Since I had a first aid course that was taking place next door at Martins Club, I happened upon the Palm Imbiss during the break. I ordered a small kebab box with chicken and fries with a garlic sauce, unfortunately the chicken skewer didn't appeal to me from the start, and the chicken meat was too dry and tasteless. Unfortunately, the gentleman who prepared the kebab box for me wasn't very friendly, but rather came across as annoyed.

The starters and main courses were delicious. Something different. The only thing that bothered us was the starters being cleared away before we were finished. Even when we said so, the waiter stayed in front of us until we were finished. It was annoying. We felt harassed. This shouldn't be happening. The waiter must see something like that.

Wir wollten das Iftar-Menü bestellen, das nur während des Ramadan nach Sonnenuntergang angeboten wird. Es wurde uns vom Kellner verweigert, da wir als Christen den Ramadan nicht leben und nicht Fasten würden. Wir mussten uns was anderes aussuchen. Wir haben uns geärgert, das wir aufgrund der Diskriminierung nicht gleich wieder gegangen sind. Man stelle sich vor was in den Medien los wäre, wenn einem Muslim in einem deutschen Restaurant das Weihnachts- oder Ostermenü verweigert würde. Die Vorspeisen waren gut, Hauptgerichte leider schon etwas kalt aber sonst gut. Dessert ok. Preis/Leistung noch ok.

Really delicious food, authentic ambience, fair prices and super friendly service. I got stranded here after my bike tour from Hamburg to Bremen and was even allowed to take my gravel bike into the shop because I didn't have a lock with me. Strengthened and, above all, warmed up again, I was able to stay here for a while and was given a fresh falafel to try as I said goodbye. One or two hipster punch shops can learn something from such a service! I would love to come back and recommend the store to my friends! 🙏🏽
