We come from Bochum and are currently spending a weekend in Recklinghausen. All we can say is it doesn't get any better.

We celebrated our wedding at the Parkhotel Engelsburg – and what can we say: it was simply perfect! From the first conversation to the last drink in the evening, everything was just right. The food was first class, the service was attentive and warm, and the location itself is a real gem with a lot of charm. The organization also ran absolutely smoothly - we didn't have to worry about anything and were able to enjoy our day to the fullest. Many thanks to the entire team – you made our wedding unforgettable!

Quality is currently very good and card payments are also possible.

We went to the Elektro Museum on Sunday with two families and had dinner here on the way back with 8 of us. We thought it was great. The owners are simply TOP. Very family friendly. Definitely worth a recommendation.

Pizza 🍕 this lunchtime was very tasty, if mom wants pizza, then only eat it at Basti's, said the best one in all of Recklinghausen. Unfortunately, we received the wrong food (particularly unfortunate if you eat a vegetarian diet). When asked by phone, no insight from the owner. We were then allowed to come back to exchange the wrong food and pay an extra charge...impossible. No apology, no compensation. Just an explanation that the card on the internet is not correct and must be from the previous owner. The last time for us. Unfortunately, the food was also bland and not worth the money.
