!!! WARNING: Absolutely disappointing and definitely not recommended!!! We were looking forward to a lovely evening with Syrian cuisine, but were completely disappointed. Despite the many positive reviews (which we now strongly suspect are not authentic), our visit was a disaster. The restaurant was almost empty, yet we still had to wait forever for our food. The server seemed completely overwhelmed, wandering aimlessly and inattentively around the room, barely speaking, and understanding little of what we said. Friendliness? None at all. The menu promised authentic Syrian dishes – what we got had absolutely nothing to do with that. Charred vegetables, extremely sour hummus, and the ordered dishes were not served as described. When we pointed out that some ingredients were missing from our plates, we received only a curt "We've recently changed something here. That's just how it is." The menu doesn't mention the change. No concessions, no explanation. Another point that struck us as very negative: The receipt was formally incomplete and lacked mandatory information. A visit here would definitely be of interest to the tax office and the health department. Conclusion: We are very disappointed, absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant, and advise everyone not to be fooled by the good reviews!

If there isn't a queue stretching all the way out onto the street, you can get delicious food quickly and cheaply.

The food was incredibly delicious, but the atmosphere was rather hectic. For the amount of pasta that many dishes contain, there's far too little bread. Are you supposed to eat the pasta by spoonful?

My favorite place for falafel! Always very fresh and tasty, the employees are super friendly and the prices are well below what is typical locally. I always enjoy sitting there and always wonder why there aren't more customers :) Just give it a try!
