Sorry, but unfortunately only 3 stars because of the quality of the food. Wasn't really good. I thought the ambience, the service was great. Of course it's not primarily a restaurant, but there's still a lot of room for improvement since you're not paying very much either. I think it's great that you're doing this. Local beer is also offered. Top. And as I said, super friendly service. I would still come back.

Through old streets and along old walls, you immediately feel like you have been transported back to the past After a long walk and with a growling stomach and a dry throat, you come across the Deichgräf along the banks of the Rhine. A rustic restaurant invites you to have a cozy and delicious lunch a cold beer with a view of the Rhine and the shipping. The menu has something for small and large appetites, from delicious pancakes to fish soup to fish dishes of all kinds and desserts. I have always eaten and drunk well and tasty, the staff is young, friendly and attentive. You can sit inside, but in summer it's even nicer to sit outside. If you have to go to the toilet, you walk through the restaurant down a flight of stairs like you're in a small maritime museum. The toilets are clean and sufficient. Not suitable for wheelchair users or people with walking difficulties, as the stairs are a bit steep. So it's better to go to the toilet first at home. At the Deichgräf there are also regular evenings with several course menus at an acceptable price and you can also celebrate there very nicely and deliciously with a buffet of all sorts. A really recommendable restaurant in a really recommendable beautiful village located directly on the beautiful Rhine... worth a trip. Have fun ! 😁

We ordered by phone. Everything was prepared quickly. The portions were all very large and we all enjoyed it. Had 2 kebabs, 1 kebab plate and chicken nuggets with fries. Prices aren't too high either.

The restaurant no longer offers regular al a carte service. However, it is still open for buffet dates or as a delivery service for celebrations at home. The food is always very tasty and top! Unfortunately, the restaurant is a bit old. I don't think the buffet area is that nice, it's dark and not very well ventilated. With the warm food, this room is then very warm. Sometimes you had to wait longer at buffet appointments until the food - for example dessert - was added.

We were in this restaurant for the first and last time. Starting with the seating and the cold in this restaurant, the boss's cool greeting should also be mentioned, which gave a foretaste of what was to come. The menu is small, which isn't a bad thing, but when you see the prices and the "value" I have to say that I've eaten much better. The dishes are probably intended to visually distract from the dish, because all the dishes were unimaginatively arranged, boring in taste, and the pork fillet was dry. The young waitress serves without a tray and just carries the glasses to the table. When it comes to coffee and espresso for dessert, there is definitely room for improvement. Too bad! We wouldn't recommend the restaurant.

Parking was very annoying, had to really look for a place, but we managed anyway 🤗 Beautiful view of the boats passing by on the Rhine was nice! The restaurant decor is a bit boring and bare! Excellent bedroom was well furnished, everything was there 💕 nice gift on the bed ⭐️ Blanket on bed was very small, it could be bigger 🤗 The restaurant food was delicious, really fantastic and worth 5 ⭐️, breakfast also delicious
