Very friendly staff, great atmosphere. We ate duck just in time for Christmas, it was excellent - we would happily do it again.

Today we were invited to the Blüche Eiche for a birthday dinner. Unfortunately things went suboptimally today. First impression after 5 minutes of waiting until we were assigned the reserved table was fine. The table apparently wasn't cleaned after the last guests 😒 after 1 1/4 hours the ordered food arrived. Partially burnt fried potatoes, but not well-fried fries, steak and liver were well-done, the pollack fillet died twice. Chicken breast fillet wrapped in bacon cannot be identified as chicken breast. Overall the food was not satisfactory. The service staff without a smile on their face, no friendly greeting or farewell is actually something I know differently from the catering industry. When it came to eating it was just “I’ll give it to the kitchen continue ". There will be no further visit from us to the flowering oak. I had to queue for 30 minutes to eat and the preparation also took 10 minutes. For me it was a point where perhaps more people could work. The food itself was good.
