My husband and I got married nearby and were looking for a chic hotel to stay the night. We slept in the tower suite for 2 nights and thought it was great! A completely different room and very suitable for special occasions. Some of our guests also spent the night there and on the eve of the wedding we sat at the bar in a large group, it was fantastic. Price-performance is top!

I stayed in this fantastic hotel with my husband for 2 days. Stylish rooms, super nice staff in all areas, great breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant was a culinary delight. Thank you for this experience.

The Parkhotel Engelsburg in Recklinghausen is a true gem among the region's hotels and far exceeded my expectations. From the start I was impressed by the warm atmosphere and the excellent service from the staff. The hotel impresses not only with its idyllic location - the back in the countryside - the front in the picturesque old town, but also with its historical ambience, which impresses with a successful combination of traditional charm and modern comfort. The lovingly restored rooms and stylish furnishings create an inviting and relaxed atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. My room was spacious, tastefully decorated and offered a fantastic view of the hotel's own park. The beds were extremely comfortable and I slept wonderfully every night. The bathroom also left nothing to be desired and was equipped with high-quality care products. The gastronomic offerings at the Parkhotel Engelsburg are simply outstanding. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired and offered a wide selection of fresh and high-quality dishes. Dinner in the hotel's restaurant was also a culinary highlight, where we were impressed by the first-class quality of the food and the attentive service from the staff. I would also like to particularly emphasize the professional and friendly service provided by the entire hotel team. Every single employee always tried to make my stay as pleasant as possible and responded to our individual wishes and needs. Overall, I can fully recommend the Parkhotel Engelsburg in Recklinghausen and am already looking forward to my next visit. Hospitality is very important here and every stay is an unforgettable experience. The only (small) downer is the comparatively expensive 70ct / kWh at the hotel's own charging stations.

Centrally located in Recklinghausen in a historic building. Modern and lovingly furnished. Extremely friendly and courteous staff.

The mattresses and pillows have latex/plastic protective covers underneath the white linen covers. It's like sleeping on an air mattress, horrible. I have never experienced anything like this in a hotel and is not worthy of a 4 star hotel. Reported the next morning, apparently they can remove these for you if you specify this on your reservation.

I was in Castel Sant'Angelo on business and can only recommend this hotel. Everything is very lovingly and individually designed and the employees are super friendly and accommodating. I'll definitely come again 😉

We spent a wonderful weekend with friends at the Parkhotel Engelsburg with food in the Engels restaurant in the castle. Super friendly service from reception to restaurant and subsequent bar visit to breakfast tomorrow. Tastefully renovated rooms, classic meets modern, comfortable beds (we slept soundly), super delicious menu in the restaurant, great wine selection, final nightcap at the hotel bar (and at 2 a.m.... where else is that possible??) and a rich breakfast with everything your heart desires. We are all thrilled and will definitely come back.

It's been a long time since I've experienced a 4 star hotel with such a high level of comfort as here. Requests are taken into account and the employees on site are very attentive. Thank you for this lovely stay!

Sehr freundliches Personal, vom Empfang bis zum Restaurant…alle wirklich außergewöhnlich nett! Speisen im Restaurant hatten bei uns Sterne-Qualität. Im Zimmer fehlte es an nichts, Platz war reichlich, Ausstattung sehr geschmackvoll. Lage fußläufig in die überraschend nette Innenstadt. Wir hatten nichts zu meckern!

Ich bin jedes mal wieder von der zuvorkommend und freundlichen Art des Gesamten Teams begeistert. Ich bin Beruflich häufig Gast in Hotels, freue mich aber immer wieder auf die Engelsburg da ich die persönliche Ansprache sehr zu schätzen weiß. Bei Wünschen treffe ich immer auf offene Ohren.

Sehr schönes Hotel und eine Mischung aus klassischen Elementen und schönem modernen Design. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Zimmer renoviert und das Bett sehr gut. Die Lage ist optimal, fußläufig zur Innen- und Altstadt. Abzüge gibt es für den nicht so schön gestalteten Saunabereich. Zudem noch extra Geld für die Sauna zu nehmen, finde ich für ein 4 Sterne Hotel sehr befremdlich. Preis mit 150,-€ für ein EZ ohne Frühstück schon sehr hoch. Perfekt Wie waren letztes Jahr zu Recklinghausen leuchtet und mogwai da . Einfach rund um perfekt . Dieses Jahr aufgrund von anderer Urlaubs Planung abgesagt .Nächstes Jahr wieder da ....es ist so souverän und toll dort , ich kann es nicht in Worte fassen .Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team . Wir waren als Familie auf der Suche nach einem schönen Hotel in der Nähe des Movie Parks und sind sehr glücklich, dass wir uns für das Parkhotel Engelsburg entschieden haben. - Schönes, ansprechendes Ambiente - Gehobenes Hotel und trotzdem gemütlich - Sehr geräumiges, sauberes und geschmackvoll gestaltetes Zimmer - Gemütliche Betten - Sehr nettes und kompetentes Personal - Unkomplizierte Buchung - Gute Lage, sehr zentral - Vielseitiges Frühstück - Familienfreundlich - Unsere 2 kleinen Hunde waren auch willkommen Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder buchen.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal in der Engelsburg. Die Zimmer sind angenehm und gut ausgestattet. Mir fehlte allerdings am Bett eine Steckdose, um über Nacht Smartphone und Uhr aufladen zu können. Die Mitarbeiter sind nett und zuvorkommend. Allerdings hätte ich in der Bar gerne noch ein zweites Glas Wein getrunken, was allerdings mangels Personal nicht möglich war.

gepflegtes Hotel mit sehr ansprechendem Ambiente, Komfort, tollem Service und nettem Personal. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und schmackhaft. Als Kaffeesüchtiger hat mir der Kaffeevollautomat besonders gut gefallen ;-). Die Bar ist sehr gemütlich, leider hatte das Restaurant Ruhetag. Somit kann ich die Qualität der Speisen nicht beurteilen. Die Speisekarte war aber sehr ansprechend. Preis-Leistung stimmt auf jeden Fall !

Es gab nur ne Kleinigkeit die ich an der Rezeption sofort klären konnte. Sonst in allem war ich sehr zufrieden. Besonders Loben möchte ich das freundliche Personal. Sie halfen wo sie nur konnten und selbst beiläufig im Gang wurde man gegrüßt. Ich fühlte mich sehr willkommen. Klasse auch das die Bar 24/7 geöffnet hat. Paar Bier um halb vier morgens wurden schnell und freundlich an den Tisch gebracht. Ich würde definitiv wiederkommen.

Sehr schönes Hotel in Recklinghausen. Alles war unerwartet positiv. Das Gebäude, dein Eingangsbereich, die Willkommenskultur sind besonders. Dann habe ich das Zimmer gesehen und waren auch noch schön und lecker Essen im Restaurant. Eine ENGELSBURG die man nicht erwartet hat. Wir waren geschäftlich unterwegs, aber das war ein Abend und eine Nacht wie im Urlaub. Danke an das Team.

Die „Engel“ der Burg sind im Umkreis von 100 Kilometern unschlagbar. Die Geschäftsführerin hat Augen und Ohren offen, es entgeht ihr nichts. Das Original „Hermann „ gehört zum Inventar. Die Rezeption und Bar bedient er, wie kein anderer!!! Preise/Leistung nicht zu topen.

Wir hatten am letzten Grillabend der Saison mit dem Thema Griechenland einen wirklich schönen Abend und kommen gerne wieder. Danke an das komplette Team

Schnelles und einfaches Check-in. Ruhige und gemütliche Zimmer, charmantes Gebäude mit Geschichte und die Lage zur Altstadt Recklinghausen ist unschlagbar. Sehr gutes Frühstück; absolut empfehlenswert
