Schönes Restaurant mit Rheinblick. Mit dem Rollstuhl gut zu erreichen, entsprechende Toilette ist auch vorhanden. Leider haben so gut wie alle Gerichte laktosehaltige Komponenten, so dass die Auswahl bei Laktoseintoleranz sehr eingeschränkt ist. Ansonsten ist das Essen super.

Während einer Fahrradtour mit meiner Frau haben wir beschlossen, hier eine kurze Pause einzulegen, und es war wirklich eine ausgezeichnete Entscheidung. Das Restaurant liegt an einem sehr schönen Ort direkt am Wasser, sodass man sich entspannt hinsetzen, erholen und die Atmosphäre der Umgebung genießen kann. Schon beim Betreten wurden wir sehr freundlich und mit einem Lächeln begrüßt, was sofort einen sehr guten Eindruck hinterlassen hat. Das Essen war sehr lecker, frisch und gut zubereitet. Die Portionen waren angemessen, alles wurde ansprechend serviert, und die Wartezeit war trotz mehrerer Gäste recht kurz. Man merkt, dass hier sowohl auf die Qualität der Speisen als auch auf die Atmosphäre großen Wert gelegt wird. Es ist der ideale Ort, um während einer Radtour anzuhalten, sich auszuruhen und gut zu essen. Die angenehme Stimmung, die schöne Aussicht und der freundliche Service haben dafür gesorgt, dass wir sehr zufrieden waren. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Ein schönes Restaurant mit einem tollen Ausblick. Das Durchschnittsalter der Gäste ist grob überflogen 50+. Das Essen war gut, aber über eine Stunde darauf warten ist nicht so klasse. Die Bedienung war freundlich und relativ fix. Nachtrag: Das sich Geduld haben lohnt. hat mein letzter Besuch vor einigen Wochen gezeigt. Ein super leckeres Essen, tolle Bedienung. Darum einen Stern +, auch wenn warten nicht meine Stärke ist.

Wir wurden freundlich begrüsst und bekamen einen Tisch, auch ohne Reservierung und das mit direktem Wasserblick. Vom "alten" Restaurant ist, ausser der Einrichtung, nicht mehr viel übrig. Balkan trifft Niederrhein könnte gut sein, ist es aber leider nicht. Zum Beispiel, die Champignonsauce kommt aus dem Tetrapack und ist eigentlich eine Hollandaise, der Pilze hinzugefügt worden sind. Das Bier war einwenig abgestanden. Es gibt auch gute Nachrichten, das Fleisch war okay. Insgesamt, an der Qualität kann man noch deutlich arbeiten. So ist es eine Pommesbude mit toller Rheinlage. Bleibt nur zu sagen, so wie früher, wegen des guten Kochens und der Fischgerichte, braucht man nicht mehr hinzufahren. Nun, es ist vielleicht besser als ein Leerstand.

Ich habe vor Weinachten dort gegessen, und kann nur sagen: Es hat sich gelohnt. Sehr sehr guter, aufmerksamer und freunlicher Service. Sehr leckeres Essen, und es sollte fast für jeden was dabei sein. Die Karte ist übersichtlich gespickt mit verschiedenen Speisen aus Fisch und Fleisch. Selbst für die Hunde gab es eine Kleinigkeit. Das Restaurant liegt direkt am Rhein, und bietet eine schöne Aussicht auf die Fähre und das Gewässer. Insgesamt kann man sagen, super Service, vernünftige Preise und leckeres Essen.

The terrace is unique in summer, the most beautiful on the Rhine between Nijmegen and Düsseldorf.

We ate there this evening. The staff is friendly. The portions are good, almost too big for us. Next time we'll order a smaller portion for a lighter meal. I had a mixed grill; the meat was under-seasoned and still very fatty. It hadn't been drained. But it still tasted good. We'll be back.

All in all, a good atmosphere and very tasty food. Good value for money. Would gladly come again.

A friendly welcome, a traditional 1970s/1980s ambiance, and a very meat-heavy menu. I ordered the most expensive fish dish (€27.xx) and received an empty white plate, a basket of whitish, chewy baguette, and a pan of various square, breaded fish pieces swimming in unseasoned butter. It was neither a feast for the eyes nor a feast for the palate. The cake was good, the whipped cream, not. What a shame!

A cozy restaurant with a rustic fisherman's and angler's atmosphere. Very tidy and clean. We received a very friendly welcome and enjoyed coffee and cake here. The selection was good, the cake even better! From the outdoor terrace, you have a beautiful view of the Rhine meadows, the Vatter Rhein, and the small Grieth passenger ferry. In summary: a lovely destination for a stroll or a relaxing day trip by the water.

Unfortunately, this was the worst asparagus meal we've had in decades. The asparagus was cooked so briefly that it was completely raw inside and therefore bitter. We complained politely, of course. Unfortunately, the asparagus that was delivered later was also raw. We could barely cut even the asparagus heads and couldn't eat them. The fish and side dishes were, of course, long cold; we would have gladly accepted a warming treatment. The waitress admitted that there have been similar complaints from guests before. Although we couldn't eat the asparagus at all and everything else remained cold, we were unfortunately charged in full. We were all very disappointed, especially the person who invited us, who had to pay €120 for almost nothing.

Fair price, great food! My portion was so big I could never eat all by my self. The schnitzel was delicious and the French fries were perfectly made. And for the price of the dish a buffet of salad is also included! And if you cannot finish your meal, it's ok they will immediately pack it for you! We were really welcomed here by the friendly staff. Would recommend and would come back!

We ate there on Saturday evening. The service was nice and friendly. The food wasn't my taste. We had cevapcici, which was a bit too dry, and the red rice. It was more tomato-flavored with a bit of rice. The fried potatoes were lukewarm and not as crispy or seasoned. The seating was lovely, with a view of the Rhine.

All I can say is, it's very good. The food was delicious, the service was very friendly, everything was excellent. Keep it up.

The service is very friendly and attentive, but that doesn't make up for the poor quality of the food. The salad at the buffet had brown spots, the food was slapped onto the plate in a somewhat careless manner, the fries were dry and very salty, there was a tiny pile of vegetable rice, and the cevapcici were dry—everything was just okay. I've had better food at Croatian restaurants.

A very nice restaurant on the dike in Grieth am Rhein. From the tables, you have a stunning view of the passing ships. On the right bank of the Rhine in Grietherort is the equally well-known Restaurant Nass. The food is outstanding in both quality and preparation. The staff is very friendly. Reservations are highly recommended.

A very nice fisherman's or sailor's restaurant (restaurant) right on the Rhine with a wonderful view in the small village of Grieth. The village itself invites you to take a walk. Through old streets and along old walls, you immediately feel like you have been transported back to the past. After a long walk and with a growling stomach and a dry throat, you come across the Deichgräf along the banks of the Rhine. A rustic restaurant invites you to have a leisurely and delicious lunch a cold beer with a view of the Rhine and the shipping. The menu has something for small and large appetites, from delicious pancakes to fish soup to fish dishes of all kinds and desserts. I have always eaten and drunk well and tasty, the staff is young, friendly and attentive. You can sit inside, but in summer it's even nicer to sit outside. If you have to go to the toilet, you walk through the restaurant down a flight of stairs like you're in a small maritime museum. The toilets are clean and sufficient. Not suitable for wheelchair users or people with walking difficulties, as the stairs are a bit steep. So it's better to go to the toilet first at home. At Deichgräf there are also regular evenings with several course menus at an acceptable price and you can also celebrate there very nicely and deliciously with a buffet of all sorts. A really recommendable restaurant in a really recommendable beautiful village located directly on the beautiful Rhine...worth a trip. Have fun ! 😁

The food was very good! The service seemed a bit overwhelmed.

We were just there after Kernies Wonderland and wanted to have dinner. Drinks order was taken, when we asked to bring the tickets, we were asked if we had reserved. We said no, then the waitress pressed us and said it would be difficult... When we asked what that meant, they said drinks were available but no food because there were too many reservations. It's absolutely not possible and we've never experienced a situation where you can't order anything to eat early on a Saturday evening because you're overwhelmed due to lack of space or overcrowding. It's a real shame, you want to go out to eat and support the restaurants that are still there and then something like that.

Wir wollten uns rechtzeitig, einige Monate im Voraus, für eine Geburtstagsfeier mit einigen Gästen anmelden. Durch die Unfreundlichkeit der INHABERIN (!) kam es nicht mehr dazu. Braucht kein Mensch. Es gibt zahlreiche freundliche und gute Alternativen.

Very nice service and a unique view

Schöne Terrasse mit Blick auf den Rhein, bei gutem Wetter hat uns das sehr gut gefallen. Das Personal war zwar immer bemüht allen Bestellungen gerecht zu werden, aber zwei Kellnerinnen für den Innen- und Außenbereich waren wohl doch etwas zu wenig. Nach dem wir die Bestellung aufgegeben hatten, dauerte es mehr als 10 Minuten, bis wir unsere Getränke erhalten haben. Die bestellten Gerichte wurden dann doch noch nach weiteren 45 Minuten serviert. Mein Fischteller war schön angerichtet und auch sehr lecker, die Bratkartoffeln allerdings eine Katastrophe, trieften vor Fett und sahen nicht wirklich appetitlich aus. Meine Frau hat sich ein Champignon Schnitzel, ebenfalls mit Bratkartoffeln bestellt. Dieses Gericht ist bei ihr komplett durchgefallen. Das Schnitzel kam aus der Fritteuse, die Pilze aus dem Glas/ Dose, über die sogenannten Bratkartoffeln habe ich schon berichtet. Eigentlich sehr schade, denn leckere Bratkartoffeln zu machen ist nicht wirklich schwer und frisches Gemüse zu verwenden gehört bei einer guten Küche einfach dazu.

Wir kommen seit Jahren aus Krefeld und waren bis dahin sehr zufrieden mit Speisekarte und Preisleistungs-Verhältnis. Wir waren gestern ziemlich enttäuscht vom nicht mehr vorzeigbaren Salatbuffet. Kein Chinese bietet soetwas noch heute an. Selbstbedienung bei diesem Preis Niveau nicht tragbar. Preise für Tafel Wasser Euro 3,50 (Rentnerpreis). Die Zusammenstellung der Speisen sind nicht mehr als bürgerliche Küche. Das Lokal ist nur noch für Radfahrer zu empfehlen.

A family dinner for 8 people at lunchtime. The service was very friendly. The table we were assigned to, which we had pre-ordered by phone, was according to our wishes and had a view of the Rhine. The orders (drinks and food) were taken quickly even though the restaurant was fully booked. The ordered dishes were served after a reasonable amount of time. Everything was freshly prepared. The salads at the buffet were crunchy and had a delicious dressing. The dishes we ordered (rump steak, trout, salmon and fillet slices) were cooked to perfection and very tasty. The price-performance ratio is definitely right. We can only recommend this restaurant
