We ordered the food to take away. For starters we had the wontons, they were perfect, there was little to complain about, the sauce was also good. The pasta with chicken to go in the box was standard. So tasty, but nothing that stands out from the noodles from other to-go boxes. But okay for the price and good in quantity. We also had sushi (salmon). It was delicious, but two pieces of fish no longer looked completely fresh, so we didn't eat them. Overall, 4 stars are justified here. To get full stars, the noodles to go would have to increase a bit.

I placed an order for 15 people over the weekend. Everything went on time, communication was problem-free, and I took the food home with me within Gonsenheim. It was still warm there and very freshly prepared! I was also given a dessert as a gift. Thank you for everything!

Very great restaurant. Great atmosphere and nice staff. The food is incredibly tasty and the price-performance ratio is also great. Given the large portion, I was even able to take some home with me. I can recommend it to everyone. Card payment is possible from a certain amount, I think around €30.

Buddhas is my favorite sushi restaurant in Mainz. I have been a regular customer for many years and the sushi is always fresh and delicious. The ratio of fish and rice here is much better than other sushi restaurants: lots of fillings and toppings and not too much rice. Exactly how it should be! :)

Unfortunately I got food poisoning from the sushi and had symptoms for days. Still nice restaurant and the rice with duck was very tasty and was a large portion.

Special ambience thanks to a different presentation of the food, unconventional Asian cuisine, very tasty! Highly recommended.

I was there for dinner with my family on December 1st, 2024 and had a voucher from the 2024 Schlemmerblock as a discount, which was not accepted on the grounds that there was already a new (2025) Schlemmerblock. My objection that the voucher was valid until December 1st, 2024 was not addressed, what a shame!
