We ordered online. The food came quite quickly and tasted great. The spices are quite unusual, but delicious. The food arrived warm.

There is nothing better than this. In fact, it is the best shawarma in Germany. The treatment is good from the accounting employee to the shawarma employee. Respectful guys and a clean restaurant. The tea is free. We came at 11 and the shop was ready with everything from manakish to meals to shawarma. There is nothing better than this.

As for the food, it literally takes your mind! I tried the mansaf and it was beyond expectations. The meat was so tender that it melted in the mouth. The shawarma was amazing, its spices were balanced, and the sous vide followed with an unforgettable taste. Even the small details, such as arranging the dishes and the way they are served, show that they have passion and love for everything they do. Seriously, I felt that this place not only satisfies the stomach, it satisfies the soul as well. I advise everyone who visits Leipzig to make time for wellness. An irreplaceable experience! Unfortunately, my visit to Al-AWAFI restaurant was disappointing. The service left a lot to be desired. The staff seemed unfriendly and not very committed. Even though I said “Hello” in a friendly manner, I was ignored and not even looked at or greeted. This is a fundamental aspect of hospitality that was unfortunately completely missing here. Overall, you don't feel welcome as a guest, which had a very negative impact on the entire visit. I hope the restaurant works on the friendliness and treatment of guests to create a more pleasant atmosphere in the future.

I had the dürüm kebab and a bowl of spiced rice. The kebab was pretty average, I was a little disappointed with it, but the rice was excellent. I should have had chicken with it. But you can find a lot of food here other than kebab, so I would give it another chance.

Very cheap food. I come from Dortmund and I pay twice what I paid here. Food was also tasty. The only thing that annoyed me was that you weren't served (you had to pick up your plates yourself and clean them up).

I noticed Al-Awafi's menu while looking for a new restaurant and was very curious! I think the unique selling point is the crispy menu! Very juicy chicken in a very crispy breading. You know... THAT breading! The special thing here is the seasoning: I would say cinnamon and cloves play a part. Exceptionally delicious! But overall I've never been disappointed. Because I've fallen so deeply in love, I'm slowly trying my way through the menu 🤤 I like the shish tahuk and the fajita too. Each in its own way! The falafels had a hole in the middle which made them incredibly crispy. Hmmm... All dips/sauces have been really good so far. And I think every dish always tastes something special and differs in taste from the restaurants in the area. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! AND/BUT: On my first visit there was such a delicious salad with the crispy menu. Carrot and cabbage, a bit like coleslaw, creamy. And then he never existed again. Where did this salad go? Unfortunately, I personally can never say it the way I want because of the language barrier. But hey, at this point: Al-Awafi, where did this salad go?

Essen ist Total lecker, aber es ist zum Beispiel Total egal, welches Sandwich man bestellt. Man bekommt immer das gleiche. wir haben an Zwei Tagen, je zwei Sandwiches, einmal Zenger und einmal Crispy. Beide male bekommen wir 2 Crispy. Nimms die anderen halt raus, wenn du nicht weißt wie man verschiedene Zutaten auf ein Baguette macht...

Vergiss KFC! Hab dort Crispy Teller bestellt. Richtig gute Qualität. Fleisch war frisch und saftig (nicht zu fettig) und die Panade richtig gut gewürzt. Nicht zu scharf. Eigene Geschmacksnote und sehr lecker. Pommes etwas wenig, aber der Preis war auch echt super fair. Ich werde hier wieder bestellen!
