The food was incredibly delicious, but the atmosphere was rather hectic. For the amount of pasta that many dishes contain, there's far too little bread. Are you supposed to eat the pasta by spoonful?

We ordered the "Damascus" buffet for a celebration...the pre-order process was seamless via email, the food was truly delicious and fresh, very plentiful, and delivered on time...We highly recommend it! Thank you so much!!

Maza Pita in Schleußig offers Syrian food at a good price-performance ratio. Dishes are prepared fresh and quickly after ordering. Despite the speedy preparation, there are sometimes waits due to high demand. The bistro has ample seating inside and outside, but most customers seem to order takeout. Various vegetarian and vegan dishes are available.

We love Maza Pita! The food is super tasty and there are many dishes without meat. The vegetarian variation platter in particular was super tasty and you could try everything. The prices are also reasonable. It's really a great alternative to a kebab shop where you can try out a lot of new things. The snack bar is always busy with long queues. The food still comes very quickly, as most of the dishes are already prepared on the plates when you order. Maza Pita is definitely worth one or more visits and should be tried.

Price performance 10/10. Sometimes too sour for my taste.

It's just sooooo delicious! We have been coming here for a long time and always enjoy it. The food is so delicious, I would give it 10 stars if I could. Over the years the quality has not decreased! We usually order the Syria plate, it's a perfect mix, a little bit of everything.

The Too Good to go bags are really excellent. The staff friendly and accommodating. They even gave me free nuts once. All in all I'm satisfied.

Generous amount of tasty food with exotic flavors. Nothing too spicy. The meats are all unique and very tasty. We had the Syrian sampler and the meat sampler. Good is ordered at the counter, then find a comfy seat and listen for your dish to be called out and bring it to your seat yourself. Settle in and enjoy too much food.

We were here for the first time. There is a wide variety of dishes. I decided on something vegetarian. It was a huge portion that I couldn't finish. It was so delicious!!! I definitely have to come back to try other dishes. My girlfriend had a meal with chicken, which was also delicious. I can only recommend!!!

Probably the best Syrian restaurant in Leipzig. Everything is always super fresh, super tasty. It's impressive how friendly and nice the operators are, even when it's stressful, there's a smile and a kind word. We also come from the southern suburbs to get our food here. Definitely thumbs up! 👍

If I could review every time I was there, every trip would score 10/10. Food is so freaking delicious (best arabic-Mediterranean food in leipzig in my opinion). Price is perfect for the portion, which should get you full, giving that I’m foodie person and eat a lot. Service is friendly, respectful and very quick! Waiting time max 10 min. And plus point for arab guests. The atmosphere inside is quite inviting and authentic l. It reminded me of my home country🥺. Ohh they have a lot of vegan/vegetarian options😊. Delicious Syrian cuisine. Fresh ingredients, strong marinade for the chicken, falafel on the next plate also good. Long story short: Tasteful, fresh and way too cheap.

Before the price increase, Maza Pita used to be a pretty good and popular Syrian dish. Today I had to explain to Kraft that I couldn't tolerate salad for allergic reasons, but after repeated requests he didn't respond. Unfortunately the quality and quantity has decreased. A few months ago I caught something in my intestines.

Ate here for the first time today on a Sunday in September. Deliciously prepared dishes (I come from a partly Syrian family), very well prepared. The shop/restaurant is pretty and stylish oriental and comfortable for all visitors (families, couples, friends,...). Even though there was a lot of activity, everything went quickly and friendly. Again and again, but maybe to enjoy it again on a Monday!😊

One of the best tellers I ever had! I loved everything about this place—the taste, nutrition etc. The staff were continually cleaning and ensuring everything was spotless. I definitely recommend it, and the prices are also favorable.

A simple self-service restaurant, inexpensive and good. The number of dishes is limited, the shwarme was a bit dry, the flatbreads weren't particularly fresh, but the starters were really lovely. The interior is air-conditioned, which is especially good when the kitchen is not running at full speed.

We had eaten it some time ago at the Christmas market in Werk 2 and were thrilled. We have also only heard positive things from friends and acquaintances. Now for the start of school we decided on something light and healthy. So the buffet was ordered, it was delivered and it was sensational, very tasty and much after everyone had eaten. It almost still looked like no one was there. So really good value for money, definitely top. Everything was perfect, even my picky brother was thrilled. Very clear recommendation.

Trabajo a la vuelta de la esquina de este pequeño restaurante y es un básico del barrio. Se pone muy ocupado a la hora del almuerzo, pero por suerte la cola va rápido. La comida se sirve rápidamente y ha sido consistente en calidad durante años. Mi idea es una pita kulte con un burek a un lado que pueda resistirse a ese dulce crujiente salado. Si tengo tiempo o tengo mucha hambre... cualquiera de los platos es bueno. Me encanta que sean sabrosas sin ser demasiado saladas (¡cuestión frecuente en alemán en general! ) y los ingredientes siempre estén frescos.

Super tasty and varied dishes at affordable prices. The preparation is very quick. There is a large selection of vegetarian and vegan food, but also many meat dishes. There is plenty of space to eat inside, but you can also take food away. Definitely a recommendation!

Good food, varied dishes with a wide variety of variations on the plate, good grilled meat, fair prices and a very nice atmosphere. What I don't understand is why the guys in front of you constantly only speak Arabic to each other even though they speak German. It's a shame that the meat is always only warmed up and the portion sizes decrease even though the restaurant seems to be a gold mine. Make sure you get a receipt (legally you shouldn't need to ask, unless you want to visit the tax office 😅).

Die gelbe Linsensuppe und auch der Falafel Teller waren hervorragend! Gern wieder und wenn man syrische Küche und ein derartiges Ambiente mag, ist es auf jeden Fall ein Besuch wert. Und es ist sehr für Veganer*innen geeignet.

Ich war heute zum ersten Mal hier. Ich hab vorher noch nie so gut gegessen. Das Essen war grandios. Auch das Ambiente war schön und gemütlich eingerichtet. Ich war so begeistert, dass ich morgen gleich nochmal vorbeischauen werde. Tolle Leute mit tollem Essen, was will man mehr.

Sehr leckeres Essen in lockerer Atmosphäre. Man darf kein Restaurantambiente erwarten aber es eignet sich trotzdem sehr zum sitzen und verweilen. Die Preise sind mehr als fair, die Mitarbeiter alle sehr nett und zuvorkommend und Extrawünsche kein Problem.
