An absolutely fantastic experience at Tio Pepe in Bonn! The authentic Spanish cuisine is simply delicious, especially the tapas are to die for. The service was super friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. You really feel like you're in Spain! The homemade sangria is particularly recommended. AVOID! My friend made a reservation for 15 people here for her birthday. Overall, things were going well until a friend got a plate of grilled shrimp she said were not good (like rotten) and she asked the waiter to change them, the waiter came back and said that the chef said they were okay, she said no they are not. The chef/manager came to the table and served the shrimps on her face and said “they are okay, AND YOU ARE GONNA EAT THEM!”. My partner also got a big curly hair inside his tortilla and notified the waiter, he didn’t receive not even a sorry. He later notified the chef and this tortilla wasn’t charged after reminding it was not good. A friend baked a cake and we intended to have it at the restaurant, but the manager picked up all the plates and cutlery as soon as he realized we would have the cake after the food. We later kindly asked for plates again and the manager said he would not serve us anymore, not the plates, not the cutlery, not more drinks or food, he wanted us out. The manager then just stared at us for 10 minutes with a serious face expecting us to pay and leave. We felt absolutely horrible, how can someone ruin a birthday and treat their customers like a nuance? The rest of the food was barely okay, nothing like the Spanish original style. The experience we had is enough for all of us to never come back to this place again. They don’t deserve the people’s money. I’m still mind blown. If a customer kindly tells you that a shrimp is bitter and not good, the last thing you should do is serve it again and DEMAND them to eat it 🤯

Wir gehen öfter ins Tio Pepe, weil man draußen sehr schön sitzt und weil die Tapas lecker sind. Leider wurden wir bei unserem letzten Besuch sehr enttäuscht- der Service, besonders die weibliche Bedienung, war sehr unfreundlich und überhaupt nicht herzlich oder entgegenkommend. So schnell werden wir nicht wieder zu Tio Pepe gehen!

Open your eyes, right in the middle of our beautiful Bonn Brüdergasse, there is the best Spaniard. Soooo delicious tapas, great wine and great service. Thank you for the wonderful time.

Popped in for a drink, ended up 8 people having a fabulous meal, which was fabulous. We shared 12 tapas between us, with bread olives (which were superb). Very friendly staff. Highly recommended by all of us.

The food was extremely authentic if you know Spanish cuisine and love Mediterranean food. A variety of small delicacies ensure a special taste experience. The ambience is of course good average in terms of construction and environment.

Yesterday we were guests there with 9 people and it was just great. The service is special because it is very multicultural and that is what makes it so charming. I had dinner at this restaurant, and ordered a combination of various Tapas plates. The food was great, I liked it very much. Specially, fried Calamari. Besides, the cocktails were very well-made and exactly as I was expecting. The staff were also very nice and friendly, which in general made my time there very enjoyable.

Desaconselhável. Fui com uma colega de trabalho, também estrangeira. Pedimos algumas tapas, conforme anunciado pela casa. Não são ruins, mas jamais poderiam ter uma avaliação boa. Problema. Mau atendimento. Um garçon (espanhol) fazendo o possível para ser agradável, mas um outro, aparentemente o dono ou gerente, desde a nossa chegada, com mau humor e falta de atenção. Mas o problema foi mesmo ao pedir a conta e pagar. Novamente, toda a atenção do garçom, até que entra em cena o “dono”. Grosseiro, começa por não aceitar nenhum cartão, DÉBITO em moeda local, Euros, ou crédito. Somente cash. Isso, quase aos gritos. Como éramos duas pessoas, pedimos então a conta dividida em duas partes, com pagamento em dinheiro. Novamente, negativo. Para dividir a conta é necessário avisar ao chegar. Ou seja, a casa deveria ter avisos de que não aceita cartões e que contas repartidas devem ser avisadas antes de sermos servidos. Para finalizar, fomos destratados, pagamos em dinheiro e saímos com uma só conta. Isso após calorosa discussão e quase vias de fato. Em tempo: o dono ou algo parecido é imigrante, sem interessar de onde. Aviso: se não quiserem estragar a sua noite, não optem pelo “Tio Pepe”. Há muitos restaurantes vizinhos, mas infelizmente caímos nesse. Quase agredidos fisicamente.

Absolut nicht zu empfehlen! Waren mit 4 Pers.am Sa.um 18 Uhr vor Ort. Zunächst durften wir 15min.warten, das Restaurant war voll (verständlich am Wochenende bei sonnigem Wetter). Während dessen wurden jedoch weitere Gäste (die nach uns erschienen) alle zuvor an Tische gesetzt (ohne Reservierung). Nachdem ich sachlich unseren Unmut vortrug, wurden wir beleidigt und unfreundlich des Hauses verwiesen (Mann mit Glatze, ca.50 Jahre, vermutlich Chef)! Scheinbar hat dieses Restaurant keine gut zahlenden Gäste nötig!Unfassbar, beschämend, nie wieder! 1 Stern ist deutlich zu viel!

Absolutely not recommended! Were there with 4 people on Saturday at 6 p.m. First we had to wait 15 minutes, the restaurant was full (understandable on the weekend in sunny weather). Meanwhile, other guests (who arrived after us) were all seated at tables beforehand. After I objectively expressed our displeasure, we were insulted and rudely expelled from the house (bald man, around 50 years old, probably boss)! Apparently this restaurant doesn't need well-paying guests! Unbelievable, shameful, never again! 1 star is clearly too much!

We were there spontaneously on a Saturday evening and asked for a table. After a short wait we actually got another one. From the outside the store looks very inconspicuous. Totally cozy and beautifully furnished inside. The food and drinks are a delight. Everything perfectly seasoned. The bread was fresh and the olives were also a taste experience. The service was very friendly and not intrusive, which we found very pleasant. We'd love to come back. Thank you for the lovely evening.

For the first time and definitely not the last time in this great restaurant. Service excellent. Pleasant atmosphere. Beautifully furnished, modern furniture that gives a fitting Mediterranean impression. San Miguel on tap!!

Meat skewers are good, small lamb chops are outstanding. Albondigas perfect. Actually all of the tapas were convincing. Service was almost consistently top, with one glaring exception. Without being asked and without any context, we were informed several times about the “FRG dictatorship”. Maybe it's better to just leave private conspiracy theories at home and everything will be fine.

The agreed reservation was not kept. Instead we were asked to wait until our table became available. The group that previously sat down at our table (despite the “reserved” sign) was “gently” asked to “release” the table promptly. Unfortunately, the above group of people didn't care. The table was therefore still occupied and the above-mentioned group of people continued to be served while sitting at our table. After about 15 minutes of waiting, the "head waiter" on duty then graciously deigned to offer us a - comparatively small - replacement table, which luckily just became free;...until the above-mentioned "group of people" reached our table would “give free”. However, the above-mentioned "group of people" continued to be served benevolently at our table, while we (5 people) continued to have to sit at the "substitute table" - some of them sitting in the middle of the aisle. When asked whether one drink per person would be on the house, since we would obviously no longer have the opportunity to sit at the table we had originally reserved that evening, the waiter reprimanded: "If you ask for something, you won't get anything. " Conclusion: You can't feel comfortable in a restaurant where waiters think they are allowed to "educate" their above-average patient/benevolent customers. In addition: There was no corresponding apology from the restaurant regarding the unsuccessful reservation. Instead, questions arise regarding the lack of assertiveness of the “service management”. The service management was clearly unable to assert itself against the above-mentioned group of people occupying our tables. Weak. This Spaniard is definitely not recommended. (The food is also just average in terms of value for money). In short: Failed: Ciao Pepe ciao.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe zur Weihnachtsfeier im Restaurant. Es gab verschiedene Tapas welche nacheinander aufgetischt wurden. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen ausreichend groß. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Auf Getränke mussten wir nie lange warten. Dies war mein erster Besuch in diesem Restaurant. Aber sicherlich nicht mein letzter. Klare Empfehlung!

Super leckere Tapas. Sehr freundlicher Servive. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet. Immer frisch und hält seit Jahren die Qualität hoch. Die besten Tapas weit und breit. Aioli und die Oliven habe ich nirgendwo leckerer gegessen. Auch die Gambas und Oktopus sind sehr zu empfehlen. Isst man Fleisch, ist es butterweich. Sehr lecker und wunderschönes Ambiente.

Sehr gutes spanisches Restaurant Waren mit 12 Personen dort und alle waren zufrieden. Liegt mitten in der Bonner Fußgängerzone. Sehr gutes Ambiente toll eingerichtet. Etwas hochpreisig aber dafür gute Kundschaft.

Leider Abzocke. Wir waren mit 7 Personen zum ersten Mal in diesem Restaurant. Wir bestellten neben diversen Tapas zur Vorspeise Brot mit Ölivenöl (das nichtaufderKarte stand). Die Tapas waren soweit gut, aber nichts Besonderes. Beim Bezahlen kam dann die große Überraschung. Für ein paar Scheiben Brot mit ein paar Esslöffel Öliivenöl wurden uns 9,20 € in Rechnung gestellt. Wir hatten insgesamt 3 x Öliivenöl bestellt. Somit wurde aus einer einfachen Vorspeise eine völlig überzogene Angelegenheit. Auf Nachfrage, weshalb das Öliivenöl so teuer berechnet wurde, erhielten wir die Antwort, dass 1 Liter Öl im Einkauf 33 Euro kostet. Wir können daher dieses Restaurant nicht weiterempfehlen.

Unsere Bedienung war wirklich freundlich und aufmerksam (Bedienung 6 😉). Alles war super frisch und mega lecker. Wir hatten einen wirklich schönen Abend (an Tisch 5 😊) und bedanken uns ganz herzlich. Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, die Tapas waren lecker und kamen schnell an und der Nachtisch (Creme Catalana) hat auch richtig gut geschmeckt. Allein die Musik war etwas zu laut für Unterhaltungen in normaler Lautstärke.

Unverständliche Reaktion auf unmögliche Wartezeiten!!!! Nachdem meine Frau eine halbe Stunde auf Ihr Essen gewartet hat, ( meins stand so lange schon auf dem Tisch )welches offensichtlich vergessen wurde, habe ich mein mittlerweile angefangenes und kalt gewordenes Essen zurückgegeben. Als dann das Gericht meiner Frau auch endlich fertig war, wurde es dann mit meinem aufgewärmten Essen serviert. Unglücklich bei Lammkoteletts die nicht besser werden nach zweimaligem braten. Die Aussage des Inhabers, er habe ja seine Pflicht getan war für mich als selbständiger Dienstleister mehr als befremdlich. Brauchen wir dann nicht nochmal!!!!P.S. Die Bedienung war nett, aber überfordert.

The owner is extremely rude and hostile. Our friend had his Vitamin-C medicine mix on the table to drink after the dinner - even though we all ordered food, soft drinks and alcohol the owner insisted that we remove the drink from the table. After arguing with us for ten minutes, we decided to leave the place and cancelled all orders. Very weird owner that doesn’t care about customer satisfaction or has no idea of communications. Never again!

Best Tapas in Bonn! The white Rioja House wine is also very good. I especially recommend the seafood Tapas such as Calamari, Mussels and Squid as well as the Jamón and marinated olives.

Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Kenne viele „Spanier“ rings um Bonn. Preise etwas darüber, aber hohe Qualität. Alle üblichen Gerichte die es auch woanders gibt, sind hier ein Ticken besser. Tolles Restaurant mit leckerem Essen, mitten in der Innenstadt. Ich komme immer wieder gerne hier hin.

Das Tio Pepe hat absolut 5 Sterne verdient! Es stimmt einfach alles hier in dem Lokal. Sowohl das Essen als auch die Qualität sind top. Die Atmosphäre war richtig schön, obwohl es brechend voll war auf der Terrasse, hatte man seine "Ruhe". So stellt man sich einen Besuch beim Spanier vor. Die Auswahl der Speisekarte ist vollkommen ausreichend und jeder kommt auf seine Kosten. Was ich jedem Fleischliebhaber empfehlen kann sind die Steaks! Immer ein Genuss! Auch der Service war jedesmal zuvorkommend, freundlich und aufmerksam. Das es mal zu Wartezeiten kommen kann, wenn so so voll ist, ist total legitim und absolut verständlich. Also wenn Spanier in Bonn dann, auf jedefall ins Tio Pepe 🤗 Freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal!

Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Die Getränke kamen sehr zügig und das Essen auch. Das Essen war in Ordnung, aber ich hatte schon bessere Tapas... Das Brot mit dem Aufstrich war köstlich, der Rest aber etwas fad und trocken.

Keine der Tappas hat in irgendeiner Form eine Geschmacksexplosion ausgelöst. Absoluter Standard - wirklich nichts besonderes. Klassich Convenience Food. Wir mussten uns auch oft bemerkbar machen, um Getränke zu bekommen. Sonderlich Aufmerksam war die Kellnerin nicht. Die zwei Sterne kommen, ob dem Flair in der Stadt draußen zu sitzen, zusammen. Rein vom Essen her, wären es nur ein Stern.

It is well known Spanish restaurant in Bonn. We come here every time we are in Bonn. They have very tasty, nicely cooked and served food. Portions are big enough. We took a tapas to share. Absolutely must try are pimientos de padron and octopus la plancha. The staff is very kind. By the way, I’m posting a picture of shot they have kindly offered us. Really nice place to be. p.s. We have realized on the next day, that we were ripped off. We have paid 60 euros per person for the tapas. when we counted, we realized that the prices on the menu did not match what we paid. We've been sliced off. Be mindful.

Gemütliches Tapas-Restaurant an der St. Remigius Kirche. Der Besuch bei "Tio Pepe" war ein wirklich gemütlicher und kulinarischer Abend mit mehreren Leuten. Da das Prinzip auf Tapas ausgelegt ist, empfiehlt es sich mit mehreren Leute essen zu gehen und es sich dann auch preistechnisch lohnt. Das Essen war authentisch genug und lecker. Die Bedienung war zwar etwas gestresst da es an einem Samstag gut voll werden kann, aber war äußerst freundlich und hat uns aufs Haus eine Runde katalanischen Schnaps spendiert. Das Ambiente ist ganz nett, besonders draußen und gerade wenn es Sommer wird eine große Empfehlung, da man direkt auf die schöne Kirche neben an schauen kann.

Personal mega freundlich und lustig. Tapas wie in Spanien und die Getränke der Hammer. Wir waren echt begeistert von dem schönen Abend!

Wir wurden von Freunden mitgenommen und so hat es sich auch angefühlt ... unter Freunden! In einem schönen Ambiente, bei aufmerksamem und freundlichem Service haben wir ganz wunderbar gespeist. Das Essen und die Getränke sind preislich angemessen und entsprechen der gebotenen Qualität. Es wurde alles getan, dass wir uns als Gäste angenommen und wertgeschätzt gefühlt haben. Die Karte bietet für jeden Geschmack ausreichende Auswahl, die Getränke sind ebenfalls mannigfaltig und der Service stimmt. Hier werden wir nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein und freuen uns schon auf die nächsten Gaumenfreuden in diesem tollen und empfehlenswerten Restaurant!

Sehr nettes Tapas-Restaurant direkt in der Innenstadt. Alle Gerichte waren durchweg lecker (vor allem der Pulpo). Der Service war zuvorkommend, schnell und aufmerksam. Habe absolut nichts auszusetzen. Würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Fleischesser haben hier natürlich die größte Auswahl. Das beste von allem waren die Churros mit warmer Nutella. Preise & Portionsgrößen: Teuer - kleine Portionen, vor allem fleischlose Tapas. Portionsgrößen der begleitenden Fleischesser sind definitiv größer. Die Terrakottaschälchen sind nett anzuschauen, aber halt mini. Da passt nicht viel drauf/rein. Hochpreisig ist es dort sicherlich auch wegen der zentralen Lage mitten in der Bonner Innenstadt. Trotzdem finde ich es nicht ausgeglichen & richtig sattgegessen habe ich mich deswegen auch nicht. Ambiente: Fand ich nicht soooo toll - Simpel & unspektakulär/langweilig. Bleibt nicht als etwas "Besonderes" in Erinnerung. Bestuhlung mega unbequem, lädt nicht sonderlich zum langen Verweilen ein. Lage: Sehr gut mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen. Dafür aber sehr schlecht mit dem Auto - da mitten in der Stadt, sind Parkplätze rar & fast unmöglich zu bekommen.
