Fast food with self-service, but ambitious prices. I don't like the "Gosch" much.

Nice atmosphere. We were there in November. Every now and then a cold gust of wind came into the seating area. A few infrared rays didn't work. Unfortunately the mulled wine was empty but the hot chocolate with a shot was delicious. I would go there again.

It's really nice here, it's good to sit, we like being outside. The food and the processes are just as good as everywhere else at Gosch. It's in a really nice location with a view of the water.

It is very busy and well attended. Nevertheless, I really like the atmosphere, friendly, bright Frisian! Totally friendly service at the drinks counter and hot food counter. The idea of ​​the beeper when the food is ready has been tried and tested for a long time. In this case I had the pumpkin soup with shrimp. And wonderful pumpkin rosti with sour cream (unfortunately no picture) Unfortunately the Sylter crab soup was out.

The food was very good, appetizingly prepared and a nice portion. A large selection in the menu. You order at the counter and pay for food and drink, then you get a beeper and when your order is ready you can pick it up at the counter. Our food was all ready at the same time. All self-service. The table was cleared, but the lady at our table was very unfriendly and you could tell that she didn't feel like working. Outside you can sit under a roof directly on the beach, inside it is rustically furnished with benches and tables. There is also a kind of winter garden with tables and benches. It's nice to sit here.

Gosch Sylt is always great!!! Personally, I think Gosch in Timmendorfer Strand is better in terms of location, but that's a matter of taste.

There are 5 stars for the ambience. However, the service and friendliness when ordering has decreased somewhat. The food is ok...but we can't recommend the fish sandwiches at all.

Long queue even though there wasn't much going on. Fish rolls like from the supermarket: no tartar sauce, nothing! For this 4.30EUR and you are pressured to give a tip. The "no" button is red - cheeky! Too expensive, poor service and poor ambience. The location probably means that it is still full. In any case, it can't be the food.

I was really disappointed with the Thai pan, the frozen product is by far better. Shame about the money. In the past, the Thai pan was good to eat. Now the prices were increased and the sauce had no taste. There were no more scallions or parmesan. You can save the money. In this Gosch branch you should prepare the frozen version for €5.

What would be even more amazing if there were sweet potato fries on the menu.

Unfortunately, the fries were not edible: completely unseasoned and had an unpleasant taste of old fat. The soft drinks (Fanta and Sprite) only tasted like water and sugar. Since it's self-service, I can't rate the service, but given the high prices, I would have at least expected better quality food. Overall, unfortunately rather disappointing. Next to the restaurant you can buy fish sandwiches at an outdoor stand. Another positive thing to mention is that the toilet area is clean. But that's not the main reason for such a review.

Husband and wife sit well. Normal food is really bad. Potato salad from the bucket, fish straight away. NORDSEE RESTAURANT. I don't have to eat anything here anymore.

Even the location, the ambience and the friendly staff cannot compensate for the fact that the mass production of the food in this restaurant chain is equally miserable everywhere.

We only tried the fries for the children, which unfortunately weren't convincing. They were bland and didn't really taste fresh - we would have expected more for the price. We didn't try any other dishes, so we can't say anything about them. Anyone who values ​​atmosphere will feel at home here, but we weren't impressed with the taste.

Dinner, 9 people in total. We wanted to reserve a table in the afternoon. Reservations are not possible, we were told. However, there were “Reserved” signs on the tables in the evening. So sitting in style at a table that is far too small but dingy and sticky. The staff was unfriendly and annoyed, the food was okay. Sitting in the tent annex. First it was way too cold, but there was no room for the jackets anyway, then there were radiant heaters, too much, too low... the bottom line was system catering with no quality, no fun, no taste experience

We had a wonderful experience at Restaurant Gosch in Scharbeutz! The service was simply excellent - the entire team was attentive, friendly and always made sure that the guests didn't miss anything. We would particularly like to highlight the restaurant manager Hamid Rohina. He looked after us personally, was extremely professional and created a great atmosphere with his warm manner. You can tell that people work here with passion. The food was of course also excellent, but the excellent service made our visit very special. Absolutely recommended!

Then I'd rather go to a good fish restaurant and be served at the table. I also like to give a tip for the waitress there. We have tried it twice now and have been disappointed twice. That's it.

I went here several times during my vacation and to the GOSCH chain in general because the food is just so delicious. Unfortunately, it is difficult to find a comfortable table with dogs, as the areas under the tables are rather narrow - more suitable for families/people without dogs. Hello, We are on vacation in Scharbeutz and since we have never eaten at Gosch and it is my birthday, we wanted to enjoy a fish dish. My wife and I treated ourselves to the noble fish version... what a disaster!!! The fish was too dry and everything was bland and to top it off there was a hollandaise sauce instead of a mustard sauce. In my opinion it's just a fish fry shop!!! But the best thing is self-service for around €80.

Going to the toilet also makes things more difficult. Of course, there is also a "service" staff here who insists on giving a tip... We have been coming to Gosch for years, whether on Sylt or Scharbeutz or the Bay of Lübeck. Unfortunately the quality of the food is getting worse and worse. The taste is mediocre, the portions are always smaller. The location in Scharbeutz is of course great. There are always enough staff and the drinks are, as usual, good for the price. The quality of the food could still be worked on.

I don't think the price-performance ratio is legitimate. As a craftsman, I don't recommend the currywurst with fries. Fries tasted like old frying fat and the currywurst was cold inside and the sauce wasn't tasty. Potato salad was definitely pre-packaged from the supermarket, what a shame! The view is still very nice.

For me the Gosch with the best location... right on the beach... Everything else in the usual Gosch manner...

10.2024 Crab roll costs 13€ awesome.. 09.2023: Ate fish sandwiches to go twice. A local beer would be nice, but it's not available here. However, the rolls are a bit small = the cheapest baked goods. But on average they are the cheapest fish pies in the bay. Quality & price suits me. We'll be back, at least for a roll on the fin or a cold Flens! The drink prices are affordable, the wine was okay. At Gosch, self-service is the order of the day, with service taking care of clearing and cleaning. The outer seats usually have a sea view, with glass panes protecting them from the wind. Inside the shop is impersonal and small. Toilets are okay, 50 cents. Fee. Everything was okay for Scharbeutz on the Baltic Sea, you can definitely go there.

Selbstbedienungsrestaurant mit einer großen Auswahl an Fischgerichten. Ich esse dort traditionell den Jakobsteller, auch wenn dieser mittlerweile preislich kein Schnäppchen mehr ist. Die Jakobsmuscheln sind prima, der Salat in seiner Zubereitung eher Durchschnitt. Das Personal könnte zum Teil deutlich freundlicher sein. Im Außenbereich sitzt man bei gutem Wetter sehr gemütlich, überdacht mit Glas-Windschutz und einem tollen Blick auf Dünen, Strand und Ostsee.

When ordering drinks, however, we encountered very unfriendly employees who did not give us the drink we ordered from the menu (Rosato Spritz) (according to the menu, it is usually made with basil). When I asked why it was made with lemon, they simply said "we don't have basil". My wife then didn't want another aperitif, but the two men at the bar weren't willing to take the aperitif back or refund it (€8.90). My wife only took a coffee and didn't receive a refund for the difference. When we asked the bar again, they simply turned around. It's unbelievable how bold and unfriendly you can be when you can't get drinks from the menu correctly. Definitely cannot recommend the restaurant and the company behind it, we were upset and disappointed with the visit.

The location is great and so is the seating area. However, the team behind the counter is completely unaccommodating. The drink we ordered wasn't the right one. The bartenders weren't willing to give out the right drink because they thought I had ordered the other one (the drinks actually sound similar). So I ordered another cheaper drink because an ingredient was missing from the drink I originally ordered, but I didn't get any money back. Really zero customer friendly, so unfortunately I can't recommend it!!!

Good morning, today in Scharbeutz near Gosch. Food delicious as always. But very crowded today. But it's always worth it 🐙

The first impression was positive, until the order was placed. They weren't able to cook anything for my wife without garlic (allergy). There was only one portion of fries left for her to eat. We were told that she couldn't have any fish either because it was all fried on the same plate. My conclusion: no, don't thank me a second time, other restaurants are much more flexible and customer-oriented.

The quality has also decreased significantly, in contrast to the prices. The ambience has been identical for years, clearly worn and worn. The tables in the winter garden are so sticky, even after wiping, that it pulls the hair off your arm. In addition, the stools are so high that adults can hardly get under the table when sitting. The heating runs at full speed when the outside temperature is 22 degrees. According to the employee, it's been there all summer>>because it's broken. Leude, let's forget about pointless energy consumption, you can't stand it for long because of the heat. Too bad...

I know Gosch von Sylt... It's also very beautiful here! And super tasty. Price is reasonable for the good quality.

Hier wird Kritik leider nicht ernst genommen. Das Schwarzbrot war ein furchtbar trockenes helles Brot, nicht definierbar und schmeckte überhaupt nicht. Das habe ich an der Essensausgabetheke reklamiert aber keinen Ersatz bekommen. Man sagte mir, das sei Schwarzbrot...naja, nächstes Mal bringe ich mal eine Scheibe Schwarzbrot mit.... Das Brot dort ist jedenfalls nicht genießbar. Schade! Der Hering mit der Soße schmeckt lecker.

Grauenhaft... Liebloser kann man ein Essen nicht anrichten... Das macht die 3.klassige Pommesbude um die Ecke besser... Einzig der Blick auf die See ist schön...

After the disappointment at Gosch in Kiel, it has to be said clearly that the food in Scharbeutz is much better, with friendly staff.

In general, the Gosch in Scharbeutz is a cool location, but you have to avoid the fried fish for €10.90. The fried potatoes are great, but the fish portion is (sorry, little electronic gag) PNP (breaded, nothing, breaded). Well, you get what you pay for.
