Great idea with the hot stone - so everyone can cook their own meat to perfection. As a quick warning in advance: After the visit, absolutely everything you wore has to be put in the laundry. It's still worth it. The story of the experience: Despite reservations and empty window seats, we were seated at a table in the middle of the room and right next to another couple. (We could have eaten from each other's plates^^) Here only deductions for the attempt - you can of course “say something” and implement it at this point. When choosing a steak, a cut of the Argentinian steak was no longer available (no pay-out sticker) and the service advised us to simply take the cut of the Uruguayan steak, as this would be exactly the same... I personally think it's a bold statement in a steak restaurant. After ordering the side dishes, we were asked WHICH butter we would like with it - in a tone as if it were included. I found this to be a questionable upselling. In general, I found the service to be brisk, not particularly warm and not very attentive, as you had to wave relatively aggressively to refill the supplements. The little “fun” at the beginning, where the gift bags we had brought with us were picked up without asking and jokes were made at our expense, was also rather mediocre. The food itself tasted great, unfortunately there was a very tough one among our 3 steaks. (The recommendation of the service) I thought it was great that you can order side dishes and hot stones, so you have plenty of time to enjoy. Especially in larger groups, it's worth ordering a variety of side dishes, as you can share and have them refilled. Short summary: Reserve a window seat, Don't let the butter take away from the bread (or talk up), order a Uruguay entrecôte (RIB EYE - that was really fantastic and I should have taken the 500g) and side dishes to share. Great evening guaranteed.

I was eating alone for lunch on Sunday, April 9, 2025. I was immediately offered a great seat outside. The waiter who served me was extremely friendly and competent! I ordered a 400g ribeye steak. The steak was nicely marbled with fat, super tasty, and the fries were really good. They even included dessert with the fries for no extra charge. The only thing I didn't like was that the steak had to cook for a long time on the stone. I needed a second stone, which arrived immediately. I actually needed a third, but I didn't want that, and it was just about medium. Next time, I'd order it medium so I don't have to cook it myself for so long. I would definitely recommend the restaurant. Best wishes from Heidiland (Switzerland).

We were at Abaccos for lunch today and wanted to order the minced steak. After we chose our food and wanted to order, the waiter said “oh we don’t have the minced steak today” We were there specifically for that reason and then had to order the prime beef for €15.90 instead of the minced steak for €10.90. We had extra side dishes that you can order free of charge, but the waiter never came here once. But you often read that the “cheap” things are out and you then have to order the more expensive ones. Still, it tasted delicious.

I recently visited this restaurant but unfortunately the experience was not particularly pleasant. The reception was initially friendly and we were allowed to choose our seat freely. However, what bothered me was that the wine I wanted to order wasn't available - just like it was a few months ago - even though it's still on the menu. The service was okay overall, but there were some negative aspects. The fries were cold and the size of meat requested was not available. The meat is served on hot stones, which is an interesting idea. But since I ordered a large piece (500 g), a single stone was not enough to fry the meat evenly. Unfortunately another stone wasn't brought to me in time and when I tried to ask for it I was told to let me know if I needed anything as the waiters themselves were at the table. After a few minutes I had to get up and go to another room to ask for a new stone, which I found to be unprofessional. Another drawback was the temperature of the food: the grilled vegetables were only lukewarm. All of these little things added up and made me feel less than welcome. I think the organization of the staff could be improved to provide guests with a more pleasant experience.

Four of us stayed at ABACCO'S and were warmly welcomed. There was virtually nothing going on on a Thursday afternoon (in winter/January). First of all, despite the fact that there was hardly anything going on, it sometimes took a long time for the waitress to come to the table. Orders were then taken quickly and everyone received their food at relatively the same time, also all equally warm/hot, which is commendable (or is it supposed to be?). The important thing: the food was great. The principle of the steak is that you get it lightly pre-fried and the hot stone does the rest at your own place. You have a stone that keeps the steak warm and one on which you can cook the steak to your own favorite degree - and it works great. If the stone ever gets cold, you can simply get a new one and move on. I haven't had many steaks in my life, but this was the best I've had so far - even though I had to "prepare it myself". ;) Others who weren't particularly enthusiastic about steak were also completely convinced. The dips are more unusual than anywhere else, some people liked them, others didn't quite like them. The potatoes with sour cream were without exception good. The fries, on the other hand, were a bit weak, but could be balanced out well with the dips. By the way: You can reorder any addition to the steaks free of charge as often as you want (or can eat). We didn't make it to the desserts or dare because we were too full. Depending on the choice of steak, starter/side course and drink, the price is in the slightly higher middle range. On average, you should expect to spend €40 - €50 on a good meal, but if you only want something small "in a hurry", you can also get by with €15 - €25. Apart from the poor service at times (maybe just my opinion), the steakhouse is a definite recommendation!

Unfortunately the stones weren't hot, the waiter often ignored us and by 5 p.m. on Saturday many of the steaks were no longer available. It can't be that the 200g steak is not in stock, but the 300g steak is then offered. After 2 hours we had to vacate the place again. Too bad...

Excellent restaurant. Great meat and great ambience. After the visit you might not want to do anything else. The meat is finished cooking on hot stone plates. That's why the clothes smell like you're standing in the kitchen. Homemade lemonade very tasty. Side dishes are excellent and you can reorder them for free at any time.

Unfortunately the meat wasn't good at all and arrived completely raw, then you had to fry it yourself and order what felt like 5 new grill plates because they always got cold. Funny concept, but it was our own fault for not knowing that. For so much money 150€+ I think the quality of the meat is poor, unfortunately I won't go there a second time and would recommend a real steakhouse to everyone.

We were really satisfied. For dessert we wanted crème brûlée, but it wasn't available so we ordered 3 panna cotta variations for the two of us, which were also very tasty.

Abbaco’s Steakhouse offers a fun, interactive dining experience for steak lovers. We tried the Argentinian Ribeye and US Prime New York Strip. Both steaks came seared and served on a hot rock(idk if there’s a word for this) , allowing you to cook them to your liking. However, since the meat wasn’t very thick, it was difficult to cook it to a proper medium or beyond. You can cut the steak into smaller pieces to help, but it might not be ideal if you’re not confident in cooking your own steak. The steaks were served with regular potatoes, and we ordered extra sweet potatoes as a side. Both types are unlimited—once you pay for the side, you can keep asking for more at no extra cost, which is a great perk if you’re hungry. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, which added to the overall experience. We also tried the New York Cheesecake for dessert, but it didn’t impress us. Despite that, the steak quality and service make this place worth a visit, especially if you’re up for a more hands-on dining experience.

I've been a guest at many Abacus and have never experienced anything like waiting times. Staff promise you they'll come and then they don't serve you and then unfortunately I can't rate it because we got up and left after 20 minutes. After all, the waiter cared nothing more than simply taking our order when we were in a hurry.

We went to Abacco's today for a birthday dinner. Unfortunately nothing special was done, even though they knew it was a birthday reservation. We left around €500 for 8 people. But the real reason for the rating is that the amount that my mom and I paid seemed like a lot to me at the beginning. We talked about it again and we noticed that the waiter deducted €20 from us. I paid with my mom and we both had the small Argentinian sirloin steak for rounded up €20, then 3x side dishes, which rounded up to €18 and a shandy each. We also tipped around €10, so the waiter pocketed a nice (almost) €30. Thanks for that! Also, the kitchen floor is a bit dirty.

I went to Abacco’s Steakhouse a few days ago. The visit was spontaneous in the evening. Overall a very positive experience. What I liked: 1. The food itself. The sirloin steak was tasty and the salad was fresh. The drink, a cola, also felt somehow fresh, I can't describe it, as if it came straight from the production facility. The cheesecake for dessert was delicious, even if it was a bit heavy on the stomach later. 2. The service. The reception and service staff have made every effort to ensure that guests feel comfortable and enjoy the food and the discreet atmosphere. 3. The location and the ambience. Although very centrally located in the heart of Munich, the location is quiet and discreet. Not too loud and not too quiet, pleasant and friendly, that's exactly how it should be. The smiling staff further enhanced the experience.

Food was quite good. Service was only so so, until it came time to pay, at which point it became horrible. I waited patiently for 20 min after finishing my meal. Signaled my desire to pay. Waitress had to first clear her table where she had taken a meal. Then took an order from somone for a drink. Then waited and chatted w coworkers at bar while drink was prepared. Then delivered drink. Then disappeared. Reappeared doing similar things. At about the 30 min mark I stood up and put on my coat. She came over and asked if I needed anything else. I politely said no and that I would like to pay. She quickly walked off and took an order at a new table. Disappeared. Reappeared at the bar. After a other 10 min I walked over to the manager and politely asked to pay. He caught the eye of the waitress who acknowledged. 5 min later she's still not back. At very long last she arrived w her bank and cr card machine. It's now been at least 45 min. I wanted to pay cash. Bill is just over 70 Euro. I gave 2 50s but she didn't have the right change and asked if I had a 5. I agreed to just use credit. Now for the pis de resistance, she asked if I wanted to tip.

Very nice restaurant. Great dishes that are beautifully prepared and taste great. But...if you take a closer look, you'll notice the dirt, especially the dust on almost all the ventilation grilles that run near the ceiling throughout the restaurant. What was also unpleasant was that when you left the restaurant you “smelled” like you were coming from a cheap chip shop. In our opinion, it shouldn't be possible in this price range. We are used to different things.

I had a very disappointing experience with Abacco’s Steakhouse. A few months ago, I did a trial shift as part of a job application. I signed all the necessary paperwork and completed the trial shift, yet I never received a call back. They assured me they would contact me, but they didn’t—even to let me know the result. This lack of communication is highly unprofessional and shows a complete disregard for people. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Liked this place so much, went twice during a 5 day trip to Munich. Conveniently located a few minutes walk from U-Bahn station Sendlinger Tor and close to Viktulianmarkt, it's a great alternative to the German beergarden fare. They serve the meat rare on a hot stone and you just leave it on until it's done the way you like. They'll even bring another hot stone later in the meal if the original starts to cool. Fun and interesting take on the cook your own thing. Did I mention unlimited free french fries? Unless you're a hearty eater, the small and medium portions should suffice. They serve wine in .2 l pours, rather than the usual .125 l. You'll spend about the same as the better Viktulianmarkt places. Also a nicely decorated quiet place, really relaxing.

We had a very nice waitress who was very accommodating. It was my first time in this restaurant and the system with the hot stone on which you roast your meat was new to me, but it wasn't really my thing either. The meat was delicious and I can recommend the homemade lemonades. The system where you can reorder the side dishes for free is really a nice change. I personally prefer a classic steak restaurant but you can definitely try it out.

Light and shadow in Abaccos... Reception friendly, ambience quite nice, service reserved and friendly. Order (1x US ribeye 300g and 1x Argentine fillet 150g, plus fries and 3 dips as standard, additionally ordered 1 Caesar salad and 1 house salad) came very quickly. Ideally, my steak comes from the kitchen to the table with the best meat quality and cooked to perfection (medium). The perfect cooking point no longer changes from the first bite to the last. In this case, my ribeye came, as expected, with the best meat quality, but sizzling on a hot stone at the cooking level "rare", with the advice that it was best to remove the steak from the hot stone, cut it into strips and then put the strips on the hot stone Stone to cook yourself to the desired cooking point. I don't think it's that great! Reason: 1. If I want to eat a steak, I don't want any kind of "sliced ​​meat" 2. The heat of the stone was enough to continue cooking the strips of meat, but as you eat the first strips, the others continue to cook, so the last strips are cooked sooner. 3. By the time the first strips were medium, the fries were cold. 4. The sizzling noise at the table causes your hair and clothing to take on an extreme kitchen smell! Price-performance is top. Fries are always refilled. The wines go well with the meat and are also reasonably priced. The staff is a bit slow at times and has a rather friendly approach to customers. We were a bit disappointed when we ate, the house sauces really weren't good, except for the chimichurri, which was fine. The meat was good, but we have eaten better quality meat. Still, it was a good experience.

An average restaurant with average quality and commercially set. The first thing I did yesterday was order a glass of champagne, it was warm and stale. When I alerted the waiter, he said he could give ice cubes. All other drinks were no better, blackcurrant spritzer warm and tasteless extended with water. Argentine fillet dry and not very flavorful and partly stringy, side salad wilted and partly brown in color and not edible. The sauces were tasteless, as were the drinks. Snack quality.

Very disappointing service – Absolutely not recommended! Despite a prior reservation, we were seated at a table directly in front of a service exit: the back part, which was also around the corner and without lighting. It was very uncomfortable. Mill wagons were pushed past, which massively disturbed the atmosphere. The food couldn't be enjoyed properly at all due to the constant interruptions and the constant back and forth to "private room". When we asked the waitress and receptionist about it, we received no solution whatsoever. Instead, other tables that would have been suitable for us remained empty until the end. When we expressed our dissatisfaction, the only answer we received was: "If you don't like it, you can leave." This attitude is absolutely unacceptable! The staff was unfriendly and the prices were way too high for what was on offer. In total we spent over €350 – for a very unpleasant atmosphere and poor service. It was definitely not worth the visit and we certainly won't be coming back.

The meat is great, the experience even more. There are some caveats though. Fries are average and usually arrive cold. The grilled vegetables are served quickly and are still half raw. The sauces they put next to the meat are not binding so good with the meat or the fries (but that might be my personal taste). Extra sauces like ketchup, mayo you have to pay... When they exchange the stone for a warm one, prepare to have the meat juice come all over your clothes, but that is again part of the experience. Also, it is not cheap to eat here. Prepare to pay 50€ per person. Overall you will enjoy the meat and will be super full afterwards.

I went to a company Christmas dinner with colleagues. The ambience and venue are very pleasant, the waiters very helpful and friendly. The quality of the meat is very good. What could be improved is the selection of side dishes, e.g. spinach, and the wine list, which is not only short but also not sufficiently available. I don't know if this was a coincidence, but it definitely needs to be improved to ensure a better experience!

Great experience. Great meat quality, just really cool to roast your own meat on the hot stone. Pay for supplements once and request them for free as often as you want. Every steak comes with fries included in the price. We had a great evening! The apple pie was also amazing. Staff friendly and helpful. Of course the whole restaurant smells like meat and so do you after your visit, but you have to die a death. It was also quite crowded and therefore loud. The food came really quickly, really quickly, less than 5 minutes after ordering. All in all, absolutely recommended if you want something other than just eating out.
