Die Terrasse ist unschlagbar, das Essen war super und die Bedienung sehr nett!

Es war wieder mal sehr gut Sehr leckeres Essen Nette Bedienung Sehr zu empfehlen

Wir haben am Rhein ein wirklich köstliches Schnitzel gegessen! Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, und wir bekamen unser Essen und unsere Getränke schnell.

Wir kommen seit Jahren immer wieder nach Rees. Das Rheincafe Rösen gehört dabei immer zu unserem Programm.

Wir haben auf der Terasse gesessen und uns einen Flammkuchen gegönnt. Es war alles sehr lecker, die Bedienung super nett! Waren mit 2 Hunden da, gar kein Problem, danke dafür🥰

Sehr nette Bedienung, tolle Lage

Super nette Bedienung und sehr sehr leckeres Essen. Sonnen und Schattenplätze auf der Terrasse. Man kann schön auf den Rhein schauen.

Haben einen Tisch reserviert für 17 Uhr. Tisch zugewiesen bekommen und mussten trotzdem noch 15 min warten, dann ist mein Mann aufgestanden um sich nur einen Aschenbecher zuholen und wurde gleich von der blonden Bedienung angeflaumt. Mein Mann sagte zu der blonden Bedienung, das wir schon eine viertel Stunde an dem Tisch sitzen, da sagte Sie das dass gar nicht sein kann. Obwohl die Chefin uns an diesen Tisch gesetzt hat. Auf dem Tisch stand ein Reservierungsschild wo drauf stand 17:30. Dann sagte Sie das wir eh nur 15min zum Essen hätten. Und aüsserte Sie sich relativ laut ,das alle Gäste uns angeschaut haben: DAS FÄNGT JA SCHON GUT AN. Dem zufolge war die blonde Bedienung relativ schlecht gelaunt. Da fragen wir uns, was so eine Bedienung im Service zu suchen hat, sie hat den falschen Beruf gewählt. In unseren Augen lässt sich dieses Verhalten nicht rechtfertigen. Das Essen war nicht frei wählbar,man konnte nicht Pommes gegen Bratkartoffeln tauschen, obwohl es Bratkartoffeln gab. Die Aussicht auf den Rhein war ok. Es hätte ein schöner Abend werden können, WENN DIE BLONDE BEDIENUNG NICHT WÄRE Bewertung: 0 Sterne für die blonde Bedienung. 2 Sterne für den Koch.

Das war unser erstes Mal dort essen, und ehrlich gesagt war es eine wirklich schöne Erfahrung 🥰 Das Essen war sehr lecker. Leider habe ich keine Fotos gemacht, weil ich so hungrig war 😅 Der Service war ausgezeichnet, der Besitzer des Cafés ist sehr freundlich und empfängt die Gäste herzlich. Die Atmosphäre war sehr ruhig und besonders ✨ Definitiv eine Erfahrung, die wir wiederholen werden. Sogar meine Kinder haben den Aufenthalt dort sehr genossen 💕

Vergessen gerne mal die Bestellung. Sonnst sehr nettes Lokal.

Hervorragendes Café im Stadtkern mit ausnahmslos liebevoll vom Chef (Konditormeister) hergestellten leckeren Torten. Auch für Gruppen und private Feierlichkeiten bestens geeignet. Auch wegen des Blicks auf den Rhein unbedingt empfehlenswert!

Schönes Café mit noch schönerer Rheinterasse in Rees. Der Kuchen und Cappuccino was sehr gut und die Bedienung freundlich. Nur das man den Kuchen nur an der Theke bestellen kann und den Kaffee am Tisch fanden wir irritiert.

An dem Besitzer ist ein Comedian verloren gegangen 😁 Großartige Atmosphäre und bei diesem Humor kommt man gerne wieder 😉 Vielen Dank für einen schönen Samstag 🫶🏻

Wunderschöne Aussicht, freundliches Personal, aber die Schnitzel haben uns gar nicht geschmeckt.

Aufgrund des schönen Wetters war es sehr voll. Die Wartezeit war länger als erwartet. Wir mussten lange auf unseren Kuchen warten, obwohl wir unsere Getränke schon hatten. Normale Toiletten befinden sich im Untergeschoss. Kartenzahlung möglich.

Wir haben dort anlässlich unserer 1. Radtour in diesem Jahr zu Mittag gegessen und haben beide Grünkohl mit Mettwurst bestellt. Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Portion ausreichend. Der Service freundlich und aufmerksam. Auch der Kaffee und Cappuccino schmeckte gut.

Wir haben in unserem Urlaub den fantastischen Kuchen genossen und auch zu Abend gegessen. Tolle Küche, hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Der Service war sehr freundlich und die Lage an der Rhein Promenade ist schön.

Haben da bisher nur Kuchen gegessen. Der war sehr lecker. Der Service war auch sehr freundlich und der Blick zum Rhein ist fantastisch.

Sehr freundliches personal, der Kuchen ist super lecker, und die Aussicht ist bombastisch. Einziger Minuspunkt ist die mangelnde Barrierefreiheit.

Wir wurden in einem Cafè noch nie derart behandelt. Nur weil wir gefragt hatten, ob die Terrasse bei dem schönen Wetter nicht geöffnet werden könnte, wurden wir angemault, im pampigem Ton auf Personalmangel hingewiesen und dann eine halbe Stunde ignoriert. Als die Terrasse dann doch eröffnet wurde und wir versehentlich einen Stuhl verrückt haben, der - für uns nicht ersichtlich - als Absperrung diente, wurden wir quer über die Terrasse angeschrieen. Also, bei allem Verständnis für Personalmangel, das ist dermaßen unprofessionell und geht gar nicht. Das Essen können wir leider nicht bewerten. Wir haben uns ein anderes Cafè gesucht.

The building looks very old and run-down, the waitress seemed annoyed... and unfortunately, we didn't like either the cakes or the tarts at all. They were very creamy and lacked flavor... the only nice thing is the view of the Rhine when you sit outside.

Great view from the terrace over the Rhine. Many ships with unusual cargo can be seen. Delicious pastries. Only the fish burger isn't a burger at all, but simply a plate of fried fish, fried potatoes, and salad. Friendly and pleasant service 😉

We stayed in Rees for two nights with a small group and stayed right next door. We were guests here in the evening and have only positive things to say. The food arrived promptly, was plentiful, and very tasty. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The value for money was reasonable, and the restaurant was clean and inviting.

Friendly, highly qualified staff will guide you to your chosen seat – in good weather, to the terrace with a panoramic view of the Rhine, whose boat traffic can be admired throughout the day. The food deserves the highest accolades. The staff is well-trained and very friendly. All in all, I can look back on a very successful afternoon/evening.

I always enjoyed going there. Yesterday we decided not to visit the restaurant and café again. The main reason is the sometimes exorbitant prices. While in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg I sometimes pay less than €4 for a 0.5-liter non-alcoholic wheat beer, at most €4.50, and usually between €3.80 and €4.20, there it should be €6.20!!!! That's enough. A bottle of this brand demonstrably costs less than €1. I can't justify such a high markup, not even the view of the Rhine. So we went to another nearby café in downtown Rees with reasonable prices and will not be visiting this restaurant again. The prices for the food were also "very ambitious," to put it mildly. For me, such beer prices are extortionate, especially since I have to pay significantly less for the same product almost everywhere in the south of Germany, as I recently discovered in June in popular tourist destinations like Fraueninsel/Chiemsee, Kitzingen, Aschaffenburg, and Dinkelsbühl. It had to be made clear. I'd rather brew my own beer in the future and get my beer from the liquor store.

I would recommend this restaurant if it weren't for the blonde waitress. How anyone could employ such an incompetent and rude person to serve is a complete mystery to me. She was not only distracted but also extremely unprofessional. Even the guests at neighboring tables were complaining about her. So we decided not to order food and moved on to the next restaurant.

Fantastic view of the (lower) Rhine from the terrace. Great service, really friendly waitresses. The food was world-class, with generous portions and delicious cold beer. We'd be happy to come back.

If a "restaurant" refuses to serve a child fries with sausage instead of fried potatoes (the argument was: "Only as it says on the menu"), I'd gladly give it zero stars. I've never seen anything like it! Someone must have missed their calling... Your answer is a disgrace. Just ask your blonde waitress how rudely she yelled at us: no changes! By the way, we wanted the bratwurst – not a children's plate! It's about you refusing to make a simple side change (fried potatoes and fries). That's the problem! I can draw a picture if you still don't understand. So it remains the case that putting fries instead of fried potatoes on a plate is an impossible task for you, right? -> Then you also have the answer as to why one star is still too many 😉

I went to the Rheincafé Rösen in Ress with my family today – and unfortunately, our visit didn't leave a lasting positive impression. Positives: The location directly on the Rhine is truly beautiful and invites you to linger. The view of the water is a clear strength of the café. Negatives: The service was generally quite inattentive: long waits, hardly any requests for new drinks, and a lack of motivation. The prices are too high for this quality; unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right at all. Overall, rather disappointing. Especially on a sunny day with a view of the Rhine, I would have preferred more hospitality and better quality food. Maybe it was just a bad day – but that doesn't make it a recommendation for me.

Nice café in Rees! Located right between the market square and the Rhine promenade, this café offers plenty of indoor seating and a lovely outdoor terrace with a direct view of the Rhine. It serves a variety of dishes and a very extensive and delicious selection of cakes. The service is very friendly and attentive. A lovely place for a short break!

Very nice location right on the Rhine. Nice outside terrace, old-fashioned inside. Service very friendly. The amount of food was manageable and the salad was absolutely not to our taste because it was only dressed with ready-made mayo. Meat and side dishes okay. Price/performance ratio is not good and cannot be compared with the location, we have often eaten much better and cheaper there. Cake counter looked appetizing and delicious.

Well...the view alone can hardly save it...! Reserved a table - it worked. With six people each a small pot of coffee for 5.70 euros each, totally lukewarm. Cakes 4.40 euros each, cream 1.20 euros each. Uncomfortable because it was very full and the staff was completely overwhelmed and tried hard, but was annoyed. Hardly any choice at 2.30pm on Sunday. A cold drink, not even for everyone, and boom, 85.60 euros. Conclusion: Never again!!! Too bad! Update: Well, everyone can think of their own part about the owner's answer...ever heard of data protection...very, very bad style, Mr. Rösen!!! And I'm sticking with it...never again:(!!!

The location is great, right on the Rhine. You can sit well inside and outside with an unbeatable view. The price is a bit more expensive. Service is authentically friendly. Coffee is good. The cake is very good and can only be recommended! Overall, we enjoyed the main courses. The side salad and the mushroom cream sauce could have been more seasoned for my taste. The fried potatoes were a little too soft for me. The children's meal was also "cooked properly" and looked good (this is often no longer the case with children's meals). The 8 year old was satisfied. We'll definitely come back.

Very nicely located. Directly on the Rhine. An outdoor terrace with a view of the Rhine invites you to linger. Very good selection of fresh cakes and tarts, which are made daily in our own pastry shop. There is also a lunch menu. A house and a master confectioner with a long tradition.

Right on the promenade, the prices are pretty steep, whether it's beer 🍺 or food. The café is really busy, but I think it's overpriced 🤷‍♀️ You're just paying for the view of the Rhine. But the staff was extremely friendly and always tried to make sure our glasses were filled.🥰

Big recommendation, the overall impression couldn't be better, I'd be happy to do it again on my next visit to Rees.

Rheincafe Roesen, located directly on the Rhine in Rees, the café not only offers a beautiful view, but also a large selection of cakes and dishes, all of which are very tasty. The staff is nice, friendly and attentive. If you would like to sit on the terrace, you should come during the week as it can be very busy on weekends.

Good food, service is a bit surly but otherwise good service.

Unfortunately we cannot rate the food/drinks here as no order was placed. However, we didn't find the service good at all. Only when we asked did we get a menu (we wanted to order food and drinks), then we only received a DIN A4 piece of paper on a clipboard with different dishes on it than in the display case in front of the café (which is why we went in) and the drinks were completely missing. When we asked for a drinks menu we were told that there wasn't one and that you could order the usual drinks. The fact that as a guest you would also like to see the prices does not seem to be an option here. We then left again without ordering and found what we were looking for in another café. It's a shame, the view of the Rhine was really nice.

As of: June 2024. Outdated café. The cakes were all run of the mill, no love in making them, dry and boring. Service inattentive and no sense of presentation. The coffee tasted as if it had been kept warm for hours. A pity.

I hope I am not making a confusion but it is also a restaurant, the first room has cakes and after you enter directly in the restaurat and the terrace. Wonderful place, extremely good food and very attentive staff. The specific is German food, although they had Nudeln "Black Tiger" which are with garnelen and were extraordinary. I will not say anything about the view and let the picture to speak

Food very good and plentiful, staff super friendly and attentive. There were a few restrictions due to a construction site in the house but not worth mentioning. We'll definitely come back.

Always worth a visit even in rainy weather! We recommend the warm cuisine as well as the selection of cakes! We would love to come back again.
