As a guest at the neighboring hotel, I wanted to have dinner nearby. The Steirer Schnitzel at Korn was very tasty, as was the service and the brisk meal

An absolute insider tip when it comes to steaks. Small shop (max. 20 seats), which simply has an incredible charm. The jazz music in particular gives the whole thing the perfect ending. And the steaks are absolutely amazing. Perfectly fried with a great crust. All in all, simply an outstanding steak restaurant.

Simply amazing! Super delicious food, steak was perfect, the homemade dumplings were delicious. Super friendly team, boss comes by personally to say goodbye, just a great atmosphere. We'd love to come back!

In 2016 and 2024 I visited the restaurant for the Christmas party. Nothing has changed over time. The food and wine are as delicious as they were back then, the staff as attentive as they were back then. The ambience warm and inviting. You just feel welcome here

The steak is very stiff. Absolutely crazy to offer this thing for 35 EUR. No draft beer. Small bottled beers only The beef soup for 8 EUR is just a small bowl with no taste colored water with few pieces of bread .

Cool Styrian chef! Located at a hotel. Cozy, not big, very tasty, perfectly fried steaks! Everything is very fresh, so it takes a little while, but it's worth the wait. We are happy to have tried it and not only recommend the dishes checked😉

Excellent steaks, very attentive service, even the chef checks on the guests regularly. The amuse gueule was terrific and there was something to aid digestion. The ambience and exclusivity, due to the limited places, do the rest. We'd love to come back! Be sure to reserve!

Service was great and very friendly. Good portion size for dinner. We ordered the 200g and 300g ribeye steaks. Only thing I would recommend is serrated steak knives so it would be easier to cut the ligament parts of the steak. Steaks were seasoned just right and the fries and Cajun vegetables complimented the steak well. Not the best steaks I’ve had, but they are still very good.

Cozy little eatery with a slightly quirky interior. Friendly service and surprisingly well-prepared food. Can definitely be recommended also with children.

This off the beaten track Steak Restaurant serves up amazing food but the only negative was that service was very very slow. We had been in the restaurant over an hour before we got our main meals. The ambience is pleasant though and like I said the food was all superb. If it wasn't for the slow service it would have got a 5 Star rating from me.

P.Korn is our favourite restaurant in Munich! We make sure to go on our annual visit. The food, wine, and atmosphere are excellent and we enjoy chatting to Mario the owner and chef.

Wir kennen das P.Korn schon lange und es ist immer wieder ein Hochgenuss. Die Qualität ist hervorragend und der Chef, der auch in der Küche steht, zaubert daraus ein Traumsteak. In meinen Augen in München unter den Top3 Steakhäusern. Klein sehr gemütlich und ein top Service. Absolut empfehlenswert.

This was the absolute best tasting food all 4 of us had ever had. The service was elegant and pristine and flawless with a grace never experienced before. The owner/chef was very welcoming and may be the best culinary artist of all time.

It is a small restaurant with seating for about 20-22 people. The chef and the wait staff are very friendly. I ordered their 300 g ribeye steak rare. It was cooked to perfection and delicious! No fussy sauces or other additions to hide any imperfections. Seasoned with simple salt and pepper. Just want the doctor ordered. I accompanied the steak with a house salad which was also really good. I also like my beers dark and alcoholic and they had the perfect one for me. The chef prepared the steak and followed up with me to check that everything was okay. It was excellent! The beer, the steak, the salad everything was on the money! They were getting ready to close by the time I was done with my dinner. I stepped out for a smoke and realized I was out. Tried to buy a pack from the vending machine right outside but it wouldn't accept my card and I couldn't understand the language on the display. So I asked the waitress for help but instead the chef came out to help me. We figured out pretty soon that the machine was not accepting international cards. So he offered me one of his cigarettes. Hehe! Best service I've had in Europe!

Beef Burger and their Korn is a MUST! So far one of the best burgers I have had in Munich. Friendly service and good price for great food!

Klein und fein, ist für auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Wir waren zu dritt. 2 x Vegetarier und ein Fleisch Liebhaber. Allen hat es super geschmeckt. Von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert war alles lecker. Beim Steak wurde der Garpunkt nicht getroffen, aber nach einem kurzem Hinweis wurde sofort ein neues Steak mit einem perfekten Garpunkt serviert. Der Küchenchef hat das Steak serviert und sich entschuldigt. Also, ein perfekter Service.

Bin für ne Woche auf Schulung in München. Bin im Hotel New Orly und somit isses perfekt. Essen ist verdammt lecker und der Service is überragend. 😁

Es war ein sehr gelungener Abend bei P. Korn Steakhaus: grandios schmeckendes Essen, nette und aufmerksame Bedienung, schöne Musik im Hintergrund. Es war eine sehr entspannte Atmosphäre, wir konnten uns sehr gut und ungestört unterhalten. Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis absolut gut. Sehr empfehlenswert, wir kommen gern wieder, wenn wir nochmals in München sind.

Gemütliches fast schon familiäres Ambiente. Die Preise sind vergleichbar zu anderen Steakhäusern evtl etwas höher, aber das Essen ist um Welten besser.

Kann ich nichts zu sagen musste gehen obwohl Tische frei waren

Steak quality was good, we liked the ribeye steak a lot!! However, we were disappointed with the starters. Grilled octopus salat with only two small pieces of octopus coated 15.9 euro… Each table gets a welcome dish from the kitchen, that is really nice. The restaurant is very small, so you need reservation:)

Reserviert für Freitag 17:45 Uhr und pünktlich angekommen. Garderobe abgelegt und an dem für uns reservierten Tisch, auf dem ein Schild mit unserem Namen (👍🏻) stand, Platz genommen. Die freundliche Bedienung brachte uns die Karte(n) und wir waren zu diesem frühen Zeitpunkt die ersten und einzigen Gäste. Als nach einem kurzen „Kartenstudium“ die Bedienung die (Getränke-)Bestellung aufnehmen wollte, kam der vermutliche Inhaber und Küchenchef mit an unseren Tisch, um uns mitzuteilen, dass aufgrund eines Ausfalls des Bezahl-Terminals heute keine Kartenzahlung möglich ist. So weit so gut, das kann vorkommen und sollte eigentlich auch kein größeres Problem darstellen, auch wenn meine Partnerin und ich nicht ausreichend Bargeld dabei hatten, so gibt es immer Lösungen, wenn man gewillt ist. An dieser Stelle sei erwähnen, dass es ein regnerisches und ungemütlicher Freitagabend war und wir uns in der unmittelbaren Gegend um das P.Korn nicht sonderlich gut auskennen. Soll heißen, keine Ahnung wie weit ist der nächste Geldautomaten entfernt steht, um Bargeld zu ziehen. Der vermutliche Inhaber machte hierzu leider auch keine Angaben Anstalten um uns über den nächsten Standort eines Geldautomaten zu informieren. Im nach hinein recherchiert, der nächste GA befindet sich 900 Meter oder ca. 14 Fußminuten entfernt vom P.Korn. Über den Fakt, dass ein Bezahlen mit Karte nicht möglich ist, ich aber auch keine Lust verspürte bei dem regnerischen Wetter einen GA zu suchen, habe ich als ein nach einer Lösung orientierter Mensch vorgeschlagen, ich kann auch via Paypal bezahlen. Bei dieser Form der Zahlung benötigt man kein (funktionierendes) Terminal, sondern lediglich ein Paypal-Konto. Auf diesen Vorschlag meinte der „Inhaber“, dass er das mit seiner Frau abklären müsse und verschwand Richtung Tresen/Küche, um mit seiner Frau zu telefonieren. Das Telefonat dauerte dann doch gefühlt länger als vielleicht notwendig und vermittelte den Eindruck einer Diskussion zwischen den Beiden. Als dann das Gespräch beendet war, kam der Inhaber zurück um mitzuteilen, dass eine Zahlung per Paypal zwar möglich ist, aber es einem nicht so recht wäre, schließlich würden Gebühren anfallen! Diese Aussage habe ich dann, ich würde es einen „verwunderten“ Blick nennen, wahrgenommen, um dann von dem besagten „Inhaber“ die Aussage zu erhalten, dass ich Ihn jetzt aber Vorwurfsvoll anschaue! Ab diesem Moment habe ich die Welt nicht mehr verstanden und meine Freude auf einen schönen Abend bei gemütlicher Stimmung und guten Essen begann zu bröckeln. Wir bestellten zwar noch als 2x Aperitif P.Korn Sprizz (7,50 €), nachdem es keinen Martini Bianco gab. Doch die Stimmung für einen schönen Abend war leider weg und wir baten um Bezahlung mit Bargeld, immerhin hatte ich ca. 50.- € Bargeld eingesteckt, jedoch nicht ca. 120.- €, die wir bestimmt benötigt hätten, um so zu dinieren (2x Aperitif, 2 Rinderfilet, Beilagen, 1ne Flasche Wein, 1ne Flasche Wasser und vielleicht noch ein Dessert) wie ursprünglich geplant. Erwähnen möchte, dass der Aperitif aufs Haus ging, dennoch habe ich 20.- gegeben, so dass wenigstens die freundliche Bedienung von diesem missglückten Abend etwas hatte. Ergänzend zum obigen Vorschlag mit der Bezahlung per Paypal habe ich den Vorschlag gemacht, dass meinerseits zusätzlich die Möglichkeit einer Bezahlung per Blitzüberweisung besteht, hierbei hätte ich Gebühren von ca. 2,50 € zu tragen, was auch kein Problem gewesen wäre und der „Gastwirt“ hat sein Geld genauso sicher oder sicherer als bei Bezahlung mit Kreditkarte. Zur Bezahlung via Paypal gibt es noch zu sagen, dass es 2 Möglichkeit einer Bezahlung gibt. Bei der Transaktion „Bezahlen an Freunde“ fallen keine Gebühren an und der Zahlungsempfänger hat das Geld und ohne Risiko (!) und sofort auf seinem Konto. Resümee: Zurück bleiben 2 hungrige und zahlungswillige Gäste, ein (Gast-)Wirt mit entgangenem Umsatz und eine **Bewertung, bezogen auf das schlechte Problem-Management der Inhaber.

Ein schönes Ambiente und sensationelles wohlschmeckendes Essen.

One of the best steakhouses, if not the best, in Munich with a great selection of meats. Perfect cooking of the beef that keeps the juices and the taste. Plus, they also serve the dishes with a nice selection of sauces. Cozy ambience, yet still elegant and with soft music. Nice service. Overall everything was quite perfect, so if you want to enjoy a beautiful evening, this is the place to go. It’s perfect for a date night with your wife, like in my case! I will come back and I will also recommend this place.

Waren im Hotel "New Orly" und hatten eine Reservierung im Restaurant. Es war mega lecker! Bin verwöhnt was Steaks betrifft, aber die Qualität hier hat mich sehr überzeugt. Absolut empfehlenswert! Auch der Service war total nett und aufmerksam - Weiter so!

Carne ottima consigliato. La signora molto gentile. E lo chef molto bravo.

Nichts war wirklich schlecht, aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmte für uns einfach nicht. Vorspeise: Die gebackenen Champignons waren lecker, aber eine winzige Portion mit einem Klecks Remoulade - definitiv keine 9,80€ wert. Für die Kürbissuppe galt das gleiche. Hauptgericht: bei 3 von 5 Steaks war der gewünschte Garpunkt nicht getroffen - bei einem Steak-Spezialisten keine gute Leistung. Das Ribeye ließ das gewünschte Fettauge in der Mitte vermissen - dafür fand man Silberhaut am Rand und einige sehnige Stellen. Bei allen Steaks war unserer Meinung nach der typische Beef-Geschmack nicht sonderlich ausgeprägt. Besonders beim Filet (42€ ohne Sauce, Kräuterbutter oder Beilagen) war das enttäuschend. Auf Dessert haben wir verzichtet - auch so hatten wir zu fünft eine Rechnung von über 300€. Definitiv zu viel für das was geboten wurde - auch und insbesondere im Vergleich zu anderen Steakhaus Alternativen in München.

After spending years of going to Little London steak house my father stumbled across this steakhouse and what a wonderful surprise!!! The Food is top quality and with an Austria Chef you can never wrong! Best food in town hands down

Also die Bewertungen hier haben uns angespornt hier zu essen. des Weiteren war das Restaurant gleich neben unserem Hotel. Zusammengefasst sei gesagt das Essen war gut, aber bei weitem nicht so gut wie der Ruf der hier in den Bewertungen steht. Mein Steak (Filet) war entsprechend der Bestellung gebraten das war ok, geschmacklich habe ich mit Sicherheit schon bessere gegessen, es war ein wenig zäh für ein Filet. Zum Service muss ich sagen, dieser war gut, wir haben ohne Vorbestellung einen Platz bekommen. Die Terrasse draussen liegt hinter dem Haus und ist sehr ruhig. Der Preis mit 39 € ohne Beilagen ist ordentlich, dafür hätte ich eine bessere Fleischqualität erwartet.

Im P.Korn sind wir bereits seit Jahren Gast. Ausnahmslos jeder Abend ist makellos gewesen. Die Einrichtung mischt Eleganz mit Steakhouse-Charme und die lediglich einstellige Zahl an Tischen gibt einem ein Upgrade-Gefühl. Die Karte konzentriert sich auf Steak, saisonal wechselnd werden aber auch spannende Abwechslungen angeboten. Auch die Desserts werden stets der Saison angepasst. Ein Hauch der Heimat des Inhabers - der Steiermarkt - findet sich in einigen Vor- und Nachspeisen und manchmal auch in Hauptspeisen wieder. Und das gelingt ihm immer. Dass wir von Anbeginn (2013 war unser erster Besuch) von derselben Bedienerin betreut werden - und auch in der Küche ist das so - gibt uns auch die Gewissheit eines angenehmen Betriebsklimas - fast schon eine kleine Familie. Wir freuen uns auf weitere Abende.

Were here for a dinner. Really nice and quiet atmosphere in the inner yard of the hotel next to it, the steaks were delicious and the service was great, even though there was a small mistake with the order. Really liked the small appetiser the chef offered everyone free of charge.

Well, the waitress was doing her job, but not more. The Chef is nice, we ordered 2 different steaks, they were ok for the price. Otherwise, liked the interior and prices. However would not say everyone must give it a try.

On ordering our steaks well done, the waitress summoned the owner who proceeded to give us and the other diners a lecture about fillet steak and why it could not be cooked well done. He offered to slice it up and cook it "Mexican style". The clear assumption was that we needed to be educated about our food, and didn't know what we were talking about. In fact, we have been lucky enough to eat in hundreds of great restaurants around the world, from London to Argentina, and from small basic restaurants like P Korn to Michelin starred. I used to write restaurant reviews. We have on occasion been asked whether were sure about our choice to have our meat well done, and been asked whether we minded it being butterfly sliced. BUT we have never had to endure a pompous lecture like this. So, if you want a decent steak, there are any number of great places in Munich. But if you want to be lectured and made to feel small, try P Korn. You ruined our daughter's birthday, so congratulations.

I booked this place for a treat for my husband during our weekend stay in Munich and when we first arrived I was a little sceptical, however the food was absolutely amazing! I can highly recommend the mushroom soup - the best I've ever tasted and the steaks were cooked to absolute perfection! And to top it off the chef and the lady at front of house are so friendly and welcoming you couldn't ask for anything more!

We took the advice of other Trip Advisor reviewers and booked weeks in advance so that 6 of us could celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday. The food was lovely, atmosphere perfect, service was professional and I’d thoroughly recommend the place.

We started our European travels in Munich and tried P. Korn based on other reviews. It was better than we even imagined. Wonderfully simple but elegant food with very robust flavors. It’s a small quaint restaurant away from the tourist areas with a very attentive staff. As we rounded out our 2 week trip, we spent our last dinner with P. Korn again. It was as wonderful if not more so than we remembered it. The mushroom soup is delicious and the cheese dumplings with sour cherries are incredible. And it’s definitely the best steaks we’ve had in Europe! Spend a little extra for their aged versions which are amazing! We hope to make it back someday.

We visited this restaurant in Dec. 2018 and were so happy that we did. The food was simply outstanding and the service was excellent - all with reasonable prices. The restaurant offers a small, intimate dining room, which is great for special occasions. The staff made us feel very welcome and we would definitely go back again.

Small, quaint, with a chef/owner who interacts w/you a tad who is quite nice/funny. WE were exhausted from our day so the chateaubriand & filet for 3 was perfect. Potatoes, veggies..perfect. Make a res to get on for only a few tables. Will go again...

I was with 3 more friends at this restaurant during week with no reservation, and we were lucky to find 1 free table. It's quite small rest. with only 6 tables but it worth to go there at least once! The staff is very nice....
