Never again! An absolute disgrace!
Our visit to Patilla in Bad Mergentheim was a disaster from start to finish. We were there with two small children - and what we experienced was just outrageous!
First we had to wait forever for our food. And that with simple children's meals like kebab box with fries and nuggets - what takes so long is still a mystery to us to this day. Completely disorganized!
The craziest thing: guests who came after us got their food even earlier than our children with their simple dishes. You're really at a loss for words.
Then came the “food”:
I had a kebab plate for €13 – okay, that’s it. But my husband had a “grill plate” for €18, and that was the joke of the day: three measly pieces of chicken, a mini leg of lamb (really MINI!) and a tiny roll of minced meat. For 18 euros! That wasn't a meal, that was a bad joke. Brazen to even sell something like that as a main course.
And then the absolute disgusting moment:
After two bites, my husband finds a thick black hair in the middle of the plate! We've completely lost our appetite. We immediately returned the plate – but what happened? NOTHING. No apology, no word, no compensation. Simply removed without comment.
The employee with the long, greasy hair urgently needed to wear a hairnet - something like that doesn't work! Food hygiene is zero.
Conclusion:
Rip-off, unhygienic, unfriendly, chaotic.
We will definitely never come back - and can only advise everyone to avoid this restaurant! I would like to give zero stars, unfortunately that's not possible!
Good kebab, had Yufka with veal and a portion of fries. The Yufka was good, the fries were ok I would say, the staff were friendly. The ambience needs to be polished up again.
I come to visit my cousin in Stuttgart at least once a month and of course it has become a tradition to eat at adana sofrasi.
The taste is really unique. It just tastes like everything is like back home. It makes me happy every time!!
Disappointing and not worth the money!
I'm really upset about the quality of the kebab I got here. For a hefty price of €9 I would have expected at least a decent meal - instead I got something that doesn't even live up to a €5 kebab.
The bread was dry and hard, as if it had been sitting for far too long. The meat was tasteless, completely bland and devoid of any seasoning - as if it had just been heated up without any effort whatsoever. Although “heated” is almost saying too much, because the food was cold! Not lukewarm, not fresh – cold and inedible. The only taste I could detect at all was the yogurt sauce.
For this price I not only expect a larger portion, but above all fresh and warm ingredients with taste. Here the price-performance ratio is simply not right at all. I definitely won't be coming back, you've actually failed in terms of quality.
The only thing we got here was a menu, after that we waited and waited, the service wasn't overwhelmed and walked back and forth comfortably, at some point we had enough and went to another restaurant.
If you don't want to make money, you won't get any
If I want kebab, then here! Tastes great. The two “employees” there are very nice and always friendly. Sometimes it takes a while to finish something, even with only two customers including myself, but what's good also takes a long time. Prices are actually okay too.
Unfortunately, the last 15 years have gotten worse and worse, but prices have doubled. The guys are good and nice, but you just don't get the same quality as before, but you pay a lot more for it.
I wouldn't recommend it these days.
