, although the portions were questionably smaller?! Unfortunately, we sat in the entrance area relatively restlessly and cold. Nobody brought us the popcorn in advance, last time it came automatically. Unfortunately Majo was out today, unfortunately I don't think it's possible in one of these. Unfortunately, the food was unexpectedly unspectacular and rather weak, especially when it advertises the name Steffen Henssler. Dessert was quite tasty but main course was a disappointment. For that I have to give full marks to the nice man at the service, he really tried hard, polite, quick and respectful, that's how customer service should be. The ambience was also nice, unfortunately the lamps didn't work for us, which caused a small deduction. All in all a bit too expensive for the whole package.

Super nice place, nice staff and the food is perfectly seasoned. At the beginning you are immediately treated to salty popcorn and actually everything you can order is super tasty: I love the bowls, the burgers and especially the Koreander in the fries that come with it. A real experience when you are in Schabeutz!

The Ahoi is beautifully located, with a fantastic view of the Baltic Sea. The entire service team was very attentive, friendly and helpful. There was a small welcome greeting with salty popcorn, and our wishes were taken into account when ordering the food. The food was very good and affordable for everyone. Since I know Ahoi from Cologne, I recommended it to my family in Scharbeutz. We had a nice lunch with good food and great service. We would love to come back 😊😊

Dear Mr. Henssler and team!!!! Unfortunately I (together with my family) can only give this place 5 stars. But our visit was at least an 8! The competition is fierce, but Ahoy stands out. It was a perfect meal. Thanks! That was upper cuisine. Keep it up and hopefully soon in Grömitz too! Kind regards....

A typical Ahoy, great view of the Baltic Sea when the weather is nice. The order was taken quickly and didn't take long to arrive. Staff was friendly You should definitely make a reservation.

Our first time. Our impression: a better snack bar. Food was ok, but didn't blow us away. Bare and cold ambience. The view of the Bay of Lübeck didn't help either. A painted whale on the wall is not enough. Bad acoustics. Relaxed eating was not. No repeat planned.

Das Essen war wirklich super lecker! Nur das Personal kam leider nicht oft zu unserem Tisch, wir mussten etwas länger warten um unsere Bestellung aufzugeben und ein „ist alles in Ordnung?“ während des Essens wäre auch schön gewesen :) aber insgesamt super leckeres Essen und das Personal sehr nett.

Wir waren zum 3. x hier. Die Bedienung war toll doch die Qualität des Essens hat stark nachgelassen. Die Currywurst war verschrumpelt, der angepriesene Burger war das Geld nicht wert. Die Bowls waren spärlich mit shrimps und Hähnchen bestückt nur das Schnitzel war top! Aaaaaber : der Blick ist grandios ! Wenn man das Ahoi als Strandbar und nicht als Restaurant sieht, war es ok. Wir werden beim nächsten mal etwas anderes ausprobieren!

Es dauerte tatsächlich 20 Minuten bevor wir Getränke bestellen konnten. Die Zustellung war dann schnell. Die Shrimps & Chips waren völlig überwürzt und waren nachts schwer verdaubar. Die Pommes vom Vegan Burger gingen fast vollständig zurück. Das Servicepersonal war sehr freundlich, bemüht aber deutlich unterbesetzt. Die Lage und Ausstattung des Ahoi ist wirklich gut.

Hi. I was disappointed with the food. The currywurst was gray and had probably been left in the heat for a long time. The fries tossed with onions for almost €20. The bowl was spartan, it didn't even fill a child and was then overflowing with green leafy spices. The service was super nice and the ambience - direct view of the Baltic Sea - was of course great. I ate better in Grömitz some time ago.

We've been there 5 times and have always been very impressed. Food comes quickly and tastes great. The service was always super nice and friendly. Only the fries may not have been hot last time, but they were still an absolute recommendation (French Henssler style). We'd love to come back!!

Sonntag, 14.30 Uhr: 5 Minuten unsere Lebenszeit am Eingang zum leeren Lokal verschwendet. Die Dame an der Theke hat es nicht für nötig gefunden uns einen Platz zuzuweisen oder uns mitzuteilen, dass sie gerade überfordert ist. Schade, hätten das Lokal gerne mal ausprobiert. War vielleicht ein Zeichen!

We were there spontaneously on a Monday evening and the two of us got a place outside without a reservation, which was a very cozy place thanks to the heater! As already known, the food was simply delicious! The chili tomato soup tastes fantastic and the bowls at Ahoi are, for me personally, the best I have ever eaten anywhere! What was particularly noticeable was the very attentive, friendly and fast service! Rarely experienced such good service. We definitely recommend it for a relaxed, calm and casual evening! 🧡

Were there for the first time today (3 adults and a baby) We were there very early and therefore had no waiting time, simply great! The food is simply great and the price is unbeatable. My son got a piece of avocado and was very happy! The picture says it all :)

The staff and service are super friendly and attentive - that's no longer a given - so big praise to the entire team. The food is delicious, a great taste experience and comes quite quickly after you order. Price-performance ratio is great here… Absolutely recommended! We'll be back...

Food was okay, but expectations were higher. The restaurant is beautifully located with a great view of the sea. The waiters could have been more attentive, called the waiter every time and waited a long time for the drinks. The restaurant is old and a bit dingy , There are cobwebs hanging outside under the wooden cladding, and the wooden floor also needs to be cleaned again.

The service was overwhelmed. Food came before drinks. Staff went back to the counter empty-handed, even though there were empty glasses and plates at many tables. Service didn't come by and ask if everything was okay or if you wanted anything else. The food was very tasty and arrived at the table quickly even after ordering. We would come to visit you again.

Friendly, fast staff, delicious food. Ordered, served in no time. Even if Henssler doesn't cook himself, praise goes to the kitchen for the implementation. Anyone who likes to criticize is looking for a fly in the ointment. The guest is king here 👍🏻.

We found a nice place for lunch at Ahoi. The service was very quick and nice! We ordered the tuna as a starter and the burger and fried fish as the main course. All the food came quickly and it tasted very good. I also like the “Henssler Style” topping, it gives a dish a bit of a kick!

Wir, inkl. unserem kleinen Hund, wurden sehr freundlich begrüsst. Die empfohlene Vorspeise, der hausgemachte Eistee und vor allem der köstliche Burger waren einen Besuch wert und wir werden sehr gerne wieder kommen.

Nie wieder: 1. Das Restaurant ist sehr laut, so dass man sich nicht unterhalten kann und meine Smartwatch hat mehrmals die Meldung gebracht „Zu laute Umgebung“. 2. Wir (3 Personen) haben mehr als eine halbe Stunde auf das Essen gewartet. 3. Es scheint alles frittiert zu sein. Der Fisch war hauchdünn und von einer mässigen Qualität. Die Currywurst war verschrumpelt und eingegangen, also wurde sie nicht gegrillt. 4. Die Toiletten waren nicht sauber und sehr dreckig. Dies ist seit über einem Jahr bekannt, aber es ist immer noch nichts passiert. Das Positive war: Der Wein (Rosé) war gut und das Personal war nett. Jedoch entschuldigt dies nicht für ein schlechtes Essen und Umgebung.

It was an average meal. Unfortunately, we were promised more by the name Henssler. A burger for around €20 (Teriyaki Beef Burger) is very steep. The Fries Henssler Style were good. Strongly seasoned and very pleasant to eat with the sauce and the small chilli strips.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Sehr geschmacksintensiv. Sehr freundlicher und schneller Service. Sehr nettes Personal. Einzig der Chlorgeruch im Treppenhaus und im Eingangsbereich des OG , Sehr unangenehm.

Es ist wie eigentlich in anderen Bewertungen genannt… eine Strandbude, oder preislich “gehobene” Frittenbude. Haben uns doch leider vom Namen blenden lassen. Was jedoch gut war/ist : die Aussicht auf die Ostsee.

We "just" had something to drink. The Carlberg on tap and the Mojito were very tasty. It took a while until a place was assigned.

Bei dem Namen haben wir tatsächlich mehr erwartet. Die Auswahl war so lala und die Umsetzung mittelmäßig. Die Preise absolut überteuert. Das Popcorn als Vorspeise kann man sich eigentlich auch sparen und auf den Pommes Henssler Style kann ruhig etwas mehr Soße als ein paar Kleckse. Die Location ist aber super und der Service war schnell und freundlich.

The food is also good, but the name Henssler just raises the expectations, I have to admit... You'll definitely get full from the portions. It's definitely worth a visit in my opinion.

I had promised myself something more. We had to wait a bit at the entrance until someone had time to take us to the table. Service was quick and friendly. The schnitzel was pounded very thin and fried dry; it tasted as if it had shared the same fat with the fish. The mini piece of lemon couldn't save it either. Too bad Plus the toilets, clean was something else.

We really enjoyed it and the food was tasty too. The service staff was friendly and we didn't have to wait long.

We were there twice, the food is tasty, well presented but nothing special. At €75 for two people, it's definitely fine dining and you don't really notice it.

Our orders were processed quickly and we were asked several times whether everything was OK or whether we needed anything else. When we didn't have any food at the table after almost 20 minutes, the waiter became aware of himself and said that something could be wrong. He immediately took care of the order status and apologized, pointing out that the elevator from the kitchen was currently broken. He also offered us a drink on the house to compensate for what he considered to be a long wait. This is how good service and customer friendliness works! The food was very tasty, the fries are by far the best we had during our days in Scharbeutz. The price-performance ratio is really great considering the quality. We felt completely comfortable and would love to come back. Thank you for the lovely evening!

Last year the menu inspired us so much that it enriched our own cuisine. This year we found an upscale menu that offered nothing other than fried food, especially for children. For adults, there are sushi bowls in addition to the well-known burger variants. No comparison to last year's green, grilled asparagus. The acoustics are very bad - quite loud.

Vom Essen her ist es Top, Der Service ist ein wenig überfordert, man wartet ewig bis man die Getränke bekommt. Das Essen kam sogar vor den Getränken. Beim Getränke nachbestellen, dachten wir, das wir vergessen wurden. Erst beim bezahlen haben wir unser Mineralwasser bekommen. Wir saßen im Innenraum des Restaurants, daher der Geräuschpegel sehr laut, da zu den Zeitpunkt sehr viele Kinder zu Gast waren. Zu den sanitären Anlagen bin ich echt enttäuscht, hat ein Feeling wie in einer Bahnhofstoilette. Überall liegt was auf dem Boden und die Toiletten war nicht sauber. Zumindest war das gestern (18.8.24) so.
