8'24 Again extremely satisfied today...super nice service, great food. The sea pike is highly recommended. '22 The Indian family that runs this Spanish style restaurant does an excellent job. The atmosphere is pretty authentic Spanish, the food tastes great and the staff is relaxed and friendly.

Nice tapas restaurant in the old town with very friendly service. The food is solid. However, you often have to wait a little longer for your food. The tables outside are right on the street, but it's still cozy.

The food had nothing to do with Spanish tradition. The tortilla was overcooked and bland, while the San Telmo potatoes seemed boiled rather than roasted and were decidedly raw. It tasted like hospital food. The service was a little slow and we were not allowed to pay separately.

I went to dinner with friends for my birthday. The tapas are super delicious and the sangria too ;). Price-wise, completely okay. We had a great evening and would love to come back.

Eine absolute Katastrophe. Wir haben mehrere Tapas bestellt, welche noch teilweise roh, kalt, aber auch nach abgestanden geschmeckt haben. Anstatt einem leckeren Serrano Schinken bekamen wir den für drei Euro vom Aldi Regal. Zumindest hat es danach geschmeckt. Ein Fleischgrillteller für zwei Personen wird ohne vernünftige Messer serviert und mit kaltem Fleisch, das geht absolut gar nicht. Die Sangria hatte eine Überdosis an Martini. Leider waren wir sehr enttäuscht und gut bedient wurden wir leider auch nicht zumal die Kellnerinnen und Kellner auch kein Deutsch sprachen.

Unfortunately, the food and service have become much worse compared to last year. Everything was pretty chaotic because the majority of the employees don't speak German. The food was too salty and not really good. A bit annoying, especially since the prices have risen significantly. Wine and coffee were good. :-)

The food is quite tasty, but the bread (baked goods) is very economical. Some tapas (e.g. nachos) are not good value for money. The tortillas and the aioli (despite not enough bread) are recommended!

It was a wonderful experience dining here. The shrimp in garlic butter was cooked well. The aioli was yum.

Tried it again after years, but apparently had bad luck. The one gentleman in service was completely out of place. No greeting of the guests, "write down the numbers of the dishes here" and then he didn't come back... then the food finally comes and we just put it on the table and we were then able to sort out who ordered what. Unfortunately, the food wasn't that much...really little for the prices...all mini portions where you could count out the patatas. Simply take half of the sheep's cheese out of the pack, cut it open, add a spoonful of hot sauce on it and you're done, not warmed up, nothing at all and way too expensive for that. In the end I went home hungry, even though I had patatas braves, fish soup, sheep's cheese and bacon-wrapped dates... 2 shandies and just under 30 euros spent.

I went here with my family in Bonn to spend my son's birthday and we chose the San Telmo and I am more than thrilled. The food, the service and the ambience were just great. I would recommend it to everyone. We will be back definitely

The San Telmo restaurant in Bonn is a real treat for lovers of Spanish cuisine. From the moment I walked in the door I felt like I was in a little piece of Spain. The rustic atmosphere, combined with the warm hospitality of the staff, immediately put me in a holiday mood. The menu is a tribute to the diverse and delicious Spanish cuisine. From traditional tapas to sophisticated main courses, there is something to suit every taste. The quality of the ingredients is outstanding and every dish is prepared with attention to detail. I was particularly impressed by the selection of tapas, which were a real taste explosion. Every little delicacy was perfectly seasoned and demonstrated the chefs' craftsmanship. The selection of wines from different regions of Spain also rounded off the culinary experience. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the paella dish, served in a traditional pan. The aromas were simply sensational and transported me mentally to the coast of Spain. Overall, my visit to San Telmo Restaurant was an unforgettable culinary experience. I can recommend it to anyone who appreciates authentic Spanish cuisine and wants to experience a piece of Spain in Bonn.

Amazing place and a hidden gem in Bonn. It's interesting that it's not more crowded every day but I like that. Great food which plays with your taste buds the right way. A polite environment that complements the service with a smile. Must have is the simple yet adventurous aioli.

Hier kann man gut mit großen Gruppen hingehen und Tapas bestellen, die sind alle mega lecker und es ist für jeden was dabei. Wenn man mehrere Runden bestellt wird es natürlich etwas teuer aber für das was man bekommt angemessen. Gehe hier immer gern hin

Das Dan Telmo ist fantastisch! Wenn du nach einer großartigen spanischen Küche suchst, dann bist du hier genau richtig! Das Essen ist köstlich und die Bedienung ist einfach fantastisch. Die Tapas sind zum Niederknien. Das Personal ist so freundlich und aufmerksam, dass du dich wie zu Hause fühlst. Und vergiss nicht, einen Aioli zu probieren - er ist erfrischend und perfekt abgestimmt. San Telmo, du hast unser Herz erobert - wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Ich war über die Nähe zur spanischen Küche sehr überrascht, da an diesem Tag keine Spanier zugegen waren. Es hat aber geschmeckt, als wären welche da!!! Ordentlich "Wums" mit Knobi, deftig, super lecker! Danke

Wir waren früher oft und gern im San Telmo. Wir kommen nicht wieder. Der spanische Landwein war von bescheidener Qualität. Die gebratenen Sardinen knochentrocken, der Salat mit Tomatensauce. Die Tapas bravas waren nicht als solche zu erkennen. Der Laden war leer. Kein Wunder.

Dinner here - of tapas, starters, generous pepper fillet steak, speciality of the day Argentinian beef fillet main courses and desserts - is truly outstanding. The flavours of every single item shone distinctly, including the simple but freshly baked bread and fresh (I am almost certain) alioli. The gambas in garlic sauce were stunning, the fish soup packed with seafood like the best cataplana, pimientos de Padron large and juicy, the steak seared and seasoned to perfection, and the lava cake finished it all off with the same sense of joie de vivre that came throughout the meal. Very highly recommended, and worth every cent.

Ganz nettes Lokal, für mich ist ein weiterer Besuch keine Option. Unter spanischen Gerichten verstehe ich etwas anderes. Auch die Servietten Gerichte waren lieblos auf Platten überreicht, kalt und es gab keine eigenen Teller dazu. Ein absolutes no go.

We arrived at the restaurant for dinner and placed our order, expecting quick service since we were the only ones there. However, after waiting for 2 hours, people who arrived after us were served and left, while we were still waiting. To make matters worse, when our order finally arrived, it was incorrect, despite repeatedly informing multiple staff members of the dish we wanted. It took another 30 minutes for them to bring the correct order, and during this time, the staff seemed more interested in gossiping than attending to our needs. One of my friends even lost their appetite after waiting for 2.5 hours while being extremely hungry. I would never go back to that restaurant and cannot recommend it to anyone else.

Ich hatte kürzlich das Vergnügen, das Restaurant San Telmo zu besuchen und wurde von einem besonders charmanten Kellner mit wunderschönen Locken bedient. Das Ambiente des Ladens war warm und einladend, und der Kellner trug dazu bei, dass sich jeder Gast sofort wohl fühlte. Von Anfang an beeindruckte mich der Service des Kellners. Er war aufmerksam, höflich und hatte immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen. Seine freundliche Art und seine lockeren Locken verliehen dem Erlebnis eine besondere Note. Die Speisekarte bot eine große Auswahl an köstlichen Gerichten, und der Kellner beriet mich professionell bei meiner Entscheidung. Er war gut informiert über die Zutaten und Zubereitungsmethoden und konnte meine Fragen mit Leichtigkeit beantworten. Der Kellner servierte mein Essen mit einer bemerkenswerten Eleganz und Präzision. Er behielt immer den Überblick über alle Tische und sorgte dafür, dass jeder Gast zufrieden war. Seine lockigen Haare fügten eine gewisse Leichtigkeit und Fröhlichkeit zu der ohnehin angenehmen Atmosphäre hinzu. Was den Geschmack des Essens betrifft, wurde ich nicht enttäuscht. Die Gerichte waren wunderbar zubereitet und präsentiert. Jeder Bissen war eine Freude für meine Geschmacksknospen. Alles in allem kann ich das Restaurant San Telmo und insbesondere den Kellner mit den hinreißenden Locken nur wärmstens empfehlen. Das Ambiente, der Service und das fantastische Essen machen dieses Lokal zu einem wahren Juwel. Egal, ob Sie einen besonderen Anlass feiern oder einfach nur einen angenehmen Abend verbringen möchten, hier sind Sie in den besten Händen! Vielen Dank an den Kellner mit den Locken für seine herausragende Gastfreundschaft und sein Engagement, um unseren Besuch unvergesslich zu machen. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Sorry, aber das war nicht das San Telmo, das wir aus der Vergangenheit kannten! Der Service war unterirdisch, 30 Minuten gewartet bis man Getränke bestellen konnte, anschließend lange vor leeren Gläsern gesessen, Nachbestellungen wurden er gar nicht geliefert....wo ist das alte und bewährte Service-Team? Essen war O.K. - da will ich nicht meckern!
