I was there today and was truly impressed. The food was not only delicious but also lovingly prepared. I would especially like to highlight the service: attentive, friendly, and truly warm! The food was delicious, but some of the portions were quite small and overpriced. My husband had a salmon, spinach, and pasta casserole, which was delicious but also very small, and all for 22.90! Phew! My rice dish was good and plentiful. The service was so-so. Menus were brought quickly, and drinks arrived quickly. But we're still waiting for bread today 😉 We were specifically asked if we wanted bread. We said yes, and the waitress went behind the counter...that was it. Also, we apparently didn't understand the concept of dessert. I explicitly said we wanted dessert, not the salsa. I thought I'd get dessert for 4.90, as stated on the menu. My mother didn't want dessert, but I ordered another one anyway because my husband was still so hungry. We were only brought three and told it was unfair, because someone else could have the dessert if my mother didn't eat it. We said, "But we'll pay for it anyway!" No, that would be a greeting from the kitchen! Hmm, okay, I didn't want it that way, and it wasn't properly explained beforehand! I found the lady very bitchy in her entire manner. Conclusion: the visit to the restaurant was okay, but nothing more.

The food is simply delicious and beautifully presented. A family atmosphere with young, friendly service staff.

We reserved a table outside and got our desired table. We were served promptly, and the food didn't take long to arrive. Both of our dishes were delicious. A small misunderstanding on our part regarding the bill was quickly and pleasantly resolved. We can fully recommend Afria and will be back.

Finally got a table. I've tried several times, but it never worked. But that's understandable. The ambiance is really lovely. It's not big, so it gets booked up very quickly, especially on weekends. We received a warm welcome and had a nice seat. The drinks we ordered arrived very promptly. The menu is varied, and there's really something for everyone, even for the little ones. The four dishes were brought out in a good time. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The salmon plate with spinach was really delicious; you could really taste the quality. This is reflected in the price, though. The quantity could have been larger. The first dish from the kitchen was a very tasty rice pudding, which didn't taste typical and was therefore a bit of a surprise. Due to the size of the room, it was unfortunately very loud in places, but it was still moderate. It was still a lovely evening and certainly not our last time there.

I visited the Afrin restaurant and was completely impressed. The atmosphere is very inviting and cozy; you immediately feel at home. The food was truly delicious; I had the falafel roll, which was super fresh and flavorful. The staff was also very friendly and attentive. Overall, a lovely evening with good value for money. I would gladly return.

We had breakfast today. It was world-class. I liked that they asked beforehand whether guests were vegetarian or vegan, and whether they preferred a savory or sweet topping. That way, they don't serve anything unnecessarily that ends up in the trash because it doesn't get eaten. We'll be happy to come back for breakfast. Keep it up!

The food was wonderfully fresh and delicious, the staff very friendly and attentive, and the restrooms were also very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening and will definitely return.

This was my first time ordering takeaway from Afrin. I was able to pick up my ordered food within 25 minutes. I had the Kibbeh Maa Labania, and the nice thing was that the rice was packaged separately from the rest of the dish. Despite being in the sauce, the kibbeh weren't soft or mushy, but rather had a nice, firm bite. It was truly delicious, and the portion size was perfect. The Afrin plate was also a great portion size. The two servers at the entrance were very friendly, and everything went smoothly when taking orders. Additional flatbread was also available upon request. I will definitely try more dishes there and can definitely recommend Afrin.

Wow. Just wow. I can't describe my experience with words. I'm just overwhelmed. No dish wasn't tasty, everything was perfectly prepared and seasoned. The service was more than just customer-oriented, you could say you became a friend of the house during your visit, at least that's how you were treated. Absolute recommendation, worth every visit!!!

Cozy little restaurant in Bremen-Lesum. There are both Syrian specialties and "classics" such as casseroles or pizza. We were also positively surprised by the selection of vegetarian/vegan dishes. In terms of price, the dishes may be a little above average, but they are also impressive in terms of taste. Another plus point: Afrin is included in the “City for two booklet”. We would definitely come back!

We went to Afrin for the second time within a month because it tasted so good the first time - the dishes were spectacularly 'exotic', delicious and seasoned in a variety of ways. We agreed with the good reviews published here. Today's visit was rather disappointing. The casserole with lamb: a few small pieces of meat, a few pieces of pepper and plenty of mushrooms (unfortunately unmissable from a can, so boring) were in a tomato sauce ((obviously also, a bit salty, canned product). So the whole thing was boring, dominantly salted and nothing else The rice and bread were good. The casserole was supposed to be topped with cheese, but it was a shame. Unlike our first visit, this time our Cityfor2 magazine was accepted, Because we had presented it “in good time” at the request of the house, i.e. right away! our order and not only when we asked for the bill, as was the case on our first visit (- When they were then unwilling to book out our dishes and re-book them with a city discount due to "time constraints"). Conclusion comparing both visits: Did we perhaps order the 'wrong' dish this time, i.e. a dish that was untypically seasoned and not very spicy?

On the second visit it was a Saturday, very crowded, therefore very, very loud in the restaurant, correspondingly one star less in terms of ambience. Always happy to go there...

Quite inconspicuous in a small house Is there Das Afrin a Syrian restaurant Where I went with a lot of prejudices I then chose 217 and was not disappointed in any way Drinks were optional, I had a delicious Ayran that I probably prepared myself I will go there again sometime. Great starters for two in 5 bowls with hummus three times, large white beans and Fallafel in yogurt/mint sauce. For the main course I had the #23 - lamb rump on a skewer with fried vegetables and rice with pomegranate. Very good. Gladly again.

We recently moved to Lesum and wanted to try out the restaurants nearby. We can really only recommend the Afrin restaurant, the food was extremely tasty (I've rarely had such good falafel), the employees were all super friendly and the restaurant itself made a neat and clean impression. We'll be back soon :)

02.2024 My wife was there for the first time with her group. The restaurant is bright, cozy and was very well attended. The food was excellent, the sauces were excellent and the service was friendly and customer-oriented. The only thing that was too low for the women was the room temperature! Nevertheless, it is highly recommended.

It was very cold as the door to the restaurant was open outside the whole time. The portions are very small and the prices are too expensive. The view into the kitchen is also not an advantage, it makes a restless impression and doesn't fit with the ambience.

Ich muss zugeben, kenne diesen Laden seit der Eröffnung. Ich hab mich damals so sehr eingesetzt und vielen Leuten von dem guten Essen erzählt. Dann kam der Hype, neuer Standort, mehrere Tische usw.. Alles gut. Aber ich kann mein Essen nun nicht mehr abholen.. Warum? Ich weiß es selbst nicht, es ist nie jemand gewollt an das Telefon zu gehen, egal wann 17 bis 20 Uhr. Erreichbarkeit ist nicht gut. Zudem kommt das die Küche selbst mit halbvollen Laden keine Abholung mehr anbietet weil sie wohl keine Kapazitäten haben. Der Laden öffnet um 17 Uhr, wenn man um 17:05 anruft wurde mir oft gesagt es sei nicht möglich, die Gäste würden wohl bald kommen. Von 30x anrufen konnte ich ca. 3x bestellen. Dabei spielt es keine Rolle welche Uhrzeit. Ich finde es einfach nur super ärgerlich...

Sehr lecker gegessen, der Service ist super freundlich und aufmerksam und der Hund durfte auch mit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Was soll ich sagen, könnte ich 6 Sterne geben, dann würde ich es tun. Das Essen war richtig klasse, die Vorspeise so lecker, dass ich mich beim nächsten Besuch wohl daran satt essen werde. Ein köstlicher, echter Mocca zum Abschluss und eine aufmerksame und freundliche Bedienung, da kann ich nur ein topp Empfehlen aussprechen!

Sehr gute Küche, wunderbare Atmosphäre, daher verstehe ich nicht warum man uns gegen 18.45 Uhr dringlichst aufforderte unser Essen zu bestellen, obwohl der Mitarbeiter wußte das wir noch auf eine Person warten!!!??? Als die Person dann um 19 Uhr ankam, sollte sie sofort bestellen - das erzeugte Streß und Sie bestellte NUR eine Vorspeise... Wir haben im Restaurant Afrin ein wirklich sehr erstklassiges Essen genossen von der leckeren Vorspeise bis zum tollen Hauptgericht, wir waren einfach begeistert und können es mit besten Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend gewesen. Das Restaurant strahlt eine sehr ruhige Atmosphäre aus.

Ein ganz ruhiges, unaufgeregtes Restaurant, eine Atmosphäre, wie ich sie schon in einigen syrischen Restaurants wohltuend erlebt habe. Freundlicher Service, der auch beratend zur Seite steht, und natürlich ein leckeres Essen runden den Besuch ab. Fazit: die feine syrische Küche ist ein besonderer Genuss. Das Restaurant ist relativ klein, stets gut besucht, eine Reservierung empfiehlt sich.

Ruhiges Restaurant mit gemütlicher Atmosphäre

Wir holen gerne etwas zu essen im Afrin, wenn wir die gesamte Familie in der Heimat haben, da es eines der wenigen Restaurants vor Ort ist, in denen man ohne Sonderwünsche vegane Gerichte bekommt. Bisher waren wir nie enttäuscht, nur zum Ambiente lässt sich wenig sagen außer "es sieht gemütlich aus, aber über den Empfangstresen war ich nie länger hier."
