We were totally thrilled and visited the Tio Pepe in Bonn twice in a very short space of time. The Spanish restaurant not only impresses with its extremely friendly staff, but also with culinary delicacies that are prepared with a lot of love and dedication and taste excellent. The furnishings are very nice and invite you to linger comfortably in the original Spanish ambience. For us, Tio Pepe in Bonn is the best Spanish restaurant in the city and is even one of the ten best restaurants in Bonn. We are already looking forward to our next visit. The food was quite good. We had the vegetarian platter where, for example, the mushrooms were very good, but the spinach was rather salty. The price was acceptable, the two of us had two tapas with the vegetarian platter. The staff was acceptably friendly, but there was no free tap water with other drinks. Overall a good visit, but not outstanding.

There were four drinks on the bill that we didn't consume. Since they didn't bring us the bill voluntarily, but only when we asked, and then immediately took the drinks off the bill without any discussion, I unfortunately assume that it was intentional. That's a shame! Otherwise the food was okay except for the tortilla. We had also taken salmon with rice and vegetables, but unfortunately the excellent container only had vegetables and no rice. In this respect, we can unfortunately only advise against the restaurant and will not go there again.

A very rustic building, but still cozy because the food is my main focus and not the surroundings. Food is delicious, paella was eaten for the first time for two people, simply delicious, would have been enough for three people. Aioli with lots of garlic, simply fantastic, service incredibly accommodating and friendly! Portions are very large and I can eat a lot! The dessert was also fantastic. Price performance great, service top and food recommended!

We had reserved a table and were sitting comfortably eating when we were suddenly told that we had to clear the table for other guests! Absolutely incredible! We refused, so we had to take our table directly to the door, which would have been totally uncomfortable. We didn't accept that, but the mood was still there!

Alles in allem sehr enttäuscht! Kenne das Restaurant von früher, da war das ein super Laden. Ist leider nichts mehr von übrig. Preise zu hoch für die Qualität der Speisen, Tisch wird abgeräumt obwohl man noch isst, kein neues Besteck oder Teller bei weiterer Bestellung, 1 Stunde kein Getränk.... nein Danke.
