Unfortunately, the fries were cold. The service was nice but assumed that you knew the process. Unfortunately no celebration. Food came quickly. The other waitresses elegantly ignored you. No hello and no goodbye. Ambiance was consistent with the steakhouse chain. So far everything is clean. Toilets clean. You can NOT take any leftover food with you.

Very disappointing service – Absolutely not recommended! Despite a prior reservation, we were seated at a table directly in front of a service exit: the back part, which was also around the corner and without lighting. It was very uncomfortable. Mill wagons were pushed past, which massively disturbed the atmosphere. The food couldn't be enjoyed properly at all due to the constant interruptions and the constant back and forth to "private room". When we asked the waitress and receptionist about it, we received no solution. Instead, other tables that would have been suitable for us remained empty until the end. When we expressed our dissatisfaction, the only answer we received was: "If you don't like it, you can leave." This attitude is absolutely unacceptable! The staff was unfriendly and the prices were way too high for what was on offer. In total we spent over €350 – for a very unpleasant atmosphere and poor service. It was definitely not worth the visit and we certainly won't be coming back.

The meat is great, the experience even more. There are some caveats though. Fries are average and usually arrive cold. The grilled vegetables are served quickly and are still half raw. The sauces they put next to the meat are not binding so good with the meat or the fries (but that might be my personal taste). Extra sauces like ketchup, mayo you have to pay... When they exchange the stone for a warm one, prepare to have the meat juice come all over your clothes, but that is again part of the experience. Also, it is not cheap to eat here. Prepare to pay 50€ per person. Overall you will enjoy the meat and will be super full afterwards.

I went to a company Christmas dinner with colleagues. The ambience and venue are very pleasant, the waiters very helpful and friendly. The quality of the meat is very good. What could be improved is the selection of side dishes, e.g. spinach, and the wine list, which is not only short but also not sufficiently available. I don't know if this was a coincidence, but it definitely needs to be improved to ensure a better experience!

Great experience. Great meat quality, just really cool to roast your own meat on the hot stone. Pay for supplements once and request them for free as often as you want. Every steak comes with fries included in the price. We had a great evening! The apple pie was also amazing. Staff friendly and helpful. Of course the whole restaurant smells like meat and so do you after your visit, but you have to die a death. It was also quite crowded and therefore loud. The food came really quickly, really quickly, less than 5 minutes after ordering. All in all, absolutely recommended if you want something other than just eating out.

I was there yesterday at lunch time, unfortunately it was a disaster to describe it in one word, this restaurant has significantly deteriorated not only in the service but unfortunately also in the quality of the meat. It's a real shame because we enjoyed visiting this restaurant at irregular intervals and recommended it to others. For me it's a great concept. Everyone can determine the degree of doneness of the steak at the table according to their own taste. Delicious homemade sauces and a “French fries flat rate” make the visit a culinary experience. The meat quality and service are TOP! Price/performance is also okay, we would be happy to come back.

What can you say about Abacco's? The food was - as always - top and the service was, as usual, friendly and accommodating. Our friends, for whom it was their first Abacco's experience, were also thrilled. This was the fourth Abacco's branch that we have tried and we have been thrilled every time. In terms of ambience, however, we like Frankfurt and Düsseldorf a little better. The only thing I don't understand: Why can't I enjoy my steak in an Abacco's in Berlin?

Very good steak house with a wide range of steak types and origins (Argentina, USA,...). The steak is served on a hot stone and you can continue to fry it as desired. There is a large selection of side dishes. The fries were pretty average. There are 3 sauces with the steak. The steakhouse is centrally located between Marienplatz and Sendlinger Tor. The service staff was friendly and accommodating. The prices are reasonable but high. You should definitely make a reservation in the evening.

We made a reservation online for a Saturday evening for two people. We got our table. The service is quick and friendly. We ordered drinks, appetizers and steak. Everything was served at once within <5 minutes, despite the obviously small table capacity. The concept of getting the steak seared and still raw on the inside and bringing it to the desired doneness on the hot stone is NOT my thing personally. For a 500g steak you inevitably need a second stone because the first one cools down quickly. With all the hoopla and shoving around, I personally lose the desire to eat. But the quality of the meat was very good. The prices are good and the steak comes with fries and three sauces. Everything was very tasty. Unfortunately the atmosphere isn't that great. It's cramped and noisy when it's full. You're just rushed through and you feel like you have to hurry and you can't eat in peace. There is a point deduction for this. Otherwise everything is fine and clean.

So you go there so you can sear your own steak on the stone, which is also a varied experience. All the side dishes were bad and cold, I ordered new side dishes because I know what price I'm paying. After the last visit with our customers we probably won't come again because it was a bit embarrassing. We were there at 5:45 p.m. The restaurant was empty and there were plenty of wait staff there. After about 20 minutes of waiting, someone asked us if everything was OK. We said we would like to order. There was then a discussion next door about which table belonged to whom. We ordered drinks and food. I wanted an aperitif. Suddenly, after 5 minutes, food arrives. No drinks. My boss was waiting. After another 5 minutes the remaining food arrived. No drinks. At some point the drinks came. However, the meat was all streaked with fat (sorry post-processing, I mean sinew).) I had to drink my appetite with my meal and I was already halfway through. I don't quite understand why we were processed so quickly even though the store was empty. We would have ordered a lot more if it hadn't been for such disastrous service and I'm not talking about politeness here. We definitely imagined something different. First drinks, you can chat, then you usually order a drink with your meal, the food comes at the same time, etc. Just like usual.

It was my first time there and I have to say - overall a great experience. The steak/meat selection is really great and everyone will find something to suit their needs. The service was really, really good! Always friendly, fast and attentive! The food tastes really good, is beautifully presented and you can order sauces and side dishes for free! Since it's slightly smoky in the store with the stone plates for the steaks, you'll take the smell with you afterwards - but that has to be clear. We had a great place in the private room as a group, which was also good. It was also a perfect way to have a conversation. This is otherwise difficult for larger groups due to the size of the restaurant. Absolutely recommended - you have to try it!!

The problem with Abaccos for me is that they are far too inconsistent. I visited them recently and ordered an Argentinian “rib eye” which was definitely not it. It was full of sinew and just chewy. I've visited her several times and that was the worst time so far. Service was nice. Side dishes were ok. I had extra sweet potato fries and potato gratin, both of which came cold. So unfortunately this visit was a total failure for me.

The steakhouse offers an elegant ambience and upscale prices. If you want to treat yourself to something, this is the right place. All the dishes taste excellent and the dips harmonize well. The staff is friendly and attentive. If, like us, you didn't know, the steaks are served very raw and you can determine your desired cooking point on the hot stone plates. The clothes may smell a little more strongly of food, but that's not a problem outside. We were there for a “small hunger” and will be back.

The map is a bit confusing at first glance, but at second glance you know how it works. Homemade lemonades, delicious. Delivering the food incredibly quickly. I don't think it was 10-15 minutes. Having the steak presented on a hot stone so that you can fry it yourself on the spot is great. Top, top, top. I can only recommend it. However, I found two things not so nice and somehow didn't fit into the ambience: Herb butter was frozen. We could hardly get them out of the small bowl and one of the 3 sauces that came with it on the plate was dried on the edge. Ugh, somehow a no-go given the atmosphere. Still, all in all, great restaurant, great ambience, great location, just a little expensive.

Our waitress was a young gentleman who was very attentive, he didn't bother us at all, he asked quite often whether everything was okay and whether we could use anything else, for example hot stones for our steaks. Which we found very good. Conclusion: price-performance ratio is great. Atmosphere very very pleasant. Service, extremely friendly and attentive. We were not seated for more than 30 minutes, and they only managed to find us the furthest table at the corner of the indoor hall with so many promises to move us outside that were not met even after 1.5 hours of sitting without even ordering a drink, sitting in unbearable heat. We had hijabis and it was clearly a RACIST decision to move a local group and not move us to the promised available table when it was cleaned and our patience and objection were only met with rudeness, loud waiters and manager answers and a request to either sit on separate outdoor tables or find ourselves another restaurant.

At lunchtime. Most of the tables outside were occupied. Only a few seats inside. There were two male waitresses in white shirts who served all the tables. My waiter was very nice and worked a lot. No criticism here. The other waiter, on the other hand, spent most of his time behind the bar or at the bar making small talks with other employees. The female employees in the black outfit were exclusively for the bar? One blonde one walked through the restaurant and just chatted with colleagues. She then brought a restaurant visitor to the table dressed. I don't need to mention that due to the 1 1/2 waitresses for perhaps 20 tables, the service took a long time. The dish came very quickly and so did the drink. But if you had a request, it took 10 minutes for a (my) waiter to walk past (he wasn't sitting that far away from the bar). The concept is that you prepare the meat yourself on a hot stone plate to the desired degree of doneness. The meat initially comes medium rare (still bloody). I wanted my steak well done, although I'm also happy with medium well. When the steak is put on the hot stone, the meat only cooks for a few seconds/minutes until the sizzling stops. During this time the first portion of fries is eaten. By the way, they are very good. Then I had to wait a good 10 minutes until the waiter came over and I got fries (free of charge, that's good at this point) and another hot stone. Normally I know that I get my steak at about the desired level of doneness, as ordered, and then I can cook it a little more on the hot stone as needed, for example if it isn't well done enough for me. In that case, should I get a medium rare steak well done over the hot stone? This doesn't work. The inside doesn't turn red/bloody as easily because it's on the hot stone. Only the outside will make the meat browner. The steak would have to be grilled inside. Well, after the second hot stone was basically gone, I was half satisfied with the cooking level. I cut/cut the meat several times to sear it more effectively and also placed the inside on the stone. That helps a bit. Actually I would have needed a third hot stone, but then it would have taken me 30 minutes until I could eat my steak and build a tower at Barbel with the hot stones. I had finished my drink in the meantime, and no attentive waiter came up with the idea to check what was right and ask if anything was missing. I also had to reorder House Fries and approach the waiter myself with hand signals from a distance. When I was finished, I wanted to pay. It took at least 15 minutes for the waiter to come my way and bring me to me. After at least 10 minutes I placed the wallet on the table in front of me and then opened it. The people at the bar just looked. By the way, a man and a woman in a white shirt/blouse (probably the managers or even owners) were sitting behind me and had no interest in what was going on in their restaurant, preferring to sit in front of the PC. Maybe they could have intervened at some point. By the way, that slowly got to the point where I wanted to complain about the store to these same people. But then luckily I was able to pay. By the way, the toilet is very dimly lit and elegantly done, at the expense of visibility. I would like to mention that my criticism is clearly directed at the management of the restaurant and not at the waiter who served me. He really worked a lot and felt like he was operating alone. Despite everything, it was very friendly and committed. Overall, the steakhouse is a disappointment. I hope things go better in the evening/holiday, when potentially there is more going on.

Despite receiving recommendation, it was an embarrassing mistake to bring our guests here. Nothing short of a disaster. Despite having a reservation, we were made to wait before being seated. When we were given a table, it was in the deep corner indoors where the temperature was unbearable, despite our request for an outdoor table, especially due to having a toddler and a member of our group with a health condition. The waitstaff assured us that we could move outside when a table became available, but when one did, they gave it to another group instead. When we raised our concerns with the manager, we were met with a rude and dismissive attitude as well as an unnecessary high tone on sight and ear of all other customers. Rather than apologizing or making any real effort to accommodate us, he offered to split our group across different tables or that we go to another restaurant. His comment that "This is the policy in this country" and "Why do I have to repeat myself?" was incredibly unprofessional and offensive, directed at us as a diverse and multi racial client group that is quite aware of local policies. Given the lack of basic hospitality and respect, we took our high end order elsewhere, to a restaurant where we were met with excellent food, outstanding service, and the respect that every customer deserves. I would not recommend this restaurant if you expect to be met with slightly respectful attitude, especially as international clients.

The staff was very rude! They just ignored our request to sit outside. we already had the reservation informing we have a toddler and it's too hot to say inside with him. They kept us waiting for more than 30 min inside. I kept confirming with them and they kept assuring me we can move to the table when it's cleaned. I noticed it's been cleaned so went to the waiter. He talked with another college and let a group went there. When we reached the shift manager, he talked to us in a very rude way and told us to leave then! Very inconsiderate to the fact that we have a toddler and I don't know if that was because we had hijabi women in our group or because he just didn't like us. Anyways we definitely refused to order and left in peace. Never again!

This used to be one of our favorite spots for steak in Munich. Today we can confidently say we are NEVER coming back due to the rude behavior of all staff from reception to management. We had a reservation and were not seated for longer than 20 minutes. We asked for an outdoor table and we were promised the next free table once it got cleaned. When a big enough table was free, staff smirked and seated another group and upon objection they, starting with shift manager, an Italian guy, confronted us with literal yelling and hostile behavior. We even tried to find solutions ourselves and they rejected all suggestions rudely and asked us to leave. This was a full 90 minutes without even having ordered a drink. We obviously left and are not returning. Our average bill would have been around 600 euros for this dinner. We took our business elsewhere due to your behavior, which I could only describe as discriminatory as the other group you preferred to seat outside after promising us a table were Germans and we are obviously expats.

The food was very good and the meat was of the highest quality. Unfortunately the food was brought before the drinks were even brought to the front. So it happened that I had white wine with red meat. We also saw that sometimes the main course was brought during the starter. Poor communication between service and kitchen. Too bad!

This was surely a good place to have steak…. I have had better but not in Munich so I can safely say for now this is the best… the garlic butter was my favourite thing and the steaks were good too. I love the concept of having to cook the steak yourself on the grill…. That is entirely cool… would recommend

We were offered another drink today when we arrived After we wanted to order dessert, we were told that we had to leave now. You are not allowed to sit for longer than 2 hours because the table is needed. We were not informed of this beforehand. Never been like that before. Possibly new policy of the house.

Food great, service a flop! I was recently at the Zum Goldenen Kalb restaurant and had mixed feelings: the food was really excellent, well-crafted and of a high standard in terms of taste. There's nothing to complain about there. Unfortunately, the rest of the visit was anything but pleasant. The service was unfriendly, chaotic and sometimes seemed disinterested. One would have expected a minimum of professionalism from the boss himself - instead there was an atmosphere that was simply unpleasant. I wouldn't hesitate to come back for the food, but the service? An absolute no-go. It's a shame that such a kitchen is overshadowed by such lousy service. Overall, unfortunately only 2 out of 5 stars.

The meat was of good quality and cooked as requested. The side dishes are very expensive and few. The service was fine. The forces came by a few times, but only as often as necessary. The ambience was not outstanding. I liked it, but that special something I was hoping for at these prices was missing.

Disaster!!!! First we were placed on a small table where hardly anyone could get through anyway. Although there was another table free in the corner, according to the reservation sign it would still be available for another hour. The spaeeribs jugs and were luke warm. After the first few bites we noticed that the meat wasn't completely fresh! Despite the sauce, this was noticeable. The assumption was true for an hour in the toilet and continued like this for hours.... The ambience is rather simple and rough But service was ok We're out of here forever - for 20 euros without a side dish you can expect something decent and, above all, fish!!!!
