10/10 from start to finish. Alex and his sidekick Otakara were super attentive to us. We took the porterhouse steak to share along with a side and the volcano chocolate desert and of course a great wine suggested by Otakara himself. This was the best steak we had eaten in recent memory. Thank you both! :-)

George Prime is a fantastic restaurant in the city center of Munich. If you are looking to branch out from the traditional Bavarian fare, a steak dinner here is hard to beat! Just make sure to save room for desert - they have unique options like baked Alaska and a choc lavaball!

Horrible experience. Ordered porter house for 2 - medium. Came out medium-rare. After the server has cut it into pieces, says we'll heat it up more since it's going to take forever to cook a new steak. Comes out 10 minutes later and it's well-done. Offers discount or desert. I don't eat sugar or wheat and wife was full so we wanted a discount. Another server has no clue about a discount or complimentary desert. They decide not to charge us two glasses of wine but forget to bring out the bill. We finally had enough, got up and dinner night out was completely ruined. Unbelievable that a steak house charging these prices cannot get the basics like the temperature of the steak right TWICE IN A ROW. Talked to 3 or 4 different people during the night and nobody is aware what each other is doing and once the problem was voiced nobody wanted to take ownership and fix it.

We recently had the pleasure of visiting the George and I highly recommend it. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The starters were excellent and continued with the New York strip steaks. These were perfectly cooked, medium rare and full of flavor. All in all, it was a fantastic experience that I can recommend to every meat lover.

For service 10 of 5. Never experienced better service than in George Prime Steak. We had mostly seafood and a tartare, some extras like mushrooms saute and pure with lobster. Everything was delicious. Cocktails are tasty. Tea presented as it should be with lemon and honey. Very helpful and careful staff. I can only recommend this place to have a nice evening with friends or a date.

Amazing service. The steaks were amazing. Prices are a little high for portion sizes on the sides. While the servers were amazing i think there was a small language gap as I don’t speak German. We ordered sauces for the streaks we didn’t get. But they weren’t on the bill so I don’t think they realized we ordered them. Drinks were amazing as well. But slow to hit table which is surprising as most places keep the drinks flowing as it makes them money.

This was the second time that I dined at Georges’s Prime and it confirmed that it’s the best steakhouse I’ve been to in all of Europe! The beet salad, T-bone steak and all of our sides were perfect. When you are tired of Bavarian food and want a steakhouse like NYC or Chicago, this is the place!

This fantastic steakhouse is one of the few top-class steak restaurants in Germany. A visit there is definitely recommended if you would like to enjoy fine cuisine in a special ambience. Not only is the cuisine great, the prices are also at the top. The porterhouse steak for 2 people was excellently aged and then prepared by real connoisseurs. A dream! The drinks at the bar were imaginatively and creatively prepared and extremely tasty. Clear recommendation for people with a particular culinary interest.

We ordered 2x tartare as a double portion and were amazed when we were presented with 200g of perfectly normal tartare for a whopping 50 EUR. At first we thought they had misunderstood our order and only brought us one portion, but no, they had actually combined the two ordered portions into one "large" one for both of us. Of course this explains why there is no gram information on the menu (completely unprofessional by the way). In any normal steakhouse you usually get 200g or it is noted accordingly on the menu, which is why you don't ask and expect 300-400g for a double portion. For 50 EUR in other restaurants in the same or higher price range I can get either Wagyu tartare or it is garnished with truffles or caviar. Don't start telling me that dry aged is more expensive than Wagyu. Here you get an absolutely average tartare for more than twice the price.

We went to the George Prime Steak Restaurant for the first time today and loved it. The service was extremely courteous and extremely polite. Our dog was given special consideration. The atmosphere is pleasant with nice background music. The meat tasted very good and was cooked to perfection. The selection of side dishes is also varied. We were also very happy that we received special attention for our anniversary. We'd love to come back!

A surprisingly good steakhouse. Of course you have to dig a little deeper into your pockets, like with the classic steakhouse chains here in Munich. But the meat was really extremely good. That was nothing. The quality of the steaks is generally good, but... In a hotel in this price range, quality, preparation and service must all come together. There were four of us and we all ordered steak medium. When our porthouse steak is cut open, you can see that it is well done. When we draw the head waiter's attention, he reacts and takes it back without hesitation. But then the other guests are served first and it takes 30 minutes until they are served again. No more dinner together. The side dishes are also now being served, and the sauces, which are now cold, are only served upon request. But the bill was billed twice... Although the restaurant is only a third full on Saturday evening - that should make people skeptical in Munich - everything takes forever. When we ask you to bring us the bill, it takes 30 minutes for it to arrive and then there is double billing. And no one comes up with the idea of charmingly apologizing with a small gesture - perhaps a grappa on the house. Mistakes happen everywhere, but this was really too much. So be careful - there are better alternatives to eating delicious steaks here in Munich.

The service is very good. I particularly like the decoration. The T steak in the steak town shop is OKOKOK. The gelato on the seafood plate is super delicious and fresh. The service in the whole store is very good. My favorite waiter will not come over often to ask questions and interrupt the chat.

Arrived around 8:45 p.m. and asked for a table on the terrace. The gentleman who assigns the tables gave me a seat outside and also took my drink order. After a while my water came and the aperitif was forgotten. After a few minutes I went in and asked a (different) waiter about my missing drink. He said: Coming immediately, sorry. After another 10 minutes without an aperitif, I went back in and asked another waiter (I think it was the “manager”) for my aperitif. Another apology and a hint that he would take a look straight away. After another 10 minutes my food arrived (without an aperitif). I got up again, went in and asked the waiter, whom I asked the second time, if he was doing this on purpose or what exactly was the problem with my aperitif, since this is the fourth time I've asked. He said: “What, hasn’t he come yet!?”, apologized again, and after a few minutes the aperitif actually arrived. Steak (300g Wagyu Special) was completely fine and tasty. Side dishes are not 100% my thing. The style is a little different than most stores. Mushrooms, for example, prepared in a kind of broth and carrots in a slightly sweet/Asian way. Restaurant manager (tall man with gray hair) seemed listless and uninterested. Furthermore, he acted as if he only spoke English. I don't have to go here again. Another guest on the terrace was equally dissatisfied with the poor service and went in because “nothing was working” as he said. Since my waiter apologized for the inconvenience and gave me my aperitif and a glass of wine on the house, 4 stars.

Your experience will vary depending on what you order. The cowboy steak is the tastiest, while the other steaks I tried were disappointing. The sides are all very good, but the gratin is my favorite. Cocktails are very good with exceptional presentation. Desserts are very good, but it seems they don’t consider returning guests, as the selection doesn’t vary. How many times can you eat the same thing, even if it’s good? Wines were disappointing each time. Service is completely inadequate. They pretty much have one waiter who is very nice but has to run like a headless chicken once the restaurant fills up. This is absolutely unacceptable for the class they want to play in. Atmosphere-wise, I’m not a big fan. The restaurant always feels kind of boring. I’m glad they exist, but they need to import an experienced top-class restaurateur from abroad, maybe from France or the States, to reach a level that Munich is missing.

Im Erdgeschoss gelegenes schönes Lokal mit adäquaten Ambiente. Rundtische etwas zu klein, wenn vier Personen platz nehmen. Einige Teller waren nicht mehr bestellbar, da ausgegangen?! Kein Gruß aus der Küche! Nur Brot mit Olivenölbutter, wie beim Normoitaliener. Exzellente Austern und Longostinos (überschaubare Menge mit 3 schön dekorierten Langostinos). Ein weiterer geschmackvoller Vorteller war die knusprige Krokette, jedoch wieder nur eine einzige Krokette, etwas lächerlich. Die Fleischgerichte waren auf den Punkt gegart, das rib-eye jedoch fasrig und die Ränder nicht sauber ausgelöst. Das Filet Mignon musste man auf dem Teller suchen, das Thema Filetspitze wurde zu genau genommen. Gesamtdekoration der Teller sehr schwach. Die Nachtische waren schonmal opulenter, geschmacklich jedoch sehr gut. Es wurde u.a. eine Flasche Champagner bestellt jedoch nur zwei Gläser serviert, als dieses moniert wurde, kam dann eine ganze Flasche, letztendlich wurden die zwei Gläser und die Flasche in Rechnung gestellt, etwas unfein. Wir haben pro Person 250€ bezahlt, dafür kann man etwas mehr verlangen als das Angebotene insbesondere in der Umgarnung der Klientel. Es gab nicht einmal ein Abschluss des Hauses Bei unseren ersten Besuchen, war der Gesamteindruck besser.

There were four of us yesterday for a birthday dinner. We were very excited that we would often go out to eat in star restaurants. Wonderful welcome, cozy and modern atmosphere. That was the best. We had all the starters, the carpaccio was well presented, but otherwise there wasn't enough Manchego cheese, no rocket, no pine nuts - you should concentrate on the taste of the carpaccio. The steaks were all cooked correctly, I had the signature steak with bacon and blue cheese. It was good, but tasted like an Involtini. (veal rolls at the Italian restaurant), simply nothing special for the price. Sorry The cowboy steak was good but not very good, the filet mignon had very little flavor. But we were still sold sauces, so that was okay I can't recommend the side dishes, especially the potato gratin, which was gratinated mashed potatoes, and the other side dishes didn't suit the taste either. A pity. Person performance only 3 points

Unfortunately very disappointed with the restaurant. Our son wanted dinner with family and friends for his birthday. We were 8 people. It wasn't bad - but it wasn't good either and especially considering the price. Some examples - the ladies were neither helped into the chairs nor given the cards first nor were they given water. I was called (as an obvious parent) by a waiter all evening. The service was inattentive - we constantly had to stir ourselves - to order, get a wine list, order drinks... The main course was served so awkwardly that when all the plates were finally at the table - most of the meat was cold. We asked for a non-alcoholic cocktail menu. We were simply brought a cocktail - without asking about a flavor or preference. Luckily it was very tasty - but I've never experienced anything like it! As I said, the food was good but not prime - I've had much better steak in Munich. It's a shame because with better service this could become a prime restaurant. Then the prices would be justified.

Service very different. Sometimes you're very attentive to phases, and sometimes you're left completely alone. The steak was of good quality and the side dishes were excellent. Overall, it's just way too expensive. In many corners of Munich you can eat better in terms of taste and quality at slightly cheaper prices: Weinhaus Neuner, Cuvillies, etc.

We had a reservation for 6 p.m. to celebrate a birthday and it was really nice. The service was always there when you needed something but not intrusive and always friendly even when the restaurant was already full. The food was very good and the side dishes weren't run of the mill like usual, you could tell someone had put some thought into it! The selection of drinks is also excellent and if you don't like bourbon, it's your own fault. I can only recommend it and am already looking forward to the next time.

Leider eine sehr schlechte Erfahrung. Habe nie einen schlechteren Wein getrunken. Steak sollte Medium sein, war aber durch und ungenießbar. Dreckiges Geschirr wurde stundenlang (!!!) nicht abgeräumt, obwohl das Restaurant leer war und jetzt wissen wir warum. Eine hübsche Ambiente bei dem schlechten Essen und Service spielt leider keine Rolle

Phew, what can I say... we got the water we ordered after asking for the third time, otherwise no one was interested in us for the first 20 minutes anyway. - the starters were okay, the steak was also good, but that's not what you really expect at €30 or €70 per portion... Is it worth the money… Mmmmhhhh Will I come again - No The atmosphere was cool and slow, as was the service unfortunately. If you like that - here you go. I think there is no relationship between price and performance here.

Schon lange wollten wir in diesem Restaurant einen Abend genießen. Jetzt war es endlich soweit. Wir fanden das Essen sehr gut, Service hat viele Möglichkeiten sich zu verbessern, wobei es nicht an Freundlichkeit mangelt . Der Service Chef hat seine Gastgeberrolle beim Empfang & der Verabschiedung sehr professionell umgesetzt. Getränke Service, könnte aufmerksamer sein, die Getränke waren nicht passend temperiert, alles etwas zu warm . Hoffe es wird eine Weiterentwicklung stattfinden. Wir werden es wieder versuchen, das Essen hat geschmacklich und qualitativ überzeugt.

Keine Empfehlung. Die Konkurrenz in München ist groß und mit Abstand voraus (Theresa, Goldenes Kalb, Shane/Asam Schlössel, KVR und in Sachen Preis-Leistung auch The Ash) - das Essen ist zwar hochwertig aber das Gesamt-Ambiente kann leider die sehr hohen Preise nicht rechtfertigen.

Cocktails (PAPA REVOLUTION and MAI TAI FUSION) are great, food is also great, but you don't need the additional sauces for the steaks that are strongly suggested. Service is unfortunately bad, food and drinks are always brought to another table first, if they were left there they should actually go back to the kitchen. We didn't have a starter and it took 80 minutes for the food to arrive. You sit very tight and the benches are uncomfortable, either too soft (you sink in) or you sit on the slot between 2 cushions (like we did). Not nice either!!

Unpleasant experience. The Indian “chief waiter” introduced himself as “boss” right at the beginning (ego probably needed it), then we were allowed to listen to the story about where their steak restaurant was in the world rankings without being asked (ego probably needed it again), This story was also repeated at the neighboring tables (also in English). We then did some research into who was responsible for such a list and well, what can we say: it shouldn't be taken seriously. The walls were extremely dusty (see photo), which looked pretty unhygienic. I can understand that there is a construction site in front of the door, then you just have to walk across the dusty areas every day - as a restaurant with the best steak in Munich. The benches were so sagging that the edge of the table was at chest height for both me and my partner. You felt like a toddler. There are two stars for the food. It wasn't bad but definitely not the best steak I've eaten in Munich.

Albeit the ambiance and the vibe of this restaurant was nice, I can't say so about their specialty: the steaks. The wagyu steak we ordered was unchewable and unlike wagyu at all. I recommend staying away from this cut and saving your money. The tomahawk steak was better, but we ordered it "medium rare" and it came out still raw inside and tough to chew. I would've accepted a "rare", but this was very much "blue". The sides and the beurre maître d'hôtel were very tasty, but couldn't salvage the steaks. For a restaurant of this price class, I expect them to not butcher a delicate wagyu and know how to cook a steak to the desired doneness of the customer. Considering all the positive reviews, maybe we got a bad chef that day. Or maybe you guys like your steaks blue.

Das beste Fleisch Restaurant! Besser geht es nicht,wir waren schon überall auf der Welt,doch das Ribeye u Filet Mignon waren hier grossartig.Perfekt gebraten,zart u toll im Geschmack.Vom Empfang bis zur Heimreise fühlt man sich als Gast wohl, super Service mit freundlichen Mitarbeitern.Die Raw Bowle mit Hummer u Austern etc.sah grossartig aus.Die Portionen sind auch für Menschen mit „gutem Hunger“ top, was oftmals in der gehobenen Gastronomie ansonsten nicht gegeben ist.Ambiente sehr schön und ungezwungen, man fühlt sich wohl.Beim nächsten München Besuch gehen wir ganz bestimmt wieder ins George Prime!
