After a very tasty meal in the restaurant on Bahnhofstrasse, it was clear to us that Marco should take care of the catering for our silver wedding anniversary in July. The conversations we had beforehand were all very pleasant. Marco is totally motivated, has really good ideas, and his offers for vegan food have also been well received. During the celebration he asked if everything was okay or if there were any further wishes or questions. We and all the guests were thrilled with this delicious and exceptional food. The mini burgers at midnight were also a hit!!! Thanks!!!!

We were in the Balkan restaurant on December 3rd, 2024. I refer here exclusively to Cevapcici. The dish was ordered 5 times at our table. It was the same for everyone. The cevapcici were either from the freezer or had already been warmed several times. They were completely wobbly, like rubber. The same goes for the fries. It was supposed to be Christmas dinner for us. Unfortunately, that went completely wrong. We will never come back again.

Reserved for 6 people on Sunday evening. Reservation confirmed. When we arrived after waiting 20 minutes we were told that the chef was ill and only one burger dish was available. Visit canceled. Was that 2? Once upon arrival it was not possible to make a selection from the menu due to unavailable dishes. Further points of criticism: see rating on TripAdvisor. Becker Krug: No, thank you!

Nice cozy little pub with bowling alleys. The inventory is getting old, but that's part of the charm of the restaurant. There are also covered places outside. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. Dogs are welcome. The food and drinks tasted great. The food is freshly prepared (unfortunately there wasn't everything on the menu but that wasn't a bad thing). The price-performance ratio is absolutely fine. We will definitely stop there again.

Crass colloquial language, price/performance ratio no longer fits. It used to be my favorite shop until a certain incident that even resulted in a physical attack. Friends told me that the tone of the former boss hasn't changed. It used to be the top address far and wide, unfortunately it has This is all turning out to be very detrimental, as people keep telling me, nothing tastes the same anymore.

I've ordered several times, but two people got food poisoning after yesterday's kebab... we won't be buying anything here any time soon.

The sad fairy tale began with the table reservation. A name wasn't even asked. When we arrived on site and an older woman, presumably the owner, asked about our reservation and we told her that we hadn't given a name, the only thing she said in a derogatory way was: "Oh, of course reserving without a name makes sense." We were then asked if we were there with Schlemmerblock. After that, the already low-hanging corners of his mouth went even further down. We were taken to a separate room. There, like in a fast food restaurant, comparable to McDonalds and the sheet of paper on the tray, laminated menus are used as coasters. During our visit there we saw the waitress a total of 4 times. Once to take us to the table, then to take the food order, to clear the dishes and to pay. When we took our order, we were grumpily told that if we didn't order now, we would have to wait forever because others would also order now. When we wanted to pay, there was still derogatory talk about other users of the Schlemmerblock. A small excerpt from the angry monologue led by the supposed owner: “Some people come here all the time (with the gourmet block) to eat here for free. So I just asked the man if I could get something for free when I came to his house.” Or: “The block is actually only there to get to know restaurants and not to eat here for free all the time. We are not welfare.” Because of this unfriendliness, we decided not to tip. We hadn't even left the hallway and she started complaining about how we gave "no tip and no nothing." According to the general rules under k), there are no disadvantages to the user of the gourmet block in terms of the service, quality and quantity of the food from the voucher provider. This means that this is either the case that there is fundamentally poor service, or that the service was so bad because of the gourmet block. If I started with the quality of the food here, I would still be here tomorrow. So I refer you to the other reviews here. The only thing I would like to say is that my fried potatoes had almost no flavor and were almost cold. The ribs were dry and had very little meat. As a result, you can say that the service and quality of the food is very inadequate and it is more of an impression to eat there. However, we were now able to get to know this restaurant through the Schlemmerblock and are firmly convinced that it was good to go with the Block and therefore we didn't waste so much money. Because if you were to relate this getting to know each other with the block to a first date, this would be the moment when you say goodbye in a somewhat friendly manner, but at least one party knows that you will never see each other again. The money could just as easily have been donated. Then it would still have been useful and served a good cause.
