Excellent steaks and good side dishes

We spontaneously decided to eat there. We had the best steak we've ever had! Lots of choices! TOP SERVICE! The prices are typical for the quality! Highly recommended! We'll be back! Today was a couple's day out in Munich, and we took the opportunity to go to Abbaco's Steakhouse again. This time we made a reservation. 😆 The service has improved even further, so there were no complaints and it's second to none. The food is superb and highly recommended for meat lovers. They also have other dishes. 😁 The homemade garlic dip is delicious and a must-try. Our absolute favorite steakhouse. Thanks for the great service and see you next time!

A fantastic evening! The Argentinian entrecôte was extremely delicious, and the fries and coleslaw were perfect! Our server was incredibly attentive and always at the table at the right time! A service oasis, not a service desert! We'll definitely be back!

An evening to forget at Bacos Steak. We arrived as a family, expecting a pleasant evening, but were greeted with arrogance and zero courtesy. As soon as we entered, the person at the front desk verbally assaulted us, without even saying hello. There were five of us, and he wanted to seat us at a table for four, then rudely moved a table without saying a word. The service was terrible: the waiters and waitresses were rude, unprofessional, and arrogant. The potatoes arrived cold, greasy, and mushy. I had ordered baked potatoes, but they delivered boiled ones. When I pointed this out, they replied, "Those are our baked potatoes." To make the evening worse, a blond boy, who looked to be 15, showed up, pretending to be the manager. Instead of apologizing, he wanted to argue with us. They even threatened to call the police simply because we expressed our displeasure with the treatment we received. The way they mocked my brother just because he has an Italian accent is also unacceptable. This behavior is shameful, discriminatory, and deserves to be reported. The meat was decent, but everything else—service, attitude, and respect for customers—would be completely overdone. A terrible experience, not recommended for anyone looking for a quiet and respectful evening. 👎

An absolutely disappointing experience – never again! We went to Abacos Steakhouse in Munich this evening and have never been treated so badly. The staff – including the young "manager" – were consistently arrogant, unfriendly, and disrespectful. Instead of hospitality, we received only condescending looks and rude service. We felt like we were a nuisance, not paying customers. The food was okay, but the entire atmosphere completely ruined the evening. The smell of smoke and grilling was everywhere – so strong that our clothes reeked of it after the meal. It was simply unpleasant to sit there. For a restaurant that calls itself a "steakhouse" and charges premium prices, the staff's behavior is an absolute disaster. It's a shame about the beautiful location – with a team like that, I can only advise against going there. In short: mediocre food, terrible service, bad air – never again Abacos! 👎

Honestly. Good quality meat, but unfortunately poorly cooked, almost raw, and flavorless. €65 for a portion is justifiable, but at least cook it properly.

A great concept, good quality, very lively. Worth experiencing, the price is reasonable, and the atmosphere is good. A bit hectic, but with the right company, time seems to stand still! I can only recommend trying the restaurant; unfortunately, it doesn't have the potential to become a regular, but it's worth every visit! Warm greetings from Berlin. <3

It used to be better. From the service to the quality, it definitely used to be better. Nevertheless, the restaurant is still worth a visit for steak lovers. However, be prepared for longer wait times, from ordering to being served and for reordering.

Cooking your own meat at the table on a lava stone, exactly how you like it, is something completely different and lots of fun! The meat quality was excellent, the sauces and fries were delicious! The Tom Kha Gai soup was extremely good! The wines were excellent. The service was wonderful, very attentive and friendly, and the food arrived quickly. It was a Saturday evening, and the last-minute online reservation worked perfectly! The restaurant was packed, and unfortunately, there were two birthday parties going on at the same time, which was not only very loud but also extremely hot inside. Ventilating once an hour wouldn't hurt! 👍 Otherwise, a truly lovely experience! ☺️🥂

Nice restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and service. As an experience, I didn't like the cooking on stones at the table. It made me nervous. Such good meats should come properly cooked as you order them and not have to cut them and check if the cooking is what we want. So some were lower and some higher than what we ultimately wanted.

There was a cockroach next to the dinner table. Sorry, but never again.

The service and food quality are impeccable. It's well worth the money! Try not to wear anything too fancy to avoid the aftertaste of your meal, as it's hard to get rid of the odor. Even so, your clothes will smell delicious!

The meat is good and the place looks very nice. However they have short offer for wines and, even with the short offer, they didn't have any bottle of our first two choices. The waiter that was in charge of our table was not attentive. We had to ask some of his colleagues to call him, several times. Also a lot of noise from other tables. There's definitely room from improvement.

I made a reservation just in case. The steak was delicious, and fries were included as standard. If you're going with a group, it's best to order a variety of dishes. The portions are generous. I think even a small size would be enough. The portions are generous.

We ordered steak with fries, coleslaw, and grilled vegetables. The meat was very good, and cooking it yourself on a hot stone to your desired doneness is a great idea and fun! HOWEVER, the side dishes were very disappointing. The grilled vegetables were barely seasoned and hadn't been on the grill for long enough; they were bland. The coleslaw was a ready-made product and inedible for us; it was just white cabbage and carrots mixed with mayo. There was definitely room for improvement. We've had much better fries. The staff was friendly, but they forgot to serve the side dishes, which were only served upon repeated request, hence only four stars.

Everything was perfect from the start. The waitress was in a great mood and friendly, and the food was fresh and perfectly prepared. I'll be back.

The food was consistently very good. It just came out very, very quickly – even before the drinks, which could perhaps be improved. Otherwise, almost everything was fine, except for the smell in the restaurant. The hot stone slabs on which the steaks are cooked (which is the gag and the USP) enveloped the entire place in smoke and greasy air. People who wear glasses won't enjoy it afterwards; you have to have good cleaning equipment with you. It goes without saying that you have to wash your clothes immediately afterward, because the grease doesn't come out on its own. Tip: Don't go out afterward, because people will think you've just come back from your shift in the kitchen at the deep fryer. The smell is a real shame, because that's why I won't eat there again. I'll try outside again in the summer... but it just doesn't work inside.

There's no ventilation or air conditioning, so it's very warm while eating. The food is very good.

Honestly, this place feels like a steakhouse on early retirement. Everything looks tired – the decor, the details, even the service limps along as if it had a long day. Prices, on the other hand, are very much alive and kicking – way too high for what you actually get. When making the reservation I specifically mentioned it was my child’s birthday and asked for a little cake. Apparently, that request went straight into the void, because nothing happened. For a parent, that’s not just disappointing, it’s insulting. Yes, they try to impress with a flashy steak presentation, but it’s like fireworks with no sound – all show, no soul. The food itself? Bland, forgettable, and completely lacking spark. In short: overpriced, underdelivered, and not worth the hype.

Excellent place where you have a unique experience to finish cooking your food on volcanic stones. The Garlic butter was a great compliment to my steak. The sweet potato fries were cold but I just put them on the stone as well to warm up. The waiter from the Ukraine was very nice and attentive. Give this place a try!
